Went here after work for drinks and dinner and the food was absolutely amazing!! I I had the Greek shredder bowl and the veggies were so fresh. I was surprised at how seasoned the gyro meat was. Overall, I’d give it a 10/10. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is friendly. Will definitely be back:)
This place is super good.I got the capt crunch French toast, I was scared at first because I dont like all those crazy French toast flavors but this was good. French toast has a coasting of capt crunch dust all over it, nice touch. The HOME FRIES ARE BOMB. No question, arguably, the best home fries Ive ever had at a restaurant. I wanna go back and get a whole bowl of those bad boys. MAN they were good.Id come back here no question. Food was A1.
Great service and delicious food. All the employees I interacted with were kind and joyful. They seemed like they actually liked there jobs. I got a milk, breakfast burrito and some fruit. The breakfast burrito was delicious and filling. I would love to visit this place again and highly recommend it if you’ve never been.
The burgers are the best with their specialty sauce! So many restaurants in this area but had to come back for one of the best burger sauces ever!! Service was quick and considerate. Will definitely come back again.
I had a make your own Egg White fried egg plain bagel sandwich with Swiss cheese, and Avocado..it came with a side...I chose tots. My daughter ordered the Everything Bagel with 2 eggs over medium, jalapeño cheese, and Applewood smoke bacon...her side was the home fries. We did not care for the home fries. The sandwiches were good. Service was friendly but we did have to wait for napkins and the check...we were on our way to work...so did not like having to wait.
Enjoyed first time here the hater tater and the BLTA+ was awesome. They also have $5 mojitos all day yum!! Service was great (Thanks Jude) and the food came out within minutes
Ive just moved back to South Tampa after a year away and visited Daily Eats today for the first time since my return. Breakfast was amazing. My GF has Celiac Disease so we were heartened by the extensive gluten free options on the menu. She had the Monday Morning Breakfast Bowl (scrambled egg whites with red onions, turkey sausage and American cheese served over fresh spinach) with a short stack of the gluten-free pancakes. Both were delicious. I opted for the Carnivore omelet (smoked bacon, chopped turkey sausage, diced ham, cheddar cheese and scallions ... I subbed pork sausage for turkey sausage and left off the scallions). It was delicious. My side of grits would make any Southern kitchen proud. My GF had a pancake and part of her bowl to box up for tomorrow morning. The entire staff was friendly and our server, Jimmy, was absolutely outstanding. Cant wait for a return visit!!!
Love coming to Daily Eats for brunch! They also have an awesome happy hour with $2 mimosas. Everything here is delicious, especially the shredder bowls and the sweet potato fries. It’s a classic diner vibe which I love! They sometimes seem a bit understaffed/employees seem stressed but it has never negatively affected the service. Definitely a place that will become a staple in your Tampa restaurant rotation!
This place is a GEM! It’s small and quaint but gives me all the happy feels! From the friendly smile walking in, to the best server Jimmy we could ask for! The food, so fresh and to die for! Definitely get the captain crunch French toast, LIFE CHANGING!! Would highly recommend for breakfast!!
Extremely busy, but worth the wait. Friendly staff and a great breakfast.
Our food and waiter were great but there needs to be a system when it comes to waiting. they need to offer pagers or a texting option when it comes to waiting for a table. no one wants to sit outside in the hot sun for 40+ minutes waiting for their name to be called. not to mention the hostess for the morning shift had a terrible attitude when it came to customers asking how long the wait would be.
My daughter was living in South Tampa and took me here for breakfast. Their food was all very good. Each of us enjoyed all our breakfast food. It felt clean and safe and the staff was all very nice. The prices were reasonable for such big and tasty breakfast
Stopped in for lunch today to try some place new. I love that they offer breakfast all day. I started with the hummus which was delicious, then had the Goat omlete with tots. The omlete was good as were the tots, not outstanding but good. I will probably try something different next time. The acai bowl was also good and not overly sweet. Ill definitely come back as there were other things on the menu I want to try like the sweet potato hash!
Food was fantastic! Great atmosphere friendly staff! CapNCrunch Bowl was ridiculously good
My husband and I took our parents here while they were in town and we fell in love! The options are endless, we had such a great time even looking at the menu and talking over what we wanted to get. :) In the end, we were all very happy with our choices and loved that we could order breakfast all day! Its a popular place so plan for a wait!
Amazing food.. and excellent service.. thank you team members of this place for your time, service and food.. WILL BE BACK FOR MORE😍😍😍✊🏾✊🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾💯💯🔥🔥🙌🏾🙌🏾😎😎👍🏾👍🏾🤗🤗
We love this place! Never a bad meal or service! Prices are great! Just great all around!! :) Love the Benedicts and cheese grits!
