Horrible experience. They replaced 2 panels of my garage door that were supposed to be new, but one of them had bents in it. Called to replace (as they are not cheap) and took forever for a tech to come back with another new panel. The other new panel was wrong piece. They were supposed to come back out to replace to bad panel they installed. It has been over 6 months and they still have not. Do NOT recommend.

As distributors, they have all the parts needed to fix your garage door sooner than others. The service was very easy to set, from the initial call for an estimate as well as the installation (in my case was a single panel).I considered it a little pricey for just one panel ($482), but they have everything on hand and fast. 7 days in this case.Will definitely recommend them as the transaction was smooth and forward, as it should be. The technician was very kind and respectful and I liked that was the same person who came to make the estimate.

SCAMMED by the SALESMAN. Called this company to get a quote. Appointment was set and Abraham showed up. He gave us a quote that we were happy with and we decided to move forward. After giving him a credit card for the 50% deposit he contacted us multiple times letting us know he could not fill the order at the quoted price unless we went with a color and style we didnt want. To get the color we wanted was an additional $2000 and windows were more. We tried to call him multiple times but never got a call back. Called the company line today and we were told they never heard of this person even though the appointment was scheduled by calling the same number.

Touch notch service by Johnny, our repair guy. Arrived early for appointment and was quick. Very knowledgeable with equipment and was able to get our repairs covered by warranty. Even helped set up our second garage door keypad. Definitely would recommend Banko and Johnny for your service calls. Thanks again.

Anthony did a great job. He explained what he did to service the doors in detail. He also told me what light bulbs to use when the current ones burn out. Warned me that the belts on the doors may need to be replace in the next couple of years based on their age.

Our garage door just stopped working one day. We have owned the house for 5 years. We found the sticker on the door and saw that it was installed in 2003. So I called and made an appointment for a service person to come take a look. The office staff member who took my call and assisted me was very professional and answered all my questions. We booked an appointment and a few days later the service guys came and said it needed to be replaced. They installed our new garage door opener and Wow, what a difference. The Lift Master garage door opener is so quiet and the technology with the app and Amazon Key entry is fabulous. I never have to drive back to see if I remembered to close my door!! Thanks for a quality product, friendly and professional service and office staff.

I replaced my older doors with new ones (same manufacturer and style). However, they were not installed correctly and/or have defects. Specifically, there is spacing where light shines through only in between a couple panels, not all of them. I called and scheduled an appointment, where the technician showed up to spend less than 5 minutes at my residence, was rude, and made zero adjustments. They scheduled another appointment with the same technician, who came out and made zero adjustments and tried to add weather stripping in between the couple panels. I told him no, that he needed to adjust them then he proceeded to tell me that hes not going to argue and just left my residence. I called Banko again and spoke to the quality control department. They informed me that the manufacturer allows for a nickel size gap in between each panel. Clearly, this is incorrect and not in any of my paperwork from the manufacturer. Banko sent the quality control manager to my residence where he made zero adjustments and wants to schedule another site visit with a rep from the manufacturer instead of fixing the issue. Do not go with this Company!!! I am now escalating this issue since Banko has done absolutely nothing but waste my time.

Banko doors used to be the best in town, but after this I would not recommend Banko. I called and emailed in multiple times late April for a commercial door replacement wanting to get this done before hurricane season. After more calls Anthony said he needed to send someone out to recheck the measurements. Its four months later and still no response and when you try calling Banko you cannot get past the operator to talk to Nick or any senior personal.

Our garage door was not closing properly and the technician Derrick was able to diagnose the problem immediately and had the broken part replaced in 30 minutes and for under $200. Another company wanted to replace the entire motor as well as every other part for more than 10x this amount! Thank you Banko for your honest and knowledgeable technicians! We told all of our neighbors about our great experience with you!

We had a piece of wood split that we definently could not fix ourselves because it required a lot of dismantling of the door hardware. It was obviously a framing flaw but Daniel West came out, the same day I called, to replace it and he did an AMAZING job! He also educated me on routinely greasing areas of my door and explained a few others things to me as well. As a first time homeowner I really appreciated it! Great service! We called Banko on a Saturday because our garage door spring broke, and our vehicles were trapped inside. Dave made it to our house within a couple of hours and replace the spring within about 20 minutes. The price was quoted up front and was reasonable. He also checked the rest of the parts of the garage door, lubed everything, and made sure the garage door was functioning properly when done. Overall, a great experience, and would recommend Bank to all.

Dan was thorough. What started with a broken spring went on to become a major overhaul of the hardware. This is not really bad news: As we went through the garage door hardware, and the age of all of it, I came to realize that spending a bit more today would save money on the long run. The house has now a smooth, and quite garage door experience - nothing we have seen in years. This despite the door being serviced by another company less than 2 year ago. Definitely not as thorough as Banko is.

Gene is fantastic! He (as well as Banko) does really quality work and stands behind it. Customer service is excellent! Gene came out the first time several weeks ago in order to repair our garage door which was binding and wouldnt close, even manually, and the cable had come loose. He came within a couple of hours of my call to Banko, even though he was already very busy that day. He replaced part of the track on one side, which was bent, and several old rollers, adjusted and lubricated everything, and of course fixed the cable. The cost for all of this was very reasonable - less than I was anticipating. Gene came back again today, again within a couple of hours of my call, even though he was already very busy. One of the rollers had popped out of the track. But it turned out that this was due to a different contractors mistake. The contractor repaired the garage wall a couple of weeks ago and incorrectly put a board up against one of the tracks, but the garage door was still working until today. Gene identified the problem right away, and I was able to get that corrected quickly.UPDATE: Gene came back on September 27 to fix the door again, because it jumped off the tracks again. I called about 11 to report the problem, and he was able to come by at 2, which was really great. It turns out that the problem this time is due to the garage being almost 100 years old and it has settled more. Gene repaired it so that its working again. Once again, professional, expert, timely service, which I really appreciate!

