Wilsons store- Thornton, Colorado. I bought 7 jackets, a bagpack, a pair of gloves, and two hats from the store. While making the purchase the lady at the counter (Tawanda) was very friendly. Since I had a lot of stuff that I bought, so when she was bagging the stuff, she suggested keeping the smaller stuff (like the gloves and hats) in the bagpack that I purchased. I had to shop more so I asked the lady to keep the shopping bags with her at the counter and she agreed. Half an hour later I decided to buy a different bagpack than what I had earlier purchased, so I went to the same lady and asked for an exchange, and she did, and kept the old purchased bagpack back on the showcase table without removing the gloves and the hats that I had bought. The next day I realized that, she never took out any of the purchased gloves and hats from the bag I exchanged and I called the store. I talked to three different people at the store, including the same lady and the manager. They all said, they cant find the stuff, the lady even said she doesnt remember any of that stuff ( which is weird because she specifically said it to me when I was buying the hats that, she wanted to buy this hat specifically and this is the last piece of this hat, but sighhh, because I bought it).The manager (Ross) was really rude on the phone, first of all they were really hesitant to talk, saying that they have a long line of customers and cant give much time on the phone, he also said- since they are very busy, its not their fault that they misplaced items. I asked for a refund and they said it is not their fault.I have $35 dollars of stuff that I purchased from the store, which is still at the store (which they will probably sell again to other people) and so here I am without the stuff and without the money.I dont usually shop, and the only reason I went to Wilsons leather is because my friends talked really highly about their products. I dont even own a car and live 40 minutes drive away from the store. I convinced another group of friends to go specially to Wilsons leather. Its not fair, about how the store people act so friendly and helpful when the customer is about to spend money on the products, and how they are completely hostile, rude and unhelpful when they are done with the transaction and are unwilling to solve issues.I either want the purchased gloves and hats back or I need the money refunded back in my account, because all of that stuff is still in the store, I saw the lady keeping that bagpack back for sale. And it is unlikely for anybody else to get to it, because even if somebody bought that bagpack, the salesperson is required to empty out the packaging, and recheck the insides of the bags during purchasing before giving it to the customer.I request to talk to someone sensible and at higher position in the sales department. I have never met a group of sales people being so rude and unhelpful.
Wow, what a positive experience. Tia was great and got me to buy an extra jacket without even trying - she was simply being genuine and helpful. I was also impressed by the other name brands in there like Guess, Kenneth Cole, DKNY etc. This will be my first stop for a jacket/coat in the future for myself, family, and friends. Tia is an amazing person with a great story. We need more Tia’s in the world.
They have good stuff but it is generally out of my budget. I stopped by as the store was having a closing sale. This one and the Colorado Springs store are closing so they had everything in sale for close to 80% off
Dont bother driving up to the outlets, this store seems to be no longer here.
