The VERY BEST, I have found the place Ill go for any phone repairs in the future oh and I have a couple of watches that need batteries so Ill surely be going there for everything they can do now. My old Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge phone has slowly deteriorated until it is unable to hold a charge for even half a day, so it was clear it finally needed a new battery. I did a Google search for local cell phone battery replacement services, and started making calls to find out prices and how quickly they could turnover the repair. When I discovered Batteries Plus, I noticed that they are conveniently located at Dale Mabry and Kennedy Blvd, which is not that far from my home, so I drove over to chat with them. The technician looked at my phone, then took about five minutes to enter my phones details and serial number into his system to see if they had the parts on board. He told me if I wanted him to continue, the repair would not take long since everything was in stock, and said to check back in 35 minutes to see if it was done (at first, I thought I misunderstood - NOBODY else I had called could do a repair that fast). I agreed to the repairs and then sat down in the customer waiting area with a book I brought along. After 25-minutes, he called my name to tell me the phone was ready to go. Most of the other places in town I checked for repairs said they thought they could get it done quickly, perhaps even in two days! And their charge was going to be $40 more. Batteries Plus provided the EXACT service I needed, did it VERY quickly, and did it for a fair price. That, alone, makes them head and shoulders above most other facilities. The $10 discount they offer for using their on-line system to schedule the repair is an extra added bonus. I cant recommend this store enough and I would encourage anyone needing cell phone repairs to check them out. Also, before I left, I asked about iPhones (since my daughters iPhone is soon going need attention), and the technician informed me that Apple products are also serviced there.

The plus must be for A plus service. Went in to get a new battery for my key fob. They replaced it for me. I must have been in and out in less than 3 minutes. Awesome attitude, great service. 5 PLUS stars from me. Also this is a REAL review!

Needed to get a watch battery for a watch that was my great grandmothers over 50 yrs ago. went to south Tampa battery store, the young lady that helped me was very nice and helpful!! She installed the battery and it worked perfectly !

Ja’nae was knowledgeable and helpful. She was patient with my questions and answered them honestly. She replaced my car battery and explained the steps as she went. She did all of this in a timely manner and made it pleasant experience. I would recommend using this location.

We bought a battery for my 1984 Mercedes for +/- $250.00. It would not hold a charge in the first year we owned it and I took it back to exchange it under their warranty. The staff immediately said theyd only exchange it if it charged overnight and the girl at the register said it could be the alternator or starter. It did not take a full charge and they offered my husband 10% off for a new battery. He took the old battery to another non-Batteries Plus store and bought a new one. My car started immediately and I havent had any problem with it since. I will not be giving any more business to this store --- ever! P.S. My car is 35 years old and have purchased multiple batteries in the past. We never have received this type of treatment from any other store.

Buyer beware these batteries are garbage. They say they have a one-year warranty but will not exchange if the battery does not have a 10 V charge. That’s a really dumb policy because if the battery was taking a charge I wouldn’t be returning it. These two batteries are only 6 months old. Absolutely ridiculous and a waste of money

I have always shopped there and had good service. I went by this week and none of the associates had masks on and were not social distancing. I will not go back until they do. We all need to work together to fight this virus. No one likes masks, but we all need to wear them to protect each other.

I had and have a very unusual requirement; i.e. I have a Duffy Electric Boat. I need 16 six volt Gel Sealed Batteries and one 12-volt Gel Sealed Battery to keep my boat running. Thanks to the BPB store mgr Beth Johnson in Tampa, she was able to research and obtain these batteries. Also she was able to get a good retail price for me. Moreover, she is making arrangements to deliver and install these batteries on my Duffy Boat. This will not be an easy task; as we all know. Ms. Johnson has a truck & crew to do the job:-)

Needed a hard to find size car battery, and these guys helped me find it - a Duracell (didnt realize Duracell made car batteries, but felt very comfortable with the brand!). They went the extra mile for me. Online, I ordered five new batteries for my sailboat. I received the Your order is ready email; but due to glitches in the corporate (this is a locally owned franchise) ordering system, they did not have all five in stock. The owner was not going to let me leave angry! He first offered to send a driver to the Brandon store to pick up the needed units. Then, instead, he offered to substitute for five of the next higher-powered batteries, at no extra cost to me. It was a significant cost difference. The extra amperage will help keep my battery bank healthy. I will return for any battery, bulb or phone needs!

