Excellent customer service and knowledgeable staff. I go here quite often and will continue to go. They even manage to get some of the more rare video games which is nice. Great trade in value on video games also. Ive traded with them a few times and have always received a very fair deal.
Best comic/hobby/game and everything else store! Staff is knowledgeable and active in the community. Our family only shops here! There is no better!
One of my favorite stores. 4 star because they do tend to hire socially inept people. The owner(s) have and always has been great to me.
Friendly and welcoming staff, it truly feels like they care about each customer who walks through the doors. I have been to many comic and card stores in the denver area and I want more comics is by far the one I want to give my business to repeatedly. I can not give enough praise to this place.
Great selection of comics and books, and friendly and welcoming staff. Very laid back and welcoming to veteran comic readers and new readers. A bit Pricy but not uncommon. Will Absolutely return again
Every time Ive gone here the workers have been super nice and chill. Everything is also organized really well, and Ive yet to have an issue finding what Im looking for
This used to be my favorite comic shop in Colorado but their customer service has gotten worse and worse. Drive the extra 20 minutes to Boulder and go to Time Warp. This is what I will be doing from now on.
Best shop in the Denver area. Extensive back issue catalog and fair pricing on new ratio issues.
Dont waste your time. Go to a LCS where they want your business. Not these jerks. Called twice to have them hold a book for me. The first time under my first name and the second time I used both names. Both times, after an eighteen mile trip one way, they couldnt find the books they supposedly saved for me. No thanks to Todd.
A smaller comic store thats local, friendly and always willing to help, loved this years free comicbook day!
I love this place so does my son. Fun and friendly people
Nice store! Its BIG and spread out. We will definitely be back.
Love this place! The staff is awesome. A great selection for its size. Its also tucked away in a corner so its usually pretty quiet. It can get busy but its atmosphere is ever peaceful.
Hands down the cleanest, best laid out comic place in Colorado. Very thoughtful and organized. Prices are mostly fair. Its top 3 for price.
Came to check this place out with my service animal. I was asked to leave and refused service, for having a disability and a service animal to accommodate me. This came directly from the owner, Sean Anderson and Todd. I will never return to this business.
I picked up a back issue that said $10, bring it up the front the owner checks EBay on his mobile and says ‘$60’. I wasted almost an hour in the back issue bins just to do the owners job for him. No apologies from him. Never going back. Greed is a bad thing in retail.
One of the people working the magic counter is the one of the rudest people I have met. He is unwilling to help and seems to want to only get people out of the store. I highly recommend not visiting this shop and going to other local game stores where they care about their customers and the games.Edit in response: I was never told about a kiosk, and was told to find the website at home and come back in a few days. Also this has not been a single visit, on many occasions I have felt unwelcome and unwanted in the store.Second edit: DO NOT TRUST ANY RESPONSE FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY MAKE UP STORIES TO APPEAR IN THE RIGHT! Several reviews have had the same complaint. Please support LGS that care about the community and customers, not this place.
Very clean establishment, helpful staff, huge selection of various comics, games, puzzles, and more
Incredibly helpful. The magic the gathering selection is dope and they have things I havent seen since the 90s.They have employees that want to help and are ready to answer any questions you have. This is further than my local game store but the service and prices are legit.
As I entered this store for the first time, I wondered if it would live up to its name. Well, it did have more comics, by several different metrics, than the usual comic shop. Lots of back issues, lots of trades, lots of hardcovers and omnibuses. Lots and lots. This shop is fifteen minutes almost due north on I-25 from the Mile High Comics Mega Store, and it even surpasses THAT gigantic store in one important way: more new comics. Comic shops dont carry many new comics anymore. They carry the new ones their hold-slot subscribers order and then a few more generally, but its simply not cost-effective to carry a full selection of new issues very week. I Want More Comics carries a whole lot of new comics. Browsers and casual readers, left out in the cold by other stores, will be quite happy here. This shop may not be a mega store, but it is quite large, with an expansive gaming area in the back that was very busy when I visited. The back issues are plentiful and well-organized, and the prices seem fair. Everything is clean and orderly (even the restrooms!) and the store seems welcoming to women, girls, and kids of all ages.Theres some original comic art on display - nice! - and lots of interesting toys. There is a row of collectible art portfolios, including some rare works that I havent seen for more than twenty years.I have a few minor complaints. Very minor! In some spots, the lighting between the back-issue longboxes and the bookshelves is too dim. The longboxes themselves are packed so tightly it was a bit hard to look through them. Finally, the boxes are on the floor. It was hard for me to kneel and stoop, again and again, to look for the back issues I wanted. Well... I realize these are all old guy complaints. Maybe comics is a young persons game!Still, I enjoyed my visit, and found several comics I wanted. I am happy to recommend this store to other comics and gaming fans.
