Outstanding customer service provided on my first new chevy purchase 3 years ago and again this dealership does not stop to make sure the customer gets what they are asking for. Brian Reid was the sales professional that assisted me for the first purchase and again so happy he was able to assist me again with my trade and new purchase. Peter was also another sales associate who kept in communication via phone and text which very much appreciated. Something that stands out from this dealer is their communication with its customer, their willingness to work as a team to make sure you get a reasonable deal and not walk away with nothing.

I would honestly rate 0 stars if possible. I have never experienced worse service in my life. I bought a Chevy Equinox with an extended warranty from another dealership, and based on reviews and location I visited this dealership to have it serviced. My service advisor Megan was great the day of and very helpful throughout my visit. It wasn’t until afterwards when she needed to follow up with my warranty provider to confirm service that things went down hill. At first, she followed up and promised she would get to servicing my vehicle, but then when a week passed I tried calling back to follow up. Since then, they have been promising me a callback and they never return my calls. It has been over a month since I originally went in and I still have not heard back. I have followed up since then about five times, and even waited on hold for about 20 minutes on Monday before the secretary “promised” this time I would get a call back. I still have not received communication from my service advisor or the dealership. I didn’t know you had to beg someone to service your vehicle, or even return a phone call! Very disappointed, and I will never spend any more time or money at this facility.

Well first let me start by saying, this was my second car purchase from Jim Browne Chevrolet. I’d previously purchased a 2013 Chevy Malibu about 4 years ago. Great car service was good they worked with me and I was able to drive off. Over the years I literally had NO major issues and I drove the car ALOT in town and out of town. Ok so fast forward to now. I just simply wanted a new car… I searched around went to different lots and just wasn’t happy. So I decided to go back to Jim Browne due to my previous experience was them being pretty good. I arrived at Jim Browne, started working with Kalyjah Rooks (remember the name EXCELLENT sales rep.!) he was wonderful!! I know I was a bit difficult to work with due to me having a low price range but wanting a nice vehicle. Kalyjah was sooo patient with me and my indecisiveness. We looked at EVERY car on the lot and he also searched their inventory via internet with me and didn’t make me feel like he was rushing me to buy or anything. He was such a good rep. Easy to talk to, understanding of my needs and was so eager to find the perfect car for me. Kalyjah went over and BEYOND while working with me. He went in the rain to get a car I’d previously seen from their sister lot just so I could view it and test drive it! No promise of purchasing. (REALLY great dude) long story short, I ended up purchasing the vehicle and prior to leaving the lot my sales rep. (Kalyjah) did all he could to ensure I was good with the vehicle. He literally gave me a crash course into the world of Mercedes Benz! Lol and then even after I’d purchased the vehicle, he STILL contacted me a few days later just to make sure everything was good. I truly enjoyed my experience at Jim Browne and working with Kalyjah. I will certainly refer everyone I know!! Oh and the he was so awesome, he even worked with me and my niece at the same time and got assistance from another rep. Who was absolutely wonderful!!(Corey Emanuel) Really the WHOLE experience with Jim Browne Chevrolet was a wonderful experience even down to speaking with the ladies in the financial department. So we left. We found the same truck two hours away that is currently hard to find and got more for our vehicle trade and the truck that we wanted was much cheaper! That just says it all!!!

I went there for a simple oil change and I was never so impressed in all my life!!! They work very methodically and get to Every single car according to how it arrived. Theyre very thorough and do the work well, not to mention certified mechanics!! They have the parts department right there if you need a part and its always the correct part! I am planning on going back to have my heads up display (HUD) looked at because it became very dim and I cant see it during the day. If theres anything wrong with your car, go to Jim Browne and they will accommodate you, you wont be disappointed!! 🚗

Called in advance to be sure I could bring my car for an oil change and was told no problem but might be a few hours, which was no prob cause I was going to drop it off. When I get there I felt like I had to pull teeth to get them to keep it to do the oil change being told we will try but cant guarantee it will get done. Was looking to get an oil change and tire rotation, luckily the service tech was able to get me in and get the oil change done but not the tire rotation. She said since they didnt get it because she didnt tell them in time she put it on my account to get it done at no charge next time so that was nice. All and all though there are too many choices on where to get my vehicle serviced to feel like it is an inconvenience for me to drop my car off here.

