Williams-Sonoma at International Plaza and Bay Street in Tampa is a great place to shop for all things kitchen and cooking items. I really like the quality of items that they have here for relatively good values. The staff here is very welcoming and takes time to make sure that you have all of the assistance that you need.

Customer service was awesome. That young lady was very, very attentive. We actually chatted a bit about food and movies.

I came in here with my 2.5 year old son. He went into full meltdown mode and it was a disaster. The associate was so kind and underatanding, and took the items I was attempting to carry while dealing with my son and held them for me. Customer service was awesome and im also very satisfied with the products I bought!

Love this store, all the kitchen stuff I never knew I needed! Nice assortment of mixes, including Instant Pot starters and gluten free cookies & waffles.

Ordered this knife online and they sent me a used knife . When i opened the package it was not in original packaging but in a cardboard sleeve. Someone took a scotch bright pad to it and completely marred the surface, you can barely read the maker mark on the blade as well it had chipping on the blade and staining . Unbelievable That they could ship this out knowing the condition and that the knife was heavily used. This was priced @ 100.00 as a new knife. I immediately called them and no one answered the phone after 15 minutes. I emailed them 4 days ago and have had no response. Will be getting a hold of my credit card company to file fraudulent claim. Bad business and fraudulent.Updated ! I was contacted by the service dept by phone and issued a immediate refund and an apology. Apology accepted Thanks Robert

Its what you expect from a high end specialty kitchen store. Went in for a slicer, website said they had, and they didnt. I dream of owning a fresh knife set, and love the small utensil wall.

Clean, well organized and easy to shop. They are located inside of the International Plaza Mall in Tampa, and have plenty of merch! They are a large location.They are doing a good job of social distancing with one way pathway markers, mask requirements, and cleaning the card readers and counter between every customer. We found some great instant pot starters that we didnt even know existed, so we grabbed one of the ones that was on sale to give it a go.Staff was nice and offered us help if we needed it. They usually have tasting and classes, but they are currently on hold with COVID measures.Overall: AGood location with friendly staff. Check out the instant pot starters if you have an instant pot!!

I can always find the best scone mix outside of the UK here (Garveys).The remainder of the store, while stocking quality goods, does however, remain mostly outside of my price range. Highly recommended for bridal lists. My daughter is a Le Cordon Bleu trained pastry chef, and she loves the place too

This is a great Williams-Sonoma store. The store is practicing safety measures in the stores to prevent over crowding. There are many options for gifts and items for the home. A fun place to shop in, high quality items that are on the more expensive side.

If I could give this review zero stars I would. I placed an order from Williams Sonoma because of the brand being of high quality and well-known. On November 1st, I ordered over $800 worth of food for Thanksgiving. My initial delivery date was the week of November 8th which gave me plenty of time for a Pre-Thanksgiving event I was hosting. I spoke to Terry with Customer Service on 11/6 to insure I would be receiving my order the follow week. He confirmed that it would be shipping out Monday or Tuesday and I would be receiving it 2 days later. My event came and went, and I still have not received my order. When I check the tracking it says “Preparing to Ship” for the last two weeks. I spoke to Amber from Customer Service on 11/9 - explaining my situation. I figured since I did not get the food in time for my event, perhaps I could just have it for Thanksgiving. She explained to me that my order was preparing to ship and that she could not issue a refund/return although it had not left their facility yet. I’m extremely unsatisfied as I do not have my order, and they aren’t able to issue a refund. At this rate, it will be Christmas and I will be still waiting for my order. For such a high end and quality company, this has been an nightmare. I am now rushing to find another Thanksgiving catering company and I’m $800+ in the hole. Do not order any food from Williams Sonoma!!! Terrible customer service.

