Great staff, super knowledgeable about their games. Jay always points me in the right direction. Pre-orders are always ready on release day.Extend your hours back to opening at 10 please!
Melanie at this location is awesome. I just picked up FF7 for the PS5 and we got to chat for a bit about life and the joys of good people. I want to keep giving GameStop my biz because of her.
I waited outside for the store to open to purchase an evolving skies pokemon etb and seen one through the window sitting on the counter while the employee was setting up.. when the door opened he said it was sold.. but I was the first person in line waiting for the door to open.. he explained that it was sold online so he put it under the counter. Totally reasonable just sucks for me. So, I figured Id try my luck and go to another gamestop.. they also sold out..I explained what happened at the first location (120th)..the staff member at the 2nd location was super helpful and sent me to a store that had it in stock. He also mentioned that the 1st store (120th) showed one in stock ... wait what?? I just came from there.. that employee said it was sold out..i then realized that the employee at the 120th store was probably holding the product for his friend or himself and didnt want to sell it..thanks for wasting my time and gas driving around to three locations just to make a purchase.
Nice staff! And picked up a smash GameCube controller for $25! Thanks guys!
Were very helpful and understanding when I went to purchase Super smash bros! Also before I had the Switch they never once got frustrated with me when I would call to see if they had any in stock, when there was the massive shortage. And I know I wasnt the only one calling about Switches. They probably got dozens a day. Nice folks over there who love video games like me!
Came in today looking for a old game they didnt have but even though they didnt have it they found a store near me that did have it, thank you
The gentleman behind the counter was so knowledgeable and awesome. Im not a gamer and he was patient and helped me get what I need not just sell me! Thanks
Great people great service lots of help
Yet again the only big box video game retailer left In the U.S Fails to Secure enough inventory to fulfill a console launch pre order beyond a single hour. What is the point of Gamestop anyway if Amazon and Walmart have more stock items in their market?
I came in the store with my daughter to ask about the PS5 . They were sold out ok thats fine. My daughter wanted a Naruto ball cap I paid cash . We were the only customers there . I wasnt given a receipt . My daughter noticed 2 shirts she wanted so I went to pay for shirts they accused me of not paying for the Naruto hat I said you literally just seen me pay for the hat . I got nothing but attitude. She found the receipt that was never given to me . So I went a head and paid for my daughters shirts and left terrible experience.
Friendly staff always helpful!
No used games or systems. Travesty
Outstanding collection of games and gear. Fair prices and great sales. The store is clean and well lit. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. This particular store is a great place to shop for all your gammingneeds. I highly recommend it for newbies to hard core hammers. They will not disappoint.
The manager, Jay, is a super-geek and knows his stuff, even beyond video games and pop collectibles! (I mean this as a compliment.) The store itself is clean, organized, and well-stocked. If you need to pre-order anything from new games to pop figures, I would highly recommend this location specifically. Ive had positive experiences with all of the staff and they make recommendations based on your best interest. I would recommend making this location your primary GameStop if its reasonably close to you.
The game stop i went to located 10001 grant st ..was the most rudest game stop o ever went to a staff member at 200 this afternoon was rude ...me and my wife decided to stop there and upon arrival as we started to look at the game the guy with glasses blocked her as he was regrouping games so she continued looking and what he did next was unbelievable from him not knowing she is a reward member ..when every other customer walked in this game stop he offered them the promotion each and every white person but never even came close to offering us the promotion so we just put down the items we had and walked out and went to our normal game stop we go to. Located 901 east 120th ave in Thornton is the best customer service employees ever they made me and my wife feel great from the time we entered there locationThe 5 Star is for the 901 location the other location is 0
J and Jim are the best I only buy my games from them even though they love xbox
GameStop as a corporation has lost my business completely. From the way they treat their employees to the way their greed has impacted me as a gamer. I will always look for my games online instead of at a GameStop. If I trade in four games I should probably get a little more than $5.00 worth of value. Because you guys have shut down the way your trade in and used game system used to work I will never use you guys again. And because of that I will never buy consoles or accessories from you again either.
I love this place, GameStop always have new information and games and and their prices are good.
This used to be my home store but I feel like it lacks a lot. I usually go to the Federal Heights store. Ill go here out of convenience.
Items are well-stocked and organized. They seem to have remodeled since the last time I was here. Service is friendly as usual and always ready to help
Love this GameStop. Jay is super helpful and super friendly. He has a great staff that is also as awesome. They know me/us by name and are always willing to help acquire that game or collectable we might looking for. Keep up the great work guys!!!
Nice guy at counter. Prices are still ridiculous though, I genuinely have no idea what good gamestop is anymore unless you like to purchase full price games even though they are on sale on PS/XBOX stores on the console, used red box games, FB marketplace. So in other words, if you dont have time or just dont worry about money, this would be convenient I guess.
