I decided recently to get into the RC hobby. Husband and I went down to our local HobbyTown to check it out and get me something small to start with to learn the controls. Husband and his dad have been into the hobby for years. We talked to Corey (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) and he hooked me up with a LaTrax Rally. I love it! Great little car to start with. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back for all our hobby needs.

These guys are a great help while improving my skills in RC. If I cant figure something out they go out of their way to help me out. I send a lot of work their way and Ill continue to do so for years to come. I already have several setups that need work when I get back from the road lol

Would be a lot better if the employees would honor the return policy to a 400 dollar rc car I just purchased after being talked into it by the employee, I now have a problem with the. BAttery and there saying as. If theres nothing they can do ... For selling me a inferior product

Call first. I drove 40 minutes to go to this store only for them to tell me they’ve never even heard of the RC I have, MN D90 rock crawler. Kinda odd an RC place has never heard of a certain RC car when that’s what they sell there. Don’t waste your time like I did. Call them first.

The selection is huge! I looked at so many stores for Breyer horse models, and couldn’t find any. I wandered into Hobby town USA and the selection is awesome. They have so many of the new model Breyer Horses! Stablemates, traditional size, unicorns and all of the fun Mane Beauties and brush hair ponies and unicorns! Breyer Unicorn Blind bags too!

Very nice hobby shop. The workers seem very knowledgeable and are willing to help. Im am old guy that wanted to get an rc car and they helped me learn the basics. Their prices are also good and competitive with the online stuff. I could have got the same car online but its good to help out the actual local shops. I will be coming back for sure.

I was expecting alot more than what they actually carry for any kind of RC Car, Truck, Crawler, i brought 2 of my RC trucks in there and asked the guy working there if he had a part for my 1/5th scale Losi Dbxl-e which is a car that is still on the shelves at many hobby shops and online except for this place. So i wasnt able to fix that one so i figured id ask him about my Arrma Senton short course Rc truck and i was kinda surprised when he told me he didnt have any of the parts that i was looking for considering this Rc Truck is very popular everywhere! The one lady working there was very helpful in showing me what paint to buy and which tools she recommended. Besides that unless you have a traxxas or an airplane you will be disappointed.

Tentacles. I hate having to write reviews about shops that end up not all positive, from entering the store I was not greeted politely. I also waited to eventually be spoken to rudely from one of the staff, who was ranting more bad words than a sailor in front of customers with children, very disappointing after all that said the staffs basic knowledge of RC repairs were poor. While the parts he was looking for where hanging behind him the whole time. I myself had to point out my own parts which I found to be an inconvenience for that someone who is into RC more casual

Don’t waste your time!! Called about aftermarket parts for the Arrma Notorious. I arrived at the store after driving for 20 mins to be told they don’t really carry aftermarket parts for Arrma just mainly Traxxas and no one knew who took my home call.

Nice clean shop. Their prices were competitive with Amazon. I bought this model for $3 less than Amazon. Most of their Gundams were + or - $3 of Amazon. Their shop keeper were nice and friendly. People were stopping by to ask lots of questions.

Terrible. I just went there bought a 50t Spur gear that they told me was the right size for my traxxas slash 4x4. Turns out it’s the wrong size. I drove there 3 times.

This place is by far my favorite store. Between Justin knowing everything about the rc hobby, Big Tye always being there when I need help and the rest of the amazing crew there, you cant go wrong. Love this place

Fixed me up with a new battery for my aarma car. Even soldered on the connector i needed. I had to come back to get the connector fixed but they hooked it up for me while i waited.45 year old Temecula resident

Stopped by to pick up RC truck parts for my hubby and they were very helpful and looked at pics on my phone to figure out what part I needed. Did not make me feel dumb for not knowing anything! Friendly and good selection, and heard lots of expert advice being shared with other customers while I was there.

It all ranges from paints to models and RC to average kids toys. I go there a lot to buy paints and brushes. The staff are great, the store owner and manager are always patient with customers; always willing to give advice when asked.

The staff has been the most helpfull. Highly recommend.

