Nobody wants their vehicle to be in a collision center for repair, but it happens. Fred, Brenda, and the entire team at Ferman North Dale Mabry Collision were professional and helpful from even before I dropped my truck off! I needed a new side mirror, and they informed me of possible backorder while scheduling the appointment; and the moment Collision got my insurance claim info, they went to work sourcing the needed items...before my vehicle was even dropped off! This team was genuinely interested not only in my repair, but in that I was kept informed of their action plan, which was executed quite well. Many thanks to you all for making my visit as great as it was!

While I was unable to make a deal on the truck I was shopping for, the experience of dealing with product specialist Ivan Miranda (via email entirely until I test drove the vehicle) was excellent. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, straightforward and honest. It was a pleasure to deal with him. I did not feel pressured at all throughout the entire experience, which I very much appreciated. It was no fault of his that I could not reach a deal I wanted, and I would definitely recommend him as a sales person!

We were driving down Dale Mabry when I blew a tire on the way to a dinner (reservations at 6, it was about 5:20) with my 11year old daughter as well. I would typically call my husband for him to come rescue me, however he had recently passed away. We were at the very end of the driveway by the street after I had pulled into the lot. I was looking at the tire thinking we would be waiting hours for a tow, knowing we would miss our dinner. All of a sudden an employee at Ferman Chevrolet came walking down the driveway. His name is Jeffery Brown. He asked if we were ok and I told him we blew a tire. He told me to pull under the awning by the front of the store as it was raining that day. He asked if I had a spare and started changing my tire. I was blown away that he was doing this for us as we hadn’t been customers or anything. I want to note that he did this on his own, there were 4 young guys all standing there talking and not one asked if we or he needed any help. It touched me because you could tell his knees weren’t the best and he was still willing to do it. You cannot find customer service like that anymore. I would definitely buy a car from him if I ever need a Chevy. Oh and the best part he did it so quickly trying to make sure we made our reservations, and we were a minute early!!!

It was the worse car buying experience I ever had. Im tired of always having to look like, be related to, or know the only people of color that white people know. Salesman kept insisting that I be related to some long ago black man he knew. When I went on the test drive he made sure to set the radio to a R&B station. When I got back he then told me they would do a soft pull on my credit and have the finance guy come talk to me. Before the finance guy could come over I started getting emails that my credit had hard pulls and when I brought it to the finance guys attention that only a soft pull was only to be done he said it shouldnt bother me because my credit score would only drop a few points.Young finance guy was arrogant and condescending, trying to explain the car buying process. I have owned and financed more new and used cars probably longer than hes been alive. I also told them I was a repeat Ferman customer and they ignored it. Salesman told me they dont use blue book to value trades but they use it to value the cars they are selling. Because of this experience I will never buy another vehicle from any Ferman dealership.**UPDATE**After speaking with the General manager Keith Miller, he wholeheartedly apologized for my experience. He indicated that the people involved would be spoken to and retrained. He then asked for me to give him another chance to earn his business. He had the Tarpon Springs location contact me the next day. The people at this location were all professional and made the car buying experience what it should be. Tarpon Springs location will receive a 5 star review for customer service.

Brought my 2016 Chevy Traverse in because the radio/Bluetooth was not functioning properly. They said they checked everything and I need a new radio $1400.00. I declined. Car would not start the day after I brought it home. Changed the battery myself and everything works fine including the radio. Not sure how you justify that. Not the first time I’ve had an experience like this at your dealership. I’ve had similar mis diagnosis with my 2014 Chevy Silverado. Will not return. Shame because I bought my Traverse there and was interested in a new one but will go elsewhere. Chronically upselling unnecessary services and overcharging. Criminal!

My niece took her car to get a flat fixed was told they did not have the tire, was told she could not wait in the waiting room, they gave her a ride to her job, but could not have a ride back, after the car being there the whole day. At 3pm she called was told the car was ready we got there at 4pm, the tire was still not fixed and all they did was patch the tire. We dont know the problem at that place. The man there was Rude, told us we have cars here waiting 2 weeks and they had appointments. SOME BODY NEEDS A Attitude adjustment.

Initially I had a great experience after I was rear ended and called them for help. They were very helpful on the phone, drop off was smooth, and everyone was super friendly and helpful. Fast forward to the day I pick my car up and there are very obvious issues with the areas they repaired on my GMC Acadia. My hatch isnt on straight, there are deep scratches on each side of the hatch where they put it back on, and one of tail lights is full of moisture. Im no car person, but all these things seemed pretty apparent to the point that I wondered why I had to point them out. I took my car home because it was the end of the day, but was told they would follow up after photos were taken of the issues. Now it is 3 weeks later, Ive called 3 times and no calls back as promised. They even owe me money from the insurance company sending them the difference that I already paid them and still no call back. Im a very patient and understanding consumer usually, but this is getting a bit ridiculous and extremely unprofessional. :( Based on the poor quality of work and the fact that theyre not rectifying it easily, I would not recommend this location.

