Its rare that I give 5* to an ice cream place. But these guys have to be better than most because they are just 2 or 3 blocks south of Bos - a Tampa icon of ice cream for decades. Bos is very traditional... the Revolution is just that; Revolutionary! So many amazing and different flavors! Even CBD infused;) this place is great and I cant wait to go back!

After dinner we wanted to try out the ice cream and came across Revolution Ice Cream. It is a small ice cream shop with different flavors and varieties of ice cream. From the flavor we decided to try out Oreo Ice Cream. The flavor was amazing and we loved its taste. Stunning taste.

Was looking for something out of the box and we definitely found it here. They have a funky vibe throughout the entire spot which makes it so endearing. We ordered the Eruo Trash, the Vegan Coffee, the Cookie Monster and Mattys Fatty Rolls and they were all outstanding. The vegan ice cream was creamy and had a strong coffee flavor that literally made it taste like having a cup of espresso. The Matty ice cream was super creamy and addicting. This is our new favorite spot for sure. Staff was awesome and helped guide us through the menu.

OMG! The flavors of ice cream here are out of this world. There is even a challenge of eating 24 scoops of ice cream in a half an hour and it is free. The staff was very friendly and we highly recommend this place for an ice cream treat. They also have a couple of non-dairy, vegan ice creams.

We stumbled across this gem and more than exceeded our expectations. The employee was super kind and she was helpful to point out safe options for our kids with gluten allergies. They had options for everyone which is so nice to find a place like this. Plus the flavors are creative, funny and delicious. Adding this to our must stops list next time we are back in Tampa.

A lot of unique flavors to choose from such as peanut butter and jelly, cookie monster, vegan ice cream, gluten free ice cream, and banana pudding. They have sundaes and milkshakes that I have not tried. The interior has mirrors hanging from the ceiling. The only negative might be there is only one person serving and taking payment. There is usually a small line at this place.

Took our babies in to check it out today. The location is so cute! We were greeted right away and were informed on their new lemon, poppyseed, and cheesecake flavored ice cream.. which I loved! My oldest son Eddie requested vanilla as usual and the woman was very nice and offered him a sample as he was really concerned about liking the new place. Eddie has autism and is not always happy with change. Well this place passed the Eddie Vanilla test 🥰. My little ones were happy to get chocolate with gummy worms and the hubs ordered drunken brownie ice cream. We were all pleased with the friendly service and the delicious ice cream. We were also informed that we made in time for their Happy hour Mon -Thurs from 2-5 BOGO. Lucky us!! Thank you so much for the pleasant experience! We will be back soon!

What an experience! You can taste all their flavors. We went during 2 for 1 hours. If you love ice cream - this is your place. My banana scoop tasted like my Granny used to make at our July 4th family reunions back in the 50s & early 60s (ice cream maker with ice & salt & men taking turns churning homemade ice cream!). One of us had cinnamon. One had a coffee flavor. So many excellent choices - hard to decide!

The interior is small and somewhat cluttered but the the decor is adorable and the ice cream makes up for it! Every time I visit Tampa, I MUST pay this place a visit!!!! The staff is very friendly as well!!!! I love this place!

This place was pretty nice. It smells amazing as soon as you walk in. Cinnamon and waffles. It has a really nice ambiance. The person working there was incredibly friendly, helpful, and patient. I tried a couple flavors and they were good. They were unique names and twists on pretty classic flavors.I would definitely go back.

The flavors are very inventive and fresh. The ice cream from this place is absolutely amazing. We tried the pancake, blueberry flavors. The sundaes are a delight. The shakes tasted super good too. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Need to go back and try the other flavors.

Revolution is hands down our favorite ice cream. So of course we wanted them at our wedding. They crushed the ice cream bar game! Our guests loved the change of pace from the traditional wedding cake option. It was an amazing day and they made it even more amazing. A pleasure to work with- use them for your next event or just go get a scoop of awesome from one of their shops, you wont be let down.

HOLY COW this was some of the best ice cream Ive ever had! If you are in the area you have to get some ice cream here. The pancakes and blueberries tasted like a real breakfast. I am definitely coming back next time Im in Tampa.

This place is amazing. The ice cream is awesome and the place smells amazing. The staff is extremely nice. I also loveeee the decorations in the place. Its so amazing. I love it here. 10/10 recommended. I would totally go here again. A mask is required and the staff are required to wipe down the surfaces. Also, the ice cream was done in minutes, but how quickly you get your ice cream problem depends on what you get.

This place was a great find. We have passed it dozens of times and I was always telling my husband we should try them. We finally went on Saturday evening and we were very pleased. From the atmosphere, to the service and most of all the flavor. They have lots of twists on some familiar flavors and then some other new flavors and the prices and the amount of ice cream they give you is worth it. Thank you to the three young ladies that served us on Sat, June 5th. We will be back. The only draw back is parking. It is very limited, due to the restaurants in the area. Be prepared to wait, but it is worth it!

I remember when they used to have both coconut AND coffee in their vegan sundaes. I requested they include both this time, they said sure, and nope, its just another giant pile of coconut in two sundaes. So. Much. Coconut. Such a bummer to get it home.

