This place is great. So many staff and they are INTERESTED in you and helping you out. I have had to go there three times now to get my issue fixed and it has been totally cool and easy to get seen. I recommend this specific store.
Came in to have the glass (screen) on my iphone 10 replaced.Asked them to NOT update my phone (dont need their tracking & other updates that slow down my phone). Not only did they take over 3 hours, but after they agreed, they DID IT ANYWAY. Do not trust them to work on your tech or honor your requests.
Apple will make you wear a mask and not come in the store for social distancing. So you order your phone weeks in advance. Get to the store, then they try to put you in a massive Disney World style line packed with people to wait for them to get your order, which isnt quite yet ready. So they protect themselves, but if you want your phone, you can test your luck in the pig pen with 80-100 people, some maskless, tightly packed. What an absolute joke.
Pretty good experience having seen it in May 2021 for the first time with a long line to get inside due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now there is no longer a line needed, but there are Apple employees at the front to check guests in to have their questions answered either on the day of or for another day. Re-visited back in July 2021 to let them know the left tip of the AirPods Pro popped off with trying to switch the medium-sized ear lobe to a small-sized one. Accidentally the electronic part came out, and I broke it.The two Apple store employees immediately told me it is a fake, non-genuine Apple AirPods Pro. What gave it away was the lettering on the box was crooked instead of straight (they can provide more details if you ever stumble upon fake AirPods). In addition the button on the charging case sounds different compared to genuine AirPods Pro. I am grateful for their customer service and letting me know because I wasnt able to schedule an appointment (no availability) because it was urgent.
The sales assistant lied! Told me I had to purchase a new charger for my phone. When I pulled out my phone and charger I was saddened by the fact it was not a new charger apple come up with. But the same as my prior phone. Wish I had stopped anywhere else In The world and worked with honest salesman.
My husband’s laptop have been cracked. We decided to come to the store to transfer files from his old laptop to a new one. Stuff was very helpful. We purchased a new laptop with no waiting. Also as a students we got an AirPods for free + discount for AppleCare. Transferring was complete less than a day instead of 3-5 business days. Great experience! Definitely would come back again
Friendly and inviting staff. Product inventory seemed ample. Price are expensive and certain products are definitely not worth the cost. All and all a great store of your looking for an apple product.
Raiduel I’m so sorry most likely misspelled his name Was absolutely AMAZING!!! He has a wonderful personality wonderful to work with he loves working for Apple had only great things to say about working for Apple he’s been with the company 8 years. He knows his stuff he fixed my phone after not working for over two weeks. Thank you for haves such wonderful talent on your team to help your customers. He deserves a raise!
I was there on launch day. 10th in line arriving at 5am. Was one of the first persons in. I was assigned to Steven. I could not have had a worse experience. He was disinterested in helping, he was pushy, rude, disrespectful and lied. I spoke with a superior who was the same. Ultimately the store manager got involved who had to resolve everything. Still, it was not smooth, uncomplicated or without significant problems to the point I drove 4 hours round trip to Orlando for purchase and resolve. The Apple Store at Millenia Mall was the epitome of the Apple experience and should be “the” example for every part of the Apple company, employees and management. The experience was absolutely unacceptable, and traumatic on a personal level. Intervention is needed from the highest levels.
I made an appointment, for 4:15, arrived early as usual as if you are not 15 minutes early, you are late. I thought the checkin process went smoothly so I found my spot, with direction, and waited, waited, and waited for a simple Apple Watch replacement as my device just died on me, and I understand that happens. I have no issue with the mask thing, this past year, well almost two years, has been hell for everyone, keep it classy. The quality of people watching at an Apple store, wow, I could write a book. I finally got my time and it was only due to a young Gent named Christian who noticed I was just chilling in my spot, not the other 10 ‘geniuses” or the Manager; sight unseen in the collection of humanity trying to get problems, both big and small sorted out. I have been a Apple customer for a long time now, everyone’s time is valuable, Apple your walled garden approach, along with the idea of a premium product, fails, when 1/10 of your staff is on top of things, while the remainder is not paying attention! Thank-you for Christian, a personable, professional, gent who clearly cares more than you, whoever has supervision on this store needs to get some work done. I am thankful, that my repair will be mailed home, just a few more gallons of fuel, I am sure another disclaimer on how thankful I should be that I purchased Apple care. Thank-you Christian, I hope you are having good-times on your days off, and one day, develop the next thing. Salute, Jake
Apple Store at International Plaza and Bay Street in Tampa is a great place to try out different Apple products prior to making a purchase. I really like the selection here and all of the different items that they have available here. The staff here is very knowledgeable and available to answer all questions.