Great local hobby shop covering a variety of hobbies, they even have a model railroad section covering the smaller scales. Great selection of wood, metal, plastic stock, paint and weathering powders. Great customer service too!

I had to go here 3 times because the workers are incompetent and have no idea what theyre selling you. Theres a reason these small businesses are all going out of business, because its easier to buy online and you wont have to make multiple trips.

Good selection for pretty much all modeling supplies. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. All of the special orders that I have placed have been in within a week. This is the best store for hobby supplies that I have found in the Temecula area. They have a good selection of bass and balsa wood, and it is less than half the price of Hobby Lobby.

The first time I went in the store was a great experience. I just went in again planning on spending $1200+ and when I asked to speak with the gentleman that I had previously dealt with the staff that was working was incredibly rude and arrogant and absolutely clueless. They should never be in customer service. I will take my business elsewhere.

Best Hobby Store in town. Exactly as I expected, with a wonderful selection and pretty knowledgeable staff. At first the one staff member I spoke with was a little standoffish and treated me as if he thought I was a waste of time. But after some continued questions I believe he realized I was a legitimate enthusiast and he then excitedly assisted me.Great place and store. Just remember not to treat them bad and you will be treated well too.

Staff has excellent knowledge and troubleshooting skills for rc cars. Great prices and free shipping when you order parts through them at the store. They are open late also.

Love this place. Especially compared to its neighboring hobby stores and ill give you a real life rundown right now.I went to hobby people of Temecula last night (1/29/14) and waited by the parts counter for fifteen minutes before another older man walked up (i am nineteen). THEN did an associate walk up to him and ask to help him. Thankfully the man told him that i was here first, not that mad because i know what it is like to work in a busy work place even though it was dead in there. I asked for a simple part, the man spent no time looking for it and threw it on the counter then i told him i was finished and ready to check out so he proceed to help the other man and i waited an additional ten minutes by the register before i was helped just to get home to realize that he sold me the wrong part. I returned to hobby people that night, at 7:02 (2 minutes after closing) and they refused to talk to me. Never again will i go to hobby people and their shitty costumer service.When I arrive at Hobby Town I am always welcomed by the cashier and as soon as i walk up to the parts counter there is always someone willing to help me if they are not already helping someone else. In addition to Hobby Towns always eager to help attitude, if I ever have any concerns about how to use a product they will open it up and show me how it works if i purchase it. The people at Hobby Town USA are real people and after seeing how other stores treat customers (Especially if they look younger) my business will remain here. Lots of R/C Cars and Trucks and people are knowledgeable and courteous.

Really helpful staff. Had some questions about getting into the rc plane hobby, and they helped me gear up without breaking the bank. Theyve also got some supplies for miniatures like Warhammer 40k and DnD.

To be clear, this place is not a toy store it is for serious hobbyists. Train sets, rockets, RC cars and such. Quality tools and components too.

IGNORE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!!! First off, the reason why they dont let you return products is due to the nature of the hobby. Second, they only buy parts from manufactures and resell them, so defective products are not their fault. And third, they cannot memorize the names of every part of the hundreds of models they sell. I have had an excellent experience myself and dont let the others tell you better.

Ive shopped at HobbyTown Temecula for over 4 years. Never Yelped them until today to check their hours and I find so many negative reviews. I have NEVER been treated rudely or given poor service. Except for the holiday season, they usually dont have too many employees so you may need to wait to get your question answered. I dont think thats any different than any other store of this kind. The employees are quick to tell you what they do and dont know about a product to help you make your buying decision. I really like that they will order something for me that they dont usually stock and I save on shipping. Face it, theres not enough profit margin in a business that has to compete with online outlets so they cant afford to have an expert in every field on duty every day. I can say that enjoying my hobby would be much harder and more expensive without HobbyTown Temecula in my city.

Rude and unfriendly people in the car department. I now drive from Temecula to the Corona store and avoid this store all together. High prices, over list on some items and no one really knows anything about RC as I wanted to get a DX8 radio and no one could answer simple ???s and replied...I just know RC cars and youll have to come back later to ask anymore questions because Im busy stocking items.....WHAT! never again!!!!Oh yea and forget about model trains or model paints stuff very limited and sparse