Lady at the counter, she was great.. but I told her, my right front tire was losing air and they came back said everything was fine with the tire after spending $1000 + I thought I was the one mistaken but no my tire kept losing air and I just went to regular tire shop and they were able to find that needle in less than 5minutes, so honestly I feel like they just did not want to spend too much time on that small issue and put me back on the road with a needle in my tireNot highly recommended, even for my next car purchaseThanks

As a GM employee I receive a discount the public does not, when searching for a trailblazer this location showed the vehicle we wanted, I already knew the price from GM, the sales guy didn’t bother telling us about they weren’t honoring the discount and charging $1000.00 for paperwork when other dealers charge us $70.00 till after we drove 2.5 hours, honesty is very important. The price of the deal ended up being similar to other dealers in the area after our trade, sales must be tough . If I get treated this way as a GM retiree imagine your chances, possibly thinking another brand next time.

Im going to give you an advice based on my experience and that of other people I know. The guys who work here are simply scammers in suits from the sale person until the general manager. While they are trying to sell you a vehicle they are so nice and friendly but after you sign the papers good luck if you need anything more from them. They dont think about future business with you, your family or someone else you could recommend they dont look that far, they are really cheap. So make a favor to your hard earned money and run away, there are a lot of better dealers around.

My wife waited over two hours for an oil change.She was recommend to go elsewhere and she wouldn’t wait as long….???My wife explained to the gentlemen that we service our vehicle at this dealer because when we purchased the vehicle we were told that we could only get our vehicle service here or our lifetime warranty would be voided. The gentlemen proceeded to tell her that he could not locate a lifetime warranty in his system and that we would be okay to go somewhere else.This is on top of only receiving one complimentary oil change since we purchased the vehicle when were told that we were going to receive two.Very disappointing, I’m in the market for a new truck and considered going to this dealership but this is the kind of services that pushed folks away.

I gave a thumbs up to the first twenty 1 stars that I saw. This place is only as good as its worst employee. Service guy was so rude to me on the phone, I couldnt believe it. I asked him what his problem is and that made it worse. He even refused to give me his name the first three times I asked. I called afterwards and spoke to a woman who told me that she would have manager AL call me. He was not in that day. Five minutes later, someone called me acting like a manager, telling me that he heard the conversation and wanted to let me know that I was out of line. I believe that he was the rude associates friend trying to cover for him. So sad pal. I already called again. I wont try and get you fired, but you need someone to tell you that you are wrong and I think you deserve severe punishment of some kind. I am a customer that was looking to spend some money. Im going to Wesley chapel Chevrolet. They quoted me prices for the services I needed at $300 cheaper than Jim Browne. To me that is stealing. How else would you describe that?

Besides my awful buying experience in which I drove from Disney to the dealership 6 months ago on a Sunday to do a deal. Arrived and nobody knew who I was or why I was there. 2 hrs of Disney traffic. I do live in Tampa but came back to do the sale. Never happened. Scott contacted me back in apology, offered me a Gift Card for my troubles and sweetened his car offer. Eventually I did buy. Eventually I received the Gift Card for $25 lol.... and it was expired!!!!Today was a 1st time Oil/Tire Rotation. 10am appointment. Finished at 11:40. Mats are oiled on drivers side. Screen shows my PSI. They never inflated them. So I contacted a guy inside and he took the car and got the tires filled. Never a dull moment there.

On Aug 17, I had my car towed to Jim Browne location because of road collision I have on Aug 14. On Aug 17th spoke with Christopher and I explained that I ran over an object in the road that caused damage to the car. On Thursday August 19, Christopher called to advise me of the findings to repair the car. It would be over $10,000 to repair. Stating the engine is damaged and a new old is needed and the radiator would have to be repaired. He was telling me that there was a code in the engine that was that was hard to get to and wasn’t worth fixing because of the year of the car. Christopher then suggested I contact my auto insurance for the repairs, which I did. On Monday, Aug 23 the claims agent came to check damages and was told that there was old code in the engine that was there prior to accident and it wasn’t worth fixing it because of the year of the car. So when I spoke with Christopher he advise me of the same thing, per the service tech discovery. I advise Christopher that before the incident there were no codes or check engine light showing on the dashboard and they only appeared after the incident happened. At that moment I was confused and started to feel concerned that the car was sold to me with an old code and the dealership just reset the code to sale the car. See, I purchased this car on 6/1/2021 from the same location and the information provided it made me feel like there was something shady that happened with the car. I really think that the explanation about the car status I received was unsympathetic and insufficient.

