We were looking for a very particular cover for the bed of our Jeep Gladiator along with various other aftermarket upgrades. Joe got all the estimates and ordered the parts. Due to COVID, it took a while for everything to arrive and Joe graciously answered all my questions and provided updates on when everything would arrive. When time came for installation, we were kept updated on the status of how everything was going. They treated our truck like their own. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for aftermarket upgrades for their vehicle. Will also definitely use their services when the time comes for the next upgrade.

Excellent experience. Went in with a mental picture of what I wanted but not sure how to make that real. Joe and Chris took my idea, helped me find what I liked, showed me examples and got my truck in that same day ( lucky for me they had everything in stock). I got it back the next day. They crushed it!

Went there with a tire rubbing issue and Chris provided a solution for current problem with future expansion options. Update, it didnt fix my issue totally.. still had the rubbing however the truck looks better.

Great Results - Couldnt be happierFirst, my husband dented the chrome part of the bumper and we did not want to claim it on insurance so I purchased that piece from Ebay. I recommended Ideal and he called around to find someone to install the chrome piece of the bumper; they did a wonderful job and no insurance claim!Second, while he was there he received a quote for shocks, ours were 6yrs old and sagging in the rear when the 5th wheel RV was hooked up, very bouncy. We were quoted for two brands; we chose Rancho after reading some reviews.He scheduled to have the Ranchos installed, alignment, tire balance. We were very pleased with the price charged and the work performed. The truck drives straight, no tire vibration and most of all, when we hook up the 5th wheel RV, no sagging, no bouncy going down the road, very solid ride. I have tried numerous shops trying to get all the after market mods I want installed on my truck and Ideal Automotive is by far the best place to go. They are a complete 1-stop shop. This is my 3rd vehicle I have taken to them and actually planned our family vacation this holiday to make sure everything could be done, while I was in town. Prices are fair and their quality of work makes it all worth it. very happy customer, this trip was to install the Titan 55gal fuel tank, spare tire delete train horns and a leveling kit.

Went in and no one greeted me even though they saw me come in. Strike one. After I asked for help in purchasing a truck bed cover and put a deposit, I was told 2 business days and they would call me. I called on day 4 because no one called me with an update. I was told the person was with a customer....as if I’m not a paying customer. Strike two. I waited for a call and no one called me back. Strike three. I called again and same thing, he’s busy with a customer and he’s call back. Strike four. When he finally called me he insisted he told me 2-3 business days. Not what I was told. I then said I’ll just get a refund instead because the part was obviously either not ordered or had not arrived because his response was he’s cancel the order and I can come get my refund. This was a Saturday at 1245 and they close at 1. I couldn’t make it there in time so bro g they are closed on Sunday my only option was Monday. I was on my way Monday when I was called by a female employee stating I can come in for my install. Strike five. I informed her I was coming for a refund and she stated well we have to charge you a restocking fee. Strike six. I told her the guy was supposed to cancel the order so why the fee. They have the worst customer service I’ve dealt with in a long time. I should have known when they did not greet me. My 20+ yrs in the AF didn’t warrant a 10% military, discount so to my fellow Vets, take your business to a company that honor our service to our country. Guess being black and female didn’t help either. I in no way recommend this place just for those reasons. Businesses should treat all customers the same with courtesy and respect.

3 years ago I met Joey the manager who promised a great price and great service so we agreed and I had running boards installed on my truck. Here I am 3 years later with a new truck, I called Ideal and I was happy to find out Joey is still there, he once again came through and had new running boards installed on my new truck...IT LOOKS AWESOME!! Thank you Joey for keeping your word!! Keep this guy around, he’s true to his word.

I own a Chevy Colorado and bought the OEM off-road lights from an individual. The harness was no good and couldnt get a dealer to install. I then purchased ditch lights and an S-Tech switch system. I thought this was going to be a very challenging install but the Ideal tech installed everything and got the OEM light bar lights and brake light done in 4 hours. Everything works as expected and totally satisfied with the workmanship. They know what they are doing!

Terrible customer service and the sales manager is very rude. When I called to inquire about my order. I waited over an hour and the sales representative never called me back. I called again and was told that he was super busy but will call me shortly. Seems like they either need to hire additional sales personnel or have the personnel answering the phone keep up to speed on sales transactions. Once he final called back; he was rude, very arrogant and was condescending when I stated I wanted a refund. Simply put very childish and unprofessional behavior on his part. Wouldnt hire him to represent my company.

After being jerked around by a bunch of crooks, i luckily went to IDEAL to get a quality job! Service was top notch, the people there are obviously experts in their field and i couldnt be happier with the way my truck rides and looks now! I will never go anywhere but to Ideal in the future!

I had my truck lifted here about a year or a little over a year ago. I brought them my truck with 10,000 miles. I had a fabtech lift installed 6 inch on my truck which wasnt cheap but not the MOST expensive lift out there. Between the 10,000 miles I had on it stock and the 20,000 I put on it with the lift kit I returned to this shop 7-9 times with no help at all. My truck was making a metal on metal rubbing noise in the front and it took me 4 different trips to get it fixed. They finally fixed my passenger side strut, due to a bushing they didnt seat right when they lifted the truck. First 2 trips all they did was oil it so it would stop making the noise. A few thousand miles later and my driver side strut started making the same noise, but this time with a loud knocking noise. I took it back twice and they oiled it up and it was left at the shop for almost 2 days. Within 2 hours of being fixed it was making the noise again and they claimed they couldnt find anything wring with it. I then took my truck to a shop in lakeland who took the truck in the first day I had dropped it off and they found that the top strut mount was installed crooked which was causing my strut to rub against the spring and ruin my strut. Out of the top four bolts where the top of the strut is mounted one of them was cross threaded and one of the bolts had snapped in half. The knocking noise was due to the lower strut mount being loose and the actual lift bracket where the lower arm attaches was loose as well. My truck was sagging in the front because of this. I dropped my truck off to this shop in Lakeland and had news struts put on within 4 hours with excellent communication and customer service when I left my truck with them. They also aligned my truck within that four hours also. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO ANYONE! You will be sorry that you let them work on your truck. DO NOT GO HERE. They do not know how to install their own products they will waste your time and your money and also do not buy any lifted ford trucks from the Brandon ford dealership because they lift them. Terrible shop if they can even be called that.
