Really nice store, Cinnabon inside, hot deli and large beer cooler with large selection of beer, friendly staff

Not a single area open.Its 9am and no Cinnabon or breakfast.Theres nobody at the breakfast subs area.They even have a hot dog in the hot dog area.I count 7 employees working and Not a single person is making breakfast?Sad to see how this is going to be in a couple more years.

WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT— I’ve been a customer since opening day, always loved this store. Clean and always stocked, tons of amazing cashiers, they always greet and thank me, never forgetting to make a little small talk.

The customer service here is a breath of fresh air! I went into this Mavericks on Colorado when I was turned away from the conoco next door that I had been going to for years. I was on empty, had $12 in change, and had to make it to work the rest of the week. I talked to a worker named Aaron who, instead of just turning me away, asked his manager if it was ok that I pay in change. The manager Julie said yes with no hesitation and even said that they will never turn down any kind of money. They pulled out their money scale, the manager helped me separate my change, and it ended up being 35c more than I thought.Times are hard right now for people and they didnt make me feel bad about my situation. This is now where my family will be filling up 👍 a mini van and my husbands ford expedition! Thank you Julie and Aaron for the great customer service and for your understanding. 😁

Love the gas station part and used to love the BonFire grill but, the last couple times Ive gotten the tacos, most recently Sunday. My tacos were completely plain. Only plain, non seasoned meat on a tortilla. Very disappointed in the BonFire part of things.

Good spot to stop in for various snacks, eats, etc. when filling up the tank!Theyve got a handful of things you wont find in most convenience stores, so I definitely go out of my way just to stop by from time to time.Gas prices are typically on-par with other local gas stations, plus they offer an Ethanol-Free version, which is nice for some!

This is the best gas station Ive been to. Ill drive the extra 5 miles out of the way just to come here. Clean, friendly service, and best gas station coffee Ive had anywhere.

I was waiting in line while the man in front of me paid for his stuff the cashier and him were having a little conversation about the dispensary across from them getting robbed and the cashier replied to the man “I hate to say it but good” like she was implying the dispensary getting robbed was good. I’ll never go here again

I visited the store this morning and yes, I was in a rush to get to an appointment. The first line I was in, was very slow, not because of the staff but because the customer was a little older and slower paced. The gal working the second register was moving quick so I jumped into her line. You know how it goes, when your in a rush it seems like everything slows down. Again, this was not due to the employee but to the slow pace of the customer. But then I noticed that the employee recognized I was in a rush and seemed to slow down purposely, almost delaying the exit of the customer in front of me. In any case, perhaps she is just providing excellent service to the guy in front of me.. Finally my turn, gave her my money, she returns my change. I say thank you, have a great day, she didnt respond. So I again say, thank you, no response. In fact she doesnt acknowledge me at all. So I say maam, are you ok, are you upset with me? She starts yelling, I ask for the supervisor, and as I am discussing her rude behavior, the attendant is loudly discussing the situation with other customers. I leave the store, and take a few hours to shake off the bad experience and self reflect on what I could do better. I call the store to discuss the situation and the manager states, this is one of our best employees so I had to have done something. She then went on to say that the attendant was upset because she felt that I interrupted her. Ok, should I work on having more patience, I think so... However, this gal is in the service industry, she should be able to handle a fast paced position and treat all customers with the same courtesy. As a customer, when you say thank you or have a great day it is to acknowledge and appreciate the interaction. When an attendant does not acknowledge the customer, it promotes negativity. The success of a company starts with one customer, the failure of a company also starts with one customer. Maverick, is a great store, but so were many others that are no longer in business. Invest in training your team in conflict management it may go along way.

Ive only had good experiences with the early morning staff the rest are there just to be there it seems like. I try to only come here for gas because they are always out of everything I buy. If you can go to the seven eleven on the other corner.

Ive been to several in other states and they are all done beautifully inside and out. Love the murals all over the inside and the gas choices outside.

Huge and extremely clean facility. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Lots of fueling space for large vehicles. There is a grill located inside that serves street tacos, there is a Cinnabon and so much more!

Staff were very friendly. Only place in the area we have found cheesewiches. I hope they will carry more flavors in the future!

Love Mavericks, live the cinnamons! Employee working tonight 2-11, not so much. Im so sorry you have to work at Mavericks or if I was inturrpting you trying to pay for my gas. The attitude is not needed since I didnt have one with you. Sucks your job is so stressful you have to act that way towards customers! Maybe you should find a job that makes you happy!