I absolutely love this place and the guys are amazing!! Cory is an awesome guy and knows his games and his systems! Having trouble picking a game? Talk to him!!
Very cool stuff that actually took the time to look for a game my nephew wanted and made sure I was ok with him buying the game because it was rated mature. Very much appreciated for that. Young man behind the counter even took the time to explain warranty and their membership card. We definitely will be visiting more often. Thanks guys for a great visit and keep up the good work.
Nice honest guys. I dont sell games much but theyre convenient to buy from, they have cool toys and swag too
Great game store. The staff is always helpful and willing to talk or offer advice. Ive called ahead more than once to have them hold an item. They have midnight releases and the whole deal. Parking is a mess. If you can get over that small hump, the game store is a great place to shop.
Ive been going here for years. the staff always helps me, and gamestop is a cool company. but its the staff that has always been nice to me. theres this black woman that would wear a pony tail sometimes, she worked there for years and was always great to me. she was always enthusiastic and very friendly, helpful and into games. I dont know her name but shes a great employee.as well as everyone else, I havent ever had any major issues or problems there. good place
Love video games and related items so this place is always a must for me
Super friendly workers! Always enjoy doing some shopping for a new game at this location. The staff is always happy to help and offer recommendations when you’re unsure of what game you’re wanting to play next.
Attentive and helpful service from James and his coworkers.
Stopped in to do a preorder and the store and staff were awesome. Extremely helpful in taking care of me. Highly recommend shopping here.
Start is awesome, always friendly, fun and helpful. They keep a great supply of product. Love it here!
Staff was helpful. But do not buy any Google Home products here. They charge $130 for the full size Google Home. You can get it across the street at Target for $100, and online for even less.
Guys were great. Always love going in.
Every time I go in there the workers are nice, suggest other items I might be interested in, move the line as quickly as possible. And remain friendly, even when is hectic. But their vita games are pricey :(
Ok this 5 star rating if more for the staff the the actual store. But I stopped by this store on Black Friday after 1PM and the staff was SUPER COOL. They helped me find the pop funko character I wanted. And for Vets they have discounts for us!!! Great customer service guys thank you
Cant find anything worth buy as half the store is junk toys now.The redheaded potbelly guy with the buzz cut and earring is a jerk. All of the staff are completely and totally indifferent to you. There is a reason this company is dying, let it die.
Staff is nice and helpful. Fun t shirts and backpacks.
Great Selection New and Used. Staff very friendly and helpful
Horrible service. Bald greasy guy is incompetent and rude to customers. Did not honor exchange/return policy. They don’t have a great selection most of the time. Went to the one in Westminster and they are the best. Should have went there first honestly. Returned my stuff with no issues. It’s a little further but worth it. Don’t waist your money or time here.
I frequent many Gamestops in the Denver area and this is by far the best I have ever been to. The staff are friendly and helpful. For the bigger midnight releases they do special things for the customers that attend (free pizza and energy drinks, game tournaments, even a DJ once). I have always had good service when I come in. Even when it is busy they usually can get to customers quickly. For even the biggest midnight releases they get everyone their games quickly. If you live in the area I strongly suggest you pay them a visit.
A fantastic home game store for anyone living in the area. The employees and manager here are all huge gamers and are well versed in new and old games, which will help anyone with uncertainty find something fun for themselves or as a gift. The store has an excellent range of pop culture collectibles, that are routinely refreshes and organized to ensure there is always something exciting to find.If you have challenges finding what you are looking for, the manager and his staff never hesitate to assist in tracking down specific games and collectibles from other stores or online ordering. The store is well kept, and is far more tidy than other Gamestops in the area. This helps the store feel more open which allows for better discovery of games and collectibles, and makes the environment more open to friendly help and conversation.Overall, this is easily the best home Gamestop I have ever had in my years of shopping there. While people are quick to criticize the company, this individual store at least makes it feel like the customer isnt just a source of income.
James who is one of the best sales associates ever, he took the time to help me get exactly what I wanted. Im a customer for life because of him!
A nice fella runs this Gamestop and the trade in prices are better than most. They also have some night before releases.
Great staff, good with kids knowledgeable about they’re products
Love their pre-owned games.
Very helpful and honest staff
Stellar service by the people in this store as always. Im so happy to be a rewards member and have a local store thats so friendly.
Its GameStop. You cant expect much. Sales guy was condescending as is expected.
