Lonesome Elk is the absolute best and the atmosphere is priceless. I drove almost 2 hours each way just to get the experience of this shop. Owner is extremely knowledgeable and funny! I texted Tom at 8:00 pm. Told him my crossbow string popped off and was wondering if he could fix it.. Obviously thinking about the next day. He responded how far are you away? I said 15 minutes. He responded see u then. Fixed in 15 minutes. Refused money. I’m amazed. What a great man. I’m going to tell everyone about Lonesome Elk. He got my business for ever!!!!

Tom is a Jedi master with setting up a bow, simply put. Dont waste your time going anywhere else if youre in the area. Hes got most stuff youre already looking for and will try to get it if he doesnt, plus hes very, very fair with his prices. The best part is hes been doing this for a while and will tell you how it is, so youre not buying into all the archery/bowhunting snake oil thats out there.
