Not only did Holly efficiently(pricing compare, applying coupon, etc.) assist with the checking out process(as the store was about to close- she was patient and helpful), she also volunteered to help with loading the heavy vinyl plank boxes and other materials. Other employees contributed also and I appreciated it! Thank you Holly for your can-do leadership and good customer service/communication.

The ladies at the customer service desk on 10/28 from 6:05pm to 6:30pm could not confirm if they had an item I needed in store, even though I gave them the skew number. All they could do was “transfer me to the shelving department”. After being on hold for 19 minutes and being transferred back to the shelving department twice, it became apparent that no one was at the shelving department to answer the phone. The two ladies at the customer service desk said all they could do was transfer me and that they weren’t able to ask someone on the floor to walk over there and look and they were not able to walk over there and look themselves. In addition, they were not able to transfer me to another department. After it became known that I wasn’t going to give up that easy, the two ladies at the front desk from 6:05pm to 6:30pm on 10/28 decided to simply hang up on me. After that, they continued to hang up on me each time I called back…. I still do not know if the item is there or not…. Bummer

20 years ago I would have given Home Depot a 5 star review for excellent and knowledgeable staff - I have been a licensed General Contractor for nearly 30 years, so high praise. Today I rarely find an employee with any real expertise or knowledge in any area of home construction or remodeling. Go to a pro shop if you arent a skilled tradesperson.

They sold the refrigerator I bought while I went home to get my truck!!! (I had the receipt). It took five trips to the store before I finally left with one. Manager Greg was extremely helpful and resolved things to my satisfaction. Manager Paul just stared at the floor wishing Id just go away.

Helpful staff. Great selection of oops/mistint paints- perfect for side projects!Great options for any of your home diy needs. Behr paints are my new favorite because of the great coverage. We recently renovated 2 full bathrooms and added a half bath and purchased most of our products here. We used a white penny tile for floors and a beveled subway tile for shower walls.We always have much better experiences here than the other local home improvement store. Whenever I have the option, I prefer to shop here.

I rented a leaf blower for a charity project we were doing with church. The staff were quick, friendly and helpful so I was only there for a few mins to pick up and drop off. The leaf blower worked great.

Warning Poor Carpet installation service. Do not use home depot outsourced carpet installers. I canceled my order and had to pay a 20% re-stocking fee and was not allowed to switch installers. The installer rescheduled twice and was very rude on the phone. I paid in July and the installer kept pushing the date out to October. The installer was abrupt and hung up on my wife.

My rating here is mainly based on their customer service and the attitude of their associates. Never felt appreciated or welcome at this store, much-less at Home Depot. I only shop here for the variety of products they carry and their relatively sophisticated website and online ordering procedure.

My go to hardware store. I like that they open at 6am and have all the construction supplies I might need.

We checked out in Garden. We were next in line and it took forever. It was not the cashier but a customer trying to use self checkout! The cashier tried to help him but couldnt figure out what he had done to the machine.

I ordered hardwood floors to be installed. I paid for the floors and scheduled install dates.The install date was approaching and I called to confirm - they told me it would be delayed another month.Then the new install date was close so I called to confirm. They told me that I had come in an cancelled my order. Someone had written a detailed account of my coming in and cancelling this order. I did not do this! I was awaiting my floors and received no information whatsoever about any cancellations.Furthermore they said they refunded me the $2500 and in fact they had not! It took me hours on the phone to get my refund.Will NEVER work with Home Depot again in any capacity. They are completely unreliable, their internal communication is terrible, and they are overall unorganized and unintelligent.

I’ve been really disappointed by the customer service my last few visits to the store, and today they have lost my business. Many of the staff do not seem knowledgeable or willing to look for the answers to help with questions. In addition, this week I had a large board cut, and after confirming the length four times I got the piece upstairs in my home to put in place and it was still an inch too long. After calling the store I was assured I could bring the board back in to cut down again and should be able to get a discount for the hassle. The customer service desk told me there was no way to do a discount unless I bought something else, which I refused and restated what I was told on the phone. Another representative came over then it was suddenly *possible* to get a discount on the board after all. Never was there an apology for the inconvenience nor was I asked if they could do anything else, like help me move the giant board back to my car again. Customer service was inconsiderate and made me feel that I was being difficult for expecting their error to be made right.

Better than Lowe’s. There I said it. HD had all the parts I needed for my dryer hookup repair job and Lowe’s just didn’t. New self checkout is faster and easier. They provide a scan gun and you just shoot all your stuff in the dolly the roll right out. Pretty awesome.

Customer service nowadays is iffy at best. Never has been great. But, its Home Depot, its like McDonalds. I go there because I know what I want. lol