Brooke is AMAZING. 10/10 service. Everyone here is super nice and helpful!
Arrogant staff. Absolutely horrendous experience… as a customer who is coming to spend money at their store, they should be welcoming and attentive to you as the client. This experience was anything but that. The arrogance with every single employee was unbelievable. They also need to employee better- not having an understanding of all the products is embarrassing and a waste of the clients time.
Dane at the store was nothing but awesome and attentive towards me! Keep up the good work!
It was very nice easy productive visit. Really appreciate what the technician “Aqeel” did. He was knowledgeable very understanding and professional. He could find out the issue in my daughter phone immediately and fix it quickly. Very impressive. Thank you Aqeel!!
The staff here are all brain dead. Very limited product knowledge. One of the 5 people we were passed around to was nice. The other 4 were awful. The person we were forced to buy the phone from was a rat. He threw an item we explicitly didnt want in our bag and snuck it into the bill.Id rather get a colonoscopy from a rusty chain link fence than have to go to this store again.
Probably the friendliest and most helpful Geniuses I have encountered. Almost every electronic I own is Apple and usually dread heading into an Apple Store. The workers tend to be pushy and not the most helpful. But I enjoyed my visit to pick up my new Macbook this past week. Definitely one of the better Apple Stores in my opinion.
Complete waste of time going to this store. Even if you have apple care they will find a problem with your phone so you have to pay out of pocket. Simple problem of replacing the screen because of bug problems not even cracked screen. And they assume the phone is water damaged. They don’t try to fix the phone they will try to make more money
Had to get my phone warrantied here. The appointment process worked very well and it went quickly. The employee was helpful and friendly. All in all a very good experience.
Great service and experience today at the Apple store in Tampa. My customer support was done by Mr Jeff Gibson. He was professional, efficient and extremely courteous. Seek him out if you need anything Apple.
These guys are Great. They shoot you straight and make sure you leave happy and you have what you need.
The first representative they assigned to me was very unprofessional & rude (short Hispanic girl brown hair heart tattoo on her finger) complained to her manager abt assisting me w/ replacing my iPhone (it’s a very simple process that only takes 10 mins) THEN was assigned a different staff member to assist me (white blonde girl w/ black glasses) the 2nd staff member assigned to me was very friendly & willing to assist me & I’m grateful for her help. 3/10 I will never go back to this store, I’d rather lay in the street.
Just because not professional stuff, not loyal company, even Face ID bug coming with their IOS upgrade, I have to fix the bug and pay money for. Will definitely looking for a other brand. Keep going the same direction to the bottom, please.
Is there ANYTHING more frustrating than trying to contact someone at an Apple Store? Seriously, every call is rerouted to Apple Support that does not have specific information about my repair. The roundtrip to the store is 60 miles and often made in vain when a simple conversation would have resolved the issue. Love the products. Hate the automated system!!!
Come watch employees visit with each other and not engage with you to fix your problem.
I walked in with my wife and my daughter. Took 2 steps in, random guy leaning back on a desk, texting, tells me I have to check in, that theyre at full capacity. Not at all in friendly manner, this might as well be a night club, and that bouncer should be outside not leaning and texting. I didnt even bothered checking in.
After multiple attempts to get an appointment to replace airbuds still under manufacture warranty, went to the store in person. I was told the only way to get Apple to honor the warranty was make a service appointment in 3 to 5 days. A simple exchange due to manufacture product failure. Wont be a Apple customer much longer but I am sure they dont really care.
Apple still can’t figure out how to handle product release. They want people apart which is great but when you have over 100 people in line and their priority is having over 50% of the workforce walking around and mingling instead of focusing of delivering the product is annoying. Had a 9am appointment and got there early not to be seen until 10am.
