Prices are way too high, female employees are immediately rude to any female that walks in, and will make sure you pay for every second you have rented equipment from them. Will charge you another day if your an hour late bringing equipment back!! Make sure you check the (rental) pressure washers onsite too!

Rented an engine hoist. No one in the Clear lake area had one? Glad I made the drive. Good price and lots of other tool and equipment.

If you have a need for tools, basic FRC, Safety supplies or rental equipment. This is the place to shop in Texas City! The staff cares and will help you find solutions to your needs!

It started off as a 5 star review. It has ended as a 1 star review. I rented a 18 inch chain saw for 24 hours. CJ helped me it is a great employe. It rented for $40. 47 with tax ok. Then I was shocked to see a $100 charge on their for deposit fee witch I did not authorized witch but my bank account into negative and another 30 over draft fee. When I return the chain saw, I was told my refund may take 7-10 business days. So dont do Business with Mainland tool rental they will nickel and dine you to death. They can reimburse me the money and maybe I might change my mind on their post. Feeling frustrated beyond belief not member of management would come out of their offices they just sat their like a bump on a fat cash log.

They would NOT give me Military discount even though I paid for it with my own credit card and ordered it! This store was impressive. They have everything I need for the work I do. The people there dont smile alot but for the most part they are helpful. I have visited twice and both time they had what I needed. Very organized store with a great selection.
