This place is AMAZING! I love their lemon pistachio donut so much. But all of their donuts are really good. Very high quality, and you definitely get your moneys worth. In my opinion, the prices are reasonable for the donut quality youre getting.
I am a picky eater. With that being said.....Every time I go into this place I have a hard time. Why?....Because out of the 5 times I have gone there has not been one time that I did not enjoy whatever donut I randomly chose. I go random because they all look soooooo good and can never decide which one to try next. Make sure you go early enough so you can see all your options because these guys run out fast!!!!!
For donuts, they dont get any better than this. I had the French Toast this morning along with two donuts. Donuts are either larger than normal or much, much larger. I am going to try the Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Bacon next time. The wait can be a little long due to The Rona and the fact that the donuts are that good. Some may not like the $5 price on the giant donuts but they are very large. Open Wednesday-Sunday.
Donut Bar has landed in Temecula! It’s been a long time coming and well worth the wait! Donut Bar truly has created a community and culture different from any other bakery. Their customer service is top notch and they are all passionate people from the owner to the cashier! Chef Santiago carefully chose each location to make sure it was run by a local family deeply rooted in creating an organic community to establish the Donut Bar culture. The donuts are beyond delicious!! Highly recommend!!
Kids love coming here.Donuts are uniquely decorated and they have some different flavors compared to a basic donut shop.In my opinion the donuts just taste like donuts, they’re good. Fairly priced for size and decorating creativity. If you’re looking for basic donuts by the dozen quick to go I wouldn’t recommend. These are large and can be messy for younger kids.
Donut Bar has a quaint indoor seating area, drink bar for coffees etc. The selection of donuts were a bit beyond the norm but the selection was not broad enough for me. Some of the donuts were large enough to feed 3 people.I will go back again one day but this isnt a place I would randomly just stop by again.
This place was amazing in San Diego and is amazing here. They just opened up shop and they are totally worth the wait in line with Vegan options and many other wonderful items on the list like grilled cheese and french toast donuts. I will definitely be a regular here now that i have one in my neck of the woods!
Dont go for vegan doughnuts unless youre desperate...priced low but also low quality. Chia one is the best of the lot but mine were over cooked (burnt in my opinion) with some kind of weird after taste...I think from the oil. The creme brulee was uneatable due to burnt taste. The pbj log had that weird after taste, too...also the jelly was kind of off. I didnt have the big novelty donuts but those seemed to be selling like hot cakes. Vegans beware and owners I apologize for posting a negative review but I just wasnt a satisfied customer.
Donuts were huge and delicious. I dont typically like donuts for breakfast, but more for a dessert so I like that they stay open late.
Beautiful place, with the best doughnuts I can ever think of. Nice, respectful staff and clean environment
The Donut Bar is absolutely wonderful! The employees who take care of the donut bar do a wonderful job. Very delicious donuts and beautiful! Definitely stop by and grab a few!
We hired the Donut Bar to cater our dessert bar for our wedding! EVERYTHING LOOKED AND TASTED INCREDIBLE! Our guests were raving! We ordered a variety of lemon pistachio, nutella, maple bourbon, homer, blood orange and vegan spiced chai. David was so friendly and easy to work with! He promptly responded to all emails and was so accommodating with any updates we made. We rented the donut peg board and it completed our entire rustic decor look! Our “wedding cake” was actually a double tiered donut and it was so dreamy! We couldn’t be happier with the way everything turned out! Thank you Donut Bar! We can’t recommend you enough!
Is this a Donut shop that serves wine and beer or a Bar that serves family friendly giant donuts. Answer, both. While the adults enjoy a drink those under age can get a spirited sugar rush. The donuts were a little more dense then average; think of a cross between poundcake and Krispy Kreme. Large donuts were $3 each and Maple bars were $1.
The Donut Bar has a tv where you can see the worker doing prep work. The lady took fresh beacon out of oven which is ready for eating. I watched her scratch her head without gloves then proceeded to cut beacon. Not something you want to see if youre going to have mapple glazed donuts.
This place is complete trash, no service, wait times are through the roof, I suggest going to your local doughnut shop over this corporate garbage.
Love absolutely no comparison I mean just look at the place and its goods
Donuts were good. They have a mimosa simpler that was very good and well worth the price.
Great donuts but coffee was terrible. I called to let them know too. No offer to replace my coffee or refund.
Unfortunately for me the donuts here are bland and greasy and then slathered in icing. If you have a huge sweet tooth and just want the sugar and grease, this is your place. But for me I need a little higher quality and more flavorful doughnut. I gave them two tries and ordered an assortment each time. Disappointed twice though, so Im off looking for better.