I ordered my battery online around 10AM and received notification the order was ready around 12:30PM. I drove over around 5PM and the staff member that installed was quick and very helpful. He asked to make sure we were satisfied and made sure I got my core deposit as a refund. I do not live in Tampa nor do I regularly frequent this location, but I was very happy with the service and the speed of getting my battery replaced in my car.

0 stars. was not able to pick up my battery as the store closed 20 minutes early. I spoke to store manager as my car died at work which is a Restaurant directly across the street. I explained i would pull the old battery and come right over. made my on line purchase and got to the store at 7:40 -7:45. They close at 8pm... but they closed there doors early. i left reinstalled my battery and was lucky enough to get a jump start. I will have to go and get a battery some where else in the am as I do not live in that area.very disappointing and frustrated. I will be requesting a refund and not using that store again.

Ok service, but stinky store policies. It’s a franchise so each store has their own rules. Batteries kinda of expensive. I’m always support local stores but this is it. Time to get on Amazon, this will save me time and headaches.

First, two weeks ago, Zane helped me get my phone going again. I needed a new battery and charger since both were the original ones. He installed the battery for me as I have no tech skills and am almost seventy. In spite of that, he helped me feel comfortable about needing help .He was competent and helpful.Today, I met Beth, who spent hours helping me with my old iPad that had lockedme out! Of course, I could not remember the password so she had to try different approachesuntil she finally was able to download, restore, and reset my password. While she was workingon my iPad, she intermittently and quickly helped other customers as needed.She was patient and helpful in spite of the time this took to complete.I now have access to my iPad and am typing this on it right now!I feel she went beyond the call of duty to help me. This is important because myiPad is the only device I have since my cell phone is an old flip phone I useonly for phone calls, I highly recommend this store because you will be in good hands with Zaneand Beth.

I purchased a replacement JetSki battery online for store pick-up. After arriving at the store about 30 min later, the person helping me said the new battery needed to be charged for an hour, and I would have to come back in an hour.I was not happy to have to make two trips, and just did it because I needed the battery.When I returned the second time to pick-up, Jean the manager became aware of my multiple trips, and apologized, and gave me 20% off the price of the battery. Beth was an incredible help with 5 walkie talkies I got off Amazon. The rechargable batteries died within 10-25 recharges and were not typical replaceable batteries. With a little ingenuity, she was able to find an appropriate replacement and ordered what I needed. Items were in within 2 days and were affordable (~$13 each). It required some soldering and filling in extra space left in the casing from the old battery, so the new battery wouldnt move around. She saved me tons of money from having to replace all 5 walkie talkies (~$180+ to replace them) and did a professional job. She was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. The new batteries should last about 3-5 years with our typical once a week use. Well worth the new batteries and an overall great experience. Thank you, Beth!

Batteries Plus Bulbs on S Dale Mabry offers a buyer professional service and then some. Mike waited on me. He placed batteries in my car key fobs. One key had a tiny screw that had no way to place a small srcew driver in it so MIke separated the parts of the key and placed a new battery in it. I call that real good service. If you need a battery that is the place to go. They carry other useful products.

Normally I do not write reviews, but when a companys employees go above and beyond to ensure great service I feel it should be recognized...I had issues with a scooter battery that need to be daisy-laced as well as be replaced and from the knowledgeable person I spoke with over the phone to excellent service tech (Efrain) who informed me on the proper care of the battery in addition delivered a speedy installation.

I had an awesome experience here today. I was scrambling around different places earlier in the day because I needed a new iPhone battery stat. Was quoted cheapest 79.99 at another place. I stopped into Batteries Plus and Joe couldn’t have been more helpful. In 20 minutes I had a brand new battery in my iPhone out the door way cheaper than other places quoted. While I was waiting, I asked another gentleman working there ( sorry forgot name but very cool guy ) if he could check out the battery terminal in my car-in 10 seconds he told me exactly what I needed to get and where to get it- did the repair while my phone was being fixed. Turns out original replaced battery wouldn’t charge - no sweat- took it right back and another gentleman changed it out in 10 minutes and it’s working great. In sum, these guys are legends and I recommend them highly.
