I stopped in for a quick shopping name brand stuff but thats okay because the product that they do carry is just the same You do have to bring your own bags but they do sell them for extremely cheap $0.03 or boxes and the cashiers are always very pleasant.

Clean, organized and well stocked location. I love this grocer and MORE again without those irritating pay to use carts they had last year. Dont use them! You loose so much revenue... people dont have a quarter, then they only buy what they can grab in hand. Huge Lose! If you insist on pay to use carts PLEASE offer hand held baskets as an alternative for your customers.

I love shopping here for the value & savings. The quality is almost always just as good as the name brand grocery stores, but at moderate to much better prices. The only drawback is that they dont always have the variety of offerings (in general) as some other grocers. Im okay with that as I typically save a lot (see what I did there? 😁) more here & that makes up for it.Their stores are also generally clean, well lit & have prices readily available.

Closed locked doors lights all on cannot enter during business hours. They never have things stocked. They sell putrid meat, spoiled products and wilted vegetables. They staff is rude and the management is horrible.

Garbage all over the parking lot every day. Discarded carpet rolls lining the property. Drug deals at night. So glad theyre part of the neighborhood!

Low cost grocery..used to.be decent...now just getting worse and worse.

I like the convenience of a food store within walking distance of home. The employees are usually friendly. The biggest negative to me is that there is only rarely more than one checkout station open.

It you want to save money shop at Save A Lot. Willie the produce stocker always gi out his way to help you.

They are proactive by providing disinfectant and paper towels for safety. Employees are helpful & quick to open registers when lines get long. Also have unexpected items - got a beach towel for $6.50 after tax. Cant beat that! 🌴

I went to the Save-A-Lot on Hillsborough Avenue and the manager was very rude. I was in a long line so the cashier called for him to open up. Instead of telling me he was open or saying next in line...he took whoever walked up and left me still waiting in line. The cashier I was in line with told me she was sorry but the manager never once apologized. I go to this store every weekend but I wont from now on.

Kind of hard to argue with prices and quality. Some of the brands are a little silly but they definately live up to their name and the quality does exist...you will save on alot items.The bakery and meat sections are really hidden gems. You can find some amazing deals on fresh meats.My only complaint is the clientele at times can be on the rough side...kids running around unsupervised..rap music on peoples phones...etcIs what it is. Not bad on the deals tho. Scooped up some mantia frozen pizzas for 2.99 just now... simply unbelievable deals can be found here. Slashed my grocery bill by a 1/3 and that extra $75 is a big deal

I love Save-A-Lot. I have a big family and have to buy groceries a lot. Save-A-Lot has been a godsend. At Publix, I buy a cart full of groceries for $300. That same cartful at Save-A-Lot is $100. They have a good selection and quality products that wont break the bank. The staff is always so nice and the store is clean. I recommend you go.

I have learned that some unfamiliar name brand are equal or superior to name brand items. The store is always clean and the fresh vegetables are good looking. Meats are fresh and there is always a sale on one or more of this product. The cash out line can be long but moves quickly. You must bring your own bags or pay for the ones you need. Staff is friendly and efficient.

Excellent shopping experience! The products are not only good quality but affordable! The place is kept clean and easy to wander and shop through. The real gem here though is the employees. Especially the cashiers, every person who works here provides something special to the store. Some Cashiers have been at this store for over a decade which means regular customers quickly become family.

Great! I worked late and was in desperate need of groceries and this place was open after 10pm! Actually it was the only supermarket open so Thanks! Felt like it was waiting just for me since I was the only customer there that late but they had everything I needed! Also plastic bags are not free (first for me) but it was only 3 cents per ! Either way 5 🌟

Meat department looks fully stocked until you realize that the same meat product (such as bottom round) has been placed in all their empty spots. Definitely gives the visual appearance of being fully stocked. Great gimmick.

Produce is well priced, has Hispanic foods and low prices on canned goods . Not the cleanest save a lot store but I think its just an older store than some of the others in the area. Overall great place for inexpensive groceries . Dont forget to bring your reusable bags or be prepared to pay for bags.

When you are checking out, WATCH what theyre ringing up and then CHECK your receipt before leaving! I bought 1 green pepper but the cashier charged rung me for 3. They have great prices and you can save a lot of money if you dont get overcharged like I did.

They are not enforcing the 6ft. rule nor are the customers respecting it. I will NEVER shop at this store with such ignorant management again. Such a shame they will be the cause of the virus continuing to spread.

Surprisingly good produce and meat sections. Some name brands available. Discount pricing. Above average for this type of store. I will go back. Friendly staff helped me find items and cashier gave me a coupon for $5 off.

Food looks clean and fresh store organized. Out side was a downer trash underneath the carts and in parking lot.

This is a low-cost store and therefore, there are limited selections, more house brands, no fancy displays, no free bags and limited staff. What do you not understand about the trade-off to get low prices. And I have been quite satisfied with quality...and ability to return items that are not up to par, including fresh produce.

Great store. Clean and reasonable. Take your bags when you go or buy them for a dime or dollar.

I like Save A Lot, but I had a hard time finding things, and theres nobody available to assist you. They do have inexpensive meat though.

Not a save a lot store fan.....was able to find 6 or so items that I like. U have to buy bags or use their boxes. I didnt purchase uncooked meats there. A pack of wrapped cheese had mold on it. U could spend less for 24 bottles of water. Not a store for ppl with discerning taste

I love going to save alot they are much cheaper than other stores if you dont care about name brand items then I highly recommend you come to this store If you want to save money the only flaw they have is you have to pay 10 cent for a bag but other than that its a great store

Fresh food section was lacking, and very little variety in other goods, but displays tidy, and staff was very friendly and helpful.

A very organized store,restroom very clean so I can trust butchers area probably clean too. Employees very nice and better than others I visited before. Keep the good job hard to believe in Tampa.

Thought the man in front of me was gonna have thrawed out frozen food before he got through the check out line but I got a nice tasting avocado today which Im not very good at picking them out when the box has already been picked over it was freindly an she gave a bag to the guy in front of me for the wait it was a little weird seeing a resale of stuff in the line though .

Its your basic save a lot. Friendly staff. Produce is okay to above average. Good pricing for what you get. Remember to bring a bag or youll need to pay for them.

There is a lot of things that they sold, that were really good. And now they discontinued selling them. I shop at that store every week and it just seems like their selection is getting less and less

I shop at sav-a-lot for the prices and the savings, sav-a-lot carries a lot of off market products that create even more savings. On my last visit I found a well stocked meat department, stocked with fresh product but not over priced. I gave four stars because I believe improvements could be made, but for the value and savings, I wouldnt shop anywhere else, some of the produce can be less than fresh-At times., but if youre searching for value, you will find it here.
