Publix supermarket in New Tampa is a great store go to! Great customer service clean store lots of selections fresh produce.

Very clean, quick service and friendly service. Be careful in parking lots lots of traffic from all directions. Pharmacy always has great service and the deli makes the best subs. Thanks Guys

Spending 87 and saving 50 dollars is amazing, but what really blows my mind is that EVERY time I visit, no matter who my cashier is, and I bring my reusable cold and dry bags. They will do there absolute best, saying sorrys for missing a cold item that would go in the cold bag and REWORKING THE BAG TO FIT IT or Im trying to make sure I fit everything in the bags. And always tetrising everything perfectly that I dont have to use a plastic bag. It makes my heart swell. That easily couldve been 10-12 plastic bags but they made it work to fit all of it in 2 reusables. In a way that honored not only me but the environment. So so cool.

All the Publix have ample selection, quality produce and many custom deli items. Publix deli is know for its sandwiches and wings . Well staffed with plenty of registers open and nice people unlike some competitors. It makes for as good a grocery shopping experience can be.

Always love going to Publix for my fruits and vegetables always fresh. Being from up north I love my Boars Ham and hot dogs always can find them here. Hard to find Sugar Kiss cantaloupes and almost always I can find it here. Love there subs. Very clean location.

Bring your insect repellent or long sleeves clothes. Quiet nature walk. Shared pedestrian and bicycle path. Fun swing and ropes course for children.

Every time I enjoy shopping at this store but I always find the cashiers looking upset and dont greet you. I feel uncomfortable dealing with them.I dont know maybe they dont get paid fairly!Otherwise this publix is great and clean. They always have great bogo items!

As a long time Publix customer... This location has a poor selection of items, shelves not stocked and only 2 checks open. Shopping was not a pleasure here . As a positive, all employees were very pleasant

Well 5 stars for the variety of items at this location but 1 star for the workers, my wife is pregnant an one of the employees bumped into us as we were walking an he didnt apologize until I started to make a fuss about it. He was in a rush to put stuff into a display. An in the produce area 2 employees blocked the pathway with there carts so customers had to go around which isnt righ.

Try Cobia at publix. Tried years ago in ft Lauderdale. Best kept secret. The best tasting white fish. Ask for Jimmy in the fish department. Hes the best.

Funny but I frequent 3 different Publix stores and bypass everything else in between. Quality, selection and level of service are top notch.

Over-rated. They always advertise shopping is a pleasure but employees do not follow through on that promise. Multiple departments act like you are bothering them when asking for help. Talk is cheap! With your prices you should provide above average customer service. Your service is below average.

Good selection in the deli and bakery at this store. Most of the employees are very friendly. The parking lot can get congested at peak times.

What can you say its publix. They are so far ahead of the competition in everything except price. But I am willing to pay a little more because the shopping experience is so much more pleasant then any other store then I have ever been in. Coustmer service is unmatched. Always well stocked and clean.

Manager Michael saved Publix $1, or did he cost Publix $3.49? There was no Publix oatmeal, so I grabbed a Quaker and asked the cashier to adjust price. The customer service person said they dont do that, and then the manager said no.... and Instead, he didnt believe me, so I had to follow him back the missing product, then see if he had the Publix brand in the back, then expect me to wait for all that, and go thru the register again... I told him to forget it and to keep his oatmeal and the extra $1 it cost. Good job Michael! Why expedite the customers visit by making up for your negligence when you can make them late for work instead? The shopping pleasure is absent when you dont stock the shelves.Update: Response from Corporate - I was disappointed to read your email about your recent trip to our store, and I apologize for the inconvenience it caused you. I have spoken to the Office Staff and informed him that he should have offered you the Quaker cereal at the Publix cereal price. I will speak with the other Office Staff to ensure they are aware of our policy as well.I also spoke to Michael about the incident, and he will do whatever is necessary to ensure you are offered premier customer service. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and again I apologize.

