1.Ridiculously over priced 2. Website lies about what the trucks actually are (example) they say SLT and its an ST. few thousand dollar difference. 3. when you have the true values and history of the vehicle they lie and say that your wrong. The truck i was looking at, they listed at $31,888. The value through NADA, the site they said they use, said Clean Retail $26,475. KBB said $26,345, and running the VIN number through CarFax the truck comes up at $26,360. They said the LOWEST price they can go is $29,995 DONT LET THEM ROB YOU!!!!! with that said Dave seemed like a good guy. Kody is a douche.

Buying a truck sight unseen is always a scary thing but I will personally recommend Texas Diesel Store! Frank was awesome! He sent me videos and pictures and anything I asked for just to make sure I was getting the same truck I was trying to buy. I purchased a 2015 Ram 2500 megacab and he is a diesel guru. The pictures look way better than what showed up on a trailer. Tons of broken interior pieces that were never mentioned or shown in pictures, had to replace blower motor resistor, bad power steering pump, which if you know on a duramax it operates the braking system as well. Radio barely worked, they said it would come with a full tank of diesel, it came with half a tank. All of the transmission lines were leaking and needed to be replaced. Also, i doubt the oil had even been changed like they said because when i looked at the oil filter it sure as heck wasnt brand new.

I bought a 2012 Dodge 2500 from these guys and it took almost 2 months to get my title and in that time frame the U joint went out and the driveshaft fell out. Now finally I go to get the truck inspected in Missouri where I live and it failed because the ball joints are bad on the passenger side. I’m not telling you this is a bad place just sharing my experience with Texas Diesel Store

No lie, we were only shopping around for trucks today. Not intending to buy. We found ourselves at this little gem location with a variety of trucks to offer. Dont be deceived! There are many more in the garage. Great deals, friendly service, and prices that are hard to argue. Shopping around turned into a purchase. I Worked with Drew and Frank for about a week over the phone and text, I received videos and a lot of good knowledge from the two Gents. When I came down the truck was in good shape had a few dings and minor issues but nothin you cant expect out of a 150 k rig. Overall satisfied made a 15 Hr trip back to Cheyenne Wyoming. You have to have money to buy a diesel truck, every used car or truck will break down its just a matter of when these other reviews that are negative are for people dont have money and are upset with maintaining their rig . I recently contacted whoever is in control of the texting part of Texas Diesel Store. I do not have a name because the salesman didnt give it to me even when I asked. I was simply trying to negotiate price with the gentleman, but he wanted nothing to do with that. Instead the conversation basically turned into who knows the market better right now. I simply wanted to negotiate price on a truck THEY have. Instead the UNKNOWN salesman just wanted to argue how much my trade in vehicle was worth. Overall the experience was like arguing with a child trying to get him to eat his dinner. Very immature. Very unprofessional.

I first contacted David in reference to a 2008 Silverado 2500 Duramax. I made them a reasonable offer just $1,000 below their asking price. I never heard back from them for two days until I called again and finally spoke with David again. I wanted to buy the truck and was prepared to pay their asking price but all I asked were some more detailed pictures of the blemishes in the truck that I could see from their pictures. David told me that he would get back to me with those pictures but never did. Before we got off the phone, I told The salesman that I intended to buy the truck and wanted to just move forward, I just wanted the pictures to know exactly what I was getting and not be surprised when I flew there to pick it up. He reassured me he would send the pictures but never did. Each day I tried to call to finish dealing with them and After three days of texts and voicemails, I gave up. Little do they know I was pre approved for $45k and ended up buying a more expensive truck in Utah two days later hassle free!!!!!!DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THESE PEOPLE!!!!They won’t spend any of theirs on you. No common courtesy and they just ignore you if you ask them for anything!!!! Their loss!

