I would highly recommend Flooring America of Terre Haute. We purchased our beautiful vinyl plank flooring from there. The sales rep was very knowledgeable and helpful in our purchase. The flooring installers were professional, respectful and completed our flooring in a timely manner.
After an initially poor interaction, the owner personally called to make it right which was much appreciated. Will return in the future but will pay more attention to their logic and installation process.
It was my first time there. Bought my flooring there. Linoleum and vinyl plank.
Very helpful. Great customer service
I went there with my daughter. The sales person explained the different floorings. Very informative. She was able to lay her flooring by herself from their knowledge.
What a great experience! They came to my house, gave me an honest price and opinion of what kind of carpet to get (we have no clue). Flooring America came in with 2 installers and got the job done within a few hours! Great people and service! The sales rep even called me a few days later to ask my thoughts. Super place to get carpet or whatever. Will definitely and only use them for any of my future needs.
Way more knowledgeable than the box stores. Highly recommend
The only reason u get one star is because the floor was lain down and it looks ok- everything else about the experience was horrible. The stool was put back crookedly and the installers refused to fix it and when we called the store, we were told that it was not their responsibility to fix it and if they did that they wouldnt be responsible for any leaks that it may cause. The toilet was sitting straight when they took it up- no leaks, so the lame excuses being given are not going to fly with us. They told me that their orders were to take up TWO layers of flooring from the bathroom and they did not. they put some sort of stuff down to level out the sticky tiles and then put the new floor over the top. which is fine, so long as it stays there. However, they were being paid to remove both layers. They refused my assistance when moving the fridge and moved it with the doors open, trying to get it into the dining room. The glass mugs we keep in the freezer were falling out on the floor and when I was in the other room I heard something fall and a breaking noise. I found out after they had left that they had knocked off a little chalkboard we had hanging on the wall that was also a picture frame. They didnt tell us they broke it and they laid it in pieces beside the sink on a wet towel and water got on the photos. It is cannot be fixed. I understand most people in any sort of construction/remodeling business are always going to be somewhat messy, so I expected some mess left behind. But the greasy hand prints all over the doors and the gunk left on my dining room rug ( also ruined) were a little more than what I consider to be acceptable. They came in and one of the first things they said to me was He told me you were going to be picky. well if wanting flooring to meet up with the walls and be lain down correctly is being picky, then I guess I fit the bill. thankfully they did that much... If being picky is wanting a toilet to sit straight so that the tank will not break, again, I am your girl. If being picky is my wanting them to at least tell me they had broken my picture frame/chalkboard, then, YEP, you guessed it, CALL ME PICKY! I will will highly discourage ANYONE I hear even thinking of choosing Flooring America in Terre Haute from doing so. I guess because we are just the renters, our picky complaints will go unattended and left for us to deal with.
Pleasant and well informed on products.
Installation was good but sales rep was terrible. No follow up on anything. Never a thank you for the business.
