My 10 year old computers graphics card just died and I decided it was time to purchase a new computer. Walked into Best Buy and was helped by Zach. In a very short time he helped me select a new computer at a reasonable price. In the past salesmen have tried to pressure me to buy expensive equipment I dont need but Zach didnt do that. He helped me find a reasonable computer that I hope will last for another 10 years.

Best Buy you have to do better. What a disaster of a phone system and process you have. It is a headache, waste of time and a hassle to shop with you. No customer wants to deal with that. No one I talked to had a clue what they were doing or talking about. I spent an hour and 11 minutes with your warranty people and got absolutely nowhere over the phone. I was switched to 4 different people. I ended up having to drive an hour and a half to the closest best buy and had my issue resolved in 5 minutes. Thank you Michael who works in the geek squad department in Terre Haute, IN for being a professional. I think Best Buy can learn something from Michaels professionalism, customer service skills and knowledge.

Oh my gosh! This store is tops on my list. I always like shopping in Best buy anyway, but this particular store is excellent. Every associate that I talk to had a smile and an attitude of helpfulness. Especially the lady who helped me, Edina, who labored hard to try and understand what exactly I needed in an electric part for my stereo, and when she could not exactly tell me what I needed, she asked me very kindly if I could wait just a moment while she found someone who knew more. The coworker she summoned was able to help her and me both, and to say they went the second mile in solving my problem is an understatement. Besides just trying to find the item I needed in their inventory, they promised me the help of seeking even more informed people in the store to make sure that I got the specific piece of equipment I needed. I guess the two of them probably spent about 15 minutes with me, that was clearly with the intention of making sure I was completely satisfied and taken care of. My only regret, is that this only allows me to leave five stars. If there was 10 stars for this store I would rate it 10. and also, highmarks to malachi, who helped me in another department with my purchase.

Had some troubles with some speakers I had just bought. I made a few mistakes with the gain and wiring. They helped me out on a Saturday and took care of everything. Went out William went out of his way to make sure my system was sounding nice again. Really appreciate you man !

Its ok. Appliances now cost twice what they did a couple of years ago (but I assume that is due to the pandemic). Also, the selection is no longer as good as it use to be. Ive also had a few issues with not getting the special edition of a video game when I preordered the special edition.

That’s not to mention increased competition from online retailers as well.A word to local BB management: defy corporate and do away with all face covering requirements and signage immediately. One of my favorite places!!! Employees are Knowledgeable and always willing to help or look stuff up. Amazing selection on all things tech related as well as a great selection of appliances. They also install almost everything they have and that includes Car and Truck Stereos!!! The installed one in my 96 Z71 over 15 yrs ago and it is one of the best all around sounding stereos I have ever heard. I have been complemented on it soooo many times throughout the years its crazy. It sounds great with all genres of music! Rock Screams, Classical has all the complexities and ranges needed, Rap and R&Bs bass, will shake the windows of the establishments you go by or the car is your next to! I just sold my truck a few months ago and the kid that has it is still showing off that same system!!! One of my better decisions was to hav Best Buy put that system in that truck! I guess, this is my Thank you Best buy! I know others will be thankful to me if the take my advice and go to you guys! 😂💙🤘

On August 27th my husband spent a little over $1200. Most of the purchase was for our sons MacBook Pro. Our son recieved his computer Sept. 10th. We knew there would be a delay which was no problem. My son took his old computer and his new computer to Best Buy in Evansville to just transfer his info. My son was informed he would have to pay the $200 annual fee for their Geek Squad service. I then called the Terre Haute store. The gal on the phone said it would be a one time $100 to transfer his stuff or we could purchase the $200 fee for the Geek Squad. We shouldve asked if there was a fee for that service before we purchased the computer. I just assumed since we spent that amount with them that would be a courtesy service. Lesson learned: purchase items from locally owned and operated businesses who pride themselves on customer service. Stay away from the big box store!

