Received a voicemail with name and phone number.Called for several days. No answer. Even tried calling other departments. Sears does not answer any phone calls. Customer service is not what it used to be.Ended up having to call the call center.
Shout out to Holly! She has worked for Sears for 19 years and it showed in her customer service :) I came here to do a Lands End return (Sears will accept Lands End returns) and she knew exactly what to do, and was courteous and friendly.Regarding the store, it looks clean and well kept and is very quiet on weekdays.
This location is permanently closed now. Was a nice place. The staff that remained there at the end were awesome and really nice.
I just love this store so I ask people to please shop here, it has everything you can ask for. Better and bigger than a Walmart and Target, they have everything, its the biggest Sears store you can imagine.
Ordered a fridge for delivery here nov 8. Every month I got an automated email it was another month late. No one picks up at the store for merchandise pickup or appliance - it hangs up on you. Got through once by calling mensware and asking to be transferred. They said “don’t worry it’s coming this week” that was in December. It’s now mid March and I just cancelled my order.
Well there is not much to say about it anymore, store is closing and whatever is left is just not that big of a deal, although the prices are good on most of the items that are left.
I have being trying to get my fridge either fixed/replaced for months. Each time the technician stated he did not know what wrong. He left a screw out on the last appointment. I scheduled an appointment for November and kept getting messages to reschedule. I called twice in one week and they would confirm I had my appointment and someone would be there. Nobody ever showed up. I have asked for a number/email to speak with someone higher up and stated I would get a call back within an hour and never received a call. I bought the additional warranty which feels useless since it has taken months to get this fixed. I normally dont do reviews but I have had such a bad experience that I now do not want to purchase anything from Sears. At this point I just want my money back.
They are closing. Bought a couple of good deals. Feel bad for the employees. Automotive services are not closing and will continue there.
Nothing left here.. whatever was displayed for the dishwasher most of it was not available in stock and was given an option to purchase a floor model for most of them.. problem with floor models was they were pretty dented and there was still no price reduction too.. store hardly had any employees and almost looks like its on the brink of closing down just like most other Sears in Colorado.
The young girl that checked ( register 1 ) me out was rude! The SECURITY GUARD..lol was a joke! I tried to be polite and she just totally turned head away. If you are working in retail/ customer service.. you better have good people skills!!I am sad Sears is closing. It was my daddys favorite place to shop, that is where our parents bought all of our clothes from.
I have been to this establishment twice in one month. First experience was good, nothing exceptional but nothing bad to leave on a bad note. While everything was done at top dollar, because well.. theyre Sears. The second time I had... to come to this place I needed two new rims and new tires. I had a 2010 mustang, just plain stock tires. This need turned into a month long ordeal when I was quoted at the max two weeks. But they doubted it would need to take that long. They did first start out by calling me first thing to see what they can do and told me at this moment they found the highest cost but were searching for a cheaper option for me since I had worked with them before. Days would pass and I would not hear a word from them, if I called, I either would receive an answer of I dont know or thats not my job.Being a worker in retail, we were never allowed to tell a customer that we couldnt give them some sort of an update whether we go ask in the back real quick to get an update. But these people expecting me to pay a grand also believed, I suppose, that maybe I had to pay to receive updates. Regardless, if I got someone to answer, I would tell them to get someone to call me back. Never did. Here I am, a full time student and I work. Severely dependent on my car. But to these people they couldnt have cared less, and all the while their first quote of the highest cost turned into the lowest cost. Which looking back, I shouldve called them out and told them to put on the first rims they claimed to have found.I had even spoke with the manager. And if Sears ever reads this, they should know their Auto Center manager should not be in such a position. Barry was the only one to be remotely helpful or even doing their job. When I finally spoke with this manager, he argued with me at how he had someone talk to me two weeks ago and that if they didnt call me back I shouldve just been happy I talked to them in the first place! Then after saying that the employee promised to call me the day after, he then decides to ask my number to tell me that when they call they get a this number is not in service message. How was I talking to him then? This was turning more and more ridiculous. When the car was finally ready, a month later, I went to pay and the manager again was there to help me out. I had to use my parents account because I could not afford the highest quote they gave me from the beginning, wonder what happened to finding cheaper rims? He was obviously angry and frustrated at me, he looks at the papers to what they fixed and goes, We did all this.. wow! Shakes his head, just making me feel like I was the one wasting their time and not answering their calls, or even paying for repairs and his attitude. He then turns to a great man named Barry, throws his hands in the air and says, You deal with HER.. Wow. Well done, well said. Good work Mr. Manager. Have your employees correctly operate your place of management.Barry helped me out and more than anyone because he knew he had to compensate for his peers. He may have helped me out because he knew I was trying to get home to my Dad who is diagnosed with two types of cancer and he was also dealing with a loved one and cancer... I truly believe if Barry wasnt there to share his empathy with me, my experience would have been much worse. If anyone needs help Ive had better service and work done at discount tire or brakes plus.Should be noted that I have a just met a now friend that works within the retail section of this Sears, and are pushed to give 5 star ratings when ratings get too low for their location.
