Definitely the place to go for glasses. Ive got myself a pair and I am loving them. All the staffs were very professional, and knew what they were doing. I was extremely impressed by Quinn. She was very helpful the whole time. She helped me to find the perfect frame for my face with great tips and advices. She got me in and out in no time. Very happy with their services.

I came in about a year ago to this location and had the worst experience. I came again because my insurance process is easy here and it is close to my home and this location has done a complete 180! I got the absolute best customer service from Quinn, she was super helpful in picking out frames and explaining all of my lens options to me, I could not be happier with my experience!

If your in the market for new eye ware I Highly recommend you visit the Lenscrafters @ International Mall Tampa. I recently purchased a pair of progressive glass from them, and they made the process seamless. First off Dr. Tran was thorough in her examination and explained everything to me in simple terms so that I can understand. Secondly Terri who assisted me with the purchase of my lenses was super helpful and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain in detail what my options were based on my insurance. To me that in itself is worth its weight in gold. Over all holistically the entire store helped me and made me feel very comfortable and safe during these trying times. The doctor here is great but the front desk they have very unprofessional staff. Not sure what was up with the two ladies but they were rude and careless. At wiregrass the staff is eager to help and wonderful. Very poor experience at the international mall location.

I personally want to thank the staff working today, 10/20/2021,at the Tampa international mall lens crafters. Steven the lab manager fixed my glasses and saved the day. I was told by my local Lens crafters, in a different city, that they couldn’t fix my glasses, there was no way to find the correct screw for my frame- which I purchased from Lens crafters a few years back, and also I was told I need to buy new glasses. Today the story was different! I appreciate Steven and the staff so much! They were able to solve my issue and fix my only pair of glasses in under 30 minutes! I will always drive an hour to come back to this store! Thanks again!

Not once was she trying to push something that I didnt want.Stephen from the lab also met with me. He had helped my husband with a pair of glasses that had prisms and did an excellent job! Had a pair of Gucci sunglasses & a cpl other designer sunglasses that needed repairs, I took them to the the store I bought them from to be fixed but they could not make the repairs & told me to go to LensCrafters. Well I did, the very friendly sales ppl told me that they could make the repairs & to come back in 30mins & they would have them ready. When I returned to the front counter to pick up my glasses the sales person gave them to me &I’m still standing there waiting to pay like how much do I owe when she informed me repairs are free!., but I insisted that I did not purchase the sunglasses there so there must be a repair charge.. No No it’s Free!! Score!! LensCrafters is Awesome!!!

Such a horrible experience. I loved my frames but they put in the wrong prescription TWICE. And the worst part was that they were trying to gaslight me and tell me that I was me and I had to get adjusted to them. My prescription didn’t change I was just getting new lenses. The ladies were so rude and literally threw their hands in the air when I said it was still wrong. And they literally were huffing around acting like I was being hard to work with.I haven’t been able to wear my new glasses yet after a month because they still give me a headache. I ended up going to Citrus Park to get them fixed and low and behold…the prescription was wrong!

I had a great experience at the International Mall store. I was having some challenges with my new prescription lenses. Steven from the lab sat down with me and asked me all kinds of questions on how Im seeing things though the glasses and he was able to resolve the issue for me. Also when I came into the store I was greeted by the staff and they were very helpful. I will definitely be coming back when its time to renew my prescription.

If I could give this negative stars I would. I spoke with Kathy on April 24, 2021 over the phone. I called to ask if a certain frame was in stock at this location for the following reason: I brought a total of 5 frames not purchased from a LensCrafters store to this location and some pairs to the Tyrone Mall location to have my prescription lenses put in them. I purchased the highest quality lenses offered for all 5 pairs. Needless to say it’s over a $1,000 worth. I also purchased the warranty on each of the lenses. Both locations explained if the lenses and the frames were to get damaged, I would have to supply my own frame again and pay $25 to have the lenses replaced. All sales associates I worked with shared it was a good decision to pay for the warranty on all the lenses since they were so expensive. Well according to Kathy I can’t get my lenses replaced with my warranty unless I have another pair of the exact same frames to have the lenses put it. The company I ordered the frames from does not have them available. So I spent hundreds on a warranty for each pair of glasses that I’ll never be able to use. They shouldn’t sell a warranty to people unless they are buying the complete pair at LensCrafters. But the BIGGER issue is how disgustingly rude, arrogant, demeaning and odious the customer service was from Kathy. She had the nerve to tell me to hold on or go call the Tyrone location because a customer needed help in the store and apparently I’m not a real customer because I’m on the phone instead of standing in the store; meanwhile, I’ve spent thousands in the last 4 months. I love LensCrafters; however, Kathy was so rude I’m going to have to call before I go to the store to ensure she’s not there on the day I need to come in because I don’t want to be treated badly by her and I surely don’t want to work with her in any capacity. Kathy needs to go sit down and humble herself and realize the only reason she has a job is because of customers like me who CHOOSE to shop at LensCrafters. I already called Corporate to get the form to fill out about my experience. I would like the cost of the warranty on all 5 glasses refunded to me since I won’t be able to ever use it.