The entry process to most foreign embassies is less complicated than getting into this mall Apple store. The absurd covid theatre run by bossy geniuses and goofy private security armed with temperature guns and complicated, roped-off lines makes one feel as if they are in a communist government office somewhere in the developing world. It stands in embarrassing contrast to the rest of the mall where life has returned to normal and people are happy and well served.
I was iffy on visiting this store based on the reviews and was surprised at the service I received when I decided to go anyway for a couple of purchases. The staff was nothing but kind, catering, and efficient. I was unable to enter the actual store as it was at capacity but they brought the items to me, showed samples, and was naturally well informed.Clearly this store is taking on the brunt of the Tampa’s Apple population and due to the pandemic I’m sure they’re overwhelmed. In my experience this didn’t deter the staff - on a holiday weekend no less. If you need serviced, go with patience and understanding and I think that will go a long ways. Apart from that, I believe the store deserves a higher rating than a 3.7.
Trish did a great job, she fixed my MacBook and provided very nice customer service. 10/10
Very nice and clean. Best mall I have been too
Apple stores need to learn what customer service is. They are the rudest most arrogant people I’ve ever had to deal with. It’s a hurry up and wait scenario for them to be rude to you some more!!
They were overwhelmed from the start. Before the store even opened there were at least 30 people waiting in line. It is a big store with what looks like many options, but we werent waiting in line for however long for a watch replacement on a weekend vacation. Sorry Apple. Lost business (temporarily) that day.
Sent in a phone as a trade in. It was in great condition, not even a scratch on the display. Whatever crooked company they contract with claimed the display was damaged and wouldnt give the full value quoted. Total scam. First and last Apple phone we will ever buy.
Busy location. Nice store and associates.
My phone completely died and I went to the Apple store at International mall and first it was a nightmare to get someone to even listen to me. I finally got this lady(maybe her name was Donna) older, thin lady, with salt an pepper hair to sell me a brand new $1250 Pro Max. She was selling phones to 2 other people at he same time. Since I an not tech savvy, I was having an issue trying to download the data from my previous phone and she totally ignored me after I ha’ve paid. Thankfully, the gentleman from AT&T that was also pursuing a phone showed more concern with my issues and was trying to help me despite of all the Apple Care representatives that were around me. Awful experience!
Pretty cool place! Definitely worth checking out even if youre not buying anything. Lol
Going to this Apple store is, by far, the worst part of buying, or servicing Apple products.I do understand that the last year has changed the way we shop, but there has to be a better way to do it.The store is way too small to accommodate the amount of customers. It was that way before the pandemic and it’s even more apparent now.If Apple is paying attention please relocate the store and either get rid of the current staff, or retrain them. There are a lot of one star reviews over employee attitudes.
They want you to wear a mask, so I bought at best buy instead.
Negative: The Security guard was arrogant, condescending and rude to my family. I know it’s not Apple per se, but I would give a 5 -Star rating if not for him.Positive: The female security guard was as nice as can be. We only had to wait about half an hour before we were seen. So, that was good. The Apple staff was amazingly nice and very professional. The store was very clean as well.I work for the press and I understand how first impressions can be lasting. You need to find someone else that fits in with your friendly staff and brand.
Masks, mask, masks. Sad they would not give me permission to come in due to MYSELF having claustrophobic issues with wearing a mask. Counties passed these protections but is a joke with many BIG TECH places such as Apple as they treat you like second class citizens. I will remember this when it comes time later this fall to upgrade phones. Science is what they should be going by, not the PC stuff that is going on now with cases/deaths way way down.
Just wanted to recognize an employee at this store named Reuel. I was having a very bad week topped off with my phone being damaged and he spent the time with me coming up with ever option to fix my phone. Our interaction turned my whole week around so just wanted him to know he is much appreciated. Thanks Reuel!
These guys do a really professional job. Nothing but the best for Apple. Had my iPhone screen replaced in about an hour
Store is poorly managed, multiple employees roaming mindlessly around store. Managers seamed extremely over whelmed with minimal amount of customers. Disappointed to say the least.
