One of the first pawn shops I ever visited, more than 16 years ago. The owner was polite, and helpful. I wanted to sell some sterling silver, he valued my items and was very gracious with his offer to buy. I’ve returned many times and have always been treated with care and respect. Tampa Gun and Pawn is family owned and operated, seven days a week! Always something new there!

Really greasy owner, literally. Shop reeks of smoke. Tried to give me 250.00 for a 1500.00 wedding set. Said that stores sale jewelry at a 200% mark up. He assumed I got my rings from the mall when I actually purchased them from Sams club. So by his logic whenever you buy jewelry you are overcharged and whenever you sale it you get robbed. Wow I have insurance and certificates of authentication and over paid on rings. Or did he just discriminate against me?

Would give no stars if possible!! Went in to purchase a weed eater and when I asked the guy behind the counter where they were and see said if I have any there over there and pointed in a corner of the store. Once I chose the best looking one out of the pile stacked in a corner of the store, I proceeded to the counter and asked how much it was and because it was a reasonable price I told him Id buy it if it started. He said that he wouldnt be able to start it up for me because of the gas in it.... So I left. Overall terrible customer experience.

The guy was nice but when he was looking at my gun he said he couldnt take it which is fine but when I asked him do you think anyone would he said no there no market for those nobody wants h and r 410 single shotguns anymore so I took it to shooter world and they gave me $75.00 for it. So what I am saying make sure youre on your up and up about the merchandise people bring in to you.

While not being the most eye pleasing store hes got the cheapest prices in town,recently I purchased a ring from him. The same ring I saw at Citrus Park mall for over 900.00 dollars I got for 350.00. I will continue to shop there.

Be aware! We were robbed and the burglars were caught and arrested immediately . Our stuff had been pawned at Value Pawn - who gave us all our items back for free, but Tampa Pawn wants me to buy my stuff back!
