I have been here several times and have had a good experience each time. They have a great selection and pretty much anything you may be looking for to add to your coin collection. My favorite spot in the store is the bargain table. They also carry supplies, and have ample parking. Highly recommend stopping by this shop!

Hardly any stamps at all for sale at this place. Did buy 2 packs of hinges. Should not be advertised as a stamp store. Needs to remove sign from out front. No clue about other stores or clubs in the area.

Went there with my neighbor to help him buy some junk silver. The owner was able to sell him what he had and was very fair about the pricing. The whole experience was good for my friend as he was able to get some junk silver and was treated very fairly. Thanks for the great experience and help for my friend.

Wasnt a good experience, as a business owner myself I felt there was no communication when I entered, Customer service giving was like if I was a bother. I wont return or recommend.

I had a great experience here. The store has a perfect selection of coins, bullion, high and low grade coins, etc. everything looks sorted and well placed.Got some coins at a very decent price... allowed me to pick out the ones I wanted... took time to talk with me and was polite. When they weren’t 100% sure about something they triple checked to make sure they were selling me the correct item.I’d come here again without hesitation. Many of the negatives talk about rude people but I didn’t experience anyone rude here.

Very unfriendly, arrogant, bad customer service

Was purchasing gold & silver coins, invoice filled out & cash on counter. Salesman asks for drivers license. Ok no problem. Then he writes down my DL #. I ask him why, don’t remember this happening here before (or anywhere else ever for that matter) He says they take DL # for every transaction. I can understand if I was selling gold or silver but not buying. After failing to provide an adequate reason I told him no sale. Returned home a checked previous invoices, none of them had my personal info at all, not even name.Those guys are cranky & rude anyway. I spend quite a bit on precious metals & try to spread that $$$$ around to local businesses, even traveled the extra miles because I was off that day. Never Again. Also I called ahead that day & was quoted X on a particular item, when I arrived an hour later it was $3 more. It was the weekend, spot prices don’t change. Shady.

Growing up in Tampa, Eddie and his store treated me and and father really well. I was just a 14 year old kid and my dad was too nice to negotiate or ask for any pricing than was on a coin label. Eddie often gave nice discounts when he didnt have to. Depending on the specific coin and market, hed knock a few bucks off just to make sure a Dad and his son continued to have a good time in the hobby. I noticed it then as a kid and I have seen him in the 25 years since at various coin shows and I always take the time to say hello and thank him for the service and kindness he showed us.

Best store in the Tampa Bay Area for Old rare RAW coinage. I have been going to Village Stamp and Coin since 1991 and I have bought and sold coins with no problems and always a great deal ! - ONLY DEAL WITH ED OR JACK, THE OTHER GUY JUST LOOKS AT THE RETAIL COIN PRICE GUIDE AND OVER CHARGES. Also, The woman that works there is very nice to me when I am at the store and she deals in Jewelry, so give her a shot !

I just want to say what a great experience Ive had dealing with these guys. I took my childhood coin collection in and they were more than fare on the price they gave me for it, honest about what I should keep for later sales and definitely know their business well! Thank you!!!

I have just started collecting coins and had no idea where to start. These guys steered me in the right direction and helped educate me. At first I was a little hesitant, but when I spoke with other more experienced collectors, they said they were dead on. This made me feel more comfortable and I am beginning to become a serious customer. I highly recommend this place.

The guy that helped me was very disrespectful throwing around coins I brought it. And didnt even look at at everything I did bring in and assumed they were worthless. Little did he know Ive already got them appraised by someone else. He was also very disrespectful to the older couple before me and the way of saying what they had was worthless was uncalled for. Do not recommend this place to ANYONE. Honestly they need to go out of buisness.

After speaking to the gentleman on the phone he sounded quite interested in a piece of currency that I had and asked for me to drive 45 miles one way for him to inspect it. literally all he did was grab a book from behind the shelf and say oh this is not what I thought it was and showed me the exchange rate and it no further research. When I explained to him that with this particular serial number all of the bills were destroyed because of PETA complaining about animal fat being used to make the bills he just gave me a dumbfounded look and said have a good day. He could have done that over the phone if I could give the store zero stars or negative stars that would easily be my review. Im sorry he would rather waste peoples time money and gas just so he can see something he has not yet seen that is what Google is there for. Find another reputable dealer because this guy clearly does not know what hes talking. Find

Terrible place.Rip offs.How anyone can honestly say that they are helpful and honest have forgotten its a business, they gotta keep the lights on,plus taking advantage of customers lack of knowledge and overpriced for their merch..or pay you less than a fair rate for yours..Stay away unless you know your stuff,as they have taken advantage of me before I uped my knowledge.Better service at the flea market.The bargain bend is marked up double,so when you think you are getting 50%off..youre paying retail..I checked pricing on my phone as I looked in the bend and walked out.They also sold someone I know fake bar (s).But on the bright side, if you keep going back..They may give you a fair deal after youve over payed a few times.