U.C. Sears has always been the place to get clothes ect. for my Family! Always happy to find quality items and great prices. Better, in my eyes than, The Other stores
Sorry to see the store is closing, has been a great location. Everything must go. Check it out before it is gone !
The store is closing and has lots of good sales.
I wasn’t thinking to myself the trip to Sears Grand store closing would be an emotional trip.. yet in kinda was .. I remember around when I first moved to Colorado and I was in high school.. it was kinda a vid deal when Sears opened up in Westminster Mall. By that point .. Sears had already experienced the beginning of its downward spiral... but the Westmister Mall Sears I remember was kinda looked at as the beginning of how Sears was trying to make itself more modern and appealing . They invested a lot of money into the Sears at mall and it was my first job living in Colorado. I has co workers that became close friends for many years from that job. Going into this one of the last Sears to shop their going out of business sale stirred up some good memories .. and it always makes me a bit sad when something I know to have been a good thing for me.. wouldn’t be around much longer.. I can easily imagine today’s employees also having co workers they are friends with .. how much they might really enjoy their lives, who they work with and going to work everyday could be not seen or felt in a negative light.. I know it wasn’t for me..Another part that’s hard for me to see when a store is closing down is a loyal employee .. still folding your clothes for you . . believing in its label.. folding your shirt like it’s still worth 34.95 even though you got it for 90 % off. At that moment you see sometimes employees love their companies more than just for the money.. I mean they wouldn’t fold your shirt like it has value .. ignoring the discount - unless they believed that the value of where it’s from will always be worth more than the money that was spent to purchase it. That shirt is always worth folding - as it should be . .Aside from the emotion .. I was a bit disappointed with the promotions as I didn’t feel they were really making me want to buy. I saw in bedding there were some sets 60 % off .. but than I looked at the original price . $119 for that .. I could fine quality two times better than that and receive the same # of items in a set for $49.99. Now if these sets were normal priced and at 60% off .. different conversations . But these sales didn’t really seem like sales to me because the original prices were extremely overpriced .All in all.. ok experience.....
They are closing and have limited stock, but the staff is trying to offer the best service despite this.
Sears is closing, great deals on remaining inventory. Mostly 70% off.
Store was pretty empty no shoppers but great selection on items and good customer service. A little pricey but sale items were a bargain. A good place to shop..
Good customer service but its starting to look empty.
Staff is super sweet. Sorry to see this location closing.
Not a surprise that Sears is failing if corporate attitudes match this store. Went in to buy a saw, was told they could sell me the floor model, that was damaged! They offered 10 % which equalled $50 to replace a fence that is $100+. The old manager kept his distance and refused to actually talk to a customer. This is why a giant like Sears is failing
This used to be my favorite spot to buy tool to fix my cars but it seems like they are near close. Store is practically empty
Visisted their Tire center and bought tires from them. They did not have the specific ones I needed (Kumho Grugen HP71) for my RAV4 and they order it for me. They guaranty their work so if you have issues you can go back for re balancing. Just make sure after you drive it for a few miles recheck the air to make sure is up to the specs and your good to go!
Its been 4 months and no dishwasher, and apparently nothing they can do. Yeah right
Store is dirty. Their merchandise pick up is slow.
Oh man do not order appliances from them. My sister ordered hers in September to be told it would take until November 21st. They call the night before to change her delivery date to the 7th and still they call they cancel again. We ordered freezers and it happen to us so we cancelled those and had gotten them the next day from walmart. Horrible customer service.
Great deal on a baby crib. They are going out of business 😏
Good deals on all kinds of clothes and tools
Best place for all your car needs! Kind and courteous staff! Thank you Sears Auto Center!