Picked up both pairs of glasses. Qwen is fantastic. Both ladies are but Qwen is who I spent the time with. She helped me chose the correct pair of glasses, unlike a different company that will not be named, she explained lots of things to someone who is essentially new to glasses, even though Ive worn them before, for a very short time.Qwen explained that its better to have larger lenses for my particular prescription.Dr: tri-focalsMe: 😳PS: they did get my phone number wrong though so the glasses were there waiting for a couple days before I wondered if something was wrong and called to find out if they were available to be picked up.

Employees gave great service except for Covid precautions. Customers came in without masks and nothing was done about it. Plus the desk I was asked to sit at to be fitted for my new glasses was not cleaned off after the last customer. I had to ask for it to be done. That made me want to leave ASAP. Covid is still a problem and vaccines are not 100%,, and people are still dying. We are far from herd immunity.

I had an eye exam scheduled and was notified about a form which needed to be completed. Searching through my email I couldnt find it so I arrived at my appointment on time expecting to fill out the form once I arrived. Instead I had to text a number posted at the entrance going back and forth via text msg on locating this form in my email for close to an hour.I texted the number nevermind about the appointment because I was leaving, then they replied the form maybe given to me to complete. This option should have been offered from the start Instead of texting back and forth for close to an hour.I rescheduled an appointment with Lens Crafters in Brandon Mall and they were efficient providing the form upon arrival and getting their customers in and out.

They did not want to measure my pupilary distance. After I specifically informed both the Optician Dr Thu Nguyen, and the glasses sales rep Kathy, that I was going to orler online I was embarrassed after not being able to pay $675 and $700 for their glasses/frames and lenses. It only made sense to be upfront and that is what I did but they waited for a payment first. If I had known or been informed that neither one would take my measurements I would of not spent money there. I like people to be upfront and not embarrass while otbers were hearing my situation.

From the time we walked in, the women in the store were cold and not offering service at all. Then along came Randy! He was welcoming, cute, very sweet pleasant and very helpful.Randy helped navigate my husband through 25 or more frames until we settled on the fit and look of Versace frames.Those women should be fired and Randy put in a position to hire all new sales people.Courtesy and an eagerness to help are a necessity for any sales job. Some people are just not cut out for this work, so cut them out.

Went there to return my sunglasses or if they can change the prescription since I love the glasses but the Lady manager told me to go back for an appointment to re check my eyes. A week later I went back, waited 45 minutes then was told that I need to wear my sunglasses 4 hes a day for my eyes to get used to them and they did not even check my eyes. Very disappointed that I went 2 times but no real resolution. I felt like I was at a car dealership with their sales tactics.

Not sure about all the negative reviews. Theres a wait, but not sure what eye place doesnt have some kind of wait anyways. I dont like when the sales associates hover while I browse and they did not hover which I loved. They just provided trays for used glasses and let me try on as much as I wanted even though they were about to close. When i did have questions, she answered me honestly. Met Dr Claffie and just loved loved her. I had been going to Warby Parker for the past 2 years and when my glasses were tested by the optician, she said that Warby had given me weaker scripts, which explains a lot.Bottom line: loved them. Did what they were supposed to do. Professional. Clean. Attentive when needed.

International Plaza Lenscrafters blew me away. Their store manager, Kathy Winter, was absolutely amazing!! She was so kind, patient, informative, and most importantly she made me feel SAFE. I was a bit weary to go to an eye examination and purchase new glasses amid the COVID-19 chaos, but she went above and beyond to assure me and prove to me that I was safe inside her store. I will definitely be back for my next pair of glasses and I have already referred two more of my family members to her store, as well!! Dr Claffie and her associates were also immaculate- they took their time, they were thorough, and so so kind. I walked out a very satisfied customer- feeling and definitely looking great in my new Valentino frames!!