This dealers service department has always done excellent work. The only complaint Ive had is that some jobs took a long time. A recall service for my HHRs ignition key replacement took two days, as well as replacing a cooling system valve in my Volt, also overnight. The service advisor made no mention that these could take so long. On the upside, the recent replacement of a window regulator, this visit, took three hours, very fast for something that involved.

I bought a 2019 used Subaru from Ferman Chevy. The experience was overall good. Loved the finance guy probably the best one I have ever had to deal with. Only negative really was the car only came with one keyfob and was told I could just get this from amazon by the salesman. This is half true you can buy one but you still need to take it to a locksmith and have it programmed and the key cut. My personal opinion if you have a 1000 dollar dealer fee is all cars need to come with 2 keys/keyfobs period and this would probably stop me from buying another used car from them. I asked at least 5 times if there were two keyfobs and could never really get a clear answer if there was 1 or 2 until the end after the deal was done.

Ive not bought a vehicle since 1996 and this was the most least stressful experience. It was so easy and there was no pressure or stress the team showed me exactly what I was looking for and gave me the best value for my money. I will definitely come back. I love my salesman Anthony he was great, Even knows what its like to have a hungry teenager with you and fed him lunch and snacks which was golden for an 18 year old. He also took special care of my mom who has a few handicap issues it was perfect.

Ferman Chevrolet on North Dale Mabry sold me a damaged car.In March, 2021 I purchased a 2019 Honda Accord from Ferman Chevy. Before doing the test drive, the salesman Jim Johnson warned me that the A/C isn’t blowing cool air. He assured me it’s a simple fix covered under warranty so no need to worry because this car is a certified pre-owned that’s passed inspection.I test drove the car & it was true the A/C wasn’t blowing cool air but since it was “covered under warranty” I went through the paperwork and bought the car. I immediately scheduled an appointment to have the A/C fixed the next day at a Honda Dealership.After taking my car in and doing the service for the A/C, I receive a call from Honda telling me the A/C isn’t my problem. He tells me I have extensive rodent damage where the main engine wire harness and sub harness have been chewed through and this is causing the A/C and possible other items to malfunction.So now I’ve had to file a claim with my insurance, go without a car for over 2 weeks, and then receive an invoice from the Honda service center totaling just below $4,000. All throughout this time I have tried contacting my sales guy from Ferman Chevy via phone calls and texts and haven’t heard back. I’ve also called the sales department at the dealership multiple times and left a voicemail for either the director/manager (I forget) at Ferman Chevy and clearly they do not care enough to try to get back in touch with me.I am beyond disappointed and this has been a very upsetting and stressful time not only because it’s an unethical situation on Ferman Chevy’s part, but also because I’m having to pour even more money out of my pocket. Just avoid this place if you can because they don’t seem to care much about customers… they just want to meet their sales quotas.

After and hour plus waiting for the mechanic doing work on my truck, he was not able to align it, and said that took care of the brake light switch recall, when in fact they got me a vehicle back not safe to drive with the brake lights all the time on. I have nothing but good things to say about Ferman or my sales associate, Werther Taylor.I was looking to buy a new vehicle. I went to TWO other dealerships before coming to Ferman, both wanted to charge additional fees. One even wanted to charge a $2,000 market adjustment due to the low supply because of the Rona! The second dealership wanted me to purchase an advantage package I didnt want. I asked for them to take it off. They wouldnt. I asked that they discount the car the difference. They refused. I got up and drove to Ferman.I was greeted with a kind welcome by Werther. He was knowledgeable about the vehicles, the trims and features. He helped my find my perfect car and assisted with the final pricing.Financing was also a breeze. My bank wouldnt process my payment on my debit card. They let me take the car home and come back with my checkbook to pay for the car!If youre looking for a vehicle, go to Ferman and save yourself the headache!

I was greeted with a friendly hello and Im sure there was a friendly smile under the mask. My vehicle was checked and I was given an estimate of the cost involved in servicing my vehicle. I waited outside and everyone I encountered was observing the CDC guidelines. After the service on my vehicle was completed, I went inside and talked to Tim who told me that the cost was less than anticipated because the oil used in my vehicle was different than what they had originally anticipated. Im a 20 year military retiree and have worked for Homeland Security for 16 years. Honesty and integrity are very important to me and Tim has both of those traits. We recently moved to the area from Wi and wanted to purchase a convertible. I stopped at other dealerships and wasnt treated very well until I stopped at Ferman Chevrolet. Werther Taylor approached me immediately with a warm welcome and big smile. He had only worked a few days but you couldnt tell. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to find me the perfect Camaro convertible at a sister location. Randy Torres was our other Sales person and he immediately helped us with our trade and othered us a great price. There wasnt a question that Randy couldnt answer and he had extra work to do since we were from Wisconsin, buying a car in Florida. He made it a seamless process and made sure we had our beautiful convertible home that night. They both stayed late to help with the paperwork and also introduced us to new areas to visit near Tampa. It was a pleasure working with Randy and Werther. If this is an example of people in Florida... I think I will like it here very much.

