Sweet Charlies Ice cream is a great spot to stop at if your in the area. The service was great, ice cream amazing, and variety of different toppings was wonderful. Very reasonable pricing would definitely stop by again.

I see all the reviews of beautiful rolls and how they really mastered their craft. My Ice cream was beautiful. However Sebastian totally butchered my girlfriends ice-cream. We ate it and where happy with the taste but she loves posting food reviews and taking pictures of our food. That was the main reason we came here.... for the unique experience of rolled ice-cream and for the visual uniqueness ofIt. This killed that. One of the 5 rolls of her ice cream was only being held up by the scrapings he put at the bottom. So it was like 4 1/2 rolls.... verses mine which had 6 perfect rolls. The ice cream should all be consistent and look as pretty as it tastes. Real shame.

I guess between my experience with a rolled icecream place previously and the $6.50 I spent I expected a but more. There staff was super friendly, very helpful, and attentive.But the chocolate icecream did not start as chocolate? It looked like vanilla then they used Hershey chocolate and added it. It wasnt very strong chocolate flavor. He did ask me if i wanted more syrup but i assumed it would be chocolate to begin with so i didnt add a bunch. The brownie tasted stale or tough i dont know. Not fresh. The ice cream was good. Very cold and m & ms always perfect! In all Id give it a 4 out of 5 and wouldnt go back.I appreciate the response. I didnt realize it was vanilla ice cream Ive never been to one that didnt start with a chocolate base. Ill know for next time! Thanks

Wonderful ice cream! Its really fun to watch them make it in front of you. The place is very clean and the environment is nice. They have interesting games to play while you are enjoying the ice cream or waiting for it to be made. They are also very sensitive to allergies! They cleaned the ice cream pan for me after telling them I have food allergies. This is one of my favorite ice cream store in Tampa, I just wish it near to us.

It was a fun experience our kids very much enjoyed it. My son was amazed with how they made the Ice cream. Found out they do parties, so we found our next Birthday place.

Fast friendly service. They have vegan options too! The manager on duty went above and beyond tonight. I wish I knew his name. I took my husband out for dinner on for his birthday and the experience was not good. Came to this place for desert and wow! I think my husband forgot about the terrible experience at dinner. This manager made my husbands birthday feel special. You know how it is when you have kids.. adults birthdays are pushed aside/not the same. I think this birthday will be one he wont forget. We were on our way to clear water beach, friend of mine wanted to try out rolled ice cream, tried their Donut ice cream! its almost like a donut sandwich with a ice cream roll in the middle, we all loved it!

Friendly service and the doughnut ice cream bun is certainly unique, but kind of ruins the fact that it is rolled ice cream when put together like that. Also felt sugar overload after eating lol, ice cream was good, but maybe dont get the doughnut

I ordered s’mores please in ice cream? I cant believe that I just did that lol and that too in a glazed donut! Glazed donut was fresh, soft and warm it was melting with ice cream, I can say it is the very best and unique ice cream had in a while!

Went here with a friend over the weekend, Ive never had rolled ice cream and I did not know about this place my friend is the one who told me about it so I had no expectations. The process is basically you choose your flavor of ice-cream off the menu, I choose Banana Nutella (I think thats what its called) they chop real banana and Nutella together and smash it on the cold plate with the cream and roll it into ice cream. The best part is the free toppings that you get to add. Theres a good selection of add-ons, i choose just chocolate chips. Bottom line is I dont think youll be disappointed if you gave this place a try. As far as I know they have multiple locations.

This place is delicious. Ty and I dropped in one day when we were close by. We shared one of the options. To watch them make it was really cool. For some reason this Ive cream seemed colder than any other ice cream. We added blueberries, strawberried, coconut, and shaved almonds at the end. Super delicious

This place has a pretty unique concept! We came on a Saturday night, and waited a long time. However, the wait was worth the experience. There were 8 flavor combinations to choose from, and we had a great time. Watching them make the ice cream in front of you was pretty cool! Split between two people, the $7 we paid was a good deal. (Toppings are free)

Theres tons of different variations and flavors to choose from. When theyre finally done, Its almost ashamed that you have to eat it because the presentation is so perfect. Its also one of the cleanest places Ive been in. Highly recommend.

I Just love this place and cant wait to go back. we went to try this place today in the afternoon as this was recommended by one of my friend and wanted to try it out since last two weeks. This is not our first time trying out rolled ice cream but I was surprised to see how they make their tall charlie and milk shakes. Hubby got the banana and Nutella milkshake, it tasted really fresh as they made the ice cream rolls and then blended to make it a shake right in front of us. I got the tall charlie with death by chocolate, donut was very fresh it was literally melting in my mouth. The ice cream tasted really fresh and it was very creamy. We will have to try their waffles next time.

