The pizza is good - even the next day! Had the Hawaiian and I would eat that particular style again here. You should just set your expectations that it may be a little slow ordering, and getting your pizza (the oven doesn’t look that big) but worth the wait. Photos as of April 2021.

Amazing pizza, fresh mozzarella, best quality pizza around! Lived here like 6 months now and I cant get over how good their crust is! Its only 5 minutes from the hospital, downtown and UT. They are also starting to offer NY style pizzas bursting with the flavor from the authentic fresh ingredients as well. Overall, a MUST-HAVE.

Waited in line for 10 minutes with only 1 person infront of us. Only 1 person taking and filling orders despite 2 other staff members sitting around doing nothing. Took an additional 20 minutes to receive our Gelato (which was just ok) after ordering. This is my 3rd time at this place and the service is still horrible. Love the main Oggi restaurant but this place is poor quality, I will not be back.

One person taking orders at the counter, as well as all the phone orders. One person randomly carrying orders around. I ordered online, and paid in advance. It took 15 minutes to get out of there with one person in front of me, and my pizza done and waiting. Never. Again.The pizza wold be a 5 if it wasn’t room temperature by the time I ate it. Kinda kills the wood fire aspect.

Really... You call this a wood fired burger??? Beyond soggy! Best part of this meal was the ketchup for the tots. Wont make that mistake again.

We sat at the (seat yourself) bar without being acknowledged for 20 minutes, then were very coldly greeted simply asking if we wanted to order. We ordered food but she walked away before we could even ask for water- whoever this person was never came back. The next server came and told us she would be our new server- proceeded to tell us the other server hadn’t notified us that one of the things we ordered wasn’t even on the menu any longer. Our bruschetta was literally seasoned/diced tomatoes and a bowl of bagel chips that were opened in front of us. Our charcuterie board was sandwich cut bologna and cheese (nothing else). An hour into our stay we asked the time frame on our 20 inch NY style pepperoni pizza to find out that the order was never placed.. we still waited around... thinking well- we’re already here and still very much hungry. Then they served us a small thin crust Everything pizza. We politely said never mind and that we would just take our check. They couldn’t figure out how to take the pizza off and left us standing there while helping another customer. Then offered a “discount” which couldn’t have been barely anything considering it was still $30 for two glasses of wine on tap, “mini charcuterie board” (as previously described), and “bruschetta” (bagel thins)... the food I can get past- but the terrible and unapologetic-what-so-ever staff while the owner was there(?) but never seen? I definitely can’t move past. I’m now home heating up a microwaveable meal at 9:37 pm after working 13 hours. Very disappointed by this place.

I cant speak to the freshness of the mozzarella (like many of the other reviews here) our pizza was just ok in that regard. The actual dough and bake of the pizza was great. All together though a mixed experience and might be a while before I give it another try. Ive been more satisfied with other pizza places for the $

This place is truly authentic. Joe is fantastic and truly has a passion for good food.My wife and I went for a date night and we were not disappointed in the least. The food is great, the atmosphere is authentic and fantastic, and the service, cashiers, and Cooks are absolutely friendly.This is definitely your family-friendly place situated right in the middle of Davis Islands business district, make sure you give this hidden gem a try.

We live on Davis Island and were able to observe slowly decreasing quality of food at this place. At the beginning food and especially pizza was amazing. Few weeks after opening they added big - rectangle shaped pizza, however they discontinued nice perk - Sky and dine from Delta airlines. That was my first red light as this is not grow your business decision. Soon they replaced home made mozzarella with regular market cheese on the rectangle pizza. Well, we we could still eat regular size pizza with their great home made Mozzarella, but... second red light. Today we ordered pizza again. Cheese on regular size pizzas is mixed and tastes horrible. What is more my wife found piece of metal wire on her pizza and almost broke her tooth (see picture). This is the end of our journey with Uncle Giuseppe.

Joe, Sandra, and the rest of the Uncle Giuseppe’s team take great care in the food and service that they provide to their customers. If you haven’t tried their calamari salad, then dig in! I highly recommend this Market if you want a genuine Italian meal either on-the-go or sitting down for a short while and enjoying Davis Island.

Authentic ITALIAN Pizza! You can definitely tell the ingredients are fresh. Took me back to Italy! I really love this place. Friendliness is OK, but their food is too yummy to care.

Crispy, bubbly perfection! A bit overpriced but very tasty. The slightly “charred” exterior is absolutely delicious. In my opinion, wood fired pizza is the only way to go if you’re seeking pizza perfection.

One star as we cant give zero, this place changed completely since it was opened, terrible overburn pizza with low quality ingredients, very sad as this was the only place where we could buy a good Prosciutto Cotto that of course now is no longer available. good Luck

The BEST homemade Italian deliciousness! I devoured a whole bowl of Italian wedding soup PLUS a slice of Grandmothers prosciutto & arugula pizza!

Tried a piece of pie and love it

Quite an expensive pizza and the price went up within a week. I first paid 12 for a personal pie and recently paid almost 20. Seems outrageous for a small pie.