Yeah you get 1 🌟.... Well to start I filled out a credit app and was wanting to DEAL with someone. I knew I had negative equity in my 06 Silverado but usually a car dealer will work with you on these things. And after not hearing back for 2 days I had to call. The guy says yeah Ill get that looked up for you. So he does and is like well Ill get back with you and let you know something. Ok now a day later still havent heard anything so I call back...... Same story.... I wait another day or two and same story again. Then I finally texted them saying that by this point I have gotten the hint and pretty much figured I wasnt a good candidate or customer material but it was pretty screwed up that they couldnt even give me an answer. To make an already long story short they wanted me to put down 4k for the negative equity and another 2500 for title and other fees. I didnt mind to put down the 2500 but I really would have thought they would work with me over 4000 dollars, maybe add it to my loan or something or god forbid do some good old fashioned dealing. Not to mention I had more than enough to buy a truck outright but who wants to fork out that kind of cash if you dont have to? So basically they ran me and my wifes credit so we took a hit for nothing. To the next guy.... Dont go jumping in expecting to be treated like a customer. I bet if I walked in with 40,000 cash they would have been my best friend.

Bought a 2007 Dodge 3500 Mega Cab 4x4 5.9L SRW Auto. Truck driver as leveled with brand new wheels and new 35 tires. Tires rubbed the fenders because they dont have the right offset and they didnt put an adjustable track bar on to re-align the front axle. I really screwed up not driving down to inspect the truck before buying. Videos and pictures made it look pretty pristine condition. Finally got it shipped, couldnt get the title. Finally got the title a few weeks later. There are hail damage dents all over the roof and the back window was siliconed to hide the rust from the original Texas truck. It didnt help when I found the head gasket that was blown on a truck with 150K miles. I overpaid dearly for this truck.....

I will start off by saying you can go into the dealership and have great customer service but as soon as you walk off that lot and try to continue working a deal they become rude and want nothing to do with you. Mind you my boyfriend and I live in Lubbock and drove down to look at the truck that he was set on. Upon arriving we drove the truck everything seemed to be going fine, get back to the dealership and start noticing small things wrong motor wise and both of the guys working there try to tell us its supposed to be like that because its deleted. My boyfriend is very knowledgeable when it comes to diesels and knew it wasnt supposed to be like that but they were sticking to their asking price. I had my eye on the blue 5.9 they have on their lot and let them take a look at my 03 5.9 to trade in. Once again I bought the truck from American Truck Source less than a year ago,(if you didnt know texas diesel store and american are all managed by the same people) for $20k they gave me a trade-in value over text for $11,500 2 days before then when I get there they drop down to $9k and say i pretty much got screwed when I bought it. Well looky there they talk down on their own trucks they sold and try to trade them in for little to nothing just to price it again at $20k!!!! Overall not happy, my boyfriend went ahead and did the credit app wouldnt hear back until Tues. with it being a holiday weekend, get a call and says they can only do $15k trade in on his truck when once again days before they told him they would do $17k no problem. DO NOT buy a truck from here or American. You will have problems with your truck just like i did a few weeks after purchasing and I would love to see how many people actually get financed through them because i bet it is a very small amount. RUN FAR AWAY from this place!!!

Against my better judgment, I purchased a 2012 ram without flying down from Ohio to check it out first. I asked several questions and was fed lies from the sales weasels from the start. The truck would not even start due to bad batteries when it arrived on the semi. The driver stated that they jumped it to get it on the truck.2 days later after 4 inches of snow fell here I put my 45k mile truck in 4wd and all hell like sounds banging from the drivetrain which Im now investigating. After 2 calls placed to the dealership I have not received 1 call back. They claimed the truck is serviced and ready to drive anywhere. After installing my new batteries, I turned the key and message on the dash says oil change due.I checked the dipstick and the oil is black as coal.Fly in and drive home would have stranded me at the first fuel station I would have stopped, had I flew down. I screwed up by trusting these clowns. I hope you do not.Btw my first rating was deleted .