The absolute worse service department ever. I purchased my vehicle when it was Maus Chevrolet. They were good. I have taken my vehicle in at least (4) times. Once for a broken shock they said was my trailer hitch rattling. After taking it to my mechanic who told me it was a shock, Ferman claimed they could not find one. Transmission issues that pulled two codes. They reset those but said “it’s probably your torque converter”. Amazingly, two more trips back and I got the “we can’t duplicate the problem.” Gm’s answer from Detroit was “take it to another dealership”. Real professional, not! Unless you want to spend days chasing your tail, stay away from this group.

Although I had an Appt for 8:30 AM I didn’t leave until after 11. I requested eta twice and was told it’s coming. I also notified that some who came in at least 25 min after me had their car serviced and left before me! Lastly, when my car was finally ready the staff handed me my keys and told me my car was parked at the end of the lot. I was immediately confused since every person who had their car service was brought their car to the service lane where they jumped right in! I felt discriminated and as if it was a consequence for “complaining” or asking too many questions! I will never return to Ferman Dealerships. I also called a service number with no call back and someone called me and said they’d have someone call me with no response. I will not recommend Or return

I was driving my 5 month old, 3500 High Country with a customers 130k boat in tow heading to New York when a reduced power message came on. I immediately called a local dealership and was told to bring it in immediately. I arrived within 20 minutes and after disconnecting the boat trailer, then going through a COVID wipe down of the vehicle, i was told We cant work on this truck today. I once again explained our situation again and once again received the same answer. At this time I called Ferman Chevrolet and spoke to a female (didnt get her name) and explained our situation. She explained that they were completely booked but due to the situation she would squeeze us in. We arrived and once again disconnected our trailer in the lot and pulled in. At this time I met with Service Manager Tim who was completely sympathetic to our situation and pulled the vehicle into the back immediately. Within a short time, he explained the vehicle needed a part that was not available but would arrive the next day. He immediately gave us a loaner vehicle and his direct number. On a side note, I spent the night in the loaner parked next to the boat for security reasons until the dealership reopened at which time I proceeded to my hotel. As we were checking out at 1200, I received a call from Tim who informed us that the part was installed and the final checks were being performed. By the time we arrived, the truck was ready and parked in the reception area. I must say that the service we received from this dealership was the most amazing customer service that I could have ever imagined. This team treated us like family and although I was completely disappointed about my brand new truck leaving me stranded, this dealership definitely lightened to blow. I am 54 years old and have dealt with countless dealerships in my life, the treatment I received at the first dealership was definitely my normal experience. I cannot say enough about the service Manager Tim. He was everything a dealership could expect from a manager and 100% more. Thank you again turning a nightmare situation into a bump in the road. Great job guys !!!!!!!!

Scheduled an appointment 3 weeks in advance for an oil change and tire rotation and to replace taillight. Called to make sure taillight part was in stock a week before appt.Day of appointment at 9:30 am. Didn’t get my car until 2 pm. Was not able to replace tail light because part was not there (even though I called to make sure it would be). When I picked up I waited 20 minutes to get my car because the service rep couldn’t figure out the paper work. Then he couldn’t find my key which was in the garbage.It took 4 1/2 hours to get an oil change/tire rotation. Very displeased with the whole experience.

I think its only right to speak of the awesome service and excellent customer service I was provided by Bryan while having my vehicle serviced at Ferman Chevy. I brought my vehicle in for maintenance along with a few diagnostic concerns that needed to be dealt with. Brian was able to order the parts and have them installed the next day. I also had an AC hissing noise concern which the tech was not able to duplicate so Bryan took the time to test drive the vehicle himself to make sure there was no noise. Somehow it was corrected, as I no longer hear the annoying hissing sound. YAY!I am grateful for the service and just the overall experience. I would absolutely recommend him as a service advisor to anyone that needs their Chevy serviced!Thank you Bryan!

I needed 2 new key fobs on my last visit. you only had one in stock. I have to come back when the second one arrives. Im told I will be charged another service fee. I feel this is unfair. I had no keys, I needed to get at least one right away. Your parts department did not have more. That is not my fault. I should be serviced under the same ticket and should not be charged twice for the same job. do you agree or disagree.

