Went in because my computer kept freezing on me. They were able to take a look on the spot (on a Friday late afternoon) and had my computer back up and running in roughly 15 minutes. The staff was friendly and polite. The cost was totally fair and I probably would have paid much more honestly to not have the problem anymore. Highly recommend! Great job Tampa Computer Doctors.

Raymond is awesome. My new laptop would rarely turn on. He diagnosed it and had it repaired within 15 minutes and was extremely reasonable with the price. Would recommend to everyone.

I came in there this morning right after spilling half a liter of water on my laptop. Hope levels were pretty low. Anthony gave me a fair assessment, told me the price upfront, and miraculously had my baby up an running by the end of the day. He also cleaned the interior while drying out the hardware, which he didn’t have to do. I literally could not have been more satisfied. Thanks again Anthony.

After calling the company and discussing my problem, their procedures, and the cost for diagnosing the device, I took a HP 9025 printer in for repair...paper consistently jamming in the carrier assembly area. Anthony, who Id spoken with on the phone, also took care of me at the shop. Throughout the process, he was professional and upright. He repaired the printer with ease and it was available for pick up the next day. Also, there were no additional charges levied upon pickup.In all, my experience was stellar and my printer has been working flawlessly since the repair...two days.

Thankfully, they saved all my data from old hard drive and upgraded to solid state. They were the only ones that would talk to me on the phone to clarify what to do before bringing it in. I could have had service at my home or within a couple miles, but I drove 12 miles to and from because of good communication. Also, the PC works way faster and no problems in 4 months.

10x better than AppleAmazing experience! My MacBook stopped working out of nowhere and all apple providers were not available for a week and quoted me ridiculous prices. I brought my laptop here and got it fixed and working perfectly in the same day for a reasonable price. Customer service was great and I will definitely be coming back if I have future issues.

Disappointed!!! When I called originally and gave my printer information, they say they work with the printer, 4 months after, they didnt knew how to work our printer, didnt call for updates, I have to call every week to check the status of my printer. At the end when I pick up my printer, the printer didnt even turn on, when originally it turn on and it only had a code showing the problem.

Took my sons gaming computer to two other supposed computer repair places and they caused more problems including destroying the motherboard, tampa computer doctors diagnosed and repaired problem in a short period of time and at a reasonable price,

Just went in to have three keys on my laptop keyboard cleaned out. Walked in and was told that the whole machine would have to be disassembled in order to do that. I said I’m pretty sure you can just pop the keys off. After a quick google search... my theory was confirmed. First two keys were popped off and cleaned in 10 minutes. Third key comes off and then the technician spends about 15 minutes trying to put the key back on. He tells me that he’s having a hard time putting it back on. Eventually he successfully returns the key to its spot. I was then charged $50 even though half of the time spent working on my device was correcting an error. I brought this up to the employee and he said he only charged me for when he was working. He didn’t respond when I brought up his mistake. Accidents happen, but please don’t charge me $25 extra because of them.

I recently contacted and used the services of Tampa Computer Doctors. They came highly recommended to me by a computer expert who suggested I utilize them for my computer issue. Through all phases they were highly professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I have dealt with several computer repair businesses in the past, Tampa Computer Doctors were head and shoulders above all previous experiences. Simply no comparison. Both Jacob and Anthony were exceedingly helpful. The majority of my interaction was with Anthony. He not only COMPLETELY rectified my computer issue, but did it very expeditiously and well under my expected cost. I cannot recommend this business high enough!Great service, FAST, knowledgeable, competent. And having had the opportunity to observe them interacting with a variety of customers, they are always courteous to their customers- no matter the level of computer expertise. Take your business there!BTW- I went during the COVID outbreak protocol, and in NO instance did I see any problems with their customer protection policies as previously listed in other reviews. Masks were available on the counter, all employees utilized CDC suggested mitigation protocol.

They were very helpful with the fact I didn’t know much about laptops. They work time efficiently. If I ever have any problems again or know any one who does I will definitely recommend them.

Tampa Computer Doctors has been my go-to computer store ever since I moved to the south Tampa area. They have always been able to take care of my emergency issues quickly and professionally. A recent example would be the bad storm that rolled through the area the afternoon of 9/9/20. A nearby lightning strike during my PCs powering down had zapped my network adapter. This being a critical issue since I was working from home and rely on internet access, I called TCD and Anthony got back to me within the hour. I explained my situation and he told me to bring in the unit the following morning at 9:30 AM when they opened. Thanks to his help, I was able to be up and running that evening. Great Service, chris is friendly and knowledgeable. Gives good advice and suggestions. Had a new hard drive put in my laptop and my wifes laptop freshened up.Although he couldnt clone my drive! And lost all my work... for now, my hard drive was just old and if he kept trying it would have gone totally bad and not spin no more. He suggested a place that could do it. But its pricey. $50 for a factory hard reset on my iphone, are you kidding me ? What a rip off of a place. When he said the price I just stood up and left. All he literally needs to do is plug my phone on a Mac. Oh, and none of the employees were wearing masks. Terrible.