I was having trouble getting my garage door down so called Precision for an estimate. Was told about 750.00 to replace the opener and another 950.00 to replace the installation in the wall above the door itself. Too high in my eyes so I went for a second opinion from Banko. That company replaced the opener circuit board for 240.00. I guess working on commission justifies hiking up the price three-fold. NOT FOR ME. Thank you Brett B (tech) for helping me.

We had several quotes from local companies to fix a broken wire, all except Banko inflated the price stating things like the spring needed replaced or various other parts of the door need fixed that had nothing to do with the issue.Had two quotes over $750 and Banko got the door fixed and good as new for $150. Weve used them a few times now and every time they have done fantastic work for a fair price. Absolutely terrific. Arrived precisely on time and performed a complete garage door opener for a surprisingly reasonable price. (The biggest name in the area wanted several time as much for the same job.) Also programmed an external keypad for no charge. Installer Anthony is personable as well as thorough. FANTASTIC!!!!!! I originally called that other garage door company in the area because my garage door spring snapped. Banko was less expensive by far, and the technician they sent out J. Torres was so wonderful. He was patient, and explained everything. My garage door was fixed and my wallet didnt suffer. They also adjusted everything to ensure it runs better then before.

Good work, but seems pricey. The tech was courteous and did a good job. Having said that, I didn’t get competing estimates before authorizing the job. I paid $730 to have the torsion springs replaced, cable replaced, and tracks lubed, etc. Now as I talk to people and research, it seems like paid a significant premium for the work.

I installed a new garage door opener and noticed the door wasnt balanced. I had Precision come out and they told me that the wrong springs were installed and they were going to charge me $600 to install two new springs since they couldnt adjust the ones we have. I called Banko for a second opinion. Apparently they installed the springs for the previous homeowner. They sent out the original technician who put a quarter turn on the springs and balanced the door perfectly. Thanks for saving me $600 Banko!

I called about our garage door no longer wanting to open completely anymore. The young lady that I spoke with to schedule my appointment was so sweet and made arrangements for the tech to call me when he was on the way so I had time to leave work and meet him at my house. The tech arrived on time and was knowledgeable about what the problem was. He was honest with his assessment of our door and didnt try to sell me things I didnt need, which I appreciated. Asked to have the existing garage door, weather stripping, and all items related to the garage door removed and replaced with new (we orderd a new opener from them as well). When the technicial came out, he took it upon himself to leave the existing t brackets and connected the new track to them and there were dirty handprints left all over the exterior of the door. He also nailed and caulked over the existing weather stipping although it was clearly peeling off the house and needed to be completely replaced. When we called to have them come back to fix it we were then told we would have to pay fee for them to return. We tried to fight it and provided email communication prior to the install which showed we were pormised this would all be removed and replaced. This communication was supposedly given to the COO (which did absolutely no good) and we were told the fee would still be owed for them return to do the job we had asked them to do from the very beginning. Extremely disappointed with the quality of work and customer servicewe received. Would not recommend to anyone.

He installed the new opener and springs in an efficient and competent manner. He explained how everything worked and even programmed our car to open the garage door. The torsion bar of my 16 foot wide garage door was bent and cause the cables to pop off their rollers, thus not allowing the door to operate. The service technician Jeff replaced the bar, the cables, and all 10 rollers (the rollers were not damaged by the bent bar, but were 20 years old and I asked that they be replaced). The conditions were very cramped on one side of the door. Jeff literally crawled into the space to work on attaching that side cable.The door now works perfectly. Jeffs work ethic is beyond compare. One would be honored to include this person as an employee within their company.I will recommend Banko Overhead doors to any who ask. I will definitely use them again.

So I thought I was getting a great garage door at a reasonable price. Till I got the first rain storm. Right away my garage started leaking on the inside. So I called they sent a tech out. I was not home so I have no idea what they did. My wife just assumes that everyone is honest and that they will do the repair. The next rain storm same leak same problem same spot. So I call again send pictures the receptionist very rude and tell me I’m out of warranty. I try to explain that they were just out less than 3 weeks ago to fix the leak. She tell me I’m sorry you are out of warranty. I try to talk to someone hire up tells me no one is available. She promised that I would get a call back never received one. What happened to integrity and honesty. I will never do business with them. My 15 year old door that I replace did not leak. So here I have a insulated door that leaks every time it rains.

Our old door was falling apart at the hinges and creaky/cranky chain drive.We got a new Chlopay door and Liftmaster belt motor. Its real nice, quiet and smooth. The tech Orlando was great. There was a little gap along the top that we were afraid the door would flush up to but he made it go in fine.A real pro job. Thanks Banko, you can really notice the new door from the inside and outside. Our rep was nice. also.

Overall things went well with Banko and we like our garage doors. Unfortunately, the measurements were not quite correct and while they offered to send the new doors so that they would be seated properly, they still have not sent the new doors, nor do they keep us informed as to when they will be arriving even after multiple phone calls so this is upsetting.