Went to exchange a salt grinder that was given to me by a sales associate as a pepper grinder when I was shopping for a few gifts for my mothers 65 birthday, I was told no go on exchanging the $80 grinder and was baffled as to why I couldn’t exchange the floor model grinder that I purchased that was given to me by an associate as a pepper grinder. I was told I couldn’t exchange beyond 30 days, unless it was a gift and I could exchange for 90 days which I was well within. We asked to speak with a manager and Susan approached me as if I was trying to get over on William Sonoma by purchasing a salt grinder taking it home and grinding a years worth of salt before returning it, to screw them over and get a pepper grinder to continue my trampling of their return policies, she was not going to let me get over on them today! She taunted me like I was a child with the idea that she would exchange it if it was broken, but by no means would she exchange it for a pepper grinder, she would only satisfy me by sticking me with another $80 salt grinder that I cared less for. Little does she know I have spent thousands of dollars at William Sonoma over the years, and I honestly can’t think of 1 time I have returned anything to them, I must have been too nervous to be shamed by Susan for doing so. Anyway, I will now never purchase another dollar worth of merchandise from William Sonoma stores, I can find everything on Amazon, at lower prices and with a better exchange policy. My mother is of course grateful, as she now is the proud owner of 1 $80 Peugeot salt grinder from William Sonoma and a $68 dollar matching Peugeot pepper grinder from Amazon.

The International Plaza store has slowly deteriorated. The customer service is not good and there is certainly a lack of professionalism and basic decorum. What a shame!

Cool cooking items a bit pricy but good things are.

This is a really nice kitchen store. They have anything you need for any type and size of kitchen. I find that most things you can get in the store you can find cheaper somewhere else. There are some things you wont find anywhere else. They have coffee makers with coffee grinders built in, ice cream makers, plates, sauces, salt and pepper grinders. They have cooking wines of all types. These are pricey. I havent bought any sauce so I cant say how good they are, but based on the look of it, they look like quality sauces. I will be returning to try these sauces and cooking wines however and am curious to try the smart oven they have. They do have some pretty cool things.

My wife ordered some things for our Thanksgiving meal online to pick up from the international plaza store. When she got there it was very busy, so she waited in line and got her goods. Only to, after just leaving the store, find out they shorted her two things she had ordered. She got back in the huge line and waited again to get the two items they missed. Then, once we got home, she noticed that they actually had also given her some different versions and flavors of some of the things she had ordered. Such as instead of an apple based Thanksgiving cocktail mix, that they messed up and gave us a pomegranate based Christmas mix. For as much as they charge, you’d think they would pay more attention to simple things like building an online purchase.Since we live a ways away from the store, and had taken a special trip to pick up the items. We ended up just going to publix and a local liquor store to get versions similar to what we were originally looking for in the first place. As big of a mess as they seem to be, we won’t use this location again.

Terrible shopping experience. They had a sign that advertised two frying pans for a certain price. I asked for them and they told me they were out of stock. Then Denise told me she could order it for me and ship it but then discovered she could not override an online price. She said she was a manager. Then she said she could order one and then return it and then sell me a store one. Discovered she could not do that either. Terrible terrible experience. They do have high quality merchandise, which is why I shop there, but their internal rules are absolutely ridiculous. There should have be nothing to stop her from selling me the one she had (she had a floor model which she “wasn’t allowed to sell” or override the online price and ship for free. Poor poor poor customer service.

Great customer service. We needed a lot of help figuring out which Nespresso machine was right for us and even though the store was very busy we got terrific support. Made our first cups this morning and we think we have the right one for us.

Great customer service. Drew was great!!! She took time to look up items I was interested in. She was very knowledgeable on products that I purchased. I purchased the Insta Pot Evo Duo and ended up getting a veggie slicer for zucchini on her recommendation.

Beautiful, high quality supplies and equipment ranging from the novice cook to professional chef.When you shop at William-Sonoma you deal with staff that knows and understands the products they sell. The staff are beyond helpful and courteous. Ive never felt pressured to make a purchase as the employees here know their supplies are an investment.

I love this store and have had many pleasant times in other ones; however, I was not impressed with the staff in this particular one. A lady asked me if I needed help with anything as soon as I walked in, and I said no I was just browsing today. She looked me up and down and gave me a look of “yeah right.” What I think is funny, is I understand there are pricier items in these stores so maybe I don’t “look” like the right clientele, but there are also a lot of great finds for reasonable prices here too. I was dressed in a sundress and flip flops because my husband and I were going to the beach after but I don’t see why my age and clothes automatically determine my status as a customer. I also don’t understand why very clearly looking me up and down is ever appropriate. I get that we all do it and make certain judgments of people, but if you want to keep customers in your store and make them feel comfortable, you shouldn’t be so obvious about it. *side note: I did find a cute airplane cookie cutter which I would have loved to buy as my husband and I are both pilots but I’ll order online now or find something like it on amazon.* also, the store was very neat and clean, and they had great displays. And I’m sure some of the staff are quite friendly. I might have just got unlucky.

