Amazing customer service! I bought a fridge in the morning and it was delivered that evening to my house in Angel Fire! Super friendly folks.

Somewhat hidden off of Paseo Sur, this is a bare bones appliance and garden equipment store. Good for what it offers: products, selection, capable help and few amenities.

Sales person very friendly, helpful and informative, very pleasant experience, was sad though it was his last day, we wish him well

Dont ever expect them to answer their phone or follow up with a call when they promise they will.

Really a great value in Taos. Store was neat and clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Very hometown feel with little pressure to make a sale. Ordered a refrigerator and everything went as promised. Probably the easiest, and best experience from ALL the big corporate places i wasted so much money driving to only to be treated as if I was only a dollar sign. Good job guys!

Friendly helpful well stocked and nicely displayed store. Easy to roam and review all the products. Enjoyed the warm homey feel with coffee and cookies and the door greeter Daisy is the most precious, even though I think she just wanted my cookie. ( didn’t tell I shared some with her) The savings were better than going out of town and spending money on another cities economy. Home delivery was included when I used my Sears card and the delivery team got involved with me to assure location, details and date. Very professional and knowledgeable of what they do for customers. I had some work to do at home to prepare for the delivery and they were extremely helpful in pointing out all the things that could slow the process. I left feeling thoroughly satisfied I had the information I needed to make the best choice for myself and did not feel as if I had been swayed one way or another. These prices were really the best I had found anywhere. With the stress of spending money as it is, I feel great after shopping locally, saving more and knowing I wasn’t treated like just another stranger off the streets of some cold uncaring city.

Just picked up my new washer and dryer! I love my hometown store! coming back for a new kitchen next. thanks to the staff for loading and securing my purchases and all the info on how to maintain and care for them.

Love this store! such a friendly welcome to newcomers, just moved here and already love my hometown store. They have had everything we needed and extremely helpful and friendly. We asked around town and everyone said go to Sears when we first moved here. They couldnt have been nicer and very welcoming to us as new arrivals and to our dream destination. so far they have worked with us on everything from bedroom to kitchen and outside to the garage. Our neglected Adobe is now our pride and joy! So glad to see locally owned businesses with locals operating them.

Always a good experience in this store. Even watching the few folks who come in pissed about stuff not lasting forever is entertainment. Good selection. staff is knowledgeable. a better location would be nice. the building is extremely old, decrepit, and is offered no signing at the road to let anyone know they are behind a gas station between a used car lot. once inside you see the stark difference of the age of the building and the Appliances of the future. Its like being in an alternate universe where ancient ruins meet space travel. anyway. i bought what i needed with friendly help from the staff and was steered towards discounts through payment plans. everything was, i can get that lower for you. when a store thinks more about protecting whats in my wallet than taking from it, they get my business. ancient ruins or not.

Great inventory and friendly service. The people working here are really knowledgeable of both the products and the maintenance services and explain everything thoroughly. Were lucky to have this place right in town! Have purchased all my appliances here (fridge, stove, dishwasher and soon washer/dryer pair) at excellent prices, even lower than what I found on Sears own website.

I recently bought a washer and dryer. Service was great even though we came in as they were closing. They even lent us ratchet straps to strap them down!

Ordered a fridge site to store, picked it up with no problems, they helped us load it. Friendly staff. Been in to find fathers day gifts before as well and they were able to point me towards a good tool my dad didnt have

Most horrible experience Ive ever had in my life. Our refrigerator arrived damaged, and Sears (corporate) nor the store in Taos will stand behind this product or assist us with getting the repair needed. Such a pity, as I grew up thinking Sears was a quality place, but I promise I will never ever set foot in any of their stores, and I will discourage all my acquaintances from doing so as well.

Of course theyre very nice when they sell you the product. But when the product breaks Sears gives you the runaround until you want to give up talkin to the Philippines.I wouldnt buy another Sears product if my life depended on it theres other things out there Sears is going out of business anyways.

These guys are always very helpful. We have bought numerous appliances, yard equipment and tools from them. They listen to what I need and do not try to sell me something I dont. They know their products.When we have needed to have a repair on an item under warranty, they are patient, thorough and communicate well. It can be difficult to experience good, quality customer service in Taos (unfortunately) and these gentlemen always deliver patient, through, mindful and intelligent customer service. They take their business as a business owner should - with diligence and respect for the customer.I am a loyal customer. No need to drive out of town or pay shipping for an item over the internet. Excellent.

I must say I have never been treated better. I don’t believe for second some of the reviews about this store. These folks couldn’t have been nicer, more direct with knowledge of product, and helpful with selections for ordering. I think some people must deserve the treatment they receive when in public. They are probably the problem we all face when in public, they are the ones who want everything handed to them except the bill or the responsibility of adulthood. The lies said in some of the reviews are so obvious. If you are asked to leave an establishment, I am certain your behavior was what warranted the expulsion. Rude and ignorant people should stay home and do without. As you can see the lies, you can also call out the liers.

Laundry pair ordered and was told they would call when received. Called daily and they would say it isnt here yet. Finally said it was there, when I called. In store to pick up, they had under wrong name.Manager and other staff very pleasant in store but very frustrated with lack of help prior to being there.

Always find good deals at Sears. Staff is very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Oh ya, and have lots of patience dealing with those folks that think they are entitled, and treat sales people like they are above and beyond them. I will continue doing business with Sears Hometown Taos.

Shop small business and stay local with your money. Put an end to Amazon. Put and end to Walmart. We the locals should count more on ourselves and turn away from this sickness spreading across our great country. The sickness of wealth and greed. The sickness of outsiders ruining our community. OMG I cannot believe how LOW the prices are right now! I just saved $550.00 on the washer dryer I have been shopping for. The best Lowe’s could do was treat me like a imbecile and offered me $75.00 off the SAME pair! Forget Home Depot they are run by racists and don’t want to send their people out in the scarey scarey rurals of NM. So sad. Hometown customer forever! You guys rock and you didn’t even tilt the Bank. Love my Hometown Sears!

I have always liked Sears and thier products until I decided to purchase a Craftsman toolbox from this location here in my hometown. I signed up on the leasing program they offer and ended up haveing to pay an exrtra $200 Dollars from what I was told it would originally cost. When I talked with the employee that signed us up on this program because I felt it was not explained to me very well. He said it was my fault I was too stupid to read the contract before signing up for it. When asking to speak with a manager he would not get me in contact and he would not give me his name. Be very careful at this location. Poorest customer service I have ever experianced.

Good place to shop good quality

I was there for about 10 minutes before anybody asked me if I needed any help when I said yes they walked away. I later saw the gentleman sitting on a chair texting he must be getting paid by the hour.

Phone doesnt work and when I ordered an appliance online that was supposedly in stock - they called me after I ordered to say it is in stock, but broken. WTF.

Had the local sears order me a genarator for 350 dollars. the greedy, lazy owner took my money and proceeded to ship the item to a wrong address.i had told him 5 times to ship to the store. i complained to the owner and he told me tough luck.still have no genarator and no money. this store should be closed!