Went to buy a flatscreen and maybe a soundbar. Wanted to look for the latest Samsung phone since Im ready for an upgrade. Also wanted to check out the new Oculus. There were hardly any customers in there. Not one employee offered to help us.We stood in the tv section for a good ten minutes waiting while they conversed with each other. I walked around the entire store and nothing. Disgusted we left and went to Walmart and bought a TV.

They were out of a lot of items and still had price tags up for them which was confusing as to what they actually had. Finally found what we wanted only to find out cheaper at Walmart but because of their requirement to have Best Buy specific model numbers, they wouldnt price match. Went to Walmart and saved $150 on the same thing.The salespeople were very helpful once we flagged them down.

Only reason I did not give 5 stars is because they are sold out of almost everything. Also the gentleman I spoke to did not know what he was doing as far as finding a compatible laptop charger for a Lenovo. Regardless, always a pleasure in there and clean. Avoid during Black Friday and wear your mask!

Not good, having already had one lap top go bust, now my new one is having problems and Best Buy is taking a long time in fixing it. Its been over a week and its not fixed. They said they sent it to the factory. I just checked and its still at the store, a nice investment on my HP Laptop at the tune of 300 dollars!l

Nice place to get electric items. The only problem and I guess it not a “problem” but the employees are like all over you when you go to Best Buy. So I guess it’s not a bad thing that the employees are doing there job and trying to help but after you tell them your good I am just looking or I am looking while I wait for someone the still stay and watch you. So yea like I said it’s not bad but at the same time I would like my space after I tell them I am in need of no help at the time. I would still recommend my family and friends to visit and buy at Best Buy.

I am in search of a new TV. I have done my research, found the model, make and options I want. Ordered one on the local best buy website, paid for it and as I was south today I decided to wait on them to tell me it was ready and do curbside pick up. I realized I clicked in store pick up and tried 3 times to call you see if I could change it.Twice my calls were on hold over 10 minutes and I never got anyone to answer the phone. Long story short the TV ended up not actually being available and I got a notice on my phone to tell me that. Wasted about an hour and a half of my time today.

After a nightmare situation with Verizon trying to purchase a replacement phone for our phone, we decided to just go to Best Buy in hopes they would sell it to us. We walked in, Emily asked to help us, we pointed at the phone we wanted, she got it for us and also got our screen shield and case. After checking us out, we asked for help moving the sim card into the new phone. Tyler happily offered, got our phone turned on, applied the shield, and put in the case. This transaction took less than 30 minutes. THAT is customer service and we will return soon!

You always find good help here. The last time I was here, an associate walked me around the store to get different things on my list. Their selection isnt the same as on-line; so if you know what you want ahead of time, its best to check their inventory online and have it shipped to store if necessary.

I had just spent the last 3 weeks arguing with DELL about my computer I tried to buy from them and all I got was corporate runaround and they even hung up on my calls over FIVE TIMES! The staff are super friendly. If you need help there is always someone ready to help you. I wish Best Buy still had someone to answer phone calls in store. Unfortunately this changed almost 2 years ago. When you call any store number, phone calls are redirected to the Best Buy call center.

Bad experience Called at 10:01 am when the store was to just open now Thirty five minutes of being on hold and never speaking to a live person once I gave up and tried to chat with someone even called the corporate offices . This manager should be fired for not making his staff answer the phone. Without customer service you will never make it as a business. Geek squad is a service they sold me and apparently dont want me to use or they would answer the phone. Big bunch of bad service and the chat was horrible. Refused to provide me with the corporate number and kept asking for my number. The issue was over them charging my credit card without my permission and renewed service that came with a purchase a year ago. I have never used the service due to not being able to schedule an appointment. Vicious circle of bad service and deceit on their part for doing so.

Lets face it, B&M stores are dying out and the limited selection and lackluster customer service places like this are offering... Well, theyre not doing themselves any favors. On the plus side, having product delivered to the store is cheap and convenient - yeah, I could have my goods delivered to my house, but I have to run a few other errands so it all works out. On the downside, good luck finding someone actually AT the cash register when you go to check out. Its so aggravating, sometimes I just leave without buying anything because there seems to be no organization at the front of the store.
