The pharmacist here is terrible, rude and likes to play doctor. Refused to fill a valid prescription (after accepting it an hour before) electronically sent by a legitimate doctor because she didnt feel comfortable. Then said she needed to speak to the doctor and would get around to it whenever. Once the doctor did call personally, the excuse changed to the pharmacy not having enough to fill the Rx. Clearly this happens often, seeing the other reviews. The store owner or manager should be aware that she is being reported for ADA violations and probably send her on her way. Such a rude and nasty person.

I was on hold for about 40 minutes altogether. Three phone calls since they kept hanging up. When a pharmacist finally answered and introduced herself, I asked her to please not put me on hold because Id been on hold for 40 minutes and its ridiculous. She gave me an attitude and said no one has been on hold for that long. So I explained to her that I was because it was my third time calling. Says theyre super busy and the patients that are there are the priority. Whatever. I asked her to check for my patients prescription to make sure it went through. Puts me on hold and after 10 minutes, I hung up. Not wasting any more of my time with such rude staff

I don’t know who answered the phone for the pharmacy, but holy shut they were SO rude, the automated voice when you call says “for all other calls, press 1 OR stay on the line” so I pressed 1, was on hold for 10 minutes, then a lady answered and asked for the prescription and I said I didn’t have one, then she snapped and said “are you a dr or patient” so I said I was a patient and then she cut me off and again snapped “this is a drs line only so you’re just holding up drs trying to put in a prescription.” I told her what the automated voice said and she ignored me and asked for date of birth, and the date of my second dose, then said “it’s fixed” and then hung up on me.

I love this pharmacy and have been coming here for years since I was a child. Glad to know I’m not the only one experiencing the rude pharmacy staff member... she was extremely rude to on the phone when I called and ask about my child’s prescription being ready to pick up.. She cut me off mid sentence and proceeded to yell in my ear “ It’s ready for pickup!” And hung up on me... this isn’t the first time she has been rude to me. She always sounds annoyed and like she hates her job. CBS take care of this ASAP YALL are losing customers. I may switch to another pharmacy as well.

Would not fill my prescription that the doctor ordered. originally told me it needed approval from insurance. I brought it in at 9:30am.then I come back to pick it up after multiple multiple delays. They say prescription fill date is for a month and half out. I just got surgery. why would I have a prescription for after Im recovered? Its a pain medication. This should honestly go down as malpractice. It is not the pharmacists job to determine what prescription I should or should not have. Especially post surgery. Thats my doctors call not yours. You all should be investigated.

This pharmacy consistently wastes my time. Today makes for the third time this year where the pharmacist has elected to bypass CVS and DEA policy to make her own call as to whether or not I actually need the medication my doctor prescribed for me. Its not like its opiates or benzos or something crazy. Not only did the pharmacist know that I had been waiting for an hour in store, she also treated me like I am to be judged by the type of medicine in my life. She would not even speak to me about it.

The girl working there was very professional asked her where the gloves located she was very helpful and showed me where they were and that they are out of them the guy that was hergr was very rude she asked him where does he think is another CvS thats open and he raises her voice at her and says any other CvS up and down the road is open if you have a smart phone you can check and see very unprofessional as someone thats been in retail for over 20 years I will not let anyone talk to me or any other person in that type of way will never go to this store again. I would have given it 0 starts but 1 star is the only option.

I asked to have a prescription transferred from Walgreens and the person on the phone was extremely rude to me. She was annoyed and kept saying things like “okay well what do you want me to do?”. Then when I repeated it to confirm, she goes “That’s literally what I just said”. Like how hard is it for you to understand?? And then she kept saying “We’re not in Tampa”, like yes that’s the reason why I’m transferring because now I live in the tarpon area? What kind of pharmacy is this, you shouldn’t give attitude to customers???

I would give zero stars if I could.I have been a customer of the CVS on Linebaugh and Sheldon for years, but recently moved to the Tarpon/Holiday area where I had my prescriptions transferred. In the 4 short weeks that I have been using the CVS on Tarpon, I have experienced negative experiences on 3 separate occasions.To agree with some of the other reviews - Yes, the drive through is sickeningly slow. Drive through pharmacies tend to move a little slow, but this is just inexcusable.Twice now, I have experienced rude employees. One of which just hung up on me mid-sentence. When I asked her how her day was, she responded with Good, now how can I help you?I dont care if I have to go back to my doctor for new prescriptions. I will be transferring away from this pharmacy immediately. I may even make the 30 minute drive to my old pharmacy. Take my word for it and stay away from this place.

How can you call yourself a pharmacist when you outright ignore doctor directions in a prescription order? Or did you just not read it?If you dont have a medicine in stock the way it is ordered, dont fill it with something close to it. Or attempt to call my doctor to try to change the prescription. It was written according to my health reasons and for you to try to change it so you can fill the script is absolutely outrageous. I have been filling my prescriptions here for over a year and Ill be moving all my prescriptions over to Walgreens.

I went into the cvs minute clinic Thursday afternoon. Of a sickness called bronchitis which requires antibiotics to treat it. They told me I didnt need antibiotics so they prescribed steroids instead. Well I didnt take them because of the side effects. So I started getting worse. So I did a video visit with CVS on Saturday morning. And I had to fight the doctor tooth and nail just to get antibiotics. They tried to tell me the the zpack antibiotic was only for people with pneumonia in fact its not just for them. It is used for all upper respiratory infections. Including bronchitis. So I would like to know why these people are so willing to offer there services and not help patients with acute bronchitis????

