I will continue to use Artistic Auto for my car repair needs. Rhys did a great job communicating the status of my repair, which is so different than most companies that I work with.The quality of the repair was excellent, and they took the time to clean the inside as well!

Horrible service and I will not be back.I repaired my Honda Accord at this shop and few years ago and they were great and did a fantastic job. When I had the need for more body work I naturally brought it back.First is took about 3 weeks to get an appointment for an estimate. Not great but okay.The appointment to repair the car was for a few weeks later. Once they had the car, it took quite a while to get everything straight with the insurance company. In fact, when I called for an update, it didnt seem anything had happened. So I called the insurance company and moved the process forward.Once work began, they discovered additional damage. Again. there was a wait associated with getting a new approval from the insurer. Once again, I had to call the insurer and push the case with them.Once reviewed, the insurer concluded the repairs would cost more than the car so they wanted to Total the car. Given the current auto market, I wanted to keep the car particularly since the car was otherwise in good condition. When I discussed this with Artistic, I asked them whether I could just pay for the repairs. They said sure but that the final price could change based on finding additional damage and or costs of parts. I was floored as there was already a supplement and yet nothing was really final.I wasnt willing to take the risk of having a higher repair bill so told them I wanted the car back and did that on a Monday. On Wednesday I got a call saying I would have to pay $140 to have the car put back together. Not happy about that but fine. I was only able to get the car on Friday, 4 days after requesting it back. In total Artistic had the car for 3-weeks.I understand things take a while, particularly in the current market environment with labor and part shortages. However, I never felt that Artistic supported me with any discussion with the insurer and there were so many delays. Perhaps I was just unlucky with the Artistic associate assigned to my case. Im really not sure but what I know is that I was severely disappointed in the service and outcome. (My car is still banged up and I wasted about two months with all of the above issues. Ugh!)

I have had the misfortune of needing the services of an auto body shop several times over the last 20 year and cannot say enough good things about Artistic Auto Body - Tigard and the service I have received from them. They have been very professional, timely, and have done a great job of working on repairs on several Lexus cars that I have owned. When they are done, you cannot even tell that there was every any damage to the car....always an excellent result! I hope to not need their services in the future, but would not go anywhere else.

Mike R was my estimator. Mike sent an email to me addressing ‘Mr & Mrs’. I walked in alone. On absolutely no paperwork has a Mr on it. For Mike to assume this is sexist. I guess a women can’t have a expensive and fast car. I would recommend equity training for your staff. My car is beautiful and that is appreciated. Customer service needs help.

I took my Leaf there twice when it was damaged and it came back looking better than ever. Once when I got it back, two panels didnt line up quite right and I pointed it out. No more than 15 minutes later they brought it back out and it was perfect. I recently took my Model S in for work and they were very cooperative and understanding about the Tesla service center dragging their feet and having to repeatedly reschedule. When I got the car back it looked great. It turns out that there was a misunderstanding on what exactly I did and didnt want to fix but thats kinda my fault for not being very very specific. When I got the cat back I didnt notice a couple of new rattles inside so I took it back to see if it was something they may have knocked loose or whatever. Mike and another guy (sorry I forgot his name) took a little test drive with me and determined it wasnt anything they did but the guy in back did notice that a good piece of the bottom of the back door wasnt properly attached. Again, within 10 minutes, they put that on proper for me and I was on my way. Full disclosure, two employees, including Mike are buddies of mine. That was the whole reason I initially took the Leaf there, because I knew I could trust my friend to make sure that the work on my car was done right. Now, I dont go anywhere else unless I just have to take it to Tesla.

Always quality work but most importantly... excellent communication from all staff. I drive 4hrs one way for this body shop!

One of the worst. I am the CEO of a successful company so think I should know how customer service should work. Multiple untruths about everything from parts to when the vehicle would be ready. Cost me a lot of extra money due to their errors and duplicitous behavior. I will be filing a formal complaint with the AG of Oregon as there are other things they did I prefer not to share. The owner refused to contact me when I requested a call on my issues. Stay away.