I took collectible coins in this place. That this person in there would not even look at or what I had a picture of on the phone was very cocky and rude will never go back in there ever again

The good news: they had funds available to purchase all the american eagle and other gold coins I was selling. The bad news: they were the lowest estimate (though asserting they were offering solely the gold bullion price, other dealers offered more even just for bullion price). Also, did not even look at the condition of any of the coins, whereas another dealer acknowledged that at least one coin would be worth more if it were to be certified in good enough condition. (coin was a gold commemorative coin from US Mint).Staff somewhat abrupt, but not downrated for that.

Complete joke of a store if you are going for stamps... Brought in old stamps late 1800s to early 1900s, had the stamps In books and envelopes, the man took the envelopes packed with stamps doesnt even look at whats in it more than 5 seconds sets it down and does the same thing with the next envelopes and then flips through the books not even looking at the stamps on the page and then proceeds to push everything towards me and says you dont have anything.... He didnt even look at what I had!!!! Obviously didnt want anything to do with them and was a complete waste of my time.... Why is stamps in the name of this store!?

So I have been coming to this place for a long time and I wanted to return few things and it also said on the receipt that if you have this receipt you can return it and I had it with me and all but they didn’t take any return and why? Because I have returned few things before and he said “ohhh you came here before to return like 3 times and originally I have only done it once” and this was my second time so it’s like they are also lying to your face and not professional service at all, I had been coming here for a 9 months now but I can say it for sure I’m not returning ever. Terrible customer experience/Service. I rather drive an hour away. And also wish there was zero star rating because they don’t deserve it anymore.

Several months ago I purchased 2 buffalo nickels and $1 silver certificate dollar bill. The employees were nice. I will come back soon.

I called these guys and asked what there over spot price was. I was told a 1.50 which is very high for none face silver bouillon bars. But I still came in to see what they had. When I got there they told me price was 2.00 over spot and I was like what you lied to me on the phone! Integrity is everything when a company has none I will not do business with them after I challenged them they were gonna match the phone price. But it was to late

Mixed feelings but overall was satisfied. First time I visited the shop I didnt get a lot of TLC. Next time, the same individual was fair and pleasant. Amount offered for my coin collection was fair.

The guy behind the counter was very aggressive and ride. He seemed uninterested in anything I had to show. He just tossed around my items and said he wasnt buying unless it was silver or gold. Dont even try to show him anything modern or error. He will try to lie and make you second guess your own judgement. I felt very disrespected as a collector. This man really discourages local collectors.

I would give zero stars if I could. I walked in the store with my husband to try and sell our grandfather’s old coins and stamps. The man working there was immediately rude and was throwing around our items that we brought in and wasn’t even really taking a good look at any of them to see if there was value. He would throw in front of us the things he wasn’t interested in and would make snide comments of reasons why he didn’t want them. I tried to talk a little bit about what I had brought in and he just starred at me like I was stupid.When we told him he was being a little rude, he aggressively pushed our stuff back towards us and told us to get out of his store, along with calling my husband an “a**hole” for telling him that he was being astonishingly rude and disrespectful!!! We were completely dumbfounded by the whole experience and I’ve never been treated so badly at any establishment before. We thought we were in the twilight zone. So I guess if you don’t have anything considered CRAZY valuable, don’t come here!!!!

Great store with lots of coins. Their coins are priced cheaper than many other stores in Tampa.Let me tell you, its cheaper to buy coins from them, but you also get very little money if you sell your coins to them.

Poor customer service. I walked in and inquired about a coin. One guy glanced at it, didnt even touch it, and saidits not worth anything. I left and went to a pawn shop around the corner and got $20 for it. They did not want to even make an effort,. I would not recommend them to anyone whois not sure what they have.

Go somewhere else give someone else your money these guys dont need it they are just collectors. they had everything put up and only after asking multiple times. One jackass put down one small gold coin for me to look at. Like I am going to just throw money at them and leave. These guys are deffently not salesmen. I was ready to spend at least 300 on something if they just had time for me.

Do not do business here, there are many other places in the area to go where you will get better prices and have a much better experience. The owner of this shop, who regularly works there along with one other person, is extremely dishonest to the point of thievery. When selling rare coins, you should not have to look their price up before going to the dealer to make sure you get fair price. Every other coin shop has offered me fair and correct prices always. Without knowing there were very significant differences in value between different years of some coins I had, the owner really screwed me over. Afterwards going to other coin shops with the same coins, same years and quality, when they looked them up they offered over double what I was paid here, actually about a $300-$400 difference, so he took me for about $1000 all together. Just so dishonest, should not be how they make money ripping people off, the other half dozen or so shops I have been to always, always quote the correct values. Please do not go here, do not support such a bad person.

Village Stamp & Coin was very friendly and honest when I was selling my inherited gold coins and offered about 10% more than a jewler I have been using for many years.

First time in the store not really for me first time going to a coin shop ever and feel like I could have gone somewhere else they didnt really look at all my coins just skimmed through most and got offered 18 dollars