I just take the kids there. They love the place
Best game stop ever go there all the time and the staff is very friendly and nice
Let me start by saying, this all could have been easily solved had customer service been their number 1 priority. I recently pre-ordered a game from the e120th location, in northglenn, picked the game up on release day and headed home. Waited three hours for downloads and updates to take place, the started the game. Cutscene played for 3 minutes or so, then my PS4 froze... no response at all. This is abnormal considering it’s a brand new PS4 pro, and has had no Issue with any game prior to this one. This game crashes my whole PS4, I had to call Sony to get a factory reset procedure walkthrough. The game corrupted my system, so I went to the store for a return on my money. Here’s where the trouble starts... I went to this store the next day, Sunday, this particular store is set to open at 9:00am on sundays... I was there at nine... no one was there, waited an hour... still no one there. I left and returned about 12:00 pm and the store was finally open. The manager, Jay, informed me that returns aren’t part of their company policy and he couldn’t do much for me aside from giving me another copy of the same game... why would I want to put this game back into my system that I just wasted several hours resetting because of this game? Jay proceeded to tell me I could keep that copy and leave, or get an exchange. he also offered cash, trade in value on a game I bought two days ago, $35.... With no explanation as to why a return couldn’t be made other than, “its store policy”. Apparently, letting customers leave your store completely dissatisfied is “company policy”. It’s clear this company has no regard for their customers satisfaction. I will not be spending another red cent at this store, or any other GameStop for that matter. I ended up taking the exchange and selling the unopened copy for cash to a kid walking into the store shortly after this situation arose. thank you Jay, for the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had at a GameStop!
Didnt have what I wanted but quickly pointed me at a store that did.
Walked into the thorncreek crossing location(120th and Washington) a week ago to to get my son a 360 and a game. I walked around the place twice but the 3 or 4 employees behind the counter were too busy discussing comic book characters vs eachother in different settings or if dragon balls were compatible on other planets/dimensions to ask if they could help me. A young lady walked in and the door hadnt even closed before she was offered assistance. Sorry I wasnt worth your time to offer help and sell some stuff.
The top paragraph on the back of the receipt says that if you are not full satisfied with your purchase return it within 30 days for a refund or exchange. Proof of purchase necessary. I purchased Monday night and tried to return for an exchange Wednesday at noon and the clerk told me no. Then tried to lie to me about a law that they cant accept opened new merchandise. Your store has a return policy. Abide by it. Will be talking to corporate.
Theres great games for low prices and the staff is always willing to help me
For the most part I like them. I have an older system and cant always get what I want. They can be a little pricey. Give them a try.
Its a good gamestop, small though... The customer service isnt good. THe guy was eating a huge meal and the cash register guy was talking to him the whole time while he ate...he didnt even talk to me.
Great place for Black Friday deals
Very helpful and the staff is knowledgable about games for my son.
I often have problems with the staff at this particular Gamestop. Incompetence and bad customer service. There are many other Gamestops nearby, so its worth it to just drive another mile or 2 to a different one.
Staff is very helpful and I found some great used games
Good staff, but in always spend to much here
Great place for gifts, helpful staff and great prices
I love this store everyone is nice and the know there gaming systems.
Everytime I come in here the employees are snobbish and standoffish, they always act like they know more than anyone about video games. This most recent experience I was calling because I received an ad stating select call of duty GAMES were 50% off, so I had called the store and spoke with the manager Jay to inquire which games it was and how much the price was. He said it was only Infinite Warfare and it was $30, I told him that was weird because I was in there two weeks ago and it was $40 and the math doesnt add up. He proceeded to raise his voice to me and say you clearly dont know anything about gamestop, our prices fluctuate and it was raised back to $60 a week ago at this point I had already made my decision I wasnt going to buy the game but I just couldnt wrap my head around how they had raised the price in order to only really take $10 off the game instead of making it 50% off. So I told him dont yell at me and talk to me like that, now price scandals aside the ad also said select games as in plural as in more than one but you only mention one game why is it advertised as multiple that apparently was not his problem and he gave me the corporate number and hung up. So I definitely called corporate but not to complain about their promotions but to complain about this grossly unprofessional store manager and tell them I will not be renewing my Game Informer or my Power Up rewards and that I will be taking my game business elsewhere
Been going here my whole life and they always help you with prices and all your gaming needs. Also, the staff is very nice so anyone who is reading this please treat them well!
It was great and there was amazing service.
Get some great deals for games for the kids. Bought a game system used and still had last owners information on it. Thought they would clear it.
Easy to locate. Excellent staff assistance!
Great service, bought a very nice wireless headset!
They were great even for as busy as they were.
The people were very helpful.
Let me share with you what is genuinely the best retail experience I have ever received. I shop at this Gamestop frequently. And not once ever have have I had a bad experience. Staff is always friendly and its great to just chat with them. They always have what I want and if they dont they make sure to get it for me. Tommy, Tynan, Ian,Tyler, both dylans and Jay are the best. Absolute assets to the company. Thank you Gamestop!
