Wonderful selection of food that changes each day. The menu can be found online. There is plenty of options to fit the hungry scholar or scholars family. All in all a wonderful experience as food orders were processed in a timely fashion.
Nice place to eat.Been going here for three years now and always interacted with a friendly face until the past two weeks. The worker in the burger section was rude on both occasions.I ask for a burger, he ask if I wanted fry with it, I say yes, he reply with so you will let me walk over there and come back, I have to be here for eight hours in a very stern and nasty way. His walking to one side to another is three to four feet, I end up not taking the food.Last week someone in that same area was hitting the pan they heat the burger up on with a spatula for what seems like for ever.Steel hitting steel, not good with food.
Its dining hall food, better than the hub
Better than the hub but the lack of seasoning is brutal. They need to spring for hidden Valley ranch
Top tier food for really cheap, even if you don’t have a meal plan. 100% recommend
The price is sweet. Food variety is really good. This is a all you can eat buffet. A restroom within the restaurant area is one of the shortcomings of the place. Staff is helpful but improvable in terms of the service. Good place to dine and relax.
As of recently, the BEST place to eat on campus. The variety is amazing, the staff are always so friendly it makes me always want to come back. Great foodstuffs, I would recommend 2020
Place has really changed the servers are not nice and food is limited
Buffet on Friday, servers limit the food then argue with you if you want more, was in line and noticed a lady get schooled by a server on the amount of chicken she requested, come on this is only restaurant grade food not Berns Steakhouse
Good not great, cuban week every week please
Not a bad deal considering the dining options. Staff are friendly. I have made friends with some of them. Sometimes, the main options are eh, but most of the time decent. Perfect if you want a buffet. All you can eat.
One of the best dining halls in the USF Campus. Ive only been there a couple of times but the food quality, taste and aesthetic are really impressive. Looking forward to more meals at the hall.
Juniper Dining is a great dining option for students. I love the dim lighting - its great for studying and the ability to choose the music that plays throughout the hall. The fact that its all you care to eat is nice if you come in with an empty stomach.
My brother started at the university this year, and the families of the international students got a tour of the place for orientation, including eating at the dining hall. 10/10. I mean you got all the different types of food you might be feeling for on a given day, and all the parents enjoyed whatever was on their plates. From the Mexican to Indian and American kitchens, it was all good. Also, seeing as my brother doesnt cook, I was relieved at the selection
On campus dining hall at USF, all you can eat buffet. Food is well prepared and good variety, the seating arrangements could use some adjusting to be more disabled-friendly, but overall a good place to eat. Music is guest controlled via Spotify.
Same old food as always. Thats a decent thing though. They have their flipping kitchen section that has world foods though; make sure you try that out if you want something new ( and maybe spicy!)
Food variety is good overall. My only remark would be for the servers to be a bit more friendly. I understand having to serve difficult college students but a great attitude will take you a long way.
Top notch student dining. They keep improving their ingredient quality and continuously present new food options. Juniper Dining hall sets the standard for large-capacity student dining :)
Its a good place to get quick food between classes, morning BKF, or even before the gym. However, the food is generally not great, with little nutrition to be found easily. More like eat what you can stomach.
The dining hall in Poplar is a safe go to place for me when The Hub is closed. I lived in Poplar my first summer semester and it was really convenient to just go downstairs to eat. I now have to walk awhile to reach the Hub from my hall now and I do miss the convenience of Poplar dining even though the food selection is not as extensive as The Hub selection.
Great variety of food. Really reasonable buffet. Very nice wait staff. All round delicious food.
Not the best food (burger or corndogs are the best things there, and if youre not a student is very expensive
Its alright for campus food place. The food is alright, nothing special. Dont take more then two pieces of anything out, they will yell at you for that. Also if you fill any cups to take drinks out, they will also yell at you and sometimes the food isnt cooked. But looking past all that, the food is decent when it is actually cooked.
This Dinning is probably the worst at USF Campus. The cutlery and glasses are very poorly washed. Seriously, don’t go to this place if you plan to do it. The majority of the staff that attends smells very bad and causes a disagreeable smell all over the place. Also, it seems that everyone who works there hates their job. Go to The Hub, which is the best Dinning at the university (more variety and better food). By the way, this Dinning has terrible open hours, specially on weekends. Overall, I have no words to describe this Dinning, it’s a real scam... I dont understand how there are good reviews for this place, but I would definitely not recommend Juniper Dinning to anyone.
College dining hall as anywhere. The menu is lacking in content though. Youd be better off going to the hub.
Every mmeat they serve is awfully dry and bland. I understand understand that, towards the end of the semester, being understaffed becomes a real concern for the dining halls. But the hours of operation are too short and end WAY TOO EARLY for the average student. Especially considering how employees will begin to close to close up shop more than an hour before the posted closing time. Leaving hungry students with even less options.