I had a horrible online experience with Home Depot. I ordered an air conditioner before the heat wave of 116 degrees hit the PDX area, the delivery date was set for later in the week before the heat wave arrived. My ac unit never came. So I called them because I had seen it hadnt shipped and they told me it was going to ship out later in the month and they would give me a discount for my inconvenience. Inconvenience meant my survival and my cats survival of excessive heat as over 80 people in my state died from that heat wave. My home exceeded 100 degrees, my candles melted, perfume evaporated, but I managed to make it by locking myself and my cats into a single room and kept it around 85-90 degrees. By the time I found out that my ac unit wouldnt arrive, I couldnt get another one. Every store was sold out. I even drove to local Home Depot and they couldnt help me. So my only choice was to endure the heat and hope my ac would come sooner than later. My air conditioner then was shipped with OnTrack a week later. Then my experience got even worse. Every day, the arrival date would change to the next day for over a week. I would call every day and be told the same old line. Its coming tomorrow. I opened several escalations by nothing changed. People said they would call me back after looking into it further, they didnt. After a week I asked if I could just go pick it up since the center where it was suppose to delivered from us only 28 minutes away. OnTrack told me they couldnt without Home Depots approval. So I called Home Depot and got a three way call going with them where I got their approval and OnTrack would not accept it, unless it was sent a specific manner. So I got it sent that way too. Still nothing. After countless hours on the phone, multiple disconnects, and tears of defeat and anger over weeks. I eventually gave up. I was able to get a refund from the ac that never arrived or that I believe was lost or stolen from the shipping center. It was so horrible, so much emotional toil. I have nothing to show for all my wasted time, my energy, the fact I had to endure such temperatures with my animals, and that not a single person I spoke with at either company cared enough to invest in my situation to ensure it was resolved. This was the worst experience in my life. The worst. I will never ever shop at Home Depot or use OnTrack again. No one cared about how I was treated, no one compensated me for my suffering or endless hours wasted trying to resolve the issues they created. This experience was traumatic.

The Home Depot customer service gives you peace of mind to buy your material. The associates are way more friendly and help better compare with Lowes, also excellent return policy!

This is a review of an online order completed by the Tigard Home Depot. I am a buyer for my employer. My agency needed refrigerator filters, I ordered 3 of them online from Home Depot. When I went to pick them up, $95 worth of filters, 2 of them were smashed with the ends broken. Unusable due to the fact that Home Depot shipped them in a plastic bag, not a box. You would think for $95 I could get a box to protect the filters, but no, not from Home Depot. I returned the broken 2 filters, and now have 1 that is intact. Complete waste of my time. Will never order anything for the business from this cheap outfit ever again.

Went in to buy new washer,drier and fridge would have been a cash sale but the man working that area was disrespectful, rude and made several comments about where is my husband as if a woman is not capable of making such purchases without a mans approval! I never expected to experience this in a store chain that I shop at weekly! I most certainly will NOT be going to this location ever again!

This is a fairly large location but always busy so selection seems to run thin here first and parking is nearly always a challenge. We tend to save this location as a last resort.

Its great - people are friendly, store is well laid out and it doesnt take long to checkout. The only drawback is that the tool rental is right in front of the store next to the exit, so sometimes it makes the parking lot a nightmare. Other than that, my favorite in town.

Exhausting, frustrating experience TRYING to complete our flooring that was purchased almost 4 months ago. I don’t understand how it’s legal to misrepresent and not follow through like this store has done. Beware if buying flooring from this store. My advice- DON’T. I regret not buying from a small independently owned flooring store with actual customer service and whom cares about their reputation and their customer’s satisfaction. What a mess.

It was okay but, I was looking for Zep products, found the aisle they were in, and they were scattered all over the place, I was about to give up, they should put the same product together that has the same name.

Ok this will be my only location I go to. My experience could have been horrible however Josh went above and beyond and really helped me when I was trying to get a carpet hallrunner and made it worth the extra travel time. He saved the day and did the right thing when I saw a discrepancy between prices with 0 complaint or argument.

Omar in the paint department helped me with some stain. He tested it out on a couple of sticks and was surprised at the color difference. This test helped me by the right one. Had he not done this I would have purchased the wrong color! The best part is when I got home and used it it was perfect! Thank you so much Omar!

If you have ever purchased a home you quickly get to know your local Home Depot staff and store layout. This Home Depot always has an excellent selection of items (that are kept well stocked), usually friendly staff that are quite knowledgeable and always is very organized and put together.I am probably at Home Depot at least 2 times a week, often times more like 3-5 during the summer to get all of my house projects done. This store is always so good with returns and replacements, I can always buy with confidants knowing that I can return anything that I didn’t use or that didn’t work out exactly as I would have hoped. Five stars for the most valuable store in the world for any and all home owners out there!

I went to the next check stand over and had no issues. Not appreciated and very uncool that home depot allowed this kind of behavior. I expected better. Standard Home Depot, Tigard location has helpful Milwaukee reps in store daily and good selection at the Tigard store since it is larger and even has a tool rental center too. Parking lot is big, but has bad flow, expect to get into a traffic mess during busy hours.

I honestly prefer Home Depot to Lowes, but theyre so similar for simple needs I cant say its worth the extra drive.Parking lot lighting is adequate at best. I was walking into the store at 5:02pm on the 17th of November (was already dark) and the was some damage to the pavement were it met the sidewalk right in front of the main entrance.After stepping into the damaged area and hurting my ankle it took some effort to actually see what I had stepped into.

There must have been some confusion about curbside pick up. I sent them a text with all the information on my order sheet. I waited for 15 minutes and never received a response. So I tried the number that was given to us for the locker. It didnt work. In had to go into customer service and get a new number. Then it worked. It would have been faster to go in and buy it. Good grief.

Long lines at cashiers low stock levels in some areas.

My husband and I went there around 5pm (Dec 27th). The employee on the plumbing section was extremely helpful. The one in the ceiling fan section needed more customer service training. This is the Sequoia Tigard branch.

All electric carts were dead.Thats totally inexcusable!

I loathe this place. Out of sheer desperation I came here and as expected got zero help from the less than helpful and untalented staff. Be prepared to improvise and be creative by yourself, you will get no other insights for your project here.