Mavericks blew me away with how big it was the wide selection included not only a Cinnabon, a pizza place, coffee, drinks, gas station food, and prices are comparable to most grocery stores staff is friendly and upbeat, I wish there was one closer to me. An all around great place.

Cashier dude was good. However, for lack of a better word... The youngish lady in the kitchen didnt want to make any pizza, was complaining to another co-worker. Didnt have any cold sandwiches. Didnt want to make a breakfast burrito. She was having a terrible morning. Im going to give them another chance to redeem them selves. Otherwise Ill be calling Chuck Norris!

Refreshing gas stop with a Colorado look and feel. Good food and has a variety of coffee.

So damn happy these guys are in Thornton. Cinnabon is a game changer here in Thornton. Havent tried those street tacos from bonfire yet but looks delish.

Went in today to get a piece of pizza and 5 of the workers were bsing to each other around the pizza ordering counter. I stood there and stood there while they completely ignored me. Finally one of them said I think somebody wants to order then they all dispersed to their own areas. The pizza lady was nowhere in sight. I was here before and another lady who made pizza was very snotty like I was bothering her while she was doing absolutely nothing. Horrible customer service Im only giving a one-star because it wont let me give no stars. The only good thing about the store was the trees inside.

Good prices and milkshakes. Its a cool hangout spot for whenever we play basketball across the street.

Used to be a great place to get food but the Maverik on Chambers Rd has gone to pot. Hotdogs have been nonexistent the last 3 times I have been there and the condiment bar needed serious cleaning.

I Don’t recommend applying / working here did one day of training and was never called to continue after. Waste of time and the turnover rate here is highly ridiculous for a newer gas station. You’re better off seeking employement elswhere. Seems like the employees are over worked and under paid. Soon as I was interviewed a former walked out and quit. Don’t even bother peeps!

Awesome station but these pumps take way too long to fill up. I get the ethanol free and it literally takes me 10 mins to fill up a 26 gallon tank.

The empolyees here are AMAZING!! My 3 small kids and I ran out of gas close by so I called to see if, by chance, they had a spare can we could borrow. The empolyee who answered was sooo nice and said he would look in the back. Unfortunately they did not have one, but he thought another empolyee had one in his car. So he called him right then to ask. Luckily for us he did have one and said he would bring it right over. When we arrived to the store everyone greeted us so kindly! They all said they were sorry we were having such a rough day and had the can ready. They even walked outside to the pump to give me the change from my pre pay! Seriously awesome people!! Thanks you guys!

The place is huge! It was quite clean and the staff was friendly. However, certain things were not stocked very well. Especially the lunch/prepared foods cold case and other sections, and the Cinnabon was closed by 6 pm with no prepackaged boxes available for sale. That was very disappointing! The hours are too short, especially if they do not have packages to sell after closing. Also, when they were open, they did not have at least half if the items posted on their menu, and at least once, it barely looked like they were open even though it was during their regular, short hours, and there were at least 2 employees visable. The couple of times I interacted with the Cinnabon employees, they seemed pretty confused and clueless. I do hope this is just because they are new, and that these issues will be resolved soon.Sunday morning, probably around 11 amish, I went in for some Krispy Cream donuts. But there was at most 6 donuts left and they consisted of only original glazed or sugar coated. It was disappointing. But I was able to get Cinnabon, although they only had the original, none of the minis or anything else on the menu. And no explanation or even hardly comprehension of why or what I was asking for. I then asked for 3 of the originals, I was stared at blankly, and had to repeat may I have 3 please? The boy responded Uh, 3? Fumbled around and finally managed to place them in a box. At least one was very smooshed and deformed. The box was sticky and the employee didnt speak to me or make eye contact at all for the rest of the time I was there.I went to the front register to pay and was charged the same amount of what a 4 pack costs. It would have been extremely nice to have been made aware of this back when I had ordered from the boy.The service, friendliness, cleanliness, and competency of the Cinnabon part of the store needs a LOT of help! More and better training is desperately needed! So much in fact that I may not make another purchase there until I can see a very big improvement.The rest of the store is overall pretty decent. I do feel like there is a lot of empty space and think that adding more types of product would be a good business move.I am disappointed that many of the products are quite a bit more expensive than the Conoco right next door. Also, I am not aware of any type of loyalty card avaliable. If there is one, the employees need to let the patrons know about it. And if there is not, I think it is something that should be implemented. Personally I would be more likely to frequent the establishment of there were.Overall the store is very beautiful, very big, clean, and all the staff except the Cinnabon staff is quite good.Im hopeful to see some great improvements in the near future. They definitely have plenty of opportunity for expansion and competitive growth.