If you plan on buying from these people, and your traveling from any excessive distance I urge you to think twice. From the beginning... I live in wyoming. Im 1000 miles away. I found a truck I wanted and I called to inquire. The guy seemed pretty cool and answered my questions. The three main questions were 1. Are the any mechanical issues I need to be aware of. 2. Im very particular with my things and if Im going to travel this far, I want to know what flaws it has on the exterior. 3. Are there any tips, holes, tears or wear on the leather seats. I was told no mechanical issues, it has one dent and a few light scratches that should buff out (sent pics) and no flaws on the interior. I then gave him my debit card info to give him $500 to hold the truck for me for a few days until I was off from work and I could fly down. I paid almost $300 for a plane ticket to get from wyoming to austin. They had someone pick me up there and drive me to the dealership. I get there and immediately notice the bed looks like a golf ball, and the driver seat has a tear in it. At this point Im pretty disappointed. I proceed to driving it. It seemed ok. A little sluggish off the start like most un tuned cummins are. I get back to the dealer and I said hey, ya know Im pretty disappointed. I asked specifically about the seats and dents and i was assured the truck was in great shape. Im $300 into flying down here and $500 in a deposit. I want my deposit back. They said no. I really didnt want to leave empty handed and have to find a ticket back to wyoming. I still liked the truck and finally talked them into giving me $250 back. I start my drive home. I get roughly 380 miles into my trip home and I get a check engine light. Now Im pissed off. I get to an auto zone and have them read the codes and they are turbo related. I text the salesman and said what was going on and he asked if I was stranded and if the truck ran. I said yes. He them told me this copy and pasted via text. We have the powertrain inspected which is the most important and most costly to repair. At the time of sale the truck was running and driving like it should or you would have not purchased it. You seemed very mechanically inclined and knew exactly what to look for since you were a previous diesel owner. If we had a machine or computer that would only let us know when parts on a truck would fail, we would not sale trucks but just charge people to let them know when they would have mechanical or electric failures. Your first text stated you were 350 miles away from our location before the first light came on. Unfortunately things happen that we cant control. All trucks are sold as is just just like you signed for on the paperwork. Feel free to call Frank... So now I get to stew for another 15hrs in a broken truck I just paid 37k for. Fast forward to getting home. I take it to the shop in town here. I ended up with a broken turbo which cost be $3000. Also within a month the brakes that were supposedly new were toast, I found that the DVD player in the head rest didnt work, and I spent $600 in pointless dent repair and still havent paid the $500 for the top half of the ripped seat. Ready for the strange part? After all is said and done. I got no help. It was sold as is. So now I paid 37k for a truck. Put about 5k in parts into and COINCIDENTALLY the card I have them the numbers for for a deposit mysteriously started spending money in fort Worth a few days after I got back in wyoming when I never used it for anything else.... I suggest you think twice about these people.

Well.. we found a truck!!!! & it wasnt from these cocky SOBs. spent about 5 hours at this store.... the sales manager acted like he didnt give two shits about selling us a vehicle (despite our preapproval for our vehicle loan). he was too fkn busy dealing with big shots who were flying into Killeen to buy a vehicle the next day, to bother giving a crap about the average Texas boy wanting to buy a $30,000 vehicle from him. (the mechanic was pretty nice... not bashing him. but the sales manager was a prick). I wouldnt recommend these guys to anyone. not to mention. ... the couple of trucks we test drove were total POS... ragged out and run down....& the Dodge that we were interested in - ended up having a recall on the airbags that these dudes didnt even bother to have it fixed. IGNORANT! (plus the countless other little bullshit problems with it. & the fact that they were asking wayyy more than it was valued at). but hey... i understand having a selection of crap vehicles along with nice vehicles... what i dont understand is having a shitty personality and working in car sales! lmao. if youre looking for a diesel truck... drive to Austin, Texas and visit the guys at Lone Star Auto. they set a true example of what customer service is all about! unless you want to be treated like a nobody- dont visit Texas Diesel Store! oh yeah.... & screw yall and yalls piece of crap trucks and scummy customer service!!!!!

BEWARE BEWARE!!!!!!! Flew from Indiana to Texas to buy 2006 duramax was listed as a one owner pew-paw truck I ask tons of questions regarding truck and everything was yes sir yes sir. This truck was in terrible condition, fenders flares were lose bumper covers flapping when driving, check engine light came on 1 minute into test drive, The bed was cracked where a headache rack was removed, exhaust was covered in dry mud, cv joint were covered with oil and mud, the bottom side of truck was all rusty. Transmission cooler lines were leaking, headliner was falling down all across front windshield, Needless to say dont waste your time or money with these guys, I had to rent a car to get home.
