Delicious everything. My only complaint is that they moved so parking is harder and their building is smaller. Other than that one of my favorite places to eat. Delicious bagels with plenty of cream cheese. Bagel sandwiches have tons of filling.

Barry Bagles is located super close to multiple motels such as the Residence Inn that I stayed at while visiting Toledo. We walked there it was so close.Barrys is nice and clean both inside and out. There is both indoor and outdoor dining in place.I ordered an eggle with meat and cheese on a everything bagle. The bagle was nice fresh, and soft. There are many options for the bagle, meat, cheese and fresh veggies. Think of it like a subway, but with bagles. The house coffee was also of good quality.The gentleman who waited on me was very nice, and helpful (7/10/21 7am).Pros: Great food! Clean establishment, friendly employee.Cons: NoneI highly recommend this place. It is interesting in that you basically build your own bagle.

If you can order ahead do it because they are ALWAYS busy! Food is always good here. Try my favorite sandwich: honey roasted turkey with cream cheese, tomato and honey mustard on a garlic bagel. I promise you wont be disappointed. Also try the tomato basil raviolini soup if they have it with a toasted asiago or sun roasted tomato bagel with cream cheese. Its SO good!

The food was fine but the servers were extremely rude. The Barry’s on Dussel in Maumee is MUCH nicer.To answer the owner’s request for further explanation, the food preparer was curt, rushed and unpleasant. The cashier was equally rude.

I always seem to have a time problem with Barry bagels ordering online as well as with the actual pick up of the food.Ive placed orders with both Holland Sylvania and this location before they moved and now since theyve moved. Its always the same experience.Picking up the order is a nightmare most times. Nobody greets you. In the new location there isnt a sign anywhere telling you what to do. Its location of the register is behind a corner with a lot of traffic and during covid nobody can stay 6 feet apart by the register. But the worst to me is the business model where you have 1 Barry employee working with 1 customer and thats all they focus on. The problem I have then is I go to the register and either have to interrupt someone to ask if this is where I pick up my online order or try and catch 1 of the 12 employees not busy to ask if they can find it. Sometimes I stand there for minutes waiting for someone to notice me and to see what Im doing standing there.On top of that it always seems like they start building the bagels when I come in and say I have an online order. The process seems very slow and not efficient at all. In my opinion there are few changes they could make that would enhance everybodys experience.Its still 3 stars because the bagels are decent and there is no real competitor around the Toledo area. Panera? McDonalds? None of them have good made-to-order breakfast sandwiches.All in all the food and sandwiches are worth it. If the other things dont bother you, give it a go.(PS the entrance: sat waiting for my sandwiches the other day and minimum 50% of people went the wrong way becuase its not clear if you should go left or right when you walk in.)Reply: I totally get the issue with the move and in the times of covid its gotta be a struggle. I appreciate what you guys do and continue to come back I just think minor changes would make worlds of difference with efficiency. The register area was the least of my problems.

Bagels are great but won’t buy anything else besides bagels here anymore! Hot corn beef not hot so tough u can’t chew or eat it tough as rubber. The soup tasted like someone boiled socks in water ordered on line still had to wait inside for over 20 minutes wearing a mask when others were not wearing one..

Ive always stockpiled their bagels in my freezer. Cant beat them! All of their other deli goodies are first rate, too!

Consistently great- Have been coming here for at least seven years now and I cannot recommend it enough. Their sandwiches are great, but its worth trying their sides too (I love the mac&cheese!). Cookies are amazing too.

I normally love Barry’s, but what’s the point of ordering online if i have to wait for 20 minutes in store while 15 people in the line get their food before me. I came at the time my order was said to be ready which was half an hour after I placed it, and ended up being late to work. There should be priority for orders that are placed in advance and I’ll think before returning to this location.

Used to have much better chicken salad baked potato with cheese. Not so good now. Owner responds same baked potato. The potato might be the same. Cheese was clumpy and dry. Chicken salad dry

Unfortunately due to my pre existing condition I am no longer allowed to be served at this restaurant. Used to be one of my favorites but unfortunately they choose not to accept customers from all walks of life.Update: As I see Barry’s has decided to not only respond to my comment, but respond with a lie, i feel the need to inform the public who reads this. The state of Ohio and Lucas county have in writing for the ordinance that individuals under the age of 6 or with preexisting conditions (both mental and physical) may be exempt from said ordinance if need be. I understand that the polarization of today’s issues force companies to take a hardline, one sided stance on issues like this, but I would encourage your future business decisions to be made through the lens of inclusivity rather than exclusivity.2nd update: Barry’s has also told other customers who complained about lack of masks being worn that it is recommended not required. That was only a couple months ago. Which is true?