We were here on Black Friday getting a tire changed. The staff in the automotive area were very nice and helpful. While we were waiting for our tire to be fixed, we browsed around the store. We found a couple of good deals in the jewelry area too good to pass up.
Me and my husband had some issues with the Why not lease it program. Two associates from this store just went way and beyond there limits to make it all work. We greatly appreciate the patience and hard work from them. Greatly satisfied with customer service at this location.
I really like this Sears. They have a cute selection of children’s clothing. That’s usually what I shop for the most. However, they also have the Craftsman line, and other appliance related items too! I’d recommend you stop by!
The employees dont pay attention
Super sad that Sears is closing! 70% off everything! Get there while there is still merchandise!
Theres some great sales right now since they are clearing out a lot of inventory, but not a lot of selection since they are clearing out inventory. Still, employees were friendly and helpful even though we showed up 10 min before closing time.
Store is closing and getting rid of all remaining inventory; store is 90% or more empty and not much of anything left to select from.
Close to my house! Always clean.
Okay, the visit itself was fabulous. Joel was awesome! I got in and out in record time with items I ordered online and came in to pick up. The issue I had was NO ONE WOULD ANSWER THE PHONE so I could ask about one of my items I was waiting for. I called multiple departments (I think about 6) and no one in any department would answer the phone. This was in Thornton, CO. If not for that, that would have gotten a 5 star!
Sears is a complete joke! No wonder no one is ever there anymore. We bought a fridge almost exactly 4.5 years ago. It stopped working last week. We called 2 local repair companies and they both told us this make and model have a problem with the compressor and we should call Sears directly. Called Sears, they told us it would be about a week before they could get a tech out. Of course, were frustrated because we had a lot of food - I had JUST gone to the grocery THAT DAY! There response...dont you have an extra fridge??? As if everyone has a backup. My husband then drove to the store hoping he could get better help there. Nope! We were told to call the service line again. So we did that AGAIN! Today the tech shows up and tells us that yes it is in fact the compressor. However, WE have to pay his labor fee! WTH??? Seriously??? Told him we understand its not his fault but no thank you. We are now buying a new fridge from Home Depot - a company that has always treated us well. Stay away from Sears!!!
This has been a good place to shop. Sad to see empty shelve and limited stock now
Large store, everything is very spread out. Prices are ok but anything of quality is limited or obsolete.
Very sad walking through a once great retail icon gasping its last breath. What was particularly peculiar was the discounts werent as great as I wouldve expected.
Warranty battery replacement. Tyra was awesome. In and out in about 15 minutes!
I came here for a tire rotation and an oil change. They didnt have seats in the store or a shuttle, no big deal, I Ubered home to wait. I was told to come back because my vehicle is ready but when I got here it was not. I dont know how such an easy disconnect can be made... all the person at the register had to do is make sure she had the keys where in her hand and my vehicle is parked out front before you make me pay for another Uber the trip to still have the wait another 30 minutes before my car was done. Very annoying. Oil change is overpriced as well. Staff was polite and helpful.
Going out of business! Ive been expecting this for several years. Been going downhill since the 80s. They really suck, hard..
I was there to exchange a car battery. I thought the battery was about one month past the expiration date but the associate told me that the battery was still under warranty! That made my day. So i got a new battery with no money involved. I like doing business with Sears. I didnt do any shopping in the store, I just visited the auto department. I like the tires there too. Associate was very nice and helpful.
Going out of business so limited inventory.People still very friendly.
Fast in fast out on replacing light bulbs on suv rear end.
For a going out of business sale there were high priced items everywhere.
Sad its the only one left in the greater Denver area
Ordered some things online for instore pickup. Employees were helpful, quick, and friendly. About 60 seconds from sign In We were headed out the door. Even loaded into a cart for us and offered to take to the car. Great service!