We went two days in a row for breakfast. Super nice staff!!! And food is.so.good!!! The gluten free pancakes are the best Ive ever had! But there are so many more things I have to try!
Popular Breakfast/Lunch joint in Soho. The food is fresh and price is considered good in the Soho area. The indoor and outdoor seating are just OK, bathroom is single stall so need to wait like on a plane... The plus is there is parking, also free coffee while you wait, but dont expect much coffee taste since it is free.
First time here and my girl and I loved the food and the customer service. Daniela was an amazing server and Id definitely go back to try other things off the menu. Highly recommended!!
The food tasted good and was well prepared. The breakfast bowl I had was really good. There was no drink menu. Unfortunately the waiter forgot to input my wifes order, so she had to wait a little while for her food. There was no silverware until her food came out. Her Capn Crunch french toast barely had any Capn Crunch on it, you could barely see it on the sides. When we were done eating I probably should have said something, because there was a table next to us that was seated, ordered, ate their food, paid for it and left by the time we got our check. The food is good enough that I will be back.
I ordered for pick up for the first time. I heard great things about this place and knew it was good when I pulled up and there were so many people! Pickup was easy - guy behind the counter was very nice - food is amazing. Would definitely recommend this place** edit: I do wish they gave more chili for the tots! I was so disappointed with the little baby amount. Barely covered one tot!! And I thought that’s what they were known for !
The menu remains amazing and...For my favorite thing that left the menu, the kind staff was willing to make as a custom order! (Their Cheesy Mac Broccoli and Bacon bowl.)Staff was upbeat and cheerful with full smiles. A little crowded but thats just because of how enjoyable this place is.
Our first visit. Food was great. Many vegetarian options. Everything was fresh. Service was prompt and polite. Server, Rachel. knew the menu well and kept our coffee hot. Well be back when were in Tampa again.
Food was good but everything else about the place was average at best. Maybe my expectations had been set to high because it came highly recommended from a local friend.
We live in St.pete and went to Tampa for the day, we decided to stop for breakfast and picked Daily Eats . The food was very good, the staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely go again if I am in the area ..
We ate lunch here yesterday and received the best service, I wish I could give her props by name. She suggested great mimosas. The strawberry pineapple mimosa is delicious. They have the best fried pickles Ive ever had! Not over salted or soggy. Their sweet potato fries are super good. The chicken tenders were good too, as you can see I forgot to take a pic. Haha....I didnt care for the coleslaw. Just needed more dressing or to be marinated longer. My husband ate a pattymelt that he said was to die for. It looked yummy! Wed definitely come back and recommend. They were clean and very mindful of the restrictions from the pandemic.
Always my go to for breakfast after an airport run. Good food. Great service. Reasonable prices.
Great Service and Great food! I had the BYO Breakfast Bowl and my husband had the breakfast burrito and French toast. My Husband said it was the best french toast hed ever had! The bowl was savory and delicious, love the home fries. Our server was Kyle and he set the bar for fantastic service. If you want Great service and good food, Daily Eats is where its at. Will be back!
Our server Rachel was awesome! The food was great (breakfast burrito) and the vibe was great!
From out of state visiting. Food was amazing. The capn cluck was awesome. Service was good. The server even gave us a couple of recommendations of places near by to check out. Definitely recommend to anyone.
Customer service and food is good! Brunch wait times are over an hour long so don’t come here on a weekend if you’re expecting to be seated right away.
Was visiting the tampa are and met some friends here from sunday morning breakfast and was blown away. i had the Capn Cluck and fell in love with it. everyone at the table had great looking food. the service was top notch, our waitress was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. i want to come back and try some of the omelets because those looked really good too.
Great food and service. Weve been here twice and are new to the Tampa area, but this restaurant is definitely a keeper for many return visits. Thanks for a great meal. Suzy
Great eggs Benedict, great cheesy bacon grits, and awesome service!
Great service with delicious meals! Food was so fulfilling, mimosas were so yummy and my entire group was thoroughly satisfied.
Daily Eats is one of my favorite places to eat breakfast. The prices are decent, you get a good amount of food, the service is good and most importantly the food is DELICIOUS!! I have never had anything here that I did not enjoy. If youre a grits person you have to try the bacon cheddar grits. The cap n crunch French toast is another winner. Had a brunch with a friend here today and it was her first time. She left highly satisfied. Will continue to come back.
Very friendly atmosphere, and the selection of food was awesome. Something for everyone.
