Not too long ago I bought a new car. A beautiful car, turbo all the works. Only thing lacking as many of us know can be factory audio systems. Even though the system that came with this vehicle was not horrible the sound was just not well rounded. I like to feel a little bit of the music. I like to feel the kick drum and the bass hit my back. I looked at many different options for audio installation of a sub woofer or two. Including some places that I have gone since I was a teenager that are still in business. Places with great reputation. Many of these places however either were a little too pricey for my taste for what I was looking for or just had products I was not quite confident in. I was not looking for some thing that would piss everybody in my ZIP Code off just something to enhance the sound and bring the quality up to the quality of the rest of the vehicle.So I did a lot of shopping around did a lot of searching and found Sound Express. Had not heard a lot about them but read some reviews but still was a little bit of a skeptic. The shop is definitely one of those cases where you should never judge a book by the cover. Does not have a fancy show room does not have a bunch of boisterous sales staff trying to sell you every gadget for every nook and cranny of your vehicle. Instead I walk in and meet a man very unassuming and unpretentious. He kindly offered assistance. His demeanor alone instantly made me comfortable. The man or gentleman is named Tim. Told him my desires and needs and he walked me through about three options trying to feel me out as to what my needs for my vehicle were. Within a matter of 10 minutes or so we had a package put together and we were ready to move on to the next steps. Not only this but even had me immediately pulled into a bay and two great 10 subs with an adequate amp installed in a ported box. I was in to just hesitantly inquire and was out a satisfied customer with the system above and beyond what I expected in under 3 hours. Not to mention affordable. Never tried to pressure me to buy bigger or more. I admire that above all. I told Tim that I would be a regular customer and plan on being just that. Future needs I will go to sound express. If I have a friend that needs something similar I will definitely recommend Tim, his installers and Sound Express.

Well equipped store had all the equipment needed to get started right away. Put everything down and jumped in like they knew I was coming.

Bad business didn’t even have speakers 30 days charged $1200 and the speakers was blown I was told not to cut the base up because you can’t play the bass too loud I’ve never had music put in my car that you can’t turn the volume up and down there’s no warranty on it so I’m just out of $1200 do not bring your car up here to sound express! Owner was rude and didn’t have knowledge of putting correct amp to speakers to prevent them from blowing!

I purchased an alarm system from this shop since it’s been cold my alarm disarms on it’s own I went to explain this to Tim the owner I then got the battery checked nothing wrong with the battery I went back and let them know nothing wrong with the battery. Tim then says you can leave your car only if the alarm go off I will check and see the problem I’m explaining it’s only going off at night when it’s cold he then says again only if it goes off I will check. My issue is my car is just going to be sitting if it does not go off by end of their shift. I spent a lot of money with them alarm, stereo system new speakers and I’m a woman who knows nothing about electronic I’mThe customer my alarm have warranty and all. I don’t recommend them I only did service twice and never again

TIM AND HIS CREW ARE SOLID, THEY HAVE DONE A-1 WORK FOR OVER 15YRS FOR ME WHETHER ITS TINT OR MUSIC INSTALLATION .I DONT MIND SPENDING WITH SOUND EXPRESS BECAUSE I KNOW ITLL BE DONE RIGHT !!! REFERRALS IVE SENT TO THIS GUY IS ENDLESS...

This place of business is very unprofessional and does not have good customer service at all. The owner Tim is very rude to the customers I had brought my car yesterday to get audio put in and they broke my door panels and I was trying to let them know how to take off my door panels since it’s a Mercedes and they proceeded to tell me to sit down or you can’t be over here very rudely. I asked the owner Tim how can we resolve this issue and he told me to come back in the morning and see what we can do. I came back this morning and he called the cops and basically lied and told them that he said we can have our upholstery people look at it and fix the issue mind you the owner never said anything like that at all. He denied my business and stated he does not want me as a customer after I paid to get this installed and they broke my door panels to were I can’t lock my vehicle now and my door panels have been fine before I even went to sound express. He denied giving me a full refund or properly fixing the door panels that they broke upon install of the audio, they will also blame it on the car being old is to why the door panels broke that is not the issue the issue is that they did not know how to properly remove the door panels and will not try to resolve the issue to have a great customer service satisfaction.

Great Ive been going there for years

They installed a radio incorrectly and I had a constant humming noise coming from my car. I took it to them last Friday to resolve the issue the owner kept blaming the radio stating that was the reason for the noise. Funny enough I just got it rewired by a professional company in Brandon it cost more but at least the sound is gone so it wasn’t the radio after all. I am disappointed by the lack of accountability from this establishment. I would not recommend this company. Instead spent the extra money for real experts.

I bought a whole system from them after Christmas n I had some electrical work done on my car n the stereo ended up resetting n I stopped in to see when I could come in n have it set up again n he did it right there on the spot n it sounds perfect again! I definitely recommend Sound Express for all your audio needs. They really are the best out there!

No warranty when I was told it was a warranty!

Very professional, Im new in town and they didnt not over charge me!! Installation was on schedule and completed on time. Installation was top of line and very knowledgeable on German cars like BMW which is difficult to understand.

Very poorly run place. The owner Tim is very rude and does not care about customers. I went there often to get my stereo fixed and checked out and every time he is rude and the place is ghetto. He does not care about professionalism and even told me he didnt want me as a customer. Never go there.
