Very large and spacious grocery store with a lot of products and fresh produce. The establishment has mostly Indian and Middle Eastern workers, products and culture, along with a few other nationalities! The vegetables could be more fresh. Youll find some sweets and imported chocolates/desserts in a few aisles! There is also a small Hispanic section in the back left. If youre looking for some good Basmati rice - come here. They also sell hookahs, tobacco flavors and whatnot. There is a wide variety of different spices (even in large packs) to choose from, so Id definitely check that out!

Best place to get Desi and Halal food. Pakistani and Indian Grocery, and Halal meet is available. Be careful with machine slaughtered meet, hand slaughtered meet is also available on request. Always check expiry dates on imported products.If you are missing desi products, this is the place where you can get almost everything desi, including Achar (pickle) and Desi Ghee. ❤️It has a restaurant too within the store, but I didnt get a chance to taste anything there.Such a blessing to have a desi store here, cannot imagine living here without it. Update, I changed the review from 3 to 4 stars due to another kind gentleman offering us replacement samosas in lieu of the raw ones we received!A good store with a nice selection of items ranging from sweets to spices, yet a major improvement should be customer service. My husband and I initially tried the chicken tikka roll and loved it so we came back again. We ordered many other items to try.The samosas we had were raw. My hubby took a bite only to taste the raw dough. When we talked to the person at the food area, he only stated that he sold 150 samosas and did not offer us another better cooked one, although we showed him the raw dough.Also I feel that cashiers can be a bit more friendly and say a hello or how are you.There were two female cashiers who were having a conversation with each other and completely ignored us. We said thank you and we’re waiting for the total, and after a long awkward pause I just put my card in. They didn’t even make eye contact. Please improve customer service. I won’t be shopping here again because a customer doesn’t deserve to be treated as if they are invisible.

It’s a horrible store, always full of cheap crowds, following women in aisles! Beware there are many groceries around, stay away! They can’t protect their customers, and ladies at the billing are too busy to even greet! Worst experience always! Salesman also utterly disrespectful..,!

An absolute rip off!!! What is the point in buying meat from a halal meat store if they just so happen to be pricier than their non-halal contemporaries?? Better to spend hours rifling through the meat section of Walmart for kosher meat... Ordered 5 lbs of meat only to discover that I blew away my money on 4 lbs of bones! Dont be deceived by the high rating! The Apna Grill is scam to fish out your precious cash, please hold on to that kindly. They sell a baby sized chicken pizza with only 4 chicken pieces and plastered cheese- feels like youre chomping down a rubber tire laced with pebbles! And the cherry on top? Some of the items dont have a barcode, i.e. get ready to come home with a confusing receipt that with certain items pooling out money with no notion of what they happen to be!

Great Asian store at Tampa. Indian Pakistani and Bangladesi items available. Fresh produce and meat available. The produce place is a lot spacious, hence feels less crowded. Could not help but notice special ramzan special items and a separate space for women jewellery. There is a food court for Indian food as well. Would Definitely recommend this place for Indian/Asian population in Tampa.

This place would’ve received a 5 star if they were more hygienic. Don’t get me wrong this is an amazing place to shop but I have some notable complaints that other shoppers should be aware of. First and foremost we are in a pandemic, the butchers in the back that cut the meat don’t seem to believe in gloves and masks 🤢 I found hairs in my meat because they also don’t wear hair nets which I’m sure is a health code violation. Secondly they don’t sanitize their shopping carts. And lastly every student appreciates a student discount which they “offer” apparently they’re misleading with their discount. They believe students are incapable of doing simple math. I’ve been shopping here for years, I spend on average 100$-200$ every time I’m here. Not once has my discount been over a 1$ ... how does that make sense I have no clue. Management needs to step up because this place is a gem in the rough. But when half the vegetables are rotting it’s really easier to go to another halal supermarket.

Always fresh and multiple options to choose from, I was a permanent customer of Patel brothers but over the time their prices are sky rocketing. Apna bazaar gives discount on eid and other festivals and weekends.Much appreciated the workers at meat section where your request is always fulfilled on time.Edit - so the above review was way before when I didn’t knew that they are selling expired items like naan, parantha .Most of the expired ones are labeled as buy one get one .How pathetic it is

Great place to get halal grocery and food. They also have restaurants which are average. The grocery price are reasonable, but the produce quality depends what time of the day you are going in. Otherwise, it is a decent place to get halal meat😀.

Good market. I went there last weekend. It is a big market. They have different products from different countries. I plan to go there again. I went there again and I ordered food from their restaurant wasn’t bad but the tables was dirty. Also, I checked the prices for some product they are cheap in Walmart.

We mistook this Apna BaZaar for another branch of these store as in NJ.As we entered the store, I noticed it isnt at all like the original Apna Bazaar stores in NJ.They have Indian, Pakistani and middle eastern stuff in this store. I also noticed the quality of the food was low especially the fresh produce.The store undoubtedly is super big. It was pretty busy though.They have some other tiny shops like jewellery, clothes. They’re running a restraurant that too inside the store.

I love the new location! The vegetables are fresh and well kept with a beautiful selection of a wide variety of roots, squash and greens as well as other staple and ethnic vegetables and fruits. A tempting array of spices, shelf-staples and ready to heat foods are also available at reasonable prices. Many hard to find options are abundantly available from multiple packagers. Scrumptious Indian curry sauces, dried fruits and tempting snacks galore! Today I got Indian okra, Italian eggplant, beet root, purple sweet potatoes, baking dates, pickled turnips, oil-cured olives, naan, tea biscuits, garam marsala and teas as well as scrumptious samosa at their hot, ready to eat spot.I truly recommend checking out Apna!