Very nice store with kindest customer service.
Ive had better service at an applebees
Worst apple experience I’ve ever had. This store is terrible. The leadership and employees seem obsessed with mask usage, so much so that the person helping me did as little as possible in attempt to get me out of there. I had to come back a week later to turn in my trade because these people were too paranoid I didn’t have a mask. Constant lines, long waits, the place is a madhouse. I will avoid this store at all costs.
Always getting taken care of and explained if anything ever goes wrong. Staff and managers are very kind and nice to staff. Been coming here for ever.
Purchased online. Walked in, was helped within a minute and out within 7 minutes
What a horrible way to treat people. The worst customer service I’ve experienced in years. Shame on you. The only person that even apologized for the way the staff spoke to customers was the paid security guard.
Came to the store 1 hour before they close and after putting a guy in front of us and NO ONE behind us and all we wanted to do was look at a new iPad to buy and they said no and told us to leave, that they wouldn’t have time for us, ONE HOUR BEFORE CLOSING. If they were busy sure I totally understand but they were far from busy, I’m disappointed in the way I was treated today, I’m a loyal customer who has to work for these nice products and drive ridicules miles to come to a store after a long day at work, by the way the drive is 2 hours, I was basically told I wasted my time. Felt very disappointed and disrespected and the was rude and cold.
The managers Wayne and Rachel were completely disrespectful and refused to help me. I am appalled by the way i was treated and refused assistance.
If anyone knows a way for me to speak a manager at this location, please let me know.
Utter disappointment, I am an Apple masters member, AT&T store manager, My store and I sell a lot of devices for Apple. Came to this store and can’t do anything for my device which is under 1 year warranty and battery at 83% because their system says is running at good rate and not below 80%. They want to charge $80 + tax to replace the battery which again, I’m under the year warranty still!! Nice way to treat your loyal customers and members.
I went into the store to buy a new iPad and they were very friendly, knowledgeable and I love the warranty I was able to purchase from them.
Went to trade in our old iPhone max and got the new 12 pro max. While we were their they were very condescending. We asked if they could apply a screen protector to our new 12 pro max even before we touched it, and the lady just said no we don’t do that anymore. When I asked why they just said sorry we just don’t do it(while she rolled her eyes) . Next time I will just buy through Best Buy or someone where else that doesn’t act like there sh@t don’t stink.
Great opportunity to be with truly talented people.
Great place. Knowledgeable genius bar. Very helpful. Robert was great in walking me through my MacBook issues.
There should be a zero star. Needed a charge case for headphones. Told they were out of stock, but could BUY another pair for 100+. Waited in line, than told they had it on stock but would need an appointment to get it. I needed to catch a flight and didnt have the time. Ended up going to tmobile and they sold me wired apple headphones. Oh and Asked the sales person for his name and he refused. On the way back from tmobile I asked another rep why I was giving two different answers and why I couldnt get the employees first name so I could voice my complaints and he didnt have an answer. I also noticed they had 3 security guards watching me. I hope someone from this company sees this and reached out. It was the worst customer service Ive ever received
Currently still waiting on the walk-in line since 11am. The guy told me it would be an hour, it’s going on 2! No update or anything. I want to buy the MacBook Pro and iPhone 12pro. $2700 total. Really thinking about just leaving due to this terrible experience.
I was there to get my AirPods fixed and they work great now!!! But on my way out I was looking at some case and accessories and a older guy that worked walked up and said you can’t look at there’s and made us walk away! So that was not ok way to lose a sale on some products );
While I believe the process of getting access to technical resources needs to be made more clear to the public, in this case, once accessed the support given by tech Renault was extraordinary. Thank you!
Staff is very helpful.
Went to buy a phone and ended up converting from windows to a cool book keeper. iMac is much better on Apple iOS - any so much more.$5678 later I bought phone accessories iMac watch iPad and more. I may need to review my receipt and return what I won’t need, which they say is no problem. Great customer experience 👍
These mf always busy no matter what day or time and it’s annoying
When approaching the store, I kindly asked the security guard Where do I enter? To which I got the response, What do you want!?, to which I was confused, so I asked her to repeat the question, her response again was What do you want!?, I replied, To look and purchase a new laptop, to which she said Go make a reservation! and came within 2 feet of me. No thanks, Apple. Ill buy a Windows machine instead.