Just remember I had a displeasure at this place 2 years ago so have to write a review. Had to wait 1 hour with appointment; was charged for extra after insurance ( which is actually fine ) but when I asked for receipt, the staff said they dont have one (??); Came to pick up my contact lenses and they said they did not have a bag ( an expensive store in the big mall can not afford to give customer bags? or was my purchase not worth enough for a small bag? ).Never again.

Wonderful customer service. I came in on weeknight around 4:30 with very little time to spare. The associate helped me pick out the best glasses for me and said she would work on everything until I could come back later in the evening and finish every thing up. I came back around 7 pm and worked with an additional associate who was very kind and helped me complete the purchase of my glasses. My glasses were ready the next day by 10 am. The staff is very professional and courteous and will definitely be back to this location again.

INCOMPLETE RX!!! This Dr office does not take the PD number (pupillary distance) because they say that LensCrafters are the ones that do it when you choose the glasses with them. I got a quote with LensCrafters for over $200 for something I can get online for $90 so I asked them for the PD number and they will not provide me with it because they said that they dont have it and because I never bought glasses from them before. So both places work together to trap you to buy from them. The PD number can be obtained with a ruler and there are instructions online BUT who is to say that the way I measure is 100% correct???There are 3 states in USA that the law requires these doctors to write the PD number on the RX but my state is not one of them. I paid a copay and my insurance paid the rest for the visit and they provided me with an incomplete RX that prevents me from shopping online. NICE SCAM!

Okay, I bought the best glasses you can get! I wanted for the first time in my life!With that I bought extended insurance for an extra pair of lenses for $50.00 as I need them just in case I scratch the ones I have.Seemed like a smart thing to do since I do lawn Service for a living.So my glasses are scratched up enough to where I needed to call and get those $50 lenses now.But to my surprise they told me since it’s over the year mark I can’t get my lenses!!!What, you mean you stole my money and I am out of money well spent and have scratched glasses and you won’t either refund me the extra money I forked over or replace them as agreed!She kept saying I’m over my period and I said no you stole my hard earned money! There is no shaded area it’s black or white ! So I do not recommend this LensCrafters. I will not be going there again. I paid a lot of money and I am not well off. Tl;Dr - they messed up my prescription sunglass order, and my contacts took over a month to arrive because of a hurricane and they ordered the wrong colorInitially, I thought my visit was fine. The optician (Josh?) was very nice and helpful, and the doctor was fine. HOWEVER I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses, and when they came in, they were in the wrong color frames. When I pointed this out, the associate who was helping me was able to swap them out with the correct color from the display case, but didnt have the courtesy to clean her super smudgy fingerprints off the lenses before giving them back to me. So, this issue was mostly resolved, but now I guess I have display floor frames when I paid for new.I also ordered two boxes of contact lenses from the associated Dr.s office, one clear and one colored. When I called to check on the lens order, FROM OVER A MONTH AGO on 8/23, supposedly delayed by Hurricane Irma, which didnt hit Florida until 9/9, I was told that they ordered green contacts, when I had specifically said I wanted blue. So now they have to re-order the lenses, and they are delayed AGAIN. I shouldve just taken my contact prescription and ordered online, and then I wouldve gotten the RIGHT lenses ON TIME. (Edit: picked up contacts, with correct color, on 9/29)So in conclusion, I will not be giving LensCrafters my business anymore.

I should have read the reviews before coming in. The doctor was nice but the staff is terrible. They wouldn’t help explain anything, we’re not professional or nice and are so slow. They dilated my eyes then made me wait another 45 minutes to see me again. Drive somewhere further away and save yourself the time and hassle.

I had a Noon appointment. Easy intake process, with a tech in 3-5 minutes for preliminary tests, with a Dr. Wright within another 3 minutes after. Full eye exam and updated prescription within 30 minutes. That’s the end of the good!Just try to get your records, most importantly, what’s called your PD. That is the important aspect of you being able to order glasses online. They purposely avoid giving you an answer. What they fail to realize is that is a clear violation of a statute called eCFR, section 456. This is LensCrafters attempt to make you buy their lenses.Avoid this business like the plague!!!

The worst experience Ive ever had purchasing glasses. I went to the Lenscrafters in the International Mall, Tampa, FL on 24 Aug 2019. The staff was very unprofessional and it took over 3.5 hours in the store. It is now 9 Sept and after three trips back to the store and three phone calls I still dont have my glasses. They promised me the glasses in 10 Days. When I went in to the store yesterday (8 Sept) they told me my order was jinxed. I didnt know that was a business term when customers are paying a premium. They said the first order came in with two right eyes and the second order didnt arrive when it was scheduled. They still cant tell me when my glasses will come in. That is not jinxed, it is poor customer service. Maybe Lenscrafters has gotten to big and lost touch with their customers. Would not recommend Lenscrafters to anyone. Still waiting in Tampa!!!!