My jewish nips were indeed very pleased with the dining
The food here is alright. Half the time the menu isnt correct, and the pasta and rice never seem to be cooked all the way through. The staff is either friendly or the exact opposite. Not to mention the Sprite and Sprite Zero almost always tastes like soda water because they dont pay attention when refilling the machine, I suppose. During lunch or dinner (during times that arent even busy), there is a lack of silverware (especially forks) and cups; youd think theyd either purchase more or be more efficient so students would have forks and cups. Honestly, it isnt great, but its not terrible, so I give it two stars. Definitely needs better management.
Its nice here and its all you can eat here! ❤
Great food for the cost.
Its so nice and cheap! But the tables were deity we had to clean the.
The managers here are the best! They really care and know this a restaurant business and not a cafeteria, unlike the other dinning hall. Even the emppoyees here are great, they are hard working and friendly. Also, the food here is amazing, the salad bar is super top notch. Wish i could say the same about fresh food dining hall, but they suck all around. I have 2 more years at USF and Juniper dining hall is my place to go for great food and great service. Thanks goes out to everyone who works there.
NO CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM IM VERY UPSET ☹️
Great place nice food understand I gave it 4 STARS
As far as dining halls go its not terrible and has a good variety
Good place to eat~ Taste is around average but considering the money you pay, its still pretty worth it.
Worked here. Amazing staff and good food
Good place to get a bite on the USF campus. One of a few buffet style restaurants on the campus
Food selection rarely changes, with food quality being sub-par. The style of food delivery is buffet, but if you ask for a good amount of one food or come back for seconds the employees respond with sass and distaste. It seems as though everyone who works there hates their job. I dont know where all these amazing reviews are coming from, but I would definitely not recommend this place.
They redid the way the dining halls worked a few years ago and not its kind of the same boring rotation. Its ok for a meal but I wouldnt want to eat there everyday.
Hub looks better, but the food here is best
I was good food but the tofu was weird
If you are planning to visit in last two hours of closure, better not to come. Otherwise, everything is good.
Great atmosphere. Great selection of restaurants. Kids loved it.
Nice selection of food and nice staff
Really liked the place, plenty of food to choose from and the quality is good!
Clean and friendly and great food. Good place too eat and relax.
Used to be better. Was not impressed with selection and quality.
You can get the best food on campus here at JP dining.
I ate food from here and then I got a 100% on my calculus test. The food has magic powers.
JPOP chicken wraps were the best. Rumor is theyre getting rid of them. Grab a wrap while you still can.
Great vegetable options & very festive environment
Its ok. Kinda wack. Got nothing on argos
Its a Campus Food place where its Buffet Style.
Pretty poor selection, over half of the serving area closed but charged the full price.
Great food and great service. The only complaint is that the ice cream machine is always having problems, which is not good during the summer.
Fairy cleaning restaurant a bit pricey but all the food is made fresh to order in was delicious
Decent food but variety lacks a lot of weeks.
Great variety of food everyday. The breakfast omelettes are wonderful!
Good taste Great staff
Dont bother showing up less then 2 hours before closing because half of the stations will have already closed. Food selection is atrocious. Taste is horrifying. Smells like the pet isle at Walmart. And somehow they managed to mess up potatoes. Better off just going to McDonalds and dying early of congestive heart failure. One star.
One of the better dining halls on campus. Usually has chicken
Better than the lone dining hall st FAU
One of the best place to eat on campus.
Disappointed. Not much variety and what was there was poor quality. The Hub was so much better.
It has great food that is well seasoned and flavored.
Great residence hall, one of the best on campus due to location, price, and amenities
Way better than the hub. The hub sucks.
The variety of selection is excellent.
Decent selection and great place to hangout with friends.
Considering the number of options in the buffet its quite impressive but the cooking is not always the best...and of course as generally students working there who are still learning the customer service is still has a lot to improve....but well its school dining ...not a star rated restaurant
Fun having lunch with my freshman!
All you can eat for less than $10! If you use bull bucks you get some discount.
Decent selection, pretty good campus food.
Very very very bad
Food is sub standard and only good once in a blue moonn
The food there is trash as in no flavors, the service isnt bad but Im forced to stick to getting a plain sandwich since the only thing that taste good here is the sweets
Below par food. Everything cold.
Super fresh food from local farms
One of the better dining halls on campus, the staff are usually nice but some may be on their phones at time and may be rude at times, otherwise its a great place.
Good food at Great Price!!
The food could be better
The food is good, but some of the staff are a little rude.
Over priced, servers dont listen to what you ask for, expensive, better choices outside of US campus and for more reasonable prices.
On campus dining place.
Not sure if related to the expo but this place needs more cash registers. Your food will get cold before you pay.
Dont go for breakfast, but lunch and dinner are great
Its still dining hall food.
Decent food, fair choices, little expensive though.
Staff isnt nice or excited to work here
Excellent! You will enjoy it!
Work there great food
One of the Good University Dining Services
The food is mediocre, but I can walk out of my dorm and eat all the ice cream I want.
Amazing
Great place to eat !