Concept of this place is to make fresh ice cream with fresh ingredients and roll it up, we were amazed the way they mash up liquid ice cream with your choice of ingredients and freeze right in front of you and ice cream was well balanced with sweetness unlike other ice cream places. Employees working there were very friendly and made sure that we were happy with what we ordered. We will definitely be back.

I have never seen someone taking so many precautions for a dairy allergic customer! They not only went out of their way to open up a new machine to make our sons vegan ice cream, they even got toppings from back to avoid any contamination from topping station and all this was done while they were super busy! Love their customer service as well as their rolled ice cream!

Unique experience and friendly staff, we walked in after 3 mins of closing, thinking they close at 10PM, lady who was working there let us in, took our order and turned on machine for us! really appreciate the kind of service she gave, our ice cream tasted fresh!

My review is for suggestion purposes. I was so exited about trying this place out since I saw vegan as an option on the menu. I wish they had another vegan alternative for the base. Soy is one of the biggest allergens and I can’t have it. 😞 Suggestions: coconut milk, oat milk, cashew milk, almond milk.

This place is wonderful when it comes to customer service, food and ambience. If you want some fresh ice cream made right in front of you with fresh ingredients, then this is the place to eat at! They also have some games to play while you are enjoying your ice cream.

Whenever I go into Ross I get ice cream first and I love it here, the employees are very kind and work with a smile. I love this place so much. It puts cold stone to shame in my opinion.

Great ice cream, great concept.Note to owner: the kids you have working for you do a great job but I think your shop would do better if they had more help. Rolling that ice cream minute after minute looks exhausting. The kids did a great job but they just cant keep up with the customer demand and I feel alot of people walk away due to long wait times. ( we waited about an hour)

We visited sweet charlies last night . This was my first time trying the rolled ice cream, It was a great experience to watch them how they make the ice cream. I Tried their Namaste with ice cream base which is combination of fresh STRAWBERRY and CHEESE CAKE and it was delicious 😋 . kids had the Oreo and Dealth by chocolate flavors they loved it too. They also have non fat Yogurt and dairy free vegan (soy) base options. Cant wait to go back.

I love their Namastey, it is pretty good and love the way they roll is and it comes with unlimited toppings! It is like hibachi of ice cream. Cant wait to go back again this weekend. Went back again on 11/13, now they serve milk shakes. 7 dollars each youre pretty much paying for the novelty of the ice cream and experience.My husband ordered the donut ice cream sandwich and the guy never gave it go him. He put it in a cup instead. Hes not the type to speak up about stuff like that so he settled.The ice cream is hard because of the process they use to make it. Its not entirely enjoyable at first. Save your money there are cheaper ice cream places that roll theirs just like this. 14 dollars for 2 people and not getting what you ordered is ridiculous. We even drove here from near the bucs stadium the entire experience wasnt worth it.

Prices seem to be reasonable with the customization they allow you to do it with your ice cream flavors and moreover its made right in front of you after you order.Hubby wanted to try his own flavor with banana+ Peanut butter pretzels and daughter build her own flavor with strawberry + banana + oreo and I got the mango flavor from their menu . Everyone loved it and its really interesting to watch how the thick cream turned into ice cream rolls.we will be definitely coming back again and again.

Best Ice cream place in Tampa. Loved the Banana and Nutella Donut ice cream its called Tall charlie .I just want to keep it simple no toppings except the roasted marshmallow(my weakness) but they do have many toppings to choose from and they are included in the price. we will be back .

Tried death by chocolate with vegan base and It tasted real good and best part was we couldnt differentiate between ice cream and vegan, priced reasonably with unlimited toppings, we tried rolled ice cream in Ybor and it costed us over $10 for one ice cream and the place was not clean. We will definitely come back to try different flavors and the employees working were very friendly.

Really great fresh tasting ice cream. Came across this place accidentally and decided we just had to stop by and try it. Ive seen many videos on line of this place. It was past 10pm I believe they close at 11pm and it was crowded!!! We waited on line for about 10-15mins. Luckily we werent in a rush! If you are then go elsewhere as it take 3-4mins for ice cream to me made in front you. We tried the smores and Cookies n cream. We really enjoyed both but the winner for everyone was S’mores . What I loved most was that the ice cream werent overly sweet. They were light and not heavy filling. I look forward to coming back! If youve never had it I suggest you stop by wait it out its worth it!