Dr. Claffies office is horrible. I have been going for about 3 years just out of convenience due to it being so close to my job and I can go at lunch. They havent been able to get my prescription correct to date! I still cant read due to blurriness and cant see anything at night despite their new updated and better equipment. Im not going back there again.

I went to the Lenscrafters in the international mall location a few days ago and had a great experience. I was quickly greeted at the door with a smile and was then walked to the doctors waiting area for my eye examination appointment. The doctor was very kind, explained everything in detail and also addressed all of my concerns. At no point was I rushed out or pressured for anything. When looking at frames and making my purchase the young lady who helped me took great care putting me into maybe a dozen frames while helping me pick what frame worked best for me. Again there was no pressure sales or rushing me through the process. They made sure to explain in detail all my options, what my insurance would cover and what would be out of pocket. I also called my insurance company prior to going to the center so that I would already be prepared for costs. A couple things to keep in mind is that the doctors office and Lenscrafters are two independent businesses working together. So a bad experience in one should not reflect against the other. Most companies offer vision insurance at a ridiculously low monthly cost which I highly recommend taking advantage of. My out of pocket expense for full exam, frame, best lenses and all coatings was only $69 dollars. Without the insurance would have been over $800.

Would not recommend.Customer sale rep (a lady and a weird mustache guy) caused me migraine. They kept whispering to each other all the time and wouldnt let me go without buying second glasses.First they told me that they checked my insurance and my first frame+lense is free and I just have to pay 40% of second pair. When I agreed to buy second pair (after refusing for like 100 times), they said (again after whispering among themselves) that it was a mistake and I have to pay for even the first pair.Felt like I was being scammed.

I give 4 stars because of Stefani, the employee who worked with me on selecting and fitting my glasses. She was professional, polite, and funny. She was patient as I dealt with several urgent phone calls from work and made me feel comfortable. Had It not been for her this could have been a 3 star or possibly 2 star experience based on the exam. The waiting room was tiny, crammed, and uncomfortably hot. It had the feel of the free clinic instead of the place where I and my insurance provider were about to drop $2000 on 2 pairs of glasses.

My glasses broke. So, I need glasses immediately. Not like I can wait a week for them to come back from the lab. This place was the ONLY place that could get me glasses right away... Please correct me if Im wrong. But most places I talked to sent the frames off to a lab and you get them back whenever. Whenever doesnt work for me. These guys could make them on site. On my lunch break I went to a nearby optometrist and got a new prescription. After work I showed up at Lens Crafters picked out a pair of frames and they had them ready in under 2 hours. Emanuel was my assistant. He explained everything. I just wanted the cheapest glasses as fast as possible. He got it... and he got it done. My glasses are the best Ive ever had. Dr. Claffie is terrific but the staff & wait times despite appointments leave little to be desired. This is the 2nd time there has been a major glitch with my appointment & insurance. Both times took numerous holds, phone calls & call backs to resolve. One time I was told they don’t take my insurance, really since when? My appt was cancelled only to receive an callback apologizing for the error, a reschedule etc. Today after I rushed home, showered & was leaving for my appointment, after an ordeal and many holds to schedule the appointment I was once again told that my insurance had not been verified and ineligible for an eye exam at this time. Shouldnt this have been resolved when making the appointment (what else were the lengthy holds for?)? And it’s after insurance business hours on a holiday weekend-no way to follow up myself. Although the Dr. is wonderful-too many hiccups with the office, Oh and the young lady on the phone became short tempered & doesn’t seem to understand why I might be upset. Wrong reaction! Just the icing on the cake.

Zero stars if I could give the rating. We have had over two weeks of runaround from the Managers Brad and Tom and store manager Emanuel on the refund of a pair of glasses. First the system was down and couldnt process the return to the credit card so they said to leave the glasses and they would process the next day and send a receipt. The next day came no receipt no refund, then they said it would take up to 5 days, 5 days later no refund or receipt, them they said they could now only process on a debit card, we gave this information and waited another two days - no refund or receipt. Now they said a check from corporate was sent out - still no receipt or refund. Two weeks later and no refund!! We have now escalated to corporate and guess what still in limbo. Thabks for wasting a solid 3+ hours of my time to get a refund of the equivalent to my time, and still no refund! Ill blog about this on every social site. Never LensCrafters again. In addition to the terrible service, the prices are now equal to or higher than literally every other place you can buy glasses.

