Guy in the gaming cell phone electronics department was very helpful. I was unable to find a Precision set of screwdrivers and he directed me to them almost immediately.

1 door open to the right of the building so park accordingly. Stock is low to non existent on what I needed so I ended up going to Academy where i payed more for the same product usually carried at Wal-Mart. The employees at Wal-Mart were helpful in giving me directions to the items I needed but there was non to be found. Clearly the crunch is on for the big box shops who had no competition during the year. I found the store very clean with good lighting and enough employees to handle the shoppers needs.ive always wondered why outside is a small speaker playing music you can hear for a little while?

Great shopping, great prices, great selection, great helpful staff. Just wish you could use cash at self checkout registers. And could also use cash at gas ⛽ pumps, whats wrong with cash its still money its still valid and valuable.!

Watch your produce! Purchased on 6/22/21. Realized today after trying to use it with dinner, it’s over a month expired and taste extremely bad!! I used to love this Wal-Mart but I’m starting to really dislike it. Between the broken freezers, a Crab Boil product I bought that was pre-opened and now over a month expired cheese, they are really starting to put my health in danger!!

Huge, honking, artificially-lit, and endlessly stuffed with low-priced Chinese everything! You know the drill. It isnt like the next guy is selling stuff that isnt made in China, but he is more likely to employ your neighbor at the cash register. No lines, and lots of robots. Love it or hate it, its Merica!

I have been shopping Wal-Mart in this area for 15 years and I have a minor pet peeve. I am really starting to get upset with the lack of cashiers to check out my large grocery cart items! I despise self-checkout! I am not an employee. I expect a cashier to check & bag my groceries for my loyalty. I am very close to turning to the next largest grocer in my area for my business.

This walmart is horrible....always packed and never stocked!!! Employees are very rude as well...this isnt just one experience we have been multiple times and always the same experience!

Ordered online for pick up. My order was ready at the bottom of the hour. Very few substitutions and produce was pretty good. Worker who filled my order was friendly. All around good experience.

DO NOT SHOP HERE I went to this Walmart location for new tires and decided to get an oil change also. A few hours later going down the road my engine burned up because they forgot to put the gasket back on the oil filter. I called the store while I was broken down on side the road in the rain and the store manager josh told a team member to tell me he did not have time to speak with me eventually I was able to get thru to him. It took 3 days for me to get to speak with Walmart’s claims department without a vehicle to go to work. I called the store about 15 times in 3 hours a day consistently try to speak with this manager and I still was not able to speak with anyone. About a week later I spoke to josh again and he said he’d call me back in 5 minutes I never heard from him again. The experience with this store manager makes it evident Walmart does not care at all about its customers.I did not matter to this store manager my business does not matter do not shop here or get your vehicle serviced here I still have not heard from his boss about my experience my car was fixed thanks to Walmart’s claim department but I would like the customer service side of this addressed.

There should have been more cash registers open. One side of the stores self checkout registers were closed along with more than 50% of the cashier attending registers! And this is all during POST HURRICANE DISASTER conditions.

I was able to get everything I wanted except for washers. Had to buy a pack of 20. Didnt need 20. Needed 1. So I didnt get it.

I like most Walmart stores. Houmas MLK store is only fair. Its clean and well stocked, but the employees seem apathetic and enjoy socializing more than assisting customers.

I dont know what security guard rent-a-cop yall are using, but when a person tells them that they are exempt from wearing a mask when they walk in your store to buy something, you dont harass that person when theyre leaving by telling them they could wear a face shield and that its better than nothing. Discrimination doesnt get my business.

I want to see a huge thanks to Donna, I believe she’ works in the garden center. My car broke down on the parking lot after shopping today, the battery was flat. After calling around trying to find someone to help me Donna came out to the parking lot and asked if I needed help, I told her my battery is flat, she contacted the auto department and they came out to help and change my battery. It was extremely hot and humid and she was kind enough to come out with a bottle of cold water.. This was going above and beyond and I am very grateful for her help and the auto departments help.

Theres less choice in grocery in this town, therefore I dread going there with the masses of slow moving browsers. Guys like me like to get in and get out.

Walmart is the same across the board, only difference was being able to get Nicholls State University wear.

I dislike this place. Nothing on shelves. Never enough checkout. Employees doing pickup are always in the way of my shopping.

They dont tag their items, ask you to find a tagged item and then lose the stuff you originally wanted to buy and switch cashiers so nobody knows what is going on. This was probably the WORST shopping experience of my life.

Hate coming here most employees are rude and cant answer questions about their department they work in