The donuts here look great for an instagram picture, but the taste is lacking. The donuts I ordered arrived on time and but were rather hard and greasy. The toppings and choices available here are plenty to get excited about, but the base donut tasted like it was poorly drained of the frying oil. As for texture, I noticed the dough part had a stale bite, that led to a rather bready center.Ill say that the dough here pales in comparison to the smaller donut shops dotted around the city. That said, the variety here is top notch. The french toast donut was nicer than their actual donuts. Maybe a diffent dough recipe or different cooking oil may help the donuts here taste as good as they look.
Over priced dry donut. Tasted like it had been sitting on the shelf since before ChristmasTriple Chocolate Cake and Salted Maple Cake. Go next door to the grocery store and pay .50 instead of $2.50.Im sorry but $2.50 plus tax for a old donut is crazy. But hey if people will fork out the money. Go for it
Crazy good donuts. Creations are very tasty and are a sight to look at. Mini works of art. Look forward to trying something new with each visit. Friendly and quick service. Will return much sooner than later.
We love Donut Bar! The family the runs this specific location goes above and beyond for their customers. They have unique donuts and VEGAN options! Theyre also great at responding via messenger if you have any questions.
Donuts were good, and they were really fun and well made...But, and I feel like an old person for saying this, please turn down the music. Especially since were all wearing masks these days. I could not hear the girls behind the counter at all.
Great doughnuts SLOW service.
Delicious donuts and great Apple fritter
Not super happy with my order today. Definitely not worth $7 to get a mimosa. Cup wasnt even full.Wait took longer than expected which wasnt an issue. They were busy. But the unsanitary practices of the crew, touching their face without washing their hands to go back and serve other customers. They showed a lack of knowledge for their own product, werent even able to answer basic questions.
Unique takes on the quintessential breakfast treat. Menu seems to be seasonal, and it looks like they only make one batch for the whole day. I got there at around 11AM and the place was almost essentially cleaned out. The donuts themselves are very fresh and do not feel artery clogging. At $2+ per donut, it is a place to get some cute Instagram pics while satisfying the sweet tooth.
Delicious, huge donuts in flavors that cant be believed. Dont open until 8 am on Saturday mornings; a line forms before then. Actual bar with beer and wine. Donuts and fritters easily shareable. Apple fritter with maple glaze was perfect--crunchy on outside and no doughy parts inside. Maple glaze was delicious.
I really like Donut Bar but lately their oil has been rancid and needs replacing. Please change so I can order from you again!
I had heard about this place months ago and i wanted to take my kids as a surprise but wasnt able to because they open and close so early but I made a point to get there so they can enjoy some donuts..well that was a disappointment. Dry dough, greasy frosting and an over priced mess! Never again! Dont waste your money or time.
Big donuts, very nice people behind the counter. Donuts are not tasty
Outstanding Donuts! The donuts are great. The service is outstanding! They have unusual donuts - something for everyone in your party. They last a couple of days so you wont have to waste these delicious treats.
Service is consistently above par. Prices are fair I would say.
The homor doughnut is great
My eyes loved it. It is such a cute place and I love the fact that there is a bar so parents can have a beer while children eat donuts but we tried donuts and not impressed with the taste of it. I couldnt finish my Apple fritter because it was over cooked. The chef blend coffee was very good tho.
Visited then on their Grand opening and experienced a long line, however that will door down with time. The donuts are the same that they offer at their San Diego location so you will find that the flavors are excellent although a bit unorthodox (bacon on a donut). They have an excellent grilled cheese sandwich made with donuts, of course. They also have a few options of beer, wine and mimosas. I recommend you look up their menu online before heading there just to help the line go by a bit faster. The spring area is limited but you can still hang out at the bar or patio.Overall, the product is a great novelty item and the atmosphere is pretty cool.
Interesting place. The donuts are very good and quite large. I also liked the bar type setting around the side. You could order a donut and a glass of wine, which was a cool twist. It would be nice if there was some TV to watch why sitting at the bar. However, once the familys with kids showed up it became a little noisy and the kids were running around. Its not really a kid place to hang out. So for my take, the business needs to pick what they are... the bar area should be 21 and over only, or take the kids outside, or get donuts to go, or they need to make an area for the kids to hang out.
Wow this place is sugar overload in a wonderful way. I had the bacon maple bar which was about as delicious as it gets. Definitely recommend you stop in and give them a try.
Reviewed on 2018-12-16We have been to Donut Bar in downtown San Diego and loved their well-crafted humongous donuts. My favorite is the maple bacon donut bar. I like the salty bacon taste, complementing the sweetness of maple flavor; perfect with a sip of hot coffee in the mornings. The wife loves the pistachio donut with lemon piquancy. The kids favorite was the smores donut that had a nice sweet crunch that had frosting that melted in the mouth. We are glad to have one opened up in Temecula. The line was very long during their grand opening event yesterday. We decided to stop by this morning when its not as busy. Fortunately, we came at the right time because soon after the line was beginning to build up.After this delicious breakfast, it is now time to run a mile or more.