This pharmacy is a joke. The will literally allow people to tie up the line by sitting and waiting for their prescriptions to be filled... And I dont blame the customers for doing so, its the pharmacy I blame for not having any sort of logistics/decent que management. Stay away from CVS if you can.

So I went to pick up scripts for my sick kids...with my sick kids. They were called in by Dr. so I could pick up on my way home. They said they werent ready wait 20 min. So I asked the Pharmacists a question he responded rudely and talked to me like I was a child. I told him he was being rude and he said he doesnt have time for ignorant people. So I have 2 degrees I am not ignorant. Whats ignorant is bad attitudes. After that I waited an additional hour and a half for my childrens scripts...with sick children. All because I told him he was rude. I will never spend money there and I will tell everyone I know not to. If you need a ride to another pharmacy message me I will drive you just so you dont go there. Everyone else was nice just the old negative nasty pharmacist.

In and out quickly, which for this visit was important. Pleasant staff. Greeted several times while in the store. The only drawback is the novel of a receipt you recieve at check out.

Here is a new feature of the tarpon springs CVS. when calling to check on your scripts (because they are usually wrong) you must endure a new 10 minute covid infomercial script by the same voice actor that you could only take about 30 seconds of before wanting to strangle him through the phone.I can honestly say that I have experienced the worlds slowest drive-thru. Make sure you stop and get gas before you attempt to pick up any of your medications here. Maybe even bring lunch. quick tip: when trying to estimate your wait times for the drive-thru each car represents a 10 to 20 minute wait.

If I could give them less than a star I would. I was in there July 19th. Three people in the pharmacy and not a one of them wanted to help me. They just stood there talking and ignoring me. Then finally some black women slowly strolled out and I mean SLOWLY strolled out from the back taking her time and acting like it was an imposition to even help check me out. At the front counter the check out girl was slow and rude too. Horrible customer service. No one wants to do their job..

Dont waste your time with this pharmacist. Your job is to fill prescriptions and doesnt seem like its part of the day to day. News tells you to go get your prescriptions filled because of a hurricane and all of a sudden you cant get your meds filled anywhere. Not first time CVS has let me down. Bad enough I have to take chemicals in the 1st place, but on top of that they gonna make you feel like ur doing something wrong. Thats the world we live in everyone wants to be in control. No thanks

If I had one nice thing to say let’s jus say I wouldn’t be able to say anything at all, First I called and spoke with a pharmacist to see if the medication was in stock and she told me per policy she couldn’t tell me over the phone and I had mentioned the same company/pharmacy 15miles away was able too tell me over the phone..so I asked is it only this store ?and she was like and what did they tell u? I said he told me they was out and good luck trying to find it and she was like exactly I’m being honest with u do u want me to lie to u like they did ?were not able to disclose that information unless u present the script to us in hand .. so I’m like fine I’ll just go there I took my script inside to the drop off window to be only told that they didn’t have my medication in stock .. so I asked the technician how long would it be and she went to the pharmacist who looked at me and then at the script and said “ I don’t have that” and walked away.. the techinician was like we want have the medication until thurs of next week and I’m like okay the first pharmacy I called told me they can ship it in 2-3 business days so that’s like Tuesday but I prefer this pharmacy because it’s closer for me and she rudely said “ I JUST TOLD YOU IT WANT BE UNTIL THURSDAY OF NEXT WEEK” and handed me my script back! I’m like I heard what you said but it’s thursday it takes a whole week to order a medication? And she jus stood there and looked at me.. so I jus kindly took my script and went to Walgreens and they filled my script on site without hesitation or any problem the technicians and pharmacist was so polite .. it’s jus sad how judgemental the world has become today we stereo type people by the way we look whether it’s the color of our hair and skin or the way ur dressed .. I wasn’t some drug seeker looking for my next fix.or a college kid looking for a high. ima registered nurse that was dressed down that day and truly suffered from attention deficit disorder who is prescribed this medication to stay focused and on Task day to day ! I’ll never go back to CVS as long as i live on this earth cus not having the medication, that’s completely understandable but to jus leave me standing there with no direction and help is jus flat out wrong! If it did come next week why did you give me back my script? You didn’t ask me if I wanted to wait, You didn’t offer to put it in the computer so the order can be placed and script could be filled on that date... I’ll never support a company that allows their employees to treat people this way because one thing is for sure I wasn’t the first and I want be the last! #TEAMWALGREENS

My wife had a C Section on wednesday. We just got home with the baby tonight. Apparently the two 24 hour locations near my house have changed their hours and are no longer 24 hours.I found this out by pulling up to the window, woman says they close in 10 minutes.I explained the situation to her and she immediately filled two scripts for my wife who needs them badly.Most people in this field treat you as though they dont need you and you need them. This woman was kind and compassionate and had absolutely no obligation to stay late to fill thes e scripts immediately.It sounds so little but i have 3 other children besides the new baby and you saved me more than you know!!!!April, Lillian and Derosa i hope you all win the lottery. Im not sure if its CVS in general or just this one but my prescriptions are never ready at the time they are promised and if youre at the drive thru they will ask you to keep driving around the building until your prescription is ready 😕. Bad customer service.