Kind of expensive for my taste. Had to get some hairspray that I had run out of for work. Was at the eye glass place with my sister so while I was in the strip center I got what I needed. I usually get it from somewhere else but ....

One of the better supermarkets in the area. On the pricey side, but has a pretty good selection.

My reason for the 2 star rating is because they have a very limited organic selection in the fresh produce section. Another reason for my low rating their flower selection is not always fresh. Im not a fan of Publix.

I just moved to this neighborhood about a year ago and this Publix is less than 5 mins from my place. Every time i visit here, i have a great experience and everyone is always helpful and happy. As someone who works in leadership, its a great sight to see. Today i stopped by to grab some stuff to cook on my way home and David at the seafood area was beyond nice and helpful. We had some good conversation and he even recommend me try a new type of salmon, which i cant wait to try. Thanks David!

I love publix and cakes but the cake i recieved for my daughters birthday yesterday, 10-6-2020 at 8 am was unacceptable for the cost and publix standards. Even the lady giving me the cake looked nervous as the cake was really messed up. I had no time to have it re-done so i said nothing. As you can see the hair is messed up the cake is lopsided and even the text is just poorly written in red at the bottom where you can see that the cake looks damaged.I asked for the text to be written in pink why is it in red? This is atrocious and I should get my money back as this shouldnt have even been sent out. I was hesitent to write a bad review because I do love publix. However there are many people who are better qualified looking for jobs and this just isnt fair to allow you to let an employee give such atrocious looking cakes or work on them your bakery staff need to be retrained because this isnt the usual publix I know, Im very disapointed. I wont be going back to this location thats for sure.

When a Publix does not have have something as simple as Minute Maid punch in the carton or frozen pink lemonade, thats a problem! They had neither! ... fruit punch, tropical punch, etc... They had Bacardi frozen daiquiri mix...and every frozen orange juice possible, but no frozen pink lemonade???I was really irritated by that. They lost LOTS of Publix points from me.

We just moved to Tampa. The Publix at New Tampa Center on Bruce B. Downs is very close to our house. The first thing I always see when I enter the store is a very nice gentleman by the name of Robert, who greets me with a new sanitized cart. Robert is such a happy, welcoming person, he always makes my day a little brighter. This Publix is always clean and well stocked. I love the Publix salads, usually buying at least two each week. I also love the deli desserts. I almost never have to wait to check out. The clerks and the folks bagging my groceries are all very polite. The people bagging my groceries always ask if they can help me take my groceries to my car. All in all, shopping at my neighborhood Publix is a very pleasant experience--which I appreciate!

Please tell your employees to stop wearing gloves when handling my items..theyre taking money, touching customers and other things all day and not changing their gloves..they need a lesson on how to properly wear gloves; they are not meant to be worn all day!! If theyre going to wear gloves they must change them each time. This is how the virus will spread. Looks like common sense isnt common. Wash your hands or use sanitizer, do NOT wear gloves. Please tell them to stop. This is absurd!!

Used to be a great places to shop, but the last few months have been sub par. During my last visit several maskless employees were audibly hoping to be sent home for refusing to wear masks along with semi-racial I cant breathe comments. They were grown men. Nobody likes wearing the masks, guys. Grow up.

I generally love Publix. However, what I have noticed in the last few times that I have bought cake from the bakery is that there’s less cake and more icing. I’m not sure if you’re selling diabetes or if y’all trying to run your customers away. You can’t offer great service and decline on the quality and expect it to go unnoticed. Bring back the cake and keep all that extra Greasy sugary icing.

I wandered in hungry and quickly found the hot foods, being my first time I didnt know exactly what I wanted then Kevin appeared and was very nice with helping me figure out the meals, the food was absolutely delicious and fresh .. Publix is very expensive. There bakery is gross. Lots time they are out of the most common things like milk bread ectWay to pricey. It was much better 15 yrs ago over all
