I usually get my hair done by Shawn (she is absolutely AMAZING!!!) but was told she was fully booked and due to an event I was going to and needing my hair done I scheduled with the new stylist they recommended. I even spoke with her on the phone to confirm for myself she could do the style requested and she said yes. She did not know what she was doing AT ALL!!! I left and tried to come back but they were closed. My hair looks as though it hasnt even been done! I look like Animal from the Muppet Babies. If Shawns not available I will gladly and patiently wait until she is free and if she ever leaves ill go to wherever she goes because they truly do not care about hiring talented stylists for Black hair but have no problem charging us way more. Shame.
I had my haircut with Jackie last May and was very satisfied. I decided I would grow my hair a little longer to achieve the bob that Jackie and I wanted. So I called today, Jackie wasn’t around and was assigned to Livia. I have never been disappointed with a haircut ever! My hair was shoulder length already and I told her I wanted it short at the back and long in the front. She cut it just straight and just a little longer on the front. I looked like Dora w/o the bangs!!! I then complained and to my frustration started crying. It’s not like you can grow your hair in a week right away. Happy that Alysa was able to fix it. She was very nice. Very apologetic even if it wasn’t her fault, but Livia didn’t even come to me and say sorry. You should think twice about making her stay in your salon. I came to look good, but Livia made me look awful! Thanks to Alysa for saving my haircut somehow. With my experience today, I am surely taking my business somewhere else.
Made an appointment and drove nearly an hour for it, only for them to call me and cancel it because they overbooked. Beyond unprofessional and a waste of my time and gas. Here’s a tip: don’t blame your poor business habits on your online appointment system when the hair colorist is clearly lazy.
Two years ago made an appt to get my hair trimmed took off from work early the stylist told me she could not cut my hair being african American highly disappinted why would they hire a person that cannot cut all types of hair. Never going back.
Disappointed with your salon receptionist. I phoned a couple of weeks ago to schedule an appointment. I was put on hold for so long, my call was dropped. Phoned a second time only to be put on hold once again. When I arrived I was greeted by the frazzled receptionist I spoke with earlier on the phone. I was quite surprised in her appearance; Messy hair, wide drawn on Groucho Marx eye brows, bright colored lipstick and a raggedy top with holes in it. It had been a while since I had patronized this particular salon. I remember it being a bit classier than that. On the upside, I was very pleased with the service, hair cut and style I received from Misty. Following my service, the receptionist tried to overcharge me for the service provided. Hopefully you can find someone a little more mature to handle your salon receptionist duties. This young girl was a hot mess!
I have never been treated so rudely. I have been coming here for years and years. They lost a faithful customer today. I will never recommend this salon to anyone.
Very very satisfied. While visiting Toledo, I desperately needed a cut. I was able to get in right away! Jessica did a great job!! Often my hair can be challenging to blend... She blended it perfectly! $32
Alysa does my nails and my hair. She is a very good worker, and goes above and beyond to please her clients. I love having my nails done, but I wish you had a wider selection of colors. Alysa mixes colors to help us get the right shades.
WORST EXPERIENCE!!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I made an appointment online and confirmed the appointment. Recieved a call that stated that they need to move my daughter to a different styliest, no problem I can be flexible. Get to the salon, wait 35 mins to be told that the stylist that we were moved to decided to not to come into work. Not her fault they did not tell her to come to the salon today.
I am a regular client of Markies and absolutely love coming here to get my eyebrows waxed. Love this place!

Horrible customer service!!!! tried to call and make appointments for my daughters and me. lady who answered put me on hold when she finally answered said she would call me back. she took my number i waited an hour no return call. i called again was put on hold again forever. finally hung up and called Dillards where i was quickly booked appointments and was not put on hold!

Made an appointment on a Saturday evening for Sunday morning. Stylist was late for work. She started styling my hair 1 1/2 hours later than my scheduled appointment. Extremely poor customer service.
I booked an appointment for Saturday at 10:30am for a formal updo style, I got there and was informed I never made the appointment. They looked up what could be the problem and apparently they said the stylist I booked with couldnt do updo hair styles and canceled the appointment. They then told me that there was a note here that they contacted me about it, but I was never contacted about it.
I had nothing but phenomenal one on one service each time I went. Im VERY picky about my cuts and color. I usually do an assymetrical disconnected bob with a slight undercut. Color is usually Redken/Matrix Darkest Brown Black with hand painted highlighlights in Pravana Purple and Pravana Blue. I have had three separate stylists there due to scheduling conflicts, but Monica, Kat and Misty are hands down THE BEST. They stay current and on trend and are willing to cut outside of the box 😍
My 19 year old daughter had an appt. scheduled a week in advance to get her hair colored but instead was on the receiving end of a tirade about how they couldnt do what she wanted. Then asked her what she wanted to spend instead of having a set price. Being that she never colored her hair before maybe they couldve been more professional and instead of a lecture explain what the process is and show her swatches of what they could do for her instead. My daughter isnt unreasonable, just is naive to what has to be done but said the woman was acting put out and upset with her and told her she would give her someone elses number. She seemed to be the only person available at the time and in the meantime the woman had to call the manager because they didnt have any bleach. The lady then said it would take half an hour and sent girls to run errands. It sounded like she was just trying to get rid of them. What salon doesnt have bleach or are not prepared to color someones hair that had scheduled an appt. for specifically coloring hair? My daughter was so upset and embarrassed she didnt return.