Purchased a Mason Motion Love seat and Sofa on February 22, 2017 PAID FOR THEM CASH AND IN FULL delivery was SCHEDULED for March 3rd made arrangements for some one to be home on this date and guess what I receive a call on that day saying my delivery has been CANCELED!! They RESCHEDULED for the 22nd of March once again I make arrangements at work to be OFF that day and guess what the night before I receive another call telling me my order has been CANCELED AGAIN!! They RESCHEDULE for tomorrow April 5th once again I SWITCHED MY WORK SCHEDULE with co worker to be OFF this day and guess what I just received another call with them telling me my order is AGAIN CANCELLED and that it can be RESCHEDULED for possibly the 15th of April!! As you see I got rid of my old couches since 2 days before my delivery date trusting I would be getting my new ones and yet almost 2 months of sitting on the floor or kitchen chairs waiting on them to deliver my furniture!! I call the store to get an accurate explanation and they only say we are SORRY we dont know what the delay is we will email the delivery company and see what they tell us because ONCE WE SELL SOMETHING AND HAVE IT SCHEDULED FOR DELIVERY IT IS NO LONGER OUR CONCERN!!! This is RIDICULOUSE and if I dont receive my stuff before this weekend I will go to the media and have them bring out the horrible service they have here!!!
Like road kill on the side of the road, picked pretty clean.
I have not been in a Sears in years and with their problems I figured would not with that much merchandise to on the shelves. What a surprise, stocked very well and priced at expecially good quality items from clothes to appliances. Hope they stay open and people find they are as I did. SUPER!!!
Going out of business sale was great
I like Sears but they are not very busy I really like the store but I think they need to let there employees to be considerate to there customers the appliance dept. The last 2 times went in they just sat there on there phones and did not ask if I needed help I still bought and the cash register lady just mean but I still like Sears good deals
WorthlessAbsolutely impossible to work withAutomated call service that makes you want to pull your hair outRefuse to help refuse to give you a supervisor and lied to me wont identify themselves and gave me a fake nameSoooo frustrating
Very helpful, needed a blade for a band saw n they found the right one I needed
Do not buy any appliances at Sears they are very incompetent, they are not interested in repairing any appliances. They know its a sinking ship!! all they want is to sell while its still up float.Ive been waiting for 5 weeks for them to come look at my fridge. They try to fix my washing machine and left it making even more noise.Take it from me go to Home Depot or Lowes anywhere else where its not a sinking ship..
Store closing sale!! But the price is not very attractive.
Store shelves are barely stocked. Bare spots on the shelves. Tools no longer made in the United States. Prices are fairly decent. Store is clean whenever I shop here, then again the store never has many customers. The store floor is well lite and comfortable. The cash register system is very, very slow. There are times it takes longer to pay than it does to shop. The biggest bright spot is parking. Never have I had a problem finding a parking spot.
Sears store closing sale is not a good deal on appliances. A floor model clothes washer theyre selling as a reduced clearance price is $80 more than buying it new from their Sears website! And on the website, $79 will get it delivered. Their clearance appliances have to be picked up.
Always stocked with what we need
I went way out there and they told me they didnt have what I was looking for a real 👎bad trip
Store has great deals and never crowded.
It is a Sears store. They had a couple pairs of all cotton pants that fit our son OK. Standard store with several things. Pity so many have closed. I may use this place again in the future.
Bob Marette was very very helpful when we went to get prices on dryers and washers. He took personal interest and was very patient. I am delighted that sears has employees that are genuinely interested in there customers. We will go back to Bob for any future appliances.
I liked the Sears on Colfax better which is now closed down for good. It had a better clothes selection than the new Sears on Washington. This drive was outrageously long and my GPS took me to a toll road instead of I25 to get back to Denver.
Very nice new sears grand store staff is nice.
Went to see if they still had their baby stuff because the baby wipes in my car froze into a solid useless block. They got rid of the grocery stuff they used to have and turned it into a mattress area. Asked if they had anything like that and the employee seemed put out I was asking. Grabbed something else and no cash register lights were on so me and another customer tried to see how to check out. Another staff member said we could check out at the register with the employee playing on her phone, I said they should probably turn the light on and she ignored me. When I got to the register the cashier played on her phone while waiting for the receipt to print Not impressed at all with this location. It used to be so much better there.
Lots more stock than the last time I was there
They really didnt have anything the Store is bare not impressed it used to be a really good store.
No new things, no spare parts, just a big box store, waiting to close. Used to be the best.
Ive had a sears card so every time I pay it off at the end of the month I get coupons so one day i decided to use thoss so i shopped over the 60$ in tools to at least get 10$ off turns out i was 8$ short to use the coupon knowing well enough i had about 70$ worth of tools not including tax. I just used all my points paid off my card closed my account with them for good.
Horrible store. The only department that was ever any help was Parts. Now that is online only. The gal that ran parts should have been put in charge of the whole store. She new her stuff and was great with customers. What a complete disaster Sears is now.