Seemed like a run-of-the-mill comic book store but I was turned away with my 18 pound support dog(in a carrying bag) because their landlord doesnt allow pets. I really dont know if thats true or not, but when I asked to have the landlords name they feigned ignorance. A manager doesnt know that? Why not let the landlord take the heat? Dont be dodgy with your policy, stand up for it if you believe in it and then let the landlord argue with the customer. As soon as you start getting indirect with answers things look fishy.
Great selection of new issues, back issues, variants, trades, collectibles, and more.Only reason I dont give it 5 stars is that the atmosphere can seem uninviting sometimes compared to other local comic book shops in the area.
I started collecting Comics and cards when I moved here from Arkansas. 91 - 97ish. Everything I had was lost to fire and Dad did want to get them out of storage. The Moment I stepped into the store the inner me knew where I was. Friendly informational staff great selection and far pricing. I go about 2 - 3 days a week. If Jeers was a comic book store. Then this would be it.
The best comic book store around, hands down. They also have gaming merchandise, and records!
Ive only ever been here for trading card(the 9 slot pages) and noticed they had PS3 games which the games I found were less than what I had seen on eBay. Had no issues and it was a neat little gem 💎 of a store.
Sean was very helpful, informative, patient and friendly in helping me find games for my two sons. I was very surprised about the selection, fair prices and completely made my boys happy campers tonight. All the games we bought tonight worked and we will definitely be returning customers! Thank you I Want More Comics!
Lets save paper and buy digital. If Im going to get taken for a fool, Id rather not go through the hassle of being there physically. Words of advice to owner - Just because others are doing it or because you can, doesnt mean you should or its right.
No multiples of back issues. I couldnt purchase 2 issues of book from 2017. It had Sam Wilson Captain America on it so they mustve thought it was hot but its an cover price book.. They just make up prices and rules as they go along
I just discovered this place and its my new favorite! They have a great selection of comics and unique collectable, hard to find toys.I really like how organized the store is, makes easier to locate the comics you are looking for to complete your selection.Highly recommend! Ill be back... ;)
Awesome selection. Great staff, friendly and very helpful. Definitely recommend
Be prepared to wait for the guy at the register to look online and give the books you want to buy the current price. Never I. 43 years have I had someone attempt to raise the price of comic books at checkout. I walked out and left 100 bucks worth of comics on the counter. Never going back.
Great place to find what you are looking for.
Best magic: the gathering, board game and comic shop that I know of. Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff
Came here to support a local comic shop during the pandemic. Bought issue #1 for $3.99. Issue #2 is now marked up 3x over. When I asked why, because they are selling for $20 online. Your gouging your customers when all we try and do is support you? Ill go digital before I step foot in here again.
This place is super clean and has the biggest selection of TBPs, HCs, and Omnibuses Ive ever seen in person. Plus, thats not even mentioning how many comics they have. The recent release area is huge and has everything. Plus theres manga, games, and board games. I cant recommend this place enough.
Been going to this store for many years! They treat their loyal customers like family
I love visiting this store! They’re CONSTANTLY getting new inventory in. Helpful staff and convenient location right off I-25 🙌🏽
Excellent inventory, good prices. Staff seemed very preoccupied and disinterested (only downside).
Great place, fantastic selection of indie comics.
