These guys are awesome and very good about working up quotes over the phone. If you are buying bulk, call them up for a quote- they also offer delivery. I will admit that landscaping materials are more expensive for private individuals trying to DIY without the help of a landscaping company... but its always nice to support a small business owner for a big project and still save some money in comparison to lowes and/or home depot. I do wish that they carried landscaping timber and xl stepping stones, but other than that, they have a pretty good selection.

Im a life-long customer, now...Once I learned (and personally confirmed) that SLM has the best prices, I stopped going to other suppliers.In addition to this, they are always quick to load my truck and answer any questions I have.I often need split loads (half yards of 2 different materials) and they make short work of that too.

Ive been here twice in the last 6 months. Not only did they have the limestone I needed in stock (when others did not), they delivered helpful service with a smile. Literally. Everyone on site seemed to enjoy their tasks and was very pleasant. The pricing is good, and I was pleased with my experience. Thumbs up.

I have used them twice, and I wouldnt dare think of going anywhere else. When they received in a shipment of what was supposed to be the white river rock, Matt called me before sending it over saying he didnt think it was a very good match to what I had already purchased. He then called me 2 months later when the correct shipment came in, and we were able to complete our project. My wife and I couldnt be more happy with the level of service and professionalism!

Stopped by to check availability of white river rock for a project and had it delivered the next day. Dropped off the Drop and Rock system (with a wheel barrel) and we were in business. Good product, fast and easy when ordering. However, I had a yard of seashell loaded in the bed of my truck and they scratched it. I needed a couple more yards but I don’t want to pick it up because of the damage to my truck. I asked them to waive the delivery fee (they charge extra for less than 3 yards) but they wouldn’t do anything. If they tried to work with me at all this would be 5 stars but because of the damage to my truck and unwillingness to work with me, 2 stars is all I can give.

This place is a gardeners dream, the potting soil I get from them has great soil, compost, and produces the Best fruit and veggies. I paid $42 for a ton of it. They have so much landscaping products, I have to keep from over spending because I want so much, great prices. Try them out for your self. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

I cannot say enough good things about the service and product at SLM. I purchased a total of 4 cubic yards of rock/ shell for my yard/garden. I was able to do the entire job by myself in a half day, solely due to the use of the “drop n rock” hoppers. The hoppers were delivered and picked up smoothly and quickly. If I had to guess, the job would’ve taken me around a week and been immeasurably harder without the drop n rocks.

Apparently we are one of the first to try out this Drop N Rock, rock feeder. Worked like a charm. Max capacity was 1.5 yards. We ran out and they had another one there the next day. Rocks, lots of rocks dumped into the wheel barrel from the chute, makes life easier. Everyone was very friendly and professional at SLM. Had a load of Cypress bags delivered as well. Looking forward to using these pros again!

Excellent experience from the moment I pulled in. Very clean, organized and well maintained facility. Was greeted as soon as I walked in, told the manager what I was looking for and he showed me a few options for the project I was working on. Made my choice for brown river rock, they loaded me up and I was on my way, zero waiting around and the price was very, very reasonable!

These guys are awesome! I have a small patio area that I just had pavers installed in. I got some shells to put in the areas that couldn’t be paved on one side and topsoil and pine bark mulch in the area where I planted some bushes and flowers. The prices here are very reasonable and They have more than enough choices for landscaping.

Everything went as planned. 4 yards of stone delivered using the Drop & Rock hoppers. The delivery driver was courteous and very efficient. With the Drop & Rock hoppers we got the job done in 2 hours, much quicker than we had figured. Ive recommended them to some neighbors and will be calling them again as my projects continue. They were referred to me by several professional landscapers who handle the large projects on my properties.

Customer service is always great. large property with easy access with a large truck and trailer. Selection of product available is excellent. Bring the kids inside and paint landscaping rocks to top off the experience. These guys know what they are selling and know the best product for the application. I drive past 4 home depots and blowes to support slm.

Pro: Friendly staff, quick delivery, potting soil mix seems good (by no means an expert, but neighbor thought it was good stuff).Con: Found part of a plastic hanger, a few black insulated wire chunks, a few rocks, a couple snail shells and two pieces of flat glass in the 3 cubic yards I received. Understand some natural stuff could be in anything, but part of a clothes hanger and glass was a bit disappointing to see.

SLM is a very clean and organized place. The customer service is great. I’ve bought few times there. The last time I bought 5 yards of mulch and it was good quality and great price. Ray and Bob run a very nice operation there. Congratulations guys!

The DROP N ROCK is amazing!!! I will never do another landscaping project without it, it saved us a lot of time and let us avoid all the back breaking work of shoveling (which was important since my husband and I both have prior back injuries!!). The people at SLM were all also very polite and professional and the material is reasonably priced.

I had 2 cubic yards of pea gravel delivered and, based on past experience, figured it would be a full weekend worth of effort to get it into a wheelbarrow and dumped into place. I could not believe that I got the whole load done in about 4 hours because of the Drop & Rock. Great price, product and service.

Bought numerous time from them. Will get a bunch of buckets and fill them up, pay, and be on my way. Showed up today and they said theyre too busy to let me fill up buckets. Told her Ive done it many times, she said NO, we wont do buckets today. She was beyond rude about it. Well, they wont get my business anymore.

Very unhappy and disappointed, my first time using them..i ordered 40 bags of mulch and 8 yrds of topsoil to be delivered to my house. They said they put the bags of topsoil on top of the dirt...instead of tossing the bags next to the dirt, according to Matt its time sensitive yeah so was the $300 i just spent with you!!. I think the driver could have taken 15 minutes to toss on the ground. Instead the driver dumped the 8 yrds of dirt on the mulch, everything at once!. My neighbors saw what was happening walking towards the driver to tell him hes burying the bags!!. Instead he waved and drove away!! My neighbors and i dug the bags out when i got off work....never again would i use them and cannot recommend them!!!

My experience with SLM has been great! From the first phone call where the guy (Matt) was really nice and answered my Qs to the delivery of 3 yards of seashell to my driveway. Scheduled & delivered as promised. We used the new DropBox and it was awesome! Even comes with its own wheelbarrow! It was soooo easy to load the wheelbarrow, no back breaking shoveling! Out of 3 dropboxes (3 yards, 1 yard per box) I dropped only 3 shells in the driveway...its was totally mess-free! A very good invention and I highly recommend it for loose shells/mulch/rock, etc. :))))

Bought 60 yards of crushed shell rock paid over 3,000.00 . During the delivery the driver had broken two spots in my driveway call the owner he says he’s not liable he’s liable to take your money but not liable for any damage cause on your property not very good business in my opinion so just be aware.
