Another local small business that wants to see you. This is my go to place for hard wood. They uave everything from solf/hard wood, dimensional lumber, plywood, trim work and milled woods. I wish they would carry slabs, thats my only improvement I wish they would make. The pictures below were all built with wood from Intercity Lumber. Friendly people and you can even carry on a conversation with them and dont feel like you are wasting their time.Bonus: They even give a military discount. I wholeheartedly support any business they gives a military discount. I will pass up any Lowes or HD to support this small business.

Horrible customer service. The bell ringed when I opened the door and the guy didnt even noticed that I came in to the store because he was watching the stupid phone, then I ask if can somebody help me which to that he responded oh yes what do you need. Friken guy needs some training manners.

Always had good service here over the years. Its more like a professional lumberyard than a box store. This has been pretty much how I have dealt with pro building supply outlets for decades. I like the fact that they have some more quality choices than the big box stores, along with reasonably priced milling capabilities.

I needed 70 - Cypress t&g boards x 10. This was more than they had in stock and I was sent to pick up at their distributor in town. You are not allowed to inspect and the 70 boards were already banded. As I went through the stack at home, many of the boards in the middle were badly damaged by rough material handling. I feel they were in the middle intentionally. I worked through this at additional time. When I needed 70 more I called and shared my experience. Shane informed me I could pick through what they had, but there were only 60. Can you bring more over so I can inspect them? No, you will have to go to the distributors. Shane then informed me, Beggars cannot be choosers. My comment was that I wasnt paying beggar prices. Done. Found much better wood at a lower price at another specialty lumber in Tampa. This beggar did make a choice.

I came here as a new customer, only buying a few sheets of ply to test out product and services. There was zero customer service. Not even so much as a how can we help you. You cant look at the inventory. The only way to know whats there is the printer paper price list on the wall. The 1/2 sheets of maple ply is the worst big box store quality at $20 more per board. 3 layers of ply with vaneer so thin theres no way to avoid major tearout.

Non existent customer service, accept cash only while card machines are down which happens way to often here. Didn’t have any signage up so I spent 20 minutes gathering supplies and was told cash only when I got to the register.Update:It’s refreshing when small business replies to reviews and customer feedback. I have been lucky enough to have discovered this treasure of a store. Everything the big stores have with a small town charm. Ralph Griffin, the owner is a gentleman and a man if his word. Great prices over big box stores on moldings

The is the unfriendly and unhelpful local neighborhood hardware store in the state. I would not shop here if wasnt so close to my shop. I think ill start going down to lowes or homedeoit, I come here fir concrete and many other supplies couple times a week and went be back. Be sure nit to ask for assistance while there all eating at the same time.

Called in for some pricing kept getting hung up on, then when I actually got to talk to some one they seemed like they didn’t want to help me. They were being rude, prices where higher then everywhere else.

Special ordered a bundle of six 20 ft cedar siding boards. ETA was 6 wks, it took 12 weeks to come in. When we went to pick up, one of the boards was split & unusable! Shane said he could reorder, but we would have to pay a 30 percent restock fee! Are you kidding me? The material came in damaged, & you want to charge us a restock fee? Plus, he said there was no gaurantee that it would be undamaged as well! Poor business practice and customer service. Will think twice before coming back

Bought some rough cut cherry, walnut and oak from them. Only stopped because I was in the area, when I left called a store in Orlando, intercity was twice as expensive. Will never go there again

Great service!I went there to get marine plywood and they offered to cut it to size and deliver it since I couldnt get it into my van. This place is a must for anyone who wants a much better selection than the big stores. Their prices seem pretty low from what I can tell. Ill be back.

This place has the best prices for real wood trim -- far cheaper than HD. I purchased base and crown molding for my office. Unfortunately, those are sold ONLY in 16ft lengths. They will cut them shorter, but it still created a fair amount of unusable short pieces. Some of the pieces were chipped and/or broken.

My questions were answered with detailed and knowledge responses. The employees know what they are talking about and, more importantly, can figure out what their customers mean. The lumber prices are reasonable as well and while they arent the largest yard, their selection is more than adequate for my projects. Additionally, the interior of their store acts as a home repair shop, and they have the basics for most home repair needs, from what I saw.

Best place for tools, not only to replace them, but to repair damaged tools that might have been passed down to you by a loved one or something that you might have found in a garage sale or in an estate auction. There are not many places such as this are left considering that we live in a time where people would rather pay more to replace a good tool than save money to fix the tool, such as a cracked or broken handle on a hammer or shovel. See below for the hatchet handle for an ax head that I thought was lost which belonged to my father who has been gone for 28 years. I even found the black coating to protect it from rusting.

You have to love a company that stops answering the phone 5minutes before close and is a empty ghost town at 4:57p. 3/29/18.I guess they dont understand Tampa traffic is a mess, yet people will drive 45minutes and cut it close. Someone in a white dodge wagon even drove past me as i walked up to the chained doors.I guess they don’t want my $400.