They have a good selection of new stuff, but they change prices of older books at the register. While I understand the policy & perhaps WHY they would want to do this after reading another review, I honestly feel like I wasted time at this store.Twice I have brought a $5 book to the register, a Shuri 1 and a Captain America 276. The person at the cash register decided to look up the Captain America book and decided its value was now $20. The Shuri 1 interaction previously made more sense, since the register was ringing $40. I thought it was just mismarked, and didnt argue. Though looking back on it now after my more recent experience Im not sure that was entirely fair either.Ive been bait and switched twice and it just doesnt make me want me to do business here anymore. I decided to come back and purchase the Shuri at the updated asking price. This time however, I just didnt like or respect what transpired. Overall, it is my >>opinion>>Bait and switching
Always helpful with questions! Great selection.
The store was disgusting all of the employees were touching their faces and all of the products look like they were infected with diseases nobody cleaned anything the score of the store was definitely a breeding ground I couldnt tell if the manager really cared about the place or is just there for money will definitely not go back again this place is disgustingPS in response to your answer to my review I complied with your request to put my mask over my nose never said a word to any of your employees. If this is how you run a business I feel sorry for you
I recently got into comic books and after checking out a few locations this is my favorite for sure. The employees are always super friendly and helpful and the store is clean and organized. Plenty of stuff to look at and they also have a great selection of magic the gathering items.
Decent amount of supplies. If your into comics or Magic... Its probably amazing.
This is a pretty cool comic book store I’ve been here a bunch of times, today I was unfortunate to have an unpleasant experience, I was looking to do a small trade-in, maybe pick up some new comics. The gentleman I spoke to was really rude to me initially because I had my mask slightly down, “he told me he kick me the hell out”, and that there was nothing he could do for my trade-in I understand that he couldn’t do the trade-in but he didn’t have to be so rude to me initially.
They re-price books at the register, even though there already are price tags on the comic. Wow. Why are there no signs throughout the store posting about this re-pricing of hot books at the register, nothing by the store boxes. The shelving units do not feel safe in their slide-out box-shelves stacked on top of each other, as if they are ready to fall out when you slide out the boxes, which are very tiring and cumbersome, for sifting through comic books.I recommend avoiding this shop, as the service was also dismissive, and they avoid eye contact. This is not a welcoming place to visit.- Aaron
Helpful customer service, affordable, large selection, growing used video game section too!
I love this comic shop. The staff is always friendly and I always can find what I need. They have a huge amount of variation in products and always have new issues.
Amazing customer service, constantly expanding, and great products!!! I highly recommend this shop!
Great place like a return to a happy place as a kid. Had a bad experience at a shop closer to my house and put a bad taste in my mouth. Ill be driving the extra distance to come here.
The selection and variety is awesome and the staff members are knowledgeable and helpful.
If I could rate this store less than 1 star, I would. Writing through my wifes account as I dont have a Google account or really care to make one as I dont ever feel the need to write reviews even if they have bad service. I called earlier today asking for a specific comic issue which they did have, and told me the price was $20, which they plainly stated. I said I was not in the area and would have my wife come pick it up. When my wife went to pick it up the price had changed to $25. After being rude to my wife and telling her books have tax and making a joke to another customer when do books not have tax (why be that way?) - my wife was confused because to our understanding the book was $20, not $25. After calling the store to address the situation I told them the $5 difference wasnt a big deal but there was no need do be disrespectful towards my wife (which a few reviews on here clearly address they have an issue with rude behavior) they gave me the run around that I didnt hear them correctly regarding the price, which then turned into him admitting the phone could have cut out when he said $25 - making it $20. Total nonsense. Because the book is sought after Im under the impression they either mis spoke (which he refused to consider as a possibility) or they raised the book by $5 because they realized $20 was too good of a deal to let the book go. After going around and around on the phone the part owner decided we shouldnt continue transactions because it wasnt a healthy environment. He even acknowledged that he knew the book was valuable and had it prepared for their stream sale? Just an absolute joke of an experience. Have some class and at least improve your customer service, I suppose it is an unhealthy environment. Dont let this shop scam you and stand up when being mistreated, its not worth it, especially from these clowns. PS Ive been taking my son to this shop for a long time, since before they moved from their old location. Sad to see. Thanks for nothing guys!