The bagel sandwiches are awesome, a little overpriced in my opinion but very good and I will continue to pay for it because of that reason. Also they do stack on the meat pretty thick.. The homemade cookies and rice crispy treats are awesome and a must have add on. Also I love the fact that they have multiple donation boxes at the counter most of which are animal related.

Very clean and well maintained facility. I was very unsure of what to order but a staff member walked me though the breakfast sandwich options and all the modifications that were available. Very kind and courteous, and the food was delicious.

Barrys just moved to a new location. The counter set up is too crowded. Very confusing getting to the cashier when people are also trying to get their coffee and block traffic.

Amazing! Amazing! 5+ stars. Came up from Georgia to visit family and found this on Google. My daughter had the farmers eggel on garlic and loved it. I had the meat, egg and cheese eggel on plain. 😋 Going back again tomorrow! Wish we had this in Georgia!

Just got two hot corned beef sandwiches, and the meat was so tough, all the meat on the sandwiches would pull out of the sandwiches when I tried to bite into it could not chew

Love this place. Tends to get kind of pricey for a typical lunch. But Id pick this over Panera 10 times out of 10. I usually get a bagel sandwich with cream cheese and pastrami. Ive been coming here since the old Westgate and Ive never had bad food. Glad Barrys is a Toledo staple, and growing ❤️

Today around 2-3 I was heading down to where I am supposed to pay, and there way already a short blondish lady standinding at the register. When I had arrived she stood there for a bit and then walked away from me. I am somewhat of a regular here so I know this isnt supposed to happen. I cant stand to give anything less than 5 stars because this place is One of my favorites. Edit: the girl that had helped me was not new, hence why I was so shocked.

Two of 3 staff were very friendly and smiled. The 3rd needed to go back to bed!!!!! Sandwiches, soups, cookie, and chips . . . AWESOME, as usual!!!!! Cashier very responsive and even said HAPPY BIRTHDAY when he noticed I had a free cookie discount.

Barrys has been the go-to place for bagels and quality deli in Toledo since I was a kid. The formula is simple but tough to replicate: really good bagels and quality deli products, soups, and sides. Barry learned the art of bagel making long ago, and fortunately today his family has carried on the legacy. Definitely worth a stop for a sandwich or just a quick bagel and shmear. The cookies and coffee are great as well if a sweet snack is more your speed.

I always get a roast beef on an everything bagel. It is one of the best roast beef sandwiches you can get in the area. The pastrami is also very good.

Good place for bagel sandwiches and deli style food. Potato salad is awesome and so are the fresh cookies. Casual atmosphere and prices are on par with other upscale deli bakeries, such as Panera.

Rude customer service. Ive gone to the Westgate location for decades and theyve now permanently lost my business. A mistake was made on a bagel I purchased for breakfast this morning, I called and politely asked for a refund after realizing the mistake. The manager was helpful and offered a full refund. When I returned to the store the employee at the register was incredibly agitated that I wanted a refund. He made a scene because I wanted $3 back. Other customers also noticed how agitated he was. Im not sure if its an overall problem with the store or just certain employees but beware you could be mistreated if you attempt to make any complaints.

Excellent delicatessen food prepared to order; fast and efficient staff; cafeteria style; try the lox and cream cheese on a toasted bagel, with slices of sweet onion and tomato, and a kosher dill pickle wedge on the side. Ambrosia!

Great bagels if pricey. The bagels are so good, but I have to rate 4 stars because they are expensive. Very yummy and I always get the veggie sandwich, for some reason tastes much better on their bagels!

Miss the old Barrys...when Barry was alive...bagels were fresher and you could purchase meet and cheese by the pound...plus the staff was more hip and fun...miss the big old Barrys and salad bar too

Very fast service, they get it right all the time.If you are health conscious, remember to ask them to go light on the spreads you choose. They often slutter a large amount on the bagel.
