So I get it it’s a kids pawn shop type of deal! But they are beyond cheap and definitely not worth the time! Today I took two damn near brand new never used baby bouncer and a baby chair with activities. I got $13.50 for both items that I spent well over $90 for both items! It’s a waste of time and really not worth anything back! Unless you desperately need $5 cause that’s all your gonna get for anything you bring in new or used! I will never come back I rather take my chances selling on OfferUp then to come here and get bare minimum for my nice baby stuff!They tried to reply and say that these items cost $15 in stores I can show receipts that’s this item doesn’t cost $15 in any store besides yours! You guys are beyond cheap. And like I said before I’ll never do business here again it’s not even worth the gas money you’ll be wasting taking your items to this place!!This item alone cost over $85
I was in town for doctor appointments with my 5 kids and we spent hours in this store stocking up on clothes and Halloween costumes! I was afraid we wouldnt be able to try on our clothes and being from out of town, I didnt want to have to come back to make returns. The manager saw me with my overfilled cart and 5 kids running around and he kindly asked if I needed a dressing room. He didnt say anything about my crazy crew running around and was so accommodating. He even gave me a discount since I was out of town and would be missing the sale starting the next day! We will return when we need to outfit our family again!
What an AMAZING experience! I sent a message through a Ad to find out if they had any walkers in stock before I headed to the store. It was about 7am and figured I would hear back sometime in the next few hours when the store opened. NOPE, I received a message back saying they did have some walkers and they would be happy to send me some pictures as soon as the store opened. I received a picture message showing what they had and was asked if I wanted one held for me. YES, yes I did! I sent my husband to go purchase the walker for me. He came home and said how nice and helpful “this man” was that helped him and the store was FULL of stuff. That was it, I needed to see for myself who was behind this AMAZING customer service was. I went there!I met “this man”. His name is Gabriel, the owner. What a great guy! I had a short laundry list of things I needed and he walked around the store and showed me where to find everything. One of the items wasn’t anywhere to be found. Gabriel says, I think I have one in the back, let me go look. YEP he did, and marked the price at 1/10th of what I would have paid for it new. BARGIN!They have EVERYTHING and the prices, well, they are cheaper than the goodwill and in much better condition. Between the customer service, the incredible inventory and the prices, I WILL BE BACK, over and over again!Gabriel, what you are doing there is WORKING!!! Do not change a thing. I appreciate YOU so much for helping me out the way you did. Get ready to see me a lot. I am hooked!It all started with this walker.
This is my favorite place to bring my daughter’s used items! I’ve been to other consignment stores but this one makes the best grade, as the store is very organized, items are clean, workers are friendly, there are so many great selections on clothes, shoes, you name it... and then there is the fabulous owner, Gabi... he really takes pride in his store and he gets to know each customer one on one, and that is really what makes me love this store. Personal interaction with customers and it’s not a fake personality, the man is genuine. Amazon will never be able to compete with real human interaction. Thank you and keep up the good work! 😉😀
Very clean and organized!!!! I loved how organized the toys were, others weve gone too just have them all packed onto shelves to dig through. Everyone was very helpful and kind!! I wish wed been able to find more summer clothes in my sons size, but thats the way it goes sometimes.
I stopped in tonight, brought my stuff in and was told that there was a 2 hour wait and that they close at 8. It was just before 6:30 pm. She stated that my stuff may not be looked at tonight, so I asked her if someone was going to call me and let me know if my clothes/toys would or would not be looked at tonight so that I could go home, instead of hanging out and waiting for nothing. The girl helping me looked at me like I had 2 heads and said no, they probably wont be looked at tonight, first thing tomorrow. Okay, fine then she should have just said that. There were 2 totes of clothes before mine, Im pretty sure if the two girls working were actually working, instead of just sitting there doing nothing, as they were when we walked in, they could have gotten them all done. I thought that is why they have a cut off time for bringing stuff in?
So organized !!!!! Loved it . I went today with my sister In law and 2 babies . We got there at 5:15 not knowing they closed at 5:30 and we stayed until 6 pm not once were they rude to us or told us to leave, we felt so bad once we realized on our way out but really thank you for treating us so nicely.
The staff is great, the store is clean very cute shop.
I love this place and Im so surprised by the selection of items even though its not that large of a store. I would highly recommend coming here for low-cost, lightly used items. Weve definitely saved a good chunk of money in preparation for out first child.

I tried to sell to them but they said my clothes had pet hair on them. Well ya, I have a dog so that is pretty normal. They were washed beforehand so thats a big excessive. Im very disappointed in their customer service abd will not be returning. I will just travel to kid to kid in ahwatukee.

Nice clean store with a great selection of childrens clothes (mostly babies), shoes, toys and infant necessities. Strollers, bouncers, etc. Also had a good selection of childrens size masks. Sales personnel was very nice and polite.

I love the Once Upon a Child Tempe! The store is owner operated and he truly cares for each and every customer coming into the store. It is not just shopping at this store, it is a wonderful experience. Every time I have paid them a visit they take most of my unwanted, outgrown children’s clothing and I always leave with gently used, great quality clothes.I have shopped other kids resale stores in the area and this one has the best deals hands down!

So excited this place is finally open! The owners and staff were all very friendly and the store waswell stocked with quality clothing and merchandise. Better than your average children’s resale boutique... I will be making the drive regularly to Once Upon A Child Tempe!!
Ok so we are going to be first time parents and have a ton going on (of course the baby is a lot but we are also purchasing a house and amongst other things)today we went into OUAC and were greeted by a gentleman. He took time to walk us around the store and point out not only what we asked for but also gave us some great advice. We then purchased a pack and play as well as a bunch of clothes. We obviously had no idea how to break down the pack and play, and the gentleman took the time to help us not only pack it but to show us how everything went back together. We are very thankful for the time he and will be back soon!!
WoW! Just came with my daughter for grand opening. Store is full of so many great items. Strollers, swings, toys etc. I will recommend this great store to anyone. Very reasonable prices too.

I had a pleasure meeting with the owner Gabriel. He was so helpful with explaining the process. It was my first time visiting Once Upon A Child Tempe and I am sure it wouldnt be the last one ! Got rid of my sons old clothes and left with $120 in my pocket from the store.