This is my go to when it comes to comic books/graphic novels. With this new (bigger and better) location they have started to dabble in board games and video games. Both inventories have been rapidly growing with each visit. Dont worry they still deal in Magic the Gathering and still have a very vast selection and are always up to date with each release. If they dont have what youre looking for theyll always try their best to hunt for said item. Give them a shot as these friendly blokes go above and beyond.
Ok place. Nice comics. Pretty ok funko selection. ive been a collector for years and got a Bit of a low ball on offers for funkos and other collectibles if thats what your looking for but thats just my OPINION. Far less than even 50% of ppg. Ive PERSONALLY been getting a better deal at a other spot down the road from them but again, thats just me. Staff is interesting, a couple seem a bit confused/lack of knowledge or maybe theyre just new. Didnt really greet people entering or have much to say at all. If your into comics or D&D or Magic the gathering theyve got your stuff forrsure. Id maybe reccomend for the older demographic. These youngsters these days might not be as thrilled with this spot. Again, its an ok spot in my opinion. Location could maybe be better. Visibility is key.
Excellent selection of comics and role play games available, along with a huge selection of Pop Vinyl characters from Marvel, Game of Thrones, Anime, and lots more.
Wonderful place to visit for ALL things nerd!! Comics, graphic novels, games, pops, and video games! Highly recommend!!
Has a wide variety of comics and videogames. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Very awesome shop. Lots of different comics, graphic novels, and collectibles amongst much more.
Good selection for young and old like me 👍
Very knowledgeable
My go-to comic store. These guys are awesome.
Friendly and knowledge staff will help you find exactly what youre looking for. They have fun events and a great selection.
Such a great store, packed to the gills with trade paperbacks and issues, loaded with Funko figures, and a welcoming space. Its exciting to have such a great shop near where Mile High Comics used to be.
The staff is the friendliest I have ever met. The other people that come play Magic the Gathering are also very friendly and inclusive. Ive always felt welcomed by everyone. Sunday are commander days and it is always a fun time. Friday night draft days are also very enjoyable. They have a huge selection of comics and MTG cards. Its my go to shop. I cannot recommend a place more than here.
Good place for hard to find games.Staff extremely and genuinely helpful
Best place to get comics and games on the front range. Super friendly and always helpful staff.
Really friendly staff and good items in store. Good atmosphere
Awesome place good variety of stuff go check it out
Everything there was cool, but one of the employees there refused to take my friends and I seriously, because we were kids. I only say that its because we were kids, is because he was nicer to an older gentleman at the store than us.
Always great service, also they host stream sales on Facebook that are awesome and work very smoothly!10/10
Big and clean. Well organized with a friendly helpful staff. The place to go to round out your Pops collection!
Very friendly staff and clean store. Ive been a customer for years and have always enjoyed my experience here.
This is a great shop. Tons of current and back issue comics. Great game section too.
Friendly local comic store. Excellent selection of graphic novels.
This is my favorite place ever to buy MTG cards. They have an online ordering system where you can order your cards online and pick them up the next day. Plenty of space to play cards and board games with your friends and meet new people. Not sure if they do it anymore, but they at one point had free board game nights where they break open a new board game so that you can try before you buy. Also lots of MTG drafts and events. They also have a HUGE selection of Dragon Shield card sleeves--literally any color you could ever want. I love this store! :)
Ive had my comic pull box here for a month or so now and the folks are always really helpful and nice
Shop caters to people who dont make any noise and dont have any personality. Its like the staff are trained to not have any manners.
I came to this store when my local comic store didnt have what I wanted and man was I surprised! This place is awesome! It has a huge selection, and everything is very well organized and very fairly priced especially in comparison to their competition. I found exactly what I wanted for the price I wanted. I ended up turning this quick stop into a very long browse. I am definitely a new regular to this store, they earned my business for sure!
They have everything comics, old and new school games, manga, tradable cards, collectors figures, and so so so so much more. Its my most favorite comic book store in Colorado.
Huge variety of comics, books, table games, and pop-culture gifts.Staff is friendly and knowledgeable!