Great experience but obviously closing down is in their future. Makes me sad to see such a prolific business going away due to big box hardware and clothing outlets. Hope Im wrong. Their parts department is no longer available. 😒
Nobody answers the phone drove there to find the Parts dept was gone. It was the best place in town for parts. It would be nice if someone answered the phone so we didnt go to the store for nothing. What a joke Sears is the owner of Sears must be an idiot.
They are closing for good
Misplaced my receipt (totally my fault) i knew the exact time which i made my purchase what cash register i paid at and which cashier it was and what amout i paid. All i wanted to do was get the right boot because i ended up with two left feet. One lady told me to talk to the cashier and see what she could do so i did and she said i could get the right boot. Came back and the first lady was there and said not with out a receipt and that she had looked but couldnt find anything. I find it funny to think she looked for my receipt while standing at the register with the nice young lady who was allowing me to get the right boot. Customer service keeps customers coming back and this was an overall bad experience for me.
Bought a refrigerator that was delivered 60 days after purchase due to new home not being finished. Delivery people brought new water supply line with them that was included with it. Because it was over 45 days they wouldnt take it back. The salesman should have know the line was included. I wont shop at Sears anymore. They can go ahead and close their doors permanently.
They are going out of business at this location I got some tools at least marginally small discount but not as big as I thought a going out of sale would have been..
Great deal on chest freezer. Original pick up date was not met. Then, the second pick up date was botched as well. They were unwilling to deliver the item after they missed two deadlines. Truly disappointing customer service.
I Got my car worked on and I was so pleased with how pleasant and helpful everyone was. Its refreshing to still have a place to get your car fixed without the haggle. Raymond and Tyra made a horrible car issue seem easy and no big deal. Helped me because I am clueless to cars. Thank you.
Their shop installed new tires, but refused to re-calibrate the Tire Pressure Monitoring System on my vehicle. Told me to come back another day... after charging outrageous amounts for mounting & balancing!?
Usually find good deals on kids clothing. Very limited this visit. Was looking for toddler boys khaki pants. None! Only jeans and a plethora of shorts.
I went in this morning around 8:30 to get an oil change and tires rotated on my truck. I asked the attendant how long it would take. He said a couple of hours. He then suggested to make an appointment for this afternoon because he had an opening at 3pm (kudos). So I agreed. Came back at 2:45 and a different attendant said that it should take about 1 hour. Came back at 4 and asked if my truck was ready. He said the truck hadnt been in the shop yet. I asked him how long would it take to get it in the shop and the service done. He said about a 1/2 hour or so. They pulled the truck in around 4:30. At 5:00 I asked again, how long was it going to take to complete the job. He said they just started. I went on and told him that I had to pick up my wife at 5:30 and can they complete the job faster. He handed my keys and said there was no way we can finish the job in 15 min. I grabbed my keys and said a derogatory remark and walked out. Bottom line, I was feeling ill, felt like I wasted most of my day and worst of all, didnt get my truck serviced! Extremely poor service/management. Oh by the way, there was another customer there complaining that she had been there for 3 hours for just a simple battery replacement. I do not recommend anyone taking their vehicle for service there.
The store was nice, orderly, and there was no crowds or lines. They have a huge appliance section, tools and clothing. I bought some things on sale, which were bogo, but basically they just doubled the regular price. I was going to get an Easter dress for my daughter, but there were only a few that had the spring time look I wanted. Burgundy or Silver for an Easter dress? Weird. Also they were $40. No thanks.
They’re closing down.
The front staff were hard to find and hard to distinguish from the few customers. They werent very helpful, but we eventually (from wandering around and incredibly vague staff gestures) found the back area where you pick up online purchases. The order fulfillment process was very efficient and the fulfillment staff were friendly and helpful. The toolset we got is a quality product.
Beware buying anything that might ever need service! This place is a nightmare!Bought a water softener with warranty, can NOT get service on it. This has gone on 7mths with repeated service calls, servicemen not showing up parts not coming in, being out on hold for 30 minutes with no one every answering!Do Not purchase from this company!! They no longer have customer service and do not stand behind their warranty. We have an appliance that is 1&1/2 yr old that is worthless,We cannot get any help but sent from one service prompt to another. From one service representative to be put on endless hold!
Kind of Empty didnt have too much there