Artistic is the best place in Portland for vehicle repairs. As a self confessed OCD car nut, I am harder to please than your average customer, but Artistic has met and exceeded my expectations. I have used them for 3 separate repairs over that last 2 years, and each time I have been extremely satisfied with their work. From the check in, to setting realistic expectations, to constant communication through the process, and lastly, to the great results, they are there through the process. Couldnt be any happier with the overall experience, highly recommended. Especially high marks for Daniel Lao and Jason Lee, they were an absolute pleasure to work with and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

These people are expert professionals in their craft! I had driven through some unmarked road paint and had to file a claim against a county. Artistic Auto Body did an excellent job communicating with the insurance to make the process as easy as possible on me. My car had bright yellow splatter all over the left side of my car and I was worried it would be hard to come off, but they repaired it to like-new condition. The repair is beautiful and they got it done in two days. Incredible. They must’ve washed my car because it was so clean upon pickup. They put protective covers on the drivers seat and steering wheel which I really appreciated given the pandemic. They also have a great social distancing help desk setup outside their office. All their workers wear masks and they sanitize pens for you to use. If I need to get body work done I will literally never go anywhere else!!! If you’re considering going to artistic, this is your sign to do it. You may pay a little extra than their competitors, but if you care a lot about your car like I do, you know that’s a small price to pay. its worth it.

WOW!! Christina and Jason were amazing to work with! Since this was a Tesla, the initial estimate said it could take up to 6 months... The got it done in 19 days!! They took very good care of me throughout the process and did a fantastic job with the repair. They came recommended from Tesla Service and did not disappoint.

Once again AAB has returned my vehicle to looking like brand new. Over the course of the last 36 years I have had several occasions to use AAB’ s services and every time they have done a wonderful job.

To make an incredibly long story as simple and objective as possible: my vehicle was returned to me twice in disrepair. More damage was caused to the vehicle during their possession. The estimator I was working with out right lied saying a part had been replaced in the vehicle. After speaking with the insurance company, they had not authorized or even been made aware of this damaged item, therefore it had never actually been replaced. Their office staff was rude at times and uninformed on insurance related items. Their estimator and in office Progressive Insurance representative provided me the type of experience you hear about on the Leifs radio commercials. Avoid this body shop at all cost. The work that was completed was sub-par. The scariest part is the lack of honesty and integrity this group of people/company posses.

Excellent experience with Artistic! This is the second time weve used them to repair body damage from a wreck. This time, during a global pandemic this significant time restraints, and they pulled it off perfectly! I rear-ended another car in my Jeep Grand Cherokee and had to work through State Farm to get my vehicle repaired in time for a road trip. Since everyone in the insurance world is working from home these days, Artistic had been experiencing delays with approvals from State Farm on estimates. The combination of me staying on top of State Farm, and Artistic communicating with them actively daily, resulted in faster than expected approvals. But, the repair still had to get done in time. Artistic managed to return the car 2 days early, and communicated with me throughout the whole process. Couldnt be happier with the process, they are just so easy to work with and professional. I will absolutely go back in the future if needed, and I strongly recommend Artistic to anybody!

A group of individuals were able to take a really bad situation and coordinate with me from across the country and were beyond kind, respectful and accommodating in my time of need. I wish I could remember names, but one employee in particular took a personal interest in my situation and she hand dug for a very special backpack that was in my vehicle and she personally delivered it to me when I pulled in. Im pretty suspicious of any automotive repair shop, but due to some body damage, I had to take my chances. My car has a premium pearlescent paint and that paint requires a lot of skill to repair and blend. I was happily satisfied. The paintwork was excellent, as was the body work. Im glad to use them again when I need quality body work.

Artistic is one of the few shops that is blessed for doing accident repairs on Teslas...and it shows. They were very clear and frequent in their updates (via text) and always responded to questions quickly. They worked well with my insurance (State Farm), including revisions to the estimate and coordinating the additional vendors needed for detail work. And when a part arrived damaged, they moved quickly to get it reordered and prioritized finishing the car once the new part arrived. Given the quality of the work and customer service, I highly recommend Artistic Autobody.