I bought a new Tahoe diesel and when l left all the fluid levels where not full and equipment that came with the vehicle from the factory was left out of the vehicle head phones, etc. Sales did not even know they came with the vehicle and did not offer to bring the things the cleaning crew had to me. They had me come and get it and did not offer to fill gas up or anything for the problem. Poor customer service from a GM dealer.

If I could rate this place a zero I definitely would!!! I dealt with negligence & discrimination! I found the truck I wanted Tuesday a used dodge ram. I am self employed & had a co-signer which by the way was told my co-signer app was ran & never was! Jim-James Johnson continued to press a new vehicle on me & I told him im only focused on that specific truck. He followed up with me saying they were working with banks in regards to my co-signer and that I was approved! But I felt like he kept trying to steer me in another direction by offering newer vehicles. He provided a lot of false information like he was really working hard for me! I obtain all information that was asked of me by this time it was Friday & Jim advised he would call me that night with an update never heard from him then the next day late afternoon he texted me & sent another link & said for my co-signer to fill out again! I was like wth so you all never ran my cosigner information?! He never replied back so I redid the whole application with co-signer & called to speak to the general manager Andrew he then said this is the first time you put an application in with co-signer, then corrected himself& said oh yea you did Wednesday but it was never ran! I said ok you have it now Ive been working on getting this truck all week & was told I was approved & that Jim said it was my deal so I was first! The general manager then states no we have somebody putting an application in on it now & its sold. I said how? Why? Stop their app & push my app through not fair! He said no its sold & hung up on me! I was upset but never rude & never deserved to be hung up on & lied to! Unprofessional & Bad business! In the end it will all work out for me!

Great saleslady. Clean dealership. Car was clean. 4 stars because they tried to charge me an additional 1k over kbb for not having a trade in. I got them to remove that but I thought it was dishonest pricing.

UPDATE : I would like to Thank Eric for sending a professional company out to remedy this problem. 2/11/2021.I would like to schedule somebody to come out and clean the 2 oil spots off my driveway.The day after my oil change (2/1/21), Tuesday (2/2/21), I drove back to Ferman and showed the picture of the 1st oil spot. I was told there was no way for that to have come from my car – they claimed it was “bone dry” underneath. I explained my house/driveway isn’t even a year old and I am the only one who parks there. It is in a gated neighborhood; it has to be from MY car.Came back Wednesday (2/3/21) and showed the 2nd oil spot. They then found my oil filter was not screwed on correctly. Really? I appreciate that my next oil change will be free… but I am now stuck with having to deal with these oil spots on a brand-new driveway.-Amanda Bourassa

I had a recall of the psgr airbag. Altho the first time I called in March, I was unable to speak with anyone, so I left a couple messages. Since no one returned my calls for a few weeks, my husband did manage to speak with some in April and made the appt for the following week. At my early am appt, Tim, the service man, was friendly and advised me of what to expect. Replacement of the airbag was done in a timely manner.

Jim and Brandon from the sales team were both incredibly helpful and willing to do what they needed to make sure I was happy with the purchase I was making. Including staying at work until past 10 pm while we worked on finding the right financing plan. The finance manager Dave also definitely went above and beyond. After staying well past 10 pm Friday night to find a good finance plan we finally were able to make one work, when I came back the next morning to pick up the truck I had purchased he was happy to tell me that an even better finance plan had become available. I had already closed on a deal and he certainly did not have to go out of his way to give this offer to me. Truly a sign of great customer service. I could tell that this entire staff was first and foremost focused on making sure that I was comfortable with the process and ultimately happy with the purchase I made. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

He was very friendly and obtained enough information from me to begin the paperwork & limit time at the dealership. Once we arrived at the dealership, Ivan met with us. He had paperwork ready. After paying 75 dollars for an oil change and tire rotation. The vehicle was returned to me with low tire pressure in all tires. Obviously the technician, Nicholas Tincher, did not check the pressures. Which makes me wonder, did he really rotate the tires? I immediately brought this issue to the attention of the service writer, Larry Edwards, he said after you drive the vehicle the TPMS will re-calibrate itself. I believed him even though I knew the pressures are displayed immediately after any change. So I drove the car for a few miles and the pressures didnt change. I returned and told Larry about the problem. He had someone come and take the vehicle to fill the tires. When it was returned to me this time the pressures were all different, 35, 36, 37, and 38. The recommended pressure for these tires are 35 in every tire, so I adjusted them myself after leaving the dealership. This was an unnecessary waste of time and aggravation. My confidence in this dealership to do a professional job is far below average. When it was Gordon Chevrolet the service was much better. I will NOT return for any future service or to buy another vehicle (My wife and I have purchased three vehicles in the past from Gordon Chevrolet) There are too many dealerships in the area than to deal with one who has such poor customer service.