We all loved this place. Hopped over for dessert after dinner at The Rooster and Till. They have vegan options! I got the coffee flavored vegan option, it was delicious and very good consistency. This is a small ice cream spot. With a cool vibe. The staff was friendly. My husband and I had had two different flavors in a waffle bowl. The ice cream was flavorless. It’s definitely not worth the price. I will not return. My husband took two bites out of his and threw it in the garbage. The walnuts were hard enough to break your teeth and the waffle cookie were stale. The waffle bowl was definitely not fresh. Nothing about the ice steam taste homemade. I don’t understand the almost 5 star rating.

A friend of mine and I stopped in because he told me they have some of the best ice cream hes had. Im usually sold when someone tells me its the best theyve had. Since Im an adult this was my dinner for the evening before heading back to work for the night. Definitely did not disappoint. I got a milkshake and the sampler pack they had. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the flavors. The goat cheese and habanero was an absolute delight because you get the creaminess of the ice cream, the cold of the ice cream, the saltiness of the goat cheese, and the spice that kicks in at the end. Beautiful. I was so full of ice cream by the end of the night. This is one of the benefits of being an adult, I can do this. Highly recommend a stop through this shop. Delicious and not disappointing ice cream for all.

We bored of chains and was looking for something new and out of box. We tried this place just randomly and guess what! This place is amazing with cool interior and the aroma when you enter the shop would definitely make you crave for ice cream even though you do not want to. Friendly staff and helped us to pick our favorites and went through all menu items and it’s specialities. Very unique and creative menu items. Must try and would definitely visit again!!

All the flavors Ive tried have been delicious. I go as often as I can, as they have my old faithful favorite (The Seaward) and they are always bringing in new stuff every month or so. Definitely check this place out. They have vegan options that are delicious as well!

So happy to finally try out the Seminole Heights location as Brandon is a bit of a trip to get to. This is just as good a location but has less sitting area. There were lots of flavors today, 14-15 I think. I got to try a few flavors before settling on Callies Hotcakes and Drunken Brownie. Separately they were very good and together was actually pretty good too. They have a points/member system that is simply 1 point every time you spend $5 or more. 10 points gets you a reward. Definitely the best ice cream spot in Tampa.

The staff were very friendly, generous with the free samples, which is good because picking the wrong ice cream flavor is a deep, deep tragedy 😁The vegan coffee with oreo pieces was my favorite, surprisingly creamy and melty, which I love, for being dairy free. My friend had the vegan coconut flavor, and she really liked that one too. The Whats Up Nutter Fudger was tasty, definite peanut flavor there. I had to go for Round 2, and ended up with Mint Want Cookies and Euro Trash, which was good as well. There wasnt a lot of the mix ins with it, which was a little disappointing, but I probably just didnt get a good scoop for that stuff. I enjoyed it all the same, and would definitely recommend this place for some ice cream love 🥰

We wanted ice cream after visiting the zoo and it was a toss up between two places as they were equal distance from us. So glad we picked The Revolution! Funky, eclectic vibe with creative and delicious flavors. Will be back many times throughout the year as we got a membership to the zoo!

My favorite ice cream place...EVERI am not a huge ice cream person, but their banana pudding taste just like a southern grandmother made it. The greetings from the 813 is the perfect coffee ice cream. I have had more ice cream in the last 2 weeks than Ive had in a year because of the 813. if you have a puppy you are wanting to treat, Porkys delight is very popular.

Loved the address atmosphere. They have a fairly good amount of parking in front of the store. Inside the ice cream shop has a trendy, hipster vibe. Plenty of ice cream flavors available too, they actually had a few more than what they show on their website including ones with CBD oil and a few options for vegan too.

The lovely staff person was so welcoming on the phone and in actuality. Recommended the Vegan Sundaes for us and we were NOT disappointed. We just got in town and had a long day. Revolution Ice Cream made the day much sweeter 💚

This could be the best ice cream weve ever had! The flavors were fantastic; a perfect combination of classics w. a twist and some weve never seen before. Highly recommend the cinnamon roll, bacon/bacon brittle and pancakes n syrup.

It was great. You need to build one out in New Tampa somewhere. Its a long drive just for ice cream, unless you have other things planned for south side of Tampa.

With almost a 5 star rating, I truly expected the ice cream to be phenomenal. Ive had phenomenal ice cream, and this is good ice cream. Flavors are unique. We tried chocolate shock, banana pudding, and euro trash. Out of the three, chocolate shock was the best. The other two, I felt like they could be improved upon. For example, the banana pudding would be better if it had bananas and cookies mixed in to the ice cream. It was banana ice cream with a cookie on top. The euro trash had hardly any of the biscoff cookies in it. I was really looking forward to this one and it was kind of meh. Both the euro trash and the banana pudding were rather icy, and tasted like they were made with milk and not cream. The chocolate was definitely creamier. Not sure why this was. In terms of service, it was a holiday and one employee was working. There were a lot of people waiting for their ice cream and milkshakes, which she pointed out. We werent in a hurry so we didnt care. But I could see this being an issue for other customers in a rush. We probably waited 5-10 minutes. I dont know that I would go back. I dont think it was worth the calories since the flavors I was really interested in were not that creamy.

Awesome off the wall uce steamship. I brought the kids to get ice cream here after the zoo and we were very pleased with the ice cream. Its prices a slightly above average but its well worth the price as the scoops and flavors are betterr than normal.They uave 80s music rocking in the background and some funky decor (not complaining at all), very relaxing. Family friendly enviroment and they have a challenge if you are up for it. It is 24 scoops of ice cream with all the toppings with a 30 minute time limit. If you finish it is free and you get a shirt with your picture on the wall but if you fail its $29