Artistic is truly an industry leader when it comes to the attention to me, my issues and expectations as a customer - i was closely listened to, understood and my expectations for what I needed the repairs to be on my $40K SUV was honored and delivered. I was treated as an important client whom artistic was personally invested in. The quality of work met my expectations upon initial delivery - rework by Artistic was not required. It is important to understand that the work completed was the rework of another shops work which satisfactory for the body work but terrible for the alignment and paint finish side which left our 10 month old vehicle less than pre-loss condition. The corrective work completed here remedied the poor quality finish workmanship and improved the body alignment issues. The vehicle looked the way it should have after the first repair by the primary shop nearly a year ago. I am extremely pleased with how artistic treated me and my concerns, corrected the work to provide a 99.9% pre-loss condition on the repairs, was efficient, courteous and accommodating. Artistic provides services to the level of quality that should be expected and due to USAA members.

Excellent work on my Tesla Model 3. They fixed the bumper where I got rear ended. The clear bra they replaced on the bumper was even better quality than the original I had put on! Billing through my insurance company was smooth.A nice thing about Artistic Auto Body is they make two appointments with you: The first appointment is to evaluate the car so they can order parts. The second appointment is to drop off the car for the work. The benefit of this process is the car gets completed very fast because they have all the parts necessary for the work.Excellent communication including texting, though I would have appreciated a follow up letting me know they wouldnt have it done until after Christmas (they said there was a chance it would be ready on time Friday but didnt follow up). Other than this minor inconvenience, I will definitely be bringing my car back should I need further work.

I brought my Jeep to fix a bump and a few other things. They always communicated with me and made this stressful process stress free. When I dropped of my Jeep it was a little dirty and had a tire low on air. I pick up my Jeep and smells/looks great! They even put air in my tire when they didn’t have to. Why would anybody here in the Portland area go anywhere else for auto body repairs? Everyone who works there exudes the owners (Terry) insistence on professionalism, care, quality, pride-of-work & pleasant attitude, no matter how large the job you present them. I experienced a personal touch from virtually everyone Ive dealt with there over the years. They are a long-term player that are here to stay, and they blow away the competition (some of whom I cant figure how are still in business if you read their online reviews.) Trust this outfit as much as you would your family, because to me they were.

Used this shop at the recommendation of my insurer, Progressive, after I was rear ended. Fantastic job, kind employees, looks brand new! I had 1 minor issue (just was something on the interior they forgot to check that I had asked about) they responded same day about it and fit me in to take care of it at my earliest convenience. When I arrived they jumped at taking care of the minor thing and it was done in a few minutes. Great service! Jason Lee was my service rep and he was very respectful and provided fantastic customer service during the entire process.

A small tree fell on my 2001 Isuzu Trooper in early December, during a windy day. It dented the hood, bent the antenna and took off the passenger side mirror. Artistic Auto Body was able to find all the parts necessary, some of them difficult to find because of the age of the Trooper. They were meticulous about detail and the repair makes the vehicle look better than before the tree incident. The entire process was handled in a professional and friendly manner, with frequent updates from Nick, the Estimator and included a picture of the process. Hopefully I won’t need their services again, but I will know where to go, if I do.

These guys as a class act. They took care of everything from soup to nuts. This wasn’t an easy despair as it required coordination with the local manufacturer service center, but this wasn’t a problem. They just handled it all. I would recommend and use them again.

Nick was a great tech rep to work with. I felt like he really had my best interests in mind. The work was great and they went above and beyond the repair itself. There was some minor scratch prior to the actual repair needed but I found they did a nice touch up job on it!

I will start this review with a disclaimer. I work in the industry and I have visited this shop a couple of times. Ive spent a couple of days here, learning from the people that work here how I can be better at my job.The goal when you fix a car should be to fix it the way that a manufacturer dictates, not how you fix every other car. At Artistic, they are the example in our industry of what this process should look like. I fix cars, I have children and I run an auto body shop in San Francisco. I am always looking to improve and get better. Artistic is not only the example I am striving for, they are generous with their time to try and improve the entire industry. Its a very special place!