Overall great service. The techs are knowledgeable right in the door and have great people skills. I have been using them for 3+ years and they have always appropriately fixed my computers (sometimes without charging for a small issue). They make great suggestions such as its time to replace the hard drive. The only negative comment I would bring up is the service is beginning to get a bit pricey. When I first started going, the prices were a bit more reasonable.

My second visit today to this shop. Service is exceptional in every way. My life and business run from my laptop and when it isn’t working - well, it’s a huge pain! Thank you so much for the fix.

1) We are still under a mask mandate for Hillsborough County and the woman working today was not wearing a mask - even though they are selling them! Made me very uncomfortable.2) Do not go to them for help with Mac Computers. Not remotely knowledgeable. Would respect them much more if theyd just say that!

They just completed my repair I i picked it up, they even helped me get a new email setup with google to help me start applying for jobs. I told them i needed the laptop back right away to start job hunting and they fixed it the same day for me. im very happy with how they genuinely seem to care.

This company demonstrates little regard for their customer’s ability to fully restore his/her computer to a user-friendly condition after they perform their service. They are more concerned with the time required to remediate problems that they created than actually fixing those problems.I brought my computer to them to replace a hard drive which they installed 2.5 years ago. After the replacement, my Microsoft Office 365 software was missing and only an Office 2007 version remained on the new hard drive and it was not set up. Their response was that since I did not supply them with the ID and password for Office 365, they just reverted to the old Office version on the computer. They made no attempt to contact me to obtain this information. Though the owner did apologize for the problem, he then took issue with the time required for remote assistance to reinstall Office 365 and set up its Outlook module. Neither he nor his associate to whom he passed this task off completed this assistance.While replacing the hard drive, one of the technicians suggested that he upgrade the operating system from Windows 7 to 10 assuring me that the transition is practically seamless. I subsequently discover that Windows 10 has home network issues.I am no longer able to access my other PC in my home and they are not willing to help rectify the problem without charging for additional time.Had they taken the initiative to call me for the access information to Office 365 or warned me about Windows 10 networking issues, these time-consuming, frustrating issues could have been avoided. Unfortunately, their concern lies more with the opportunity cost of fixing problems which resulted from their lack of thoroughness than with actually sufficiently resolving those issues for the customer.

I dropped my business Mac off on a Tuesday with instructions about crashing after the latest update. I had to call several times over the course of the week to get a status update. After 8 days nothing was fixed. Picked it up, going elsewhere!

Very disappointing. I came to get my laptop charger port replaced. The tech seemed very inexperienced in dissembling the laptop. I had to go back 2 times for repair. First issue, when the tech returned the laptop back to me, I could tell immediately that it wasnt assembled back together properly- they couldnt fix it, so they just TAPED IT!!! Second issue- My audio speakers werent working after the repair. All because the tech needs more study in the process of dissembling and assembling a laptop PROPERLY. The owner/manager was understanding though, he refunded my money back without my asking because he saw how much time Ive wasted driving back and forth to only receive more problems. Please train your employees properly! ***Edited Response- I did verify before writing this review to make sure Im not spreading lies because Im not an idiot. This is the computer repair store that I went to in that plaza right at the intersection of Gandy and Westshore,with Walgreens right across. That is the same owner under Your Google Business photos that did give me the refund and one of those Shop Small Business bags. YES A REFUND!***

Offer cheap deals on computer repairs

We were in the area from out of town. Lap top had been dropped about a foot and when turned on the back lit keyboard lit up but the screen remained black. Brought it here and was told it was graphics card or motherboard, though now I am sure they really never diagnosed the issue. The plan was to buy a used identical lap top and swap the hard drives from our lap top into the used lap top. Well there were issues getting the used lap top while we were still in town. Since we were leaving and the computer wasnt ready when originally told it would be, we cancelled the $700 repair. SO GLAD we did. We returned home and took it to our local computer repair people, the problem turned out to be that the screen had unplugged internally. Obviously we are not very impressed.

I just picked up my laptop which they fixed saving all my application papers i have written for college i thought was lost. They also helped me setup a new gmail to use for my applications to college. im very happy with the service & the price. They really treat you like they appreciate you & not just an inconvenience they have to deal with.

I brought my computer to the computer doctors and they fixed it the next day. the previous place i brought it too had accidentally formatted the data. i was furious with them thinking all my stuff was gone until i called the computer doctors and they said they could recover it. the next day i got my computer back with all the deleted data back on it and the repair completed. suffice it to say i will not take it anywhere else for anything.since the last repair i have also had them fix my phone and tablet. both repairs were done in a few hours and everything is working great. i have referred many friends to the doctors as a good repair place is hard to find.

I just picked up my repair which i dropped off at 8:15am this morning with the owner who let me in despite the store not opening until 9:30 as he gets there early to help his business clients. the price was great & you cannot beat the speed.

