This store was great. Clean, organized, well stocked and well lit. The staff was great -helpful and friendly.Completely different from the store in oxnard that was in total chaos, low on stock, and you couldnt get any help. I cant believe they are the same company

Usually pretty well stocked. The salespeople are nice, when you can find one. They try to keep the line moving, but you can only do so much when everyone is looking up coupons last minute.

The biggest JoAnn fabric store Ive seen. Lots of good merchandise for projects, outdoor and arts & crafts. The cashier was so nice to point out to me that the spool of thread I picked has a little crack at one of the ends, which will be a problem with the machine later on. Now, thats customer service 👍👍👍

Thank you to the heroes at Joann Fabrics in Thousand Oaks. I was able to order online (it showed that the item I needed was in the store) and pay online, and then they send me an email a couple days later when it was ready for pickup. I called when I was parked at the curb and they brought my purchase to my car. Thank you for staying open for all the dedicated mask makers during the coronvirus shutdown!

Stuff is stacked everywhere and not well organized. Prices are not clearly marked giving you a choice of getting in a long line to do a price check or the impossible task of finding an employee to check the prices. The employees are great, the issue is they store does not have enough of them working and the cashier lines are super duper long.Overall: The wife loves this place. For me it’s like a root canal that won’t end.

This store is so full of possibilities and promise. I love going here! The coupon thing drives me a little crazy though. There are so many and if you sign up for their mailing list you will get constant, I mean constant e-mails. Some odd things going on like the sewing machine needles are locked up as people steal them to give themselves tattoos ( that is what the girl told me) and they wouldnt let me have two, 1 yard pieces of material cut for a baby blanket as they say people return the material saying they cut it wrong.

Love this location, even when its crowded the line moves quick. Great friendly cashiers and stuff is amazing. Blake is the best coolest person that I ever had a pleasure to deal with!

I went in to buy fabric to make my own homemade masks (I honestly have zero knowledge about different types of fabrics), But Claudia was extremely patient, kind, quick, and knowledgeable . This place has a lot of great stuff for a good price. And the staff is pretty nice and helpful (when you can find them). But the floor and carts and interior is in need of some update. It looks dirty and scuffed up and well-worn. But if you can overlook that, its the best place to shop for crafts, fabric, frames and seasonal items.

They never have enough people on staff. There is always a huge line/wait time for cutting or checking out because its always one person on staff. Ive had lots of cuts really jagged/had to buy more fabric because there wasnt quite enough due to a cut being like an inch or two off. Im a very patient person but it seems like its always black Friday whenever I come in. The staff is usually nice, but they really need more people.

Although Joanns has a wide selection of yarn, I wish they had more yarn in the 1 through 3 weight category. Additionally, wish they had more pattern information for looming knitting machines. Love it here. The only thing that I wish was different is the time efficiency with one of the ladies at the fabric cutting station. I know she means well but she often talks more than needed, especially when there is a line. She often stops her work to finish her sentence and then forgets where she left off on measuring and counting. I come in often and have a pleasant experience most of the time. Its just that one thing that drags on longer than needed.

I went to JoAnns because I needed some Super Saver yarn to make beanies to donate to charities. They had a great selection of colors, much better than the Michaels near where I live. Ill go back there when I need more yarn

They have everything crafty. Great coupons as well. Open 7 days a week, awesome.

Bathrooms were gross. Staff was uneducated when it came to the products they were selling. Items are way overpriced compared to Michaels and Hobby Lobby. Shelves need to be restocked and front and face at night maybe? Im going to avoid this location from now on. Do better Jo-Anns!

We have been shopping for fabric here for the past 21 years. I hope they stay another 21 and more. I like their wide selection of fabric and other craft supplies. Their location is convenient across from Fallbrook Center. Their staff are nice. The bathroom can be improved, a bit on a funky side as of now, but the joy I get from shopping here is not diminished by it.

The thing I like about this Joanns is that its probably one of the biggest Joanns fabrics that Ive seen in a long time. Im originally from Simi Valley and the location out there doesnt have a lot of stuff to choose from but I can definitely say that this one is much more organized and has a lot more to choose from as far as the things that you are looking for.I would also like to mention that the staff is excellent.10/10

Ive been to many Jo-Ann Fabric locations from Nebraska to California. The Thousand Oaks, California location has had by far the best selection of decorating fabrics (drapery, bedspread and light upholstery fabric is what I was shopping for). I found good quality, good value, and a wide selection in stock, as well as a wide selection available for special order. I found the trims to be limited, but the fabric made it worth the trip to this store even if I went to another location for trims.

I needed fabric dye, this Joanns has a good selection. I wish that there staff would take you to where the item(s) are that you are asking about, instead of pointing to whatever direction the item(s) maybe in. It has been my experience the staff is often wrong.

Needed a special headband for a rock concert. They had so many to choose from. It was great. They seem to have a ton of arts and crafts.

I took my mother here so she could buy yarn and some knitting items. It had the items she was seeking and good prices.

I never leave upset. Usually find what I need. And cut counter moves at reasonable pace.

I needed canvases. Picked 7 for 25 bucks. Went to cash out and Jeff says, ya know, if you bring up Joanns online, you can get a coupon and get some money off this purchase. I did and he saved me 10 bucks, which in times like these, we need more than ever! Thank you, Jeff!!!

I usually avoid The Moorpark location because their employees have the worst attitude and are very rude. They avoid helping customers and when you able to catch one they typically give you the wrong information. I realize retail jobs sometimes deal with difficult customers but these women are the worst I have ever encountered. I have heard the same complaint from a few other people too. My husband was with me once and said he would never go back there. Unfortunately, Joanns is the only fabric shop around.

Friendly, and always has what Im looking for. Dont forget to Google the latest coupons on your phone before checking out.

Nice store! Fun. A little bit of everything. Doesnt have specialty or hard to find items. You need a coupon because prices are too high.

The layout is kind of hard to navigate but I have spoken with two different people who went above and beyond to be super helpful!

A larger, well stocked fabric store with a decent sized baking section and quite a bit of crafting materials, too. Also always have a large selection of discounted holiday decor. Everything you need for kids school projects, too.

This is a terrible place to shop if you expect service and helpful associates. Employees are overwhelmed by the lack of help. And forget trying to buy frames there after they shut down Aaron Bros.

The first word that comes to mind is lame. I asked one of the staff were I could find stencels. She looked at me with a blank stare and saidwhat is a stencle. Really? Overpriced, under staffed.
