Friendly and helpful staff. I do wish the atmosphere was a little more relaxed. I love the discounts. I toyed around with giving a four star or five. I settled on four star because of the atmosphere and music they play and that they are not closed on Sundays.

Great place to get fabric. Its a bit expensive but you do pay for better quality than Walmart. On top of that their app is super useful with lots of coupons. I got over $20 worth of stuff for $6.03 because I used both the app and shopped in the remnants. You just have to know where to find their deals!

I visit Terre Haute Joanns often & they are always super friendly.

I went in to exchange two skeins yarn for two other skeins of a different color, same brand. The store charged me $3 to do this because I didn’t have a receipt and they stated there was no way to do a straight up one for one exchange there. They had a small notice up stating something like “if you don’t have a receipt you can accept store credit for the lowest price of the item in the past 90 days OR you can exchange it.” But this particular store was apparently not honoring that exchange option.I’ve noticed at JoAnns more than any other similar type of store that there is a big difference between different branches in honoring coupons or coupon combinations or in following expected customer service policies. And it seems like every time I try a new branch it gets worse. The mentality seems to be quite rigid among JoAnn employees and it does not engender loyalty in people like me who tend to prefer JoAnn products but experience far more generous customer service attitudes elsewhere. I know it’s just $3 but the principle of it was very irritating and discourages me from wanting to continue shopping at JoAnns. I have no complaints about employees in particular. No one was rude, it was just a really disappointing application of their poorly designed refund policy.

I love this store. The staff are very friendly & helpful. The fabric selection is great. Ive taken a few quilting classes. Tina Coplan is a wonderful instructor. She has a lot of patience & is very good at helping with the projects. Shes stayed late to help us with our project. She helped me feel relaxed. I would highly recommend anyone interested in quilting take her classes. I put pictures of a couple projects Ive made here. Keep up the great work to all the wonderful staff at this store.

Store was clean but all the displays in aisles made it feel cluttered. Staff were helpful. Large selection of yarn and jewelry making supplies.

The young girl who checked me out was very friendly and courteous. I asked a lady who cuts fabric about the cost of some scissors in a nearby display and she just said I dont know. So many items do not have price tags and the sign might say 30% off which doesnt help.

Cashier was accusing me of cutting flowers and would not let me return them. I received these flowers from an online order so if they had been cut it was done prior to me receiving them. I had never taken them out of the box they were shipped in until I got to the store to return them. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Nice staff but not very helpful when trying to find something.

I arrived pretty late and purchased several cuts of fabric. The young woman was cheerful and very helpful. So was the cashier. It is so nice to be out of town and receive excellent service when they could be shutting things down.

JoAnn always has great deals and options for a huge selection of crafts and projects. All ages and types are supported in options, across a plethora of styles/fabrics.

They have a great quilting instructor (Tina). Plus there fabric selection is better than some other Joann stores. Along with a great friendly staff willing to help. I drive about 45 mins to go to this store because of the workers, fabric selection & awesome quilting classes. Highly recommend checking this store out.

My visit was accidentally during a sale event. Some shoppers were rude. The staff was weary and seemed immune to the rudeness.The store was well stocked but some areas were cluttered.

Has a lot of different merchandise. We do a lot of diamond painting. One of our kids was missing a car and they have several different colors.

Friendly associates and helpful

I love their sales. I save so much money. Today I went in to buy crochet thread, regular price $6.99, with my 60% discount and including tax, I only paid $3.00. I signed up to receive their sales and coupons and over the past couple years Ive always received a 40-60% off my purchases. I buy a lot of yarn making blankets for my family members, regular cost per blanket is minimum $50 at regular price. With the savings from coupons Im able to buy twice the amount of materials. Im old as dirt and retired on social security so these savings mean a lot to me and the ones I gift my blankets to. Thank you Joann.

Great sales and we were actually able to check the rest of our floral needs off our wedding check list! The ladies working were very helpful, patient and even told us about a 20% off cup on for downloading the app!