NOT TRUSTWORTHY!! Back when I had my accident, I took my car here for really pretty minor body repairs. They did everything they could to total my ride. When I tried to get my car back they had completely disassembled it and told me it would cost a lot to put it back together. I think they have a racket selling totalled cars or something for profit, because it was obsurd how hard they worked to total my car. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!

My car was hit while in a parking lot, so i needed the bumper replaced. I was told by my regular car shop about Artistic Auto Body. Their website is very professional and easy to get around. Their customer service was exceptional, and their front desk was very nice and informative. The estimator I worked with, Nick, was also informative and updated me with emails and phone calls.I honestly had a much better experience with them than with my insurance company. So if youre worried about how your insurance company will be while getting your car fixed, go to Artistic Auto Body. They set my peace of my mind, and my car came back gorgeous. Honest and trustworthy staff.I brought my Tesla Model 3 here to get an estimate for a paint scratch repair. After inspecting the scratch that ran down the entire length of the car, they didnt think the scratch was deep enough to require a paint job. They suggested that the damage looked to only be in the clear coat, not the paint itself. They did a quick buff and polish, free of charge. Now you would never know the scratch was there. Good as new!The staff here could have easily charged me a small fortune and I would have paid it. Instead they took the honest approach, showing that they care about the customer, not just the money. I so appreciated the communication from artistic autobody. They let me know the status of the repair every few days and a secretary always picked up every time I called. When I picked up my car and noticed a few screws missing from my after-market license plate cover, my coordinator Nick personally fixed it right then and there. Awesome service!

Hands down one of the best body shops to take your car to get any body work/repairs done. From the beginning walking in the building I felt welcomed by the staff. The whole process was so smooth and painless. I was in and out in 30 mins for getting a quote. I dropped my car off on a Monday and got it back that Friday of the same week(the repair work was minimal and didnt require a ton of time). They had a rental car all set up for me ready to go. Eric was super easy to work with and sent me updates daily during the whole process of getting my car done. It was nice knowing where they were at in the process of fixing my car and even sent photos during the process.If youre needing any auto body work done, definitely take your car here!!! Excellent customer service, high quality work, friendly, professional, stand behind their work and my car came back completely detailed inside and out. The reason I gave them four stars rather than 5 is because it took three weeks before the work on my truck was complete. The damage was fairly minor so I felt a week would have been more than sufficient.

I recently experienced a hit and run in a crowded parking lot - Artistic Autobody was fantastic in helping get repairs! They worked directly with the insurance company, gave me regular updates, coordinated with the Lexus dealership to calibrate new sensors, and repaired my car as new. Highly recommend this place!

I have taken my vehicle in to a couple different auto body shops in the Portland metro area and Artistic will be the only place I go from now on. The quality of work was amazing. The vehicle ended up taking a bit longer than originally anticipated, but Rod communicated with me daily to provide updates. It took a few weeks before their first available appointment when I originally called, now I know why - they provide excellent work and are very popular. It’s worth the wait to make sure your repair is done correctly. They even painted over some small rock chips in my paint. The car was perfectly cleaned inside and out. All of these little details show how above and beyond they go. Highly recommend.

Artistic Auto Body has to be the most outstanding it its field. I have never had service (for any auto-related maintenance or repair), as they providedOn top of the faultless repairs, my car had been thoroughly washed and detailed! It was gleaming! Thank you for that.The staff kept me informed on the status of repairs and when my car would be ready for pick up.I will recommend Artistic Auto Body to anyone who requires auto body service. Wish you did other kinds of repairs!

Great experience! Follow up and weekly updates were amazing. A few years ago we had a small accident. We choose to have our car towed to Leif’s. I had to constantly call them to get an update. Not so with Artistic. I’d recommend them any day over Leif’s. Car looks better now than before the accident. Thanks Artistic!