I have never been a customer of this business but as I was looking around for someone to possibly assist me with cannon printers I noticed a very unique them about this company. They address every negative review. I am Technology instructor and IT service technician for a series of charter schools in Orlando, so you can imagine my family ask me for every IT service they need. Since commute everyday I am unable to address all their needs. People will have what may seem to be bad experiences but it says a lot that a service company will respond and address every negative review in defense of their company. I spend a lot of time dealing with people who want it done now so I can testify to the fact that sometimes it is impatience more than bad service. I would send my people there because they stand by their service.

They fixed my gaming computer up as promised. repair was completed within a day and the price was half of what geek squad is. the staff was professional & were happy to answer questions for me.i did need help installing an update for my game they did not charge me as it took less than 5 minutes to complete remotely.

BEWARE,,, THEY WILL TELL YOU TO FIX THINGS THAT ARE NOT BROKE.Took my computer to 2 other shops for different quotes, and each one said they could fix the problem without switching out my hard drive and other hardware. These guys are lairs.

Took my Mac in there to remove a simple browser hijack. Got machine home, virus still on machine, redirected to Yahoo whenever searching. Took machine back, tech looked at it, punched a few keys, said all was well. Paid $75 cash to him. Took machine home again, still all the same problems, appears they did nothing to fix it. Called them and let them know I wanted a refund, got the runaround by some idiot who refused a refund. Advised said clown they had two shots at what should have been a fairly simple fix, and to just refund my money. Guy kept refusing. Will now reformat machine myself, should have done that to begin with. Moral of story: buyer beware, these guys dont/wont stand behind their work, use weasel tactics to avoid issuing a refund. Avoid this place at all costs.No, Yahoo is not a virus. Never said it was. I did not sign off that machine was good upon leaving your store. It was when I got the machine home and began to use it that this same malware, Tapuhelp, showed up and redirected me to the Yahoo search engine instead of Google. Same thing the second time, tech made google the default search engine, but when using Firefox, was again redirected to the Tapuhelp web page. So, two attempts, you failed at both. Am I supposed to bring the machine back in ten or fifteen times until you finally figure out how to fix it? My time is too valuable for that. Any reputable business would have issued me a refund, but with you guys, keeping the money was obviously the most important thing. Hell, were not talking about removing a stubborn root kit or exotic trojan here, just a simple PUP, yet you cant even handle that. Do you actually know what a browser hijack is and what it does, or a PUP?? Id give you negative two stars if I had the option. Bad choice on my part taking my machine to you guys. Thanks again for nothing.

Brought my computer in and they got it fixed the same day. later i met with the owner about getting them to take care of my office computers and we are very happy with everything. they are very thorough and do an excellent job of making sure even the little things are done correctly.i am a big fan of Computer doctors and will not bring my computers anywhere else after experiencing how they do repairs and treat people. im trying out thier automated update software and will review that later after ive used it more.

Had a hard drive sector go bad on my Asus laptop (running Win 7) - freezing the system in the boot sequence w/no way to get in to run diags. The TCD guys replaced the HDD, reloaded the OS and even pulled the keys to recover my software applications (since the discs are residing in a storage room in California). After that, they transferred what data they could access off of the bad drive and moved it to the new one. Thankfully, Ive got a cloud back-up service. But TCD saved me a lot of time by handling the data recovery in-house.Very professional, knowledgeable crew that I would trust again should future troubles arise.

I went to another shop down the street from them on dale mabry for years. i have to say that now that i have been to the computer doctors its hard not to go write the other place a bad review. in fact the only reason i did not is when i spoke to Jacob he said, every shop has its good and bad days, they may have been just having a bad day. I have to say another shop not agreeing with me to seal the deal is pretty amazing.So i left my laptop and tablet with the computer doctors and the tablet was fixed that day and the laptop was fixed the following day. i used to have to wait a minimum of a week to get my stuff back. now they did forget to put a shortcut i requested back on my desktop but i called them and they remoted in and did it for me free of charge which again im used to be charged for everything.i am extremely happy with the computer doctors and will never go anywhere else. as far as the other place make sure you say thank you to Jacob. to all my friends dont risk it go to computer doctors. they are not perfect but absolutely put the customer first, are very polite, the store is bright and clean and the prices are less than the other place and geek squad by alot.

The first time I had worked with these guys was back in 2007. I was walked through each computer component and why and how Id would benefit me back then.These guys offer A+ Quality service, nothing less! I had brought in my desktop replacement laptop built in early 2011. The concentration courses Im required to take at the University of Phoenix, I have Adobe Photoshop CC 14, Dreamweaver CC 14, and Edge CC 14 running at the same time. I also will have multiple browsers open, such as; Chrome, Firefox, Oprea, and Internet Explorer 11 which will have multiple tabs open. The point is, the 8 gigs of RAM that came with the laptop wasnt enough to get what I need done.I paid these guys a visit about adding more RAM in my laptop. The employees took the time to explain to me why and how it could improve my system. These guys answered any questions I had and gave me honest feedback, plus they did not try to sway me to something else that I did not need.

These guys cracked the screen and said that it was before them....About your answer, then I returned after 5 min., it was very short period…You now my phone number, but I dont receive any calls about my problem…I talked with man with black bird (I thought that owner)