Warning: if you are not white, under the age of 25, or friends with Alyssa, don’t come here. Can’t speak to the food as we (a party of four) left before ordering. Hostess sat us by the bathroom despite an empty booth nearby, then Alyssa, our server, took fifteen minutes to get us water, three milkshakes, and one sweet tea, but sure could provide prompt service to the seven people (four in a booth ahead of us, three at a four top) who came in after us. It took another ten minutes to get our checks and pay. So, Alyssa and Daily Eats, the reason why the ‘Black people don’t tip’ stereotype persists is because Black people don’t tip for substandard service.
Amazing eats!!! jimmy is the best server ever, so attentive! mimosas go off! won’t go wrong dining here!
The food was great! The Erica Avocado Toast was A-Mazing! The Captain Crunch French Toast A+. Mango mimosa yummy! I would definitely return for brunch 😋
Great food amazing atmosphere...and my date wasnt too shabby either...LOL
They do not take reservations. We arrived with a party of 6, we were told it would be about a 20 minute wait. We waited an hour. They just dont have alot of seating for larger parties. However, once seated, the server was very quick and super friendly and the food was great! We will be back, in smaller numbers. Lol
Beware of this place! Disgusting food!! They definitely catfish people by posting those pictures of “their food” online that was obviously taken professionally as marketing bait. Do NOT be fooled by the pics of their food shown on google!!!! In real life it does not look like that and it is so nasty and low quality I lost my appetite 2 bites in. I’ve had better gas station food compared to this place lol. Just to give you an idea of their food standards, they use that velveeta type artificial tasting Mac n cheese. Their pancakes are rubbery, flavorless, and thin as paper. I should have known it was going to be bad as soon as I walked in and smelt the odor of the restaurant (it smells like a dirty public restroom). What a joke.
Enjoyed breakfast with my son. Staff were friendly and patient with us. We stayed a long time finishing our meal and ordering lunch. They have highchairs and a kids menu. Kids plates are big for my 11 month old but probably not for an older child. We will return when we’re in Tampa. Small parking lot but street parking is available.
A little trendy restaurant located on the corner of a bustling street. Almost has a LA vibe to it. Usually a wait but open seating at the bar. I ate breakfast, the Tijuana, which consisted of a bowl filled with tater tots, cheese, corn jalapenos and several other delicious combinations topped with eggs. I Loved it! Also, because I was hungover, I ordered their take on chicken and waffles. Which was fried chicken strips, scrambled eggs, fluffy French toast topped lightly with syrup. That dish wouldve been equally as good but the chicken strips were over cooked and dry but the French toast saved it. Over all I was disappointed with that dish but still edible. Four and half stars in my book when you compare cost to taste. In total I spent seventeen dollars before tip on two dishes($$). Definitely worth the wait and will be going back the next time Im in the city.
First time in my life I ever went to a restaurant ordered something and the server bring something completely different out because “its our new mimosa mix i thought you’d like this better”. That’s like going to apple asking for an iphone and them giving you a galaxy lol
Happy staff. Enjoyed every bite
One very good thing and one bad:Food and service was great. I think his name was Patt, green eyes, he was behind the bar, running food, doing expo and taking care of us. He was kind and attentive. I know it was stressful but he kept his character at all times. Very humble too.The bad one: The manager (I think her name is Alisa, petite girl), started running food, “tried” fixing her hair, didn’t wash her hands, put on gloves and kept going. Hair tie fell somewhere, her hair was down again, she touched it again -with- gloves on, flipped it back, didn’t wash or changed gloves and kept running food. Thank God she didn’t run my food. I was shocked. It seemed that she was more worried about the way she looked than actually being hygienic. All I could see was her hair all over the place. Let me remind you she is a manager, she should know this.Other than that everybody was very nice and welcoming but she messed up those 2 stars.
First time eating at Daily Eats and we were definitely satisfied. The bowls were great!
It was tasty, a bit in the saltier side, but good. They give you a good amount so the price is worth it. The staff is very friendly. Takes a while to get the food though.
Their food is absolutely amazing, probably some of the best Ive had especially at this price point. We got the tater haters and one of the egg sandwiches, all of it was amazing.
I don’t usually like scrambled eggs but these were fluffy and delicious. So much food I couldn’t finish and for an excellent price! Wait staff was phenomenal!
Amazing food and options. Everything is customizable with healthy options to suit any need. Must also try their famous captain crunch waffles. To. Die. For!
Im not so big in breakfast and all that jazz but this place has little of everything and if you are in a health journey this is the place to be
2nd time here and both experiences were very satisfying. Had the carnivore omelette added mushrooms with tots and their yummy tot sauce. Also it was 2pmish Sunday brunch so I had to have a $2 mimosa mango flavor. The wait was 45 mins but I didnt even mind cuz I knew it was worth it. But as soon as we were sat our server was attentive, wish I could remember her name, sorry dear, from the time we ordered to the moment the food hit the table was impressively fast. Thanks for being my new favorite place I get to go!