Bought 4lbs of beef and there were more than 2lbs of bones. All products are overpriced. The restaurant inside the mart felt scam to me. Bought a 13$ pizza which had only like 10-12gm of chicken(3 very small pieces).

The selection and prices are as good as you can expect. This is the biggest Indian store I have ever been to and they have a HUGE selection on everything. They have a very nice produce section and it is always well stocked. The restaurant has good food made to your liking.

They might be halal but they rip you off when you try to get meat cut up for you. Bought 20lbs of beef and all of it was mostly fat and bones. It was bad enough to the point you can easily tell that this was a deliberate action. In the even anyone goes to buy beef they should look towards the pre butchered stuff. Even though you wont know exactly how fresh it is. But atleast your able to see what you are buying. They ensure that you dont get a good price regardless. The meat in orlando for example is only $2.99 a pound and they sell it at $4.99 a pound. That outrageous price plus they dont give the correct meat.

This place is one of the larger halal markets that also carry turkish brands and products. There is A LOT of variety, it can get confusing but if you have time there is a masjid and it can be fun to explore every aisle and discover different products. They dont just sell food, also some traditional kitchen gear, cleaning products, clothing and jewelery. I think there is also a restaurant inside.

This is a very good place and they have good customer service especially the cashier lady imteaz she is nice with everyone and she is very patient with even old people.

Been going there for years since old location, customer service IS HORRIBLE these cashiers have attitude and are helpless and do not wear masks!!! I like Apna’s fresh vegetables always. Also I like their Nan bread and meats.The staff are very friendly. Prices of some products are sometimes expensive but yet it’s my choice of buying food products.

Being a Bengali the most I like about the market is fresh fishes. Apart from that they offers fresh halal meat and chicken. Also they have variety of spices and fresh vegetables.

It is quite huge therefore many options. In addition a restaurantBathrooms are horrendous. People just go and come and dont even look after themselves. Situation has gotten so bad Janitors have given up. I, unaware, went to use the restrooms. All I can tell you is that my nostrils have yet to recovered from what I witnessed.

Big Desi store providing most of the required stuff and fresh Halal meats

The store owner answered our previous review from 4 weeks assuring us that the employers will be wearing masks! Everybody was wearing masks except the cashier who is in direct contact with the customers!!!!! It’s the same one from a month ago. I’m sorry but she should comply with the store policy. Rude cashiers. Cashiers mask was not covering her nose. When my wife asked her why? She at this point took her mask off in defiance and said they get headaches. Also noticed other employees wearing the mask below the nose or around the neck. Does no good.I will never visit this store again as they have no regards for customers safety. I will go to house of spices and Patel Brothers from now on.

The cashiers and most of the employees weren’t wearing a mask even tho there’s a sign that says in the door to put on a mask! When i told the cashier she said it’s hard to put it on for 10 hours. While I agree that wearing a mask is hard and inconvenient your customers safety and health should be a priority.On another note: the meat in the freezer was not properly sealed and lacks basic sanitary conditions. I would love to say that I won’t be coming back but unfortunately they are the only ones in town to sell Moroccan products. The cashiers and most of the employees werent wearing a mask. The employee who was at the entrance to assist customers was not even wearing a mask and talking to customers without maintaining any social distancing norms. Customer safety and health should be the top priority for any business and this establishment clearly doesnt believe in that. EXTREMELY unhygenic and dangerous. Please avoid this place if you value your life because they dont.

A group of friends and I love cooking mediterranean food, so we went down to check out what we thought might be a great place to buy ingredients, but before we even came inside we noticed the cashier wasnt wearing a mask. We will shop at the other mediterranean markets where they wear masks out of decency and consideration for others

I have been a customer of Apna Bazaar since 2002!!! I have never been disappointed. I drive an hour away to buy Halaal/ kosher meats and other products for my home and always find what I’m looking for.They are always fully stocked, employees are friendly and attentive and store is clean.I even call ahead with orders and they are always ready.They have recently been blessed with expanding to a larger building and it’s equally as impressive as their small store. I recommend my friends to them all the time especially when they are asking about nice spicy kebabs and ready made delights.Thank you Apna bazaar for being my go to store!!!

This location is extremely dangerous especially during Covid. The cashiers do not wear a mask and that is unheard of in the current climate. 1000s of customers come through the check out line in a week and the cashiers could be spreading Covid to them. Please avoid this place at all cost if you value your life because they dont.

No other place like it in my opinion. Fresh meat, quality products, great staff. Nothing more to say other than Apna Bazaar is my go-to place for almost anything.

It’s very good place and there’s everything you need . They put a sign for face mask BUT I saw many people not wearing a mask at all and some of their staff are not warring a mask .

I love so many things about it. I walked through the aisles and saw so many Moroccan items that I grew accustomed to while living in Morocco. Seeing these things brought back many happy memories.

Lots of choices, but prices were not marked it was quiet frustrating & if they were marked some of them were wrong prices .Employees were friendly.

Love the store but Im hoping that the owner address this issue with the cashier. She kept telling me that my card is declined. I told her that was not likely bc I know I have sufficient amount to cover my purchase. Finally she said oops my bad I thought you had food stamps. Well, why would she assume that???Ummm. Wont be back. I have no tolerance for nonsense.