Bad communication I go to pick up I order, the women cooking said o yes I still work on the order after 1 hour waiting she said no order for that name this is ridiculous
Good donuts and love the mimosa flights!
OMG! They have amazing and unique flavored donuts. Where else can you get mimosas and beer with your breakfast or dessert!
Bagels > Doughnuts.
Best donuts Ive ever had in my life! I first found out about Donut Bar when I went to their SD location last year. So glad theyre open in Temecula now hehe
Good but very expensive
Best donuts Ive ever had in my life. Customer service is great as well. Its a relaxed atmosphere
Awesome Donuts! So Good! Not overpriced like I was expecting. Most were $3 or $4. Definitely worth it!
The Sign said open 8am on Saturday we’ve got there but nothing is open and no donuts at all. Sad
Best donuts in the county by far, but I would not eat here. The reason I say that is because you will become hooked and wanna eat these donuts all the time, and that would mean less donuts for me. So stay away from my donut bar.
Amazing donuts and the mimosa flight is a MUST. Already planning our next trip!
Disappointed!!! The donuts themselves are a great presentation!!! They all look so yummy and BIG! After finally choosing which ones we wanted (they all looked so yummy) and paid for them (beware, they are pricy), we were ready to take that first bite. Then took a second and a third bite. Disappointment :( The ratio donut to topping is off. Way too much donut and not enough topping. The donut taste overpowered the topping and left an faint aftertaste of being fried. We also had their Hot Chocolate ($3.50 ea) since it was a cold night that took a while to get and was slightly warm. It was creamy but, the creamy taste overpowered the very mild chocolate taste. It was more of a hot vanilla only not so hot. Sorry, but I wont be going back. Too expensive for the quality. Great presentation though.
What kind of donut shop doesnt open till 8am? The one I dont go to. Employees just stand there like a deer in headlights. Miss Donuts right around the corner was happy to take my money.
These donuts are worth their calories! Great Service too!
Awesome donuts... Fresh, tasty, and even vegan options. Happy to have a location here in town!
Everything there is absolutely beautiful keep up the the good work I love you
Beer, coffee and donuts, what more can you ask??? Hubby can have a beer and I can have a coffee. Cant do that at the breweries. Have seen groups of people coming in together on a Saturday night. Let the party continue.
Went in this morning and this was my first time visiting the shop. The atmosphere was good, I ordered the Caramel Latte donut the icing, whipped cream and caramel was good but the actual donut was under cooked. Also I couldnt finish the half of the donut.
Wow - big and beautiful donuts. 1 donut can serve 2. We tried the Monte Cristo and it was yummy.
Wonderful employees and delicious donuts especially the grilled cheese along side a mimosa. A must try...
Pretty good donuts but not as good as price would indicate.
Great Place, Donuts are Delicious, coffee is good and they have beer too, Excellent Customer service
I like donuts and I like wine but the combo is not appealing to me. Problem solved just get donuts. The donuts are better here than most places and they have some huuuge donuts which are fun.
Visiting from NorCal...great donuts and cinnamon roll with bacon unbelievable!!!
Very large, decent donuts. Not a wide selection of them, however. Expectations were maybe set a little higher than they should have been based off the reviews and article.
Great place to get donuts.... Butter beer is the best for the HP fans out there!
Great donuts, coffee, beer, wine, and mimosas! Need I say more?
Ive been to the Doughnut Bar in San Diego so Im happy they have closer to me this place is awesome. I tried theyre grilled cheese Doughnut
Great donuts! Love that they have vegan donuts.
Great creative place good for kids nice arrangement and management and cool tasting unique donuts 🍩
Didnt expect what i had walked into. I was just thinkin, just ur run of the mill, standard doughnut shop. Nope, this place was a complete surprise with epic doughnuts. The Big Poppa Tart doughnut was crazy ridiculous. I couldnt eat that by myself, and i wouldnt try. My Apple Crumb was great. Will go again maybe ill split the Strawberry Split doughnut with a friend
Love the vegan donuts.
I did not liked. Everything is extremely sweet and is also very expensive.
This place probally has secrets because the Dounts are to big and they are so good 👍
So, imagine a cake thats dry and weighs 40 lbs. These donuts are made from that cake. My guess is that theyll be around just long enough for everyone to make the mistake of going there once and then theyll have to shut the doors. Now Im really curious about the one in San Diego. Perhaps I should bring a donut from this store to that one and ask the owner to sit down and try a Temecula donut together so they can see how their brand is being ruined...or are they all that bad?