Horrible customer service starting from the Manager on down!! The manager is a bald headed 40s white man. Totally unwilling to work with you in any way and acts as if your just another number and theres zero time to service you. So he rushes you out the door even with few customers in the building! His employees even stated to me that they were instructed by him to charge disk refurb fees if customers do not have the original case when trading used games (employee stated this when I asked why I was being charged a refurb fee on a perfect condition game disk) !!! Absoluly piss poor!!! Ive honestly never heard of such a horrible way to gouge customers even if the disk is in Excellent condition! Never trade or buy here!!!
Site says 120 for a ps4 trade in and they offered 80 because of a scratch. Took it to the gamestop on 92nd and grant and they offered 120. They will screw you here. Beware.
Very friendly and the staff will answer any questions you have! Game Stop is the only place to shop for all of your gaming accessories!
Standard game stop. Good selection of games for most things except Wii U.
So i understand game stop is a business but i wanted to switch gaming systems on gtav i knew i was going to have to pay somthing to do so, so i called amd asked they were going to give me a 15 dollar credit and charge me $54 for a used game..... are u kidding me! Thats $6 short of 4 times the amount of my trade in! I tried to talk to the manager anf was told theres nothing he can do. Thats bad business and now i will get all my preorders back and never go again. There are many more places to go other than here. Walmart is selling it $20 cheaper new then they have it listed used STAY AWAY SAVE YOUR MONEY!!
Service is always awesome at this storeI recommend this store 100%. Tyler and Jay Rule.
Ian is usually the one that assists me in my purchases and needed information. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks Gamestop
The manager is so arrogant it’s too much to handle sometimes, also the female at this location is the worst. I prefer the Grant location, Dwayne is awesome!
Great service. People on top of it, asking if I needed anything right away.
Great staff and very helpful.
Cant say for everyone working there but some are incredibly rude to their customers.
I recently visits your Thorncreek Crossing location at 901 E. 120th ave in Thornton Co. I have ALWAYS had great experiences at this location but my most recent was AMAZING. I stopped in to browse for some PS4 games as well as inquire about a lost receipt that had a redemption code for a season pass. Im a dummy :/ and lost it. I initially spoke to an associate in a green Zelda shirt (manager??) who assured me they would get this resolved in a timely manner. He transitioned me to a sales associate named Ian who found a quick solution. He got on the phone with your support department and had my code in hand within minutes. GREAT SUCCES!! I was also ready to check out. The checkout process was smooth and we spent some time discussing some upcoming Final Fantasy titles and PS VR. This is why I keep coming back. Didnt feel like shopping but like chatting with a buddy. Great work Ian and team!
This place has been solid for years. Great staff.
I advise anyone looking to purchase from Gamestop to not go to this store.I noticed a sign advertising $150 trade in of PS3/XBOX 360 for a new PS4 or Xbox One. I went in to this store with all of my PS3 and Xbox 360 items to trade in for a PS4. I had forgot a cable at home, and was just going to purchase one because I didnt want to drive back home. The employee helping me was extremely rude and did not seem like he wanted to help. When I asked him questions, he was short with me and his attitude was that I was bothering him. I finally had enough and just put all of my items back in my car after telling him I was done with this store. He didnt even seem to really care he just lost a pretty decent sale. Avoid if at all possible. This was not the only interaction Ive had at this location that was poor.
Overpriced and not a good place to sell anything
I just returned from this store and would advise consumers to go elsewhere. My customer service experience was very sub-par. I was prepared with cash in pocket to purchase a new or refurbished gaming system, accessories, and a few specific games. Having shopped online, craiglist, Target, and Walmart, I chose GS, thinking it would have everything I needed. I located what I was looking for, but wanted to ask a few questions. As I approached the staff, 4 younger gentleman, I overheard them gossiping negatively about a customer who had posted a negative comment against GS, but had gave the staff member ZEROs. I was a bit annoyed by the comments, and chose to wait until approached to ask my questions and secure my purchase. 3 of the staff turned their attention towards a handheld game being played by 4th staff member. The foursome remained fixated on the device for another few minutes, and ignored my presence. I chose to walk out, and will not return. I was prepared to make an impulse buy and could have been a repeat customer. Now, I doubt I will even purchase a gaming system. Game Stop, Playstation, Madden, EA, and so on... Beware... Youre losing revenue to the slackers behind the counter...
Whats ther to dislike about gamestop
Awesome!!A bit busy bbut cool employees.
Great place for quick gifts!
Friendly staff, good selection.
Customer service was rude. They didnt want to answer my questions and were annoyed.
GameStop are usually a waste of time as there customer service is always horrible unless your a friend of the workers..they always have a opinion on what your looking for and how something is better...I stay away unfortunately I had a gift card.
Its a nice place to buy video games
L2 cards are back hell yeah
Pretty good selection, but overpriced
Very knowledgeable staff! Friendly, too!!!
