My go to supermarket. While prices are higher, the service and selection separate them from their competitors. Only the deli dissappoints, with regularity, they have better things to do than help a customer. If your a wise and knowledgable shopper, you can offset higher prices by being open to what is on sale and limiting your compulsive urges. Have a list, be flexible, get in, get out.

Will probably be driving to the Publix on Ehrlich. It is farther but Ive never seen a Publix with worse produce than at Westgate. Moldy berries, rotten melons, a few old potatoes. They need a new manager in produce. The employees in the deli take their time asking if youve been helped. I Have walked away several times out of frustration. Ive never seen employees move so slow. Ive never seen a Publix with so many issues.

Publix is the best and I dont know how they train their employees but they do it right!! In all the years I have been shopping Publix, not once have I ever grabbed a cart that had any problems with the wheels or otherwise. They are perfection!

Publix, where you can find it if Walmart doesnt have it--but itll cost you 50 cents to a dollar plus more. I like Publix stores, they have that 80s feeling reminding me of a kid growing up accompanying my mom to the grocery store. Publix does carry many things Walmart does not...But be wary, not all Publixes are the same, some may carry one item from a brand and another may not. They do have a handy app that you can look for what you want and to see what location has it.

Bakery is great... the LADIES there are so courteous and helpful !Produce is lacking in their organic selection and the staff was not knowledgeable about their area .Customer Service was just what you expect !! ... Always a pleasure shopping at Publix. I have eaten many a sandwich from various stores but today I trying a Publix Philly Chease Steak Sandwitch that my brother, Glenn ranted and raved about so much while he visited me from the New York area. I was told the Potato Wedges are good too.

Made a phone order for my daughters bday cake. Whoever took the order put it for a whole different day when she confirmed with me it would be ready on her bday. When I went to pick it up there was so much confusion because obviously there’s no cake ready! I was calling around making sure I didn’t call another Publix when I made the order but when I made it to the end of the list and I called back she found the order for the wrong date. I asked her if they had any plain cakes or premade ones they could just switch the colors out for but she said she would have to ask the manager to see if he wanted to so I let her ask when she came back she said there’s nothing they could do to help me. You could understand how upset and defeated I felt. All the money I paid for her decorations and theme basically down the drain all because PUBLIX had 1 job to do and they failed.

Its a quiet place, might just be my favorite Publix Ive been to, amazing selection of groceries, good staff, and promotions all of the time. The flu shots administered here are a great convenience. Great subs, great bakery and selection of bread, Im sure to come back every time I need to shop!

They are always nice knowledgeable about everything in the store and always ask if you need help out to your car no matter what you have or the weather outside!!!!

This is THE Publix, the flagship in Tampa I would say. It has everything that other Publixs offers plus cooking classes and an excellent wine selection.

I always have a good time at Publix. If I cant find something all I have to do is ask someone and they are always helpful

Very disappointed in this publix. This use to be my neighborhood Publix for 13 years straight. I moved away a year ago and it has went down tremendously. I called in an order they told me 30 minutes. I got there 45 minutes later expecting it to be done and everyone in the deli walked pass like they didn’t see customers waiting and didn’t acknowledge me until 18 minutes later. Then come to find out they didn’t even cook it how I asked and gave me some cold wings that I had to reheat when I got home because they weren’t done enough. 0 stars for this Publix and deli and stop just hiring any old body smh!

Overall the store is clean the staff is always friendly, usually every time I walk in the manager is nearby and always makes eye contact with a smile and ask how I am because I not only shop there but I am a patient at their pharmacy; which is also great as well as the pharmacy techs and pharmacists. Overall its my favorite Publix in the Tampa Bay area.

Recently rebuilt from the ground up from an old style Publix, lost something in the transition. I remember when it was our Publix with the old guys drinking coffee up from every morning most of the old staff left and never came back. Now a generic Publixs thats not as nice as some. Hot parking lot with a few recently planted twigs, shade in ten years. Staff is great. Front inside is missing sun light with a hole in the wall cave eating area. Where would you like to shop and drink your coffee? No wait, what coffee? Not corporates best effort.Doesn’t have A liquor store.

The customer service is awesome at this location and the store is clean.

A couple of complaints: 1) No enforcement of mask-wearing. Costco gives out masks while Publix looks the other way. I encountered an elderly woman today with latex gloves on and no mask. Is she kidding? Shes at a high-risk group. And she could be infecting us. Folks at the register told me they dont enforce the mask rule due to fights that have erupted. With the number of cases rising, maybe enforcement or handing out masks might the right thing to do; 2) Publix will no longer be baking their famous pumpkin pies in-house any longer. They will, instead, sell boxed pies from Canada (no offense, Canada) that are not nearly as good as the in-store pies. And just in time for the holidays, too. Good job!

Clinton in the deli department was very kind. He also makes a great sub. Definitely will be back.

Pleasant shopping experience. Can be very busy at times.

Only reason for not 5 stars was because of a manager who wasnt very kind to a homeless young lady outside. Everyone has struggles and he told her she wasnt a good look for the store and needed to leave the seating area out front.

I generally prefer to shop places that require facial coverings right now. Publix supposedly does this. So Im unsure why this location keeps having issues with employees wearing them correctly. Moments ago I was checking out, and looked over to the customer service counter. There were three employees chitchatting, noses protruding from their masks, within a foot of each other. Ill probably avoid this publix until things calm down. At least until then.

I started shopping here on opening day, and since have made it my to go supermarket. It is a very pleasurable experience when you shop at a business which is well stocked, immaculately clean, coupled with exceptionally warm and professional staff, who are always there to help you. When you ask where to find an item, they dont point out or direct you to the aisle, they walk with you to the item, now that is great service. The cashiers are all so warm and friendly. Great Bakery section, Deli and great wine selections. This is really the best Publix Supermarket Ive shopped in. Very clean and lovely plaza, with ample parking space.

When going to a Publix you dont use to visit make sure they carry what you need. This one dont sell a Vegan Mayonnaise I always buy in the one on Waters Ave. Everything else was on the check list. Even asked an associate and he said they dont carry it.
