This review is based off the location at 1000 S Dale Mabry hwy. Let me just say, I just moved to Tampa from DC Metro area few months ago. This representative didnt want to accept my passport ID card. Sent me home to get another form of identification. (What if I didnt have another form of ID, then what?)The representative made me feel like the form of ID presented was not a valid or legit ID. For which, I use my passport ID every where!! All he had to say is he didnt know what he was doing. I was very upset that I had to drive home. Also when I came back from getting my FL ID, another representative was hasty and hollered at me because I brought to his attention that I spoke with an Att rep on the phone who stated they should have accepted the passport ID card with no problems.As a customer service representative myself, I was trained to never let a sale walk out the door. I bought 2 phones that day.I really didnt want the representative to get the commission for the sale as I was not happy with the outcome. He didnt show me how the phone worked or how to setup an ATT account. Im thinking of taking the phones to another Att and canceling the sale and head over to Verizon just to be spiteful. I have 14 days from 2 days ago.. I will never recommend any of my friends and family to Att because of the service I received. Also I am a brownskin American who money is green just like a vanilla skin.
Highly recommend!!! I needed a new phone and when I returned to the AT&T store on Dale Mabry in Tampa it was great to see Steve again, as he is an absolute pro. Steve took care of successfully transferring my data to a new IPhone 12 and ensured all features and my saved information was accessible on my new phone. Excellent and professional service!!

My sister and I walked in to lease a phone, we were there for literally 5 minutes and the misogynistic salesperson (bald with a dark haired beard) made at least 3 jokes about our height within that time period. He was completely unprofessional and condescending, and we won’t be leasing a phone from him. It’s not a good look to have your employees commenting and making fun of people’s body size (or anything about their bodies for that matter).

My experience at at&t was great! I was assisted by Manny and he was very helpful. He helped me restore my phone since I couldn’t do it myself as the screen was broken and give me a new screen protector for my other phone all in a good amount of time. Overall he was very friendly and worked efficiently!

I was trying to help my parents from a distance and not able to get the help I needed via customer service phone call. Steve SimonCame into the branch with an existing issue where I called in March 3, 2021 and June 1. Spent over 3 hours with both reps on these phone calls and issue wasn’t resolved over the last 10 months.Entered the store agitated expecting another difficult experience. We had previously went to three AT&T stores and got contradicting answers and they didn’t have the phone she wanted. Marco was able to process the upgrade, set up her new phone and answer all of our questions. We left confident with all of our questions answered. The ease of the process made my moms day after several missteps at other stores. Definitely will go back to this store when it’s time to upgrade our other phones! I came in to replaced my broken phone. Turns out it wasnt broke it was just dirty charger port. The cleaned it and saved me a lot of money.

This AT&T was extremely helpful after my phone had been stolen, they were able to quickly get me a new one. When that new phone was stolen the next day, they helped me again get a replacement the next day. They made it smooth and were the best AT&T I’ve been too. Juan was the worker helping me, I highly recommend asking for him when going to get your phone serviced.
I came to this store to trade my phone in for the credit that att is offering right now... I was told there would be a 15 min wait by the lady I assume was the manager. I waited longer and decided to ask the manager if anyone would be able to help me soon. She said no, (she was not tending to anyone at all) there was another worker sitting doing nothing for the entire time that I was there. They are not wanting to work it seems like or maybe they just didn’t want to assist me? Not sure, however I will never go back to this store again. Very poor customer service.

Manager Melissa was amazing. I had experienced every issue possible activating a phone through ATT customer service phone support and after hours of dealing with them I came to this store for help. Melissa encountered several issues also, but she didn’t stop until my phone was activated. I was livid with ATT when I arrived at the store but left with a much better attitude because of her excellent customer service and dedication to fixing my problem.
Eric went above and beyond the call of duty in terms of understanding my personal needs, the needs of my business and the needs of my emerging start up.I highly recommend that if you have any telephony needs that you go see Erik or any other of the fine representatives at AT&T at this location.

The manager Jay and associate Cabo were absolutely useless. I stop in to charge my phone and get some insurance assistance and instead of assisting me they ask did you go online, what device is it. I drop Cabo because he was only angering me, no sense of humor, told me they only sell I phones, a waste of space he is. O then ask Jay for some tech assistance, I mean, its a AT&T corporate store, they sell the brand of phone I bought from their company, and he is the manager and his first answer is did you try Google? This store should be shutdown.

Not sure what kind of ethics code AT&T possesses, but a rep at this location flat out lied to me about the terms of my phone rebate and the buyback program during sign up and I spent hours trying remedy the issues with both the store and customer service (over the phone) to no avail. Not to mention, absolutely NO representatives were sympathetic to this dishonesty and the manager outright doubted my encounter and that the event could have occurred because he wasnt there. The detached approach and lack of responsibility/accountability with how information is relayed to the customer is unsettling.The only solution to my misfortune according to this company was to add an unnecessary line to my account. This was my only sane option as I would have been out hundreds of dollars from my trade-in otherwise. Seems kind of outlandish that this issue could only be solved by adding a line to my account, as my lifestyle does not facilitate this third phone line whatsoever.Id proceed with caution when it comes to going in to this store and signing up for AT&T personally. They seem to be running some kind of racket, and blurring the lines of honesty and ethics to make money no matter what the customers circumstances are. They dont really care what they have to tell you to get you to sign up for things and then when the terms and conditions dont add up, (despite listening to what you were told by the AT&T employee) they answer with apathy. Id steer clear if you want a transparent and honest experience regarding what you are getting yourself into.
Got the prepaid service. I travel in and out of the country so I have done this several times. The guy did not listen very well. He did not let me pick out my own number. Then said he picked a good one for me. Then when we tried to renew my wifes phone number they said they couldnt find it even though the 800 service said this corporate number could do it.
