I went here for a simple muffler replacement. Paid top dollar. I had to wait for several hours for this simple repair with an appointment as he did not have the exhaust tip onsite. The work that was performed was below standard. The welds have all began to fail one year after installation. I will never return to this shop.

The mechanic is an a-hole. Got into an argument with me over nothing just because I asked him what he charged me for. Doesnt even know what he is doing, he told me there were no leaks with the car but I noticed the oil was leaking a few days later. I had also arrived to the place in the morning and had to wait over an hour because he didnt show up in time, terrible service.

2nd time being here. First with my 2016 Mustang Gt and 2021 Gt. Quick in and out exhaust work. Love it.

Took my 2012 lancer for a new exhaust system. Old one was falling off from all the salt on it from Chicago. And man did he do one absolutely great job made me fall in love again with my ride . Even the last time I had issue with my cars springs he told me what was wrong and how he tends to fix it . he did a great job on that! Definitely will be back and i can say this is my mechanic. Highly recommended.

Unprofessional and no communication. I had service here before and explained that I havent been to him in a year. I wanted two mufflers installed on my work car and my weekend car next. He made me feel like I was not an important customer. So I will spend my money somewhere else. Possibly $300 to $400 lost for him.

I showed up this morning to get my heat shield covering my catalytic converter fixed on my Mazda 6 as it has been rattling extremely loud for the past two months and it was driving me crazy. Jeff fixed my problem in under 10 minutes for an AMAZING price and I have never been happier. He is awesome and extremely knowledgeable. They do only take cash, but there is a Mcdonalds right next door with an ATM and it was extremely easy for me to walk over there and get cash out. Thank you guys!!!

Went to get a catalytic converter replaced. Paid $600 cash because he did not take card and was refusing to provide a receipt until cops were called. Car sounds the same or worse and nothing was replaced on the car. He just cut a piece out of the one already in the vehicle and welded everything back together.

Even now that I live about an hour away I still trust Jeff and his crew to get the job done right and for a fair price. Awesome work. These folks are honest and hard working. They stayed open late for me to fix my truck that I needed. The work was done a week ago, and Im still very happy.

Let me just say this.... I was having trouble with my jeep before i sold it. alternator went out, I was just down the road thank god. I gave Geoff a call at the shop, his response. get it in and ill get you fixed. 30 min. later a new alternator, that did not even come close to breaking the bank. I was floored at what great prices and exceptional work he performed. 1 week later im in Zhills and my radiator starts leaking, made the call... tow it here and ill take care of you. Now a 2007 wrangler you pretty much have to remove the front end to replace the radiator. this was at 3pm when i got the jeep to him. I needed to get to work the next day so Geoff stayed late and by 8pm I was on the road home. when he finished i knew i was looking at 1k in parts and labor... NOPE not even close. once again i was floored by his exceptional work ethic and prices are the best in town. I will not have a vehicle worked on any where else. It is so nice to find a GREAT mechanic that you can trust!!Thank you Geoff Groves for taking the time to help me out and get me back on the road. You run a 5 star business by all means sir!!!!

Jeff was the only mechanic in town that actually looked for the problem with my AC and told me that fixing it would probably cost more than the car was worth. Feeling absolutely zero pressure to spend the money, I declined the repair and walked away without paying a cent. Once I did get a car worth fixing up, I always took it to these guys, even when I moved to Clearwater. They always gave me straightforward answers and their pricing, I found, was more than fair. I can only hope to find another shop half as trustworthy in VA.

One of the very few honest and trustworthy mechanic shops left in Tampa. Jeff who always takes care of me, is very knowledgeable and proffesional and fixes the problems right the first time. I been a customer for over 20 years. I never had a problem with them. You can take your car problems there and you can guarantee they will fix them. Absoultely 5 star service!!!

Its amazing how someone will write a negative comment (A Google User) and not even put their REAL name on it, then do it again 2 years later when you know they have not gone back again! Total crap. All I can say about this place is I have taken my GMC, my Chevy, my Honda here and NO time did this business ever misinform, or try to get me to buy something/service that was NOT necessary. I know about cars and I know when someone is trying to lay it on thick. Since I have moved to Tampa 10 years ago, this is the first honest auto repair business that I have found here. I am now in the process of taking my step-sons car there for emission problems. I have no doubt that they will not only fix it, but that they will be fair about the price. My cars dont break down a lot because I know how to keep them running, but when I cant do alone, these guys can and I never have to feel cheated. Thanks guys for staying open and giving me somewhere I can trust to take my vehicles when I need a little help.

Terrible customer service. I came in to ask for a quote and the guy that worked there got into an argument with me. Very strange behavior. When I asked for the gentlemans name he walked away refusing to talk. Complete arrogance, and the fact that the other gentleman just stood there not knowing what to say, says a lot about the accepting attitude that this shop allows. Taking the time out of my day to now write this review in hopes that it will warn others.

If I could give this guy a negative I would. I went into his shop while he was on the phone and noticed he was a bit rude with someone on the phone. I told him my car was making a noise and it may be the muffler. He looked at it and said it was the muffler making the noise and once I replace it, the noise would stop. He started to work on my muffler and I had a few questions because what he was doing didnt look right. He stated I asked the most questions out of all the customers he has ever had and said that I should wait until he was done to ask him questions. I have a right to ask questions when Im paying my money for a service. He attempts to lower the car quickly before I look at the work. I notice that he didnt use a bracket to hold the muffler in place but he soldered a part from the previous muffler to the one he put on and that part had a split in it. I told him it didnt look right and it looks like it will come apart. He stated that he has been working on mufflers for over 30 years and he has never had a customers muffler fall off. Then he asked me if I work on mufflers. I took a picture of it. (Below) I left and came back the a couple of days later because I knew his work just didnt look right. He was with a customer so I asked him if he could take a look at the picture at least to tell me if this will work. ( It was noticably not right) He told me he wouldnt look at the picture and to come back in the morning. I drove my car from Tx and he knew from the time he started on my car that I didnt live in Tampa and couldnt use his 1 year warranty. I had to leave that day for Texas. He became very rude. I never raised my voice. He claimed I was threatening him then I turned to his customer to ask him if I was threatening. He said no. He was actually yelling at me and calling me annoying. I took his word the first time since he said he was an expert with his work being solid. Proof is attached. His customer service is sub par. I expected to be treated fairly and this was fair. Its only been 3 weeks since this work was done and now Im back in Texas with no way to fix this issue except pay again to fix what he improperly did. His shotty work is probably why he only accepts cash. No way to dispute his work with a CC. There is a guy that works on other things at this shop so he has nothing to do with the muffler mans bad work and customer service.

I have been to this shop with the last three vehicles that we have owned and the lead mechanic has always been extremely honest and forthright about what the issues have been. He has pointed out items that my cars factory authorized services centers have said just had to be done that were still in working order. When I have repairs estimated by the factory centers they have completed the work for between 35-50% of the estimate without ever seeing the original estimate. Their work for us has been timely, thorough and cost-effective. They will continue to get my service work until I no longer drive or they cvhange ownership. Just this week my daughter was looking at a used car that we took in for a pre-purchase inspection and they could find nothing wrong with the vehicle, but it was suggested that since there are 107,000 miles it might be time in the next six months to change the serpentine belt. Total Cost=$ 00.00. Not too many places left to find such outstanding servic