The eye exam was quick and easy but the glasses providers were terrible. They said itd take a few days for the lenses because the machine was broken, thats fine. I called three days later after not hearing from them and they told me theyd be ready the next day at any time. I showed up after work an hour before they close and my pair have not even started being worked on. I came the next day after and they were ready but one of the lenses were severely augmented to where you could see the layers of the lens, as if the maker didnt even look at them after they were made. Im fairly certain that lens doesnt even have the right prescription either. I brought them back in and they said theyd be ready the same day (well see...) and although they apologized up and down, they never once offered a partial refund or discount or free accessory which should have been expected from them by this point. Needless to say, last pair Ill but from here ever again.UPDATE: never received a call like they said I would get telling me wen they were ready. Called them an hour before they closed to find out theyve been ready (well see....)UPDATE 2: the augmentation could no longer be seen on the lens but looking through the glasses I could still see the extreme defect in the prescription on the same side of the lens. The technician came out and briefly looked them over and said there was nothing wrong and that he didnt know what else to tell me even after I described the defects with the machine I was told about. The head technician responded by saying I was told about a fault in the machine and later explained I should just get used to itDemanded a refund after that.

I showed up 3 minutes late to my appointment, stood waiting for the rep to speak with me, and after 15 minutes I was told the doctor would no longer be able to see me because she was going to lunch. I found another office to see me at this time (since I had taken off from work) and this office would not even provide me with my prior visit prescription details. I highly recommend visiting a different doctor. During past visits this location always ran late. This experience is inexcusable.

You will pay premium prices for the slowest, disinterested, dim service. Staff are going through the motions to a degree which offends common sense. They are either untrained in Customer Service or else the hiring department doesnt screen candidates well. You will never get a straight answer and forget about anything ever being delivered close to their shipping estimates. I only hope online lens purchasing advances to the stage when outlets like this one are eliminated and price gouging ends. Plastic frames and plastic lenses for $500 alongside poor service? Ridiculous!

I went here for years before realizing how much I was getting ripped off. This place is way overpriced and they upsell everything. Every single pair of glasses or sunglasses I spent extra money to have glare coated etc and the coating PEELS OFF rendering the lenses an ugly mess, and it doesnt take long to start peeling!!! When I pay $600 for a pair of glasses I expect them to last longer than 12 months!!! I went in to ask them to replace the lenses that were peeling and got terrible customer service. Even the tint of sunglasses peels off similar to what you see on car windows sometimes. This place is the WORST place to get prescription glasses/sunglasses!!!

Unreliable and horrible customer service. Visited this store bought and ordered contact lense to be picked up went there 3 times (drove 90 miles total) to find out they have it locked. Called them prior the scheduled pick up but they failed to put it out. I was beyond frustrated so i demanded a refund. What a waste of my time and effort!

Do not go to this place. They have the worst customers service I have ever dealt with. Not only was I stuck wearing the wrong prescription in my eyes. I was stuck wearing the same 2 week contacts for 5 weeks. They simply said they forgot to place my order.Never in my entire life of wearing contacts have I experienced this.Please dont waste your time at this place. Save your time and frustration from dealing with people that simply dont care.After explaining my frustration they couldnt even waive an overnight fee. The WORST LensCrafters I’ve ever gone to. Emmanuel- the manager lacks any professionalism and manners. Both he and the other employees speak to you as though you know nothing. One of the ladies we spoke to seemed scared by him and kept looking over her shoulder while we asked questions. I’m shocked that this store is still in business. If I could give no stars I would.

The most incompetent vision center I have seen. Two months later, $1200.00, and I still dont have a finished pair of glasses. Lies from the manager. Constant run around from the staff. Nonchalant attitudes regarding their own mistakes. Wrong insurance input. Wrong frame rang up. 3 sets of lenses, and still defects. NEVER AGAIN......stay away from this store, or you will be all kinds of disappointed.

Unprofessional. Needed to find a doctor closer to home for my daughter. When the new doctors office called to verify my daughters last contact lens prescription, they provided inaccurate information. Rather than actually take the time to check her record, apparently they asked the new doctor what her new prescription was and said it was the same - it hadnt changed. We were pretty sure this wasnt true and, sure enough when we got home we found the boxes from her last contact lens order and the previous prescription wasnt quite as strong. Both eyes had changed. Very disappointed with this lack of professionalism.