Incompetent staff. Went to purchase floor model of an item because I was assured it was out of stock. I was then promised it was actually in stock and to wait. After waiting, several incorrect items were brought out I was finally told they were out. They then refused to sell me the floor model. Wasted 30 minutes of the very short time I had to Christmas shop. Thanks for nothing. Amazon here I come.

Terrible customer service. I found a Greenpan I liked but the one in the store was a bit beat up. There was a 20% sale going on so the gentleman working said no problem I can order it online for you and ship it for free. He took my drivers license and card and arranged everything. Within an hour the email I received was full price, no discount as promised and no free shipping. I was charged 12dollars for shipping. I spoke to customer service twice and they said they’d fix it and reimburse my card. That never happened. The customer service doesn’t live up to the products they sell.

I have wasted 3 hours of my life explaining to the store managers and the service rep. over the phone about a return that was not processed. I could go into much more detail, but I have already wasted enough of my life trying to get my return on over $170 back. Needs better service reps and processes for returning items.

As far as high-end kitchen supply stores go, this one is pretty nice. No pressure with sales. I had questions about a product. They didnt know the answer but they went and grabbed the box for me and took out the manual. They also, without prompting, brought out the next best competitor product box and manual so I could compare if I wanted,Thats solid service. The prices are overkill but, its Williams-Sonoma, not Target. I get it but most of the things there I can actually go to Target or Bed, Bath, and Beyond and buy for a lower price.Still, the got the sale and rocked it.

I returned a Christmas gift within 30 days of Christmas. It was a online purchase and I was told that I could not even exchange the item for something else I wanted and that the credit would have to go back to my husbands credit card. WHAT KIND OF RETAILER WOULD DO THIS FOR SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO EXCHANGE A GIFT?????They said that the store and the online were separate. REALLY, for a gift?? DO NOT BUY A GIFT ONLINE FROM WILLIAM SONOMA IF YOU THINK THAT THERE IS EVEN THE SLIGHTEST CHANCE THE PERSON RECEIVING IT MIGHT WANT TO EXCHANGE IT!!!! ALSO IT HAS BEEN ALMOST A MONTH AND WE STILL DONT HAVE THE CREDIT ON THE CARD AND WHEN I CALLED I WAS GIVEN THE RUN AROUND. SO I JUST TOLD MY HUSBAND TO CONTEST THE CHARGE SINCE I PROOF THAT THE ITEM WAS RETURNED!!

Staff was very helpful. She let me hold some of the shun knives to get a good feel on what i will be buying, showed me which ones were the best and explained why. Very friendly. I will be coming back to get a set for christmas.

Everyone in the store was so welcoming, friendly, and helpful in helping me find what I was looking for. While I was there I tried an apple cutter which happened to break on me and have the blades fall out. The employees were very concerned about me, seeing if I was injured, apologising, not caring about me breaking something. They took the cutter to the back so no one else would get hurt on it. I was fine thankfully. Overall just about the best customer service Ive ever had at a place.

If you love paying top dollar for everything then this is your place. This store is still delusional about their pricing and service. They dont realize that people shop online and compare prices on smartphones. If there were some perk such as a knowledgeable salesperson on the floor that was willing to take time with each customer then maybe they would have a following. Honestly, they have to up their game. Service, gift wrap and shipping services should all be gratis. At least they would have customers who still want that kind of customer service. I got knives at tjmaxx for 30 dollars that were 95 dollars at Williams Sonoma. 😑so, thanks but no thanks.

Do not shop here. If you lose your receipt or if you get a present without a gift receipt you WILL NOT be able to return it. Not even for store credit. Try Sur la Table or some place online.
