The nurse that I checked in with was very helpful and patient enough though I had an issue with my payment, and Dr. McCoy was a pleasure to work with. He worked quickly, had engaging but professional conversation, answered all my questions without dismissing them, and did a very thorough job. Best eye appointment of my life!

This was my first visit with this location and it was fantastic from start to finish! They had warned me that they were short staffed and may be running a little behind, but I barely had any wait at all! The entire staff was pleasant and prompt during my visit. I will definitely be a repeat patient! Great job to all of the providers and staff!

My 2 children were due for eye check ups and new glasses. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the doctor was very nice. He was funny and sweet he made sure to do things in a way that made my children comfortable and a way that they understood. When picking out glass the staff was super sweet and helpful.

After my exam Donnie took good care of me and sealed the deal, he is the man to talk to get a good deal on a pair glasses within your insurance boundaries. I had a great experience at this location. This is the first time I’ve ever gone to Dr. Tavel. I saw Dr. La’Tourette and she was wonderful. She explained everything in detail and was so nice. The girl that helped me with my glasses did a great job as well.

The eye exam was very good. There is way to many ladies in the office just mingling around trying to test your vision and not knowing what they are doing. Had me put my reading glasses on to read a distance chart, never asking what the glasses were that I wasn’t wearing. Seams obvious to me if someone isn’t wearing their glass to walk around that they are most likely for reading. Overall good experience just way to many employees running around not actually working

Absolutely wonderful! Best eye Dr Ive ever been to! Theyre warm, friendly and inviting. I have 2 boys that play no matter where they are. The staff was not only patient and understanding with my kids, they got down to my kids level with smiling faces. Also to my amazement, they were very quick and efficient, all while being personable. They far exceeded my expectations! I actually really look forward to going back, as do my kids.

Dr. Travel is the only place I go for exams and glasses. Staff members are always pleasant and prepared to make the check in fast. I have never had to sit in the waiting area long before someone is ready to start my exam. During the whole process staff is explaining everything step by step to make you as comfortable as possible. The Doctor is amazing and always patient when you try to decide which lens looks better. I didnt get glasses this time (insurance wouldnt cover) but previous experience, I got exactly what I wanted and ready for pick up when promised. Also the atmosphere is clean, sanitized, and everybody has mask up!

I take both my young sons to Tavel and they see Dr Michael Mccoy. He is absolutely wonderful!My oldest son,7 years old, has anxiety and ADHD, Which can make exams difficult. Dr Mccoy worked wonderfully with him! My 4 year old also has seen him and loved it. Everyone that works there is so sweet, we have had nothing but great experiences there. I highly recommend them! We have found our optometrist for life!

Had an overall good experience, but a staff member was wearing a mask below her nose *and* mouth, and the doctor did not warn of the short-term effects of the dilated exam.

Every time I go here I am greeted with smiles and cheerful attitudes, even when the building is undergoing construction that is loud and very annoying. I honestly do not know how they do it and that is why I will always come back. Another thing I love about this location is they work with you and help you when your insurance provider has flaked out on you.Overall it is very clear that they really do care about their patients and they go above and beyond expectations to meet the needs of their patients. That is very hard to find in the days we are living in and when you do find it you treasure it even more. I wish I could give 100 stars.

Cannot recommend.Bad customer service. Ill-informed assistants (Damon), or just uncaring. I was told multiple wait times on contacts that kept getting longer. I am now waiting a month to get contacts that are paid for already. No apology about bad information. The customer service was indifferent even to the issue when I tried getting a status check on the order. No trial pair even offered.

This was my first visit to Dr. Tavels. I have nothing bad to say at all! Everyone was very friendly, the doctor was quite attentive, and I did not feel at all worried about safety from Covid-19 during my visit as I saw someone constantly disinfecting. Operations seemed to be very orderly and efficient. They have a new customer for sure!

My Daughter Broke my glasses and Alec was awesome at getting me in and getting me some new frames fast. I was expecting at least be an hour and I was in and out in 20 minutes with only spending $53! He made sure the fit perfect and was nice and tight if she tried to pull them off again.I was very happy!

They are great at dealing with the chaos that is my family when we come in! Me and 4 kids and they can get a bit rowdy! He is amazing at dealing with them through the eye exam! I love it! .. not to mention my son “ Lost” his glasses and the lady that was fitting my youngest in his was SUPER helpful on exactly how to get my oldest a new pair!

There was a gentlemen and woman working and both were very pleasant and helpful. I believe his name was Mark or Marcus that helped us out in such a time crunch and and made my daughter feel comfortable since she was upset that she stepped on them.