Made an appointment for what feels like no reason. You show up, they don’t check that you have an appointment and instead have you stand in a long line. How am I standing in line for an hour yet I made an appointment. How do I know the person in front of me doesn’t have an appointment for a later time than me? This is an extremely poor system they have going on here with poor customer service. I was simply trying ask a question and instead I receive a blank stare and incoherent mumbling as a response. Shocked that I am even at an Apple store. Make the appointment and show up at any time because there is no system in place to make sure someone even has an appointment or organize by appointments. People have things to do and places to be. If I make an appointment I expect to be taken at my appointment, not an hour or more later!
I love Samsung
IPhone 11***Fast and convenient.
Very rude, store doesn’t close for almost an hour and they said I couldn’t come in just to look at the new iPad after driving almost an hour to here and they put a guy in front of me. Completely trash how they treated us, pretty much said yeah you wasted your time.
Ive dealt with this store three and each time was a pleasure. First time was last October when I went to buy the new iPad Air 4, a month ago to buy an Apple watch and this past weekend when I had a Genius Bar appointment for my Airpod Pros. The first two interactions were pretty straight forward and walked away happy. The third time was a bit of a headache with no fault of Apple. There was no handicap parking near the entrance where the Apple store is located so I had to look elsewhere. I found some at the opposite end of the plaza and had to walk with my cane through crowds of people waiting their turn in different stores. It took me 15 minutes to walk to Apple making me late for my appointment. The Apple employees checking in customers went above and beyond and added me back into the queue. Another 30 minutes later and I was getting my Airpods looked at by Brooke. She did a great job keeping me up to date as to what was going on. It was discovered I had a defective pair and Brooke replaced at no charge. On a side note..... I read some reviews from people saying that this Apple store doesnt do screen protectors. During my time in the store I saw two people getting them put on their phones. An employee helping a woman across from me asked her if shed like a screen protector for her new iPhone. She agreed and he installed it.
Don’t waste your time here. A “genius” gave me completely wrong information about a product. I’m a bit older so the genius seemed to have little patience with me. Also, would-be customers have to pass through several layers of interrogation to get in. Just call Apple directly if you have a question about a product.UPDATE: Apple now has bouncers to handle unruly customers!
Don’t go during COVID protocols. Just an awful system they have in place. I made a genius appointment for 1:45 and showed up on time and waited for over an hour. They let all the purchase waiters go first and the I asked the guy in front of me waiting in the genius line what time his appointment was and he said 2:10! What’s the point of making an appointment if I show up on time and let the purchasing line always go first and letting later appointment times go in front of me?!
Ridiculous process for picking up purchases. Would not even let me in store..
Jimmy took very good care of me. Im very pleased with this store and the employees. Thank yall!
Worst telephone service ever. Apple acts like it’s doing us a favor to over-charge for unreliable and unrepairable products.
Their customer service is getting as bad as their products
Upscale stores like Gucci and vuttoun but they have a line outside their store were you have to wait to be let in, heck no!
If any Apple Stores are closed now thats mean they shouldnt sale any apple products because Apple doesnt wants to repair their products, so apple suppot just keep trying to tell customers go to others small stores for fix and repair for their products. Thats exactly mean Apple can create products, but they dont know how to fix or repair their products that they need help from a small companies for fix and repair for their products. Consequently, Apple no available for repair apple products, that they available for sell their products. Sounds very reasonable.
Waiting to get service was pretty long but the Tech. was Exceptional
This is the best Apple store. All employees are friendly and professional. I Wanted to buy an iPhone 12 pro max and Jermane helped decide which model to buy and answered all my questions. I highly recommend this store for your apple products.
3rd time going to Apple Store.Excellent service and everyone was friendlyCan’t wait to go their again :)
Worst Apple store ever terrible customer service and the management is no good as well. The security people are nice the bald black guy and taller black female. The systems seem unorganized and sluggish, everyone walks out mad. Try to avoid this location