Place is an absolute dump. Everything overpriced. Workers at the shop are all very rude. Dont waste your money.
A truly cool place.
Always a pleasure to visit this awesome store! Great staff and they really know their stuff.
Closer to home than my usually comic store but dont think Id switch over. They have a ton of comics, pops and statues. Some staff are very friendly some not so much. Thats pretty common at comic series though. If you are looking for pops in particular this is a good place for you to look.
Nice store wide range of comics could use some more collectible figurines but in all a nice store
This is a very large nice gaming and comic shop. They have just about everything you can think of, even room for groups of dnd players or whatever your fancey. Lots of funco pops, collectables, and a knowledgeable staff. The place is just a little hidden in the plaza in the back. Definitely go take a look.
The most cleaned comic store in Colorado! Good selection on everything and pop figure wise. Pop prices are super friendly and fair. Staff members here are way more caring then mile high.
They bought some action figures from us and we were able to swap them out for other items we did want. They have great selection and the store was larger than we expected. Staff seemed friendly and helpful but quiet. They appear to be set up for group gaming, we will definately be back!
Nice environment, huge selection on comics and comic novelties. Super friendly staff who are really helpful. If you are trying to get rid of comics the staff is really noligable and will either buy them or point in the right direction to get your comics sold. Highly recommend.
I love comics and was thrilled to find this store by accident. My excitement quickly turned into disappointment. There was no greeting like most businesses and the workers made it awkward to look around comfortably. I dont know why but it felt like they were watching my every move. I bought a couple comic books and the young cashier seemed bothered and basically tossed my receipt on the counter instead of handing it to me. Cool place but customer service sucks and I felt unwelcomed. I wanted to bring my son here but after my experience I wont be returning any time soon or ever possibly.
As a store owner, I try to visit as many shops as I can when I travel. I can clearly say this is one of those shops that ranks at the top of my list. I was able to meet the entire crew, and each of them asked if I needed help finding anything. The store is bright, clean, very well organized, and a joy to be in. Back issues are priced reasonably, and its clear this shop is run by guys who are out to break the stigma and have a great time. If you are from out of town, its worth the trip to this place. Great job guys!
My number 1 shop for all my geeky needs. Found these guys 6 years ago and havent stopped going since. Each owner has their own style and outlook on comics, so you will always find help no matter what and you might learn a thing or two about the industry/history. Comic/Cards/Table Top Games/Statues, you name it they probably have it or they will order it for you. Great service and friendly staff.
I am a comic junkie. I am making my rounds in the Denver Metro area to find a new shop since Clockwork comics and Atlantis are long gone. Id gone into this shop at the recommendation of a friend who lived up north. It was quite a drive and I see this little shop. Im usually apprehensive about going to small comic shops because the owners or employees sometimes come off as rude or condescending and I dont want to make a long trip just to feel like theyre doing ME a favor by existing. Not the case at I Want More comics! The staff is very friendly, love talking comics, and the prices here are reasonable for back issues. The selection of back issues isnt super huge but they do carry a lot of great books and the shop is filled with great decor--most for sale. One thing I really like about the place as well is the lighting--very bright and welcoming as opposed to a dungeon. Worth the drive up north if you dont live in the area. I got some estimates on some comics I was trying to sell and they gave me fair prices (above what I was expecting on some) and even offered to take them off my hands right then and there. Nice guys, very welcoming. If I lived up north, Id be going here on a regular basis.
This is one of my favorite comic stores now! Not only does it have a wide selection of comics, it also has video games! Great service!
Do you like board games? Do you like Magic? No silly, not the harry potter kind, the Gathering kind? Do you like sort of nerdy like minded people? Then this place is for you! This store is a hidden gem. No fighting for elbow room, they have enough tables for whatever satiates your inner nerd. Wanna try that game you saw but dont wanna drop 40 bucks on it yet? Stop by on the last Sunday of the month, and they probably have that demo and people willing to play with you. Great place to take your kids to give their mom a break, and forge them into the kids that lose graciously.Seriously, just stop in. The store looks awesome, the people are even awesomer!Oh, and they also have comics!
