Their outbound associates are completely unprofessional. They called our business asking for the owner trying to obtain his name by false pretenses. The young lady on the phone was completely rude and unprofessional and hang up on us when we told her we werent interested. Going through their reviews it appears that this is something they do to all. They should be ashamed for the way they do business but their rating reflects their business therefore...
Do not ever give these people any time of day, they will not stop calling and harassing you to no end. They are extremely unprofessional as far as any business goes. You tell them no and they continue to call and harass your business.
By far and above one of the best experiences I have had. I needed a top tier Camera system installed that would also record audio. The cameras are so clear and the software is easy to use. I am able to be away from my business and see whats going on at the same time. If you are looking for amazing service BOTH before and after, Fort Knox is great!
I waited a week to write this review. I dont usually write reviews. I called Fort Knox to inquire if they could service my existing system. I needed a new camera and help with the operating system. I spoke to Daniel who seemed eager to figure out the problem and come up with a solution. Our first conversation was lengthy and because it was the end of the day and end of the week we decided to pick it back up the following work day. When I didnt hear anything, I texted Daniel and he was busy at the moment and said he would call right back. I told him to call whenever it was convenient for him. It has now been over a week and still no reply. I am very disappointed because he seemed like an honorable guy but maybe he just got busy. This review is not to bad mouth Daniel. If I had read all the negative reviews in advance, I would have never called Fort Knox security in the first place. To be fair, I think its safe to say that one or two bad reviews can be attributed to customers who can never be satisfied but there are just too many to make me feel comfortable doing business with this company.
Cameras were good quality when installed. However, the quality of camera means nothing if I can’t access the system remotely because the app rarely works. The payment plan is way overpriced for the product. The service techs cannot figure out what the problem is, and my most important camera (watching my safe) isn’t functioning at all, even through the DVR, much less remotely. The last time I called was months ago, left a voicemail, and still haven’t heard back. I did voice how upset I was, but rather than reach out and attempt to fix the problem with a years-long customer, they chose to ignore it, hoping I would go away.I do not recommend this company. The only way this review gets changed is if they buy out the remainder of my payment contract.Edit to owner’s response: Mike failed to mention that during said phone call he yelled at me (his customer) for quite some time. Said that under no circumstances will he let anyone out of their contract because that’s by design. His words were “I could walk into your business, light your cameras on fire, and you would still owe the money on them.”Good luck people, this is the kind of guy you’d be dealing with.
I never did business with them but got a scam call with a guy sort of trying to pretend that we were already doing business. I’m guessing this is typical
So disappointed!! I WISH I WOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS on Fort Knox Fire & Communications before we went into business with them and had them install our security cameras. Our cameras stopped working approximately ten months after they were installed. I have been trying to get them to come to our home and correct the problem since March 13, 2020. I have called and texted both Mr Hall multiple times, only to be directed by him to Mr. Dool, whom I have also called and texted multiple times to no avail. This is the worse company to deal with when it comes to following up on their service calls.
Had a little trouble with connecting the camara views to different devices so we spoke to Daniel and he was very patient, respectful and helped us get all devices going. He made it easy to understand and gave us step by step how to connnect. We are very happy with our service.

Harassing. Rude. Unprofessional. Called repetitive after I told them to place my business on the do not call list. Had the smart idea to say they spoke with the owner 6 months ago. Hilarious since the owner doesn’t or has been in the my office in years. If you decide after all the scamming and rudeness to do business with them, you are on your own. Non stop phone calls. DAILY. I have asked repeatedly for them to stop calling as I have NO INTEREST whatsoever in their over priced junk (Just read all the negative reviews online). We are on the states do not call list yet they call DAILY, multiple times trying to sell us their overpriced garbage they dont support (again read all the online complaints about this company). Filing another complaint today.
This company is highly unprofessional and a complete scam!! Constantly getting sales calls after I have asked them to stop. I have a complete log of every time they have called and been asked to stop calling. They call my business and ask for my husband, the owner. When I tell them hes not available and how can I help, they try to be slick and says its in regards to a personal matter they spoke with him about a few months ago. Lol well the funny thing is my husband hasnt answered our business line for over 11 years as he is the one out on the road working. I am the only one that answers the line and they know because each time I get the response oh are you the wife. I have saved all of their numbers in the phone so I know exactly who is calling, but each time when I start to call them out they refuse to identify themselves. I am filing a report against this company for non stop harrassment and strongly advise anyone who is considering doing business with this company to stay far away. If they can be this sketchy and dishonest in their sales tactics then I can only imagine how terribly dishonest they would be once they have you as a customer.
Cameras are ok but their tech Daniel is absolutely amazing !!!

Feel awful, I had a good experience with them and I recommend them, Shame on me! As soon as a problem arises out come the charge it high or go elsewhere ethos! Mike seemed a fairly good guy when I was buying, now I am having problems, cant see him or hear from him for dust! Spend your money with ADT or similar but a lot less expensive, and no doubt one of the big companies will hold their customer service to a level you would expect and expect a service, not Fort Knox they scam you they take advantage and they hold a gun to your head, and they even have the audacity to blame someone else, please please please do not down your hard working money with these people! In my opinion!
Called my place of business while I was on vacation and told my receptionist it was an emergency regarding our security system at our office. My receptionist told them I was unavailable but they insisted they talk to me. She gave them my cell phone number and called me at 7:30AM PST to sell me security cameras. Really crappy way to do business by telling people its an emergency to try and sell something. It was not a miscommunication as they strickly said it was an emergency as we record all calls.
I almost got ran off the road today by one of their employees from this business driving 1 of the utility cars going up McMullen booth road. If I didnt slam on my brakes when he was coming into my lane with no blinker, he would have scraped the entire side of my car. I find it crazy that an employee would drive their company car in this type of manner
By far the worst vendor I have every done business with my fault for not doing a better job researching my options before contracting them. Way over priced for materials and even worse for service $190 per hour for labor for two techs and $95 to come to the job It cost me $1700 to put two cameras in CRAZY !!