Writing this for my wife ... she really doesnt like Joanns (in general) because they make it difficult to use the numerous coupons they put out, specifically because the really good ones are not valid on sale items and almost all items are on sale. But the sale discount is never as good as what the coupon discount would be! If Joanns wanted to be truly fair about it they they would let the customer have the greater between the sale discount or the coupon discount off the regular price. Plus, she says that many stores never carry much of the merchandise that most customers really want. Of course that is a subjective opinion but her and all of her quilting and sewing friends pretty much agree that that is the case. She just wishes that the Joanns management would listen more to their customers than they do worrying about their bottom line.

I was there with a friend who was getting fabric for curtains. I looked through the yarn section and saw several that I would like to use for future projects.

I live at this store a lot. Most of the people that work there are super nice. Management is super nice and helpful. Ive had a couple run ins with rude employees but for the most part Im treated kind here. Prices have become on the higher side so I always suggest taking coupons

It has lots of pretty fabrics, and if you are looking for quilting fabrics there are a ton of options, but when it comes to both yarn options and apparel fabrics they have a much smaller selection than other Joanns Ive been to, however it is a big improvement over Walmart, so Id still recommend it.

My first time there..as soon as I walked in the door I was asked if I needed to be helped. I said yes, this is my first time, told her what I wanted, took me right to it, explaining how it works..Awesome.I then asked if they had another item I was going to be going to another store for. She said yes, told me where, I went, found it. Was a awesome day.

I love this Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft store! It is my favorite one to shop at.I no longer live in Terre Haute, but when I occasionally make a trip back I always make sure to stop at this Jo-Ann Fabrics. The employees there are always very nice and helpful. The store is best organized craft store I have visited. I always have no problem finding what I am looking for and quite often I find a few things to buy as well that were not on my list. I wish more craft stores were set up like this one. I actually enjoy my visit and feel very relaxed while shopping here.I have several Jo-Ann Fabric stores that are much closer to me, but they are always a mess and the employees make me feel like I am just a bother. The other store locations near me are feel like trying to navigate a maze and I usually try to get out as quickly as possible.Long story short, this store is great and a must visit for other crafty individuals.

The store is always busy, and there is plenty of things to look at for any crafter. I love their holiday selection! I also love that they always have coupons that can be used.

If you want an amazing fabric store, JOANNs is the place. One side of the store is filled with a wide array and variety of different materials and prints. If youre looking for inventory for other crafts, you might find what youre looking for or you might not. While there is a huge selection, the offering per section can sometimes be sparse or unimaginative. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The ability to use my coupons on my purchases is often times hit amd miss, but the staff has helped me in that area when asked.

As a crafter new to the area I was thrilled to have a store so close to home. The staff was amazing at helping me fins what I needed and showing me extra goodies during my visit.

This place is okay. Sometimes its expensive, sometimes its disorganized. They dont go in for more modern prints like lizards, robots or other traditionally boyish things against pink or purple backgrounds, which disappoints my 4 year old. But they have all the tools youll ever want or need to do anything with fabrics, so theres that I guess

Customer service sucks when you call in. I called to see if they had a ball of a specific yarn. Gave her the name, type and color on yarns wrap. She told me she didnt have time to shop for me. Online they wanted $8.00 to ship a ball of yarn that cost $6.00.... They just lost a customer. Theres no option for no stars, or thats what theyd get.

Im a big fan of JoAnn fabrics. Its definitely more expensive than getting stuff from Wal-Mart, but they have a much better selection of good quality items! I loooooove the fabric selections, and there is often great fabric sales. The staff there is very helpful and friendly as well!

They had a good selection of items but their prices were a little high.

Higher priced than Hobby Lobby and the Caron yarn is so rough! Ill never purchase that again! $10 down the drain. The only good thing is they are always giving out coupons, which I guess is necessary for the high prices and lack of customer assistance on the floor.