The service contact (I forget her name) was great. My grades do not reflect her performance. What I have an issue with is actually trying to fix my car. I have a 2013 Volt. I brought it in several months ago saying my battery wasnt holding the charge like it should. I was told then it was likely due to the cold weather as that affects battery performance. So I still paid the evaluation fee. I brought it in last week with the same issue and also a Propulsion limited alert when on gas power. Again, they could not fix the battery as it still had the same issue and they didnt know how to fix the propulsion alert message, even after calling GM. I still had to pay the $160 service fee. So Im out $260 and you havent fixed the problem. Why should I continue to bring my business to you when you cant fix the problem and I still get charged. All this while the vehicle is under warranty as well. I thought warrantees were suppose to help fix or replace if they cant be fixed. Very disappointing.In regards to your response below, all manufacturers warranties should not be expired as the battery and powertrain are warrantied up to 100,000 miles, which has not been surpassed.

I live almost 2 hours each way and confused because I get two answers on Do I have to come to your dealership for an oil change for lifetime warranty. Spend 6 1/2:hours between drive time and waiting to complete a simple oil change. Thats a day to me.

Took my car in for service because it was running hot,the car spent 3 weeks there,didnt complain because I do have another car ...I shared with my daughter.After less than 2 weeks it was returned for the same problem, 5 more days.After claiming everything was now all good,the car is back in the shop (another one) which exposed Jim Browne service had not replaced some parts they said they did.Women beware!!!!

My son’s Silverado had the steering module and alignment completed on July 5, 2021. The service department was excellent. Unfortunately, 2 weeks later the steering and suspension failed because a bolt had loosened. The camber bolt and control arm had to be replaced. Andrew G and I exchanged phone calls and emails regarding this issue but is refusing to warranty your work. Very disappointing and costly.

I came in with a list of issues. Stayed all morning so an “update” could be done. Came back to get my car and it looked like everything was good, the check engine light was off and I took the guys word for it. I no more got home and went back out that evening and the check engine light was back on and the shift to park issue popped up again. I kinda think they just reset the warning light to get me out the door….I mean, why would I know anything different. Not too happy with this car and the issues that keep happening with it!One guy there was super helpful. He had to be a manager of some sort, dressed nice and had some tattoos. He was on point with customer service!

After a day of car shopping and desperate car salesman, I went to Jim Browne Chevrolet. It was a wonderful experience. Robert met me in the car lot (it was very hot outside) invited me and my adult sons to food and water. I told him the car I wanted to drive and he actually went and got the car and drive it to me, so I did not have to walk in the hot sun. He explained all about the car after a test drive. Came in for my first oil change on my 19 Colorado. Although I bought the truck at another dealer (my mistake) your service dept was beyond helpful. I was told at the time of purchase that my first oil change would be free so I was nervous that it wouldnt be honored at Jim Browne but, hooray, it was! All we had to do was look up my VIN. I was in & out in an hour!!

I read all these good reviews and I am just amazed by how people give this place a good review. Was there a few days go trying to purchase a car, I spoke to one of the salesman and boy oh boy how much did he not even want to help me! Body language and just the way he was “helping” me were so terrible. I live all the way in Ocala and the only reason I drove here is because they had a car on lot that I wanted to purchase..this place and whoever runs this place has to teach the workers how to treat customers with respect and how to actually care about their job! If you’re not feeling like working don’t show up at all because now you messed up a deal! Never coming back here and I will not recommend coming here whatsoever

Contacted by some dunm@$$ names Elvis. Unsolicited and I told him it is too early because I am waiting in the $7000k incentives on 2021. He said there is a shortage of trucks and will never happen. There is a shortage of chips and trucks are sitting around. Dont trust a company that sends unsolicited texts and has no knowledge of the industry.
