Super-knowledgeable company with an amazing & friendly team. My Jeep Wrangler had the wrong type of driveshaft in it, so it broke. It already had a lift kit and aftermarket modifications on it when I bought it, so I didnt know some of the specs/measurements that other companies (and the dealership) were asking for in order to find the proper driveshaft for my Jeep with the RIGHT specs.Driveshaft Specialists took their time on the phone with me to make sure I got the right driveshaft. My experience with this vendor was awful, the employee showed no professional character, when the price was provided for the repairs to my drive shaft, I asked if discounts were given to Veterans and he treated me with sarcasm. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and excellent customer service!I had the notorious Ford F-150 45-55 mph steering rumble. My diagnosis lead me to more than likely the u-joints and/or carrier bearing. Pulled the shaft and dropped off 1st thing in the a.m. They had it ready to go mid afternoon. I installed it and rumble gone!!! Thanks for the excellent job guys. I recently had to have a new driveshaft fabricated for a Pro Street 67 Camaro. I dropped off old drive shaft, new yoke and some measurements on a Friday morning. The counter staff asked the right questions handled the transaction quickly.Monday morning I was called my driveshaft was ready!! I picked it up Tuesday, new U joints, balanced, painted, awesome.Sadly the measurements I gave Driveshaft Specialist Friday were wrong, my fault, 5/8 of inch!Took the driveshaft back Wednesday morning at 10 am, explained the driveshaft was exactly the measurements I gave them, I made the mistake, gave them new measurements.I asked if I could get the modified /corrected driveshaft back ASAP as I hope to be at local car show Saturday with the car, they told me they would try.Driveshaft Specialist just called me not even 4 hours later, its done !!To sum up the team at Driveshaft Specialist demonstrated a willingness to listed and help !! First and foremost this company has outstanding customer service! About a year ago we had a 2005 Kia Sorento that had a carrier bearing fail on its drive shaft as they are known for. I kept forgetting to put this review online that they definitely deserve. It came up in my memories that I need to do it so I decided to do it today. so anyway, I took the drive shaft off myself as I was a mechanic that did not any longer have the tools necessary to pull the rest of it apart in order to replace the carrier bearing. I just have some concerns about the condition of the rest of the drive shaft. So we chose to took it to driveshaft specialists, considering theyre excellent reviews. Shane was polite, courteous, professional and outstanding. Very nice man. Pain taking the driveshaft to Shane and his associates at driveshaft specialists, they asked if I could wait a few minutes while they inspected the drive shaft to make sure that we were getting what were paying for. Shane and his Compadres found a number of other issues that would definitely have failed if we had only fixed just the carrier bearing on the drive shaft and these things would have failed in a very short period of time. This would have cost us a lot more money to pull the drive shaft out and then have these other parts for a bunch of our time. By knowing exactly what they were doing and what they were looking for. We ended up replacing a couple of the universal joint that were getting outside of their tolerance range anyways and these components would definitely have failed. Their company charged a VERY reasonable price for the work they did and I found that the parts cost was actually less than any of the auto parts stores would have charged and they used Superior Quality Parts compared to what the auto parts stores would have used. We ended up with a beautiful and renewed drive shaft with all new high-quality Parts on there and this was thanks to Shane and his associates at driveshaft specialists. What a great company! Old-school customer service traditional southern hospitality! I would highly recommend them to anyone as we had a Stellar experience there. I will definitely return again thank you guys so much!
